What is going on between them?" Soojin muttered, pacing back and forth in the parking lot of Han's mansion, her fingers fidgeting anxiously as she watched you and Jungkook at a distance. You stood still, not saying a word, while Jungkook leaned in close, his voice too low for her to overhear.
The sight left her restless. She couldn't wrap her head around it. The man who usually couldn't stand anyone near him, who was cold and brimming with arrogance, was standing inches from you. Not only that—he was listening to whatever you were saying with an expression that could almost be called patient. He didn't even react when you jabbed a finger into his chest in annoyance.
"What kind of spell did that bitch cast on him?" she hissed under her breath, her gaze never leaving the two of you. "Shit, I can't hear a thing they're saying." Biting her nails, she continued to stare, her jealousy simmering.
After agreeing to leave with him, you had taken a long bath, had a family lunch, and seen Jin Ae's parents off at the airport. Even then, Jungkook stayed by your side, not bothering to leave, as the maids struggled to load Soojin's endless pile of luggage into the cars.
It was ridiculous—the sheer amount of things she insisted on bringing for just one month.
Soon, a white limo pulled up in front of you and Jungkook. Soojin's mouth fell open in disbelief as Jungkook opened the door for you, helping you into the passenger seat before circling around to settle in next to you.
"No way," she whispered, her temper flaring. She took a step forward, ready to storm toward the limousine, but Jimin caught her arm, pulling her back abruptly. His hand slid to her waist, holding her close, her palms landing on his chest.
"Where do you think you're going, Little Pest?" he asked with a smirk.
"I was going to ride with Jungkook," she said, attempting to slip away, her gaze flicking toward the limo.
Jimin smirked, tightening his hold. "You know how Jungkook is about his things. He barely lets any of us near that car. What makes you think you'll be an exception?"
Soojin glared at him, her frustration boiling over. "He didn't seem to mind when my sister was with him."
"That's because he wanted her there," Jimin replied coolly. "But I can't say the same for you." He released her with a small shove, his hands sliding into his pockets with a lazy shrug. "But if you're that eager to make a fool of yourself, go ahead."
He turned to walk away but stopped, leaning in close with a mocking smile. "If you change your mind, the car taking you to the Jeon mansion is over there." With that, he walked off, leaving her fuming.
Soojin clenched her fists, watching as the limo's engine roared to life. The vehicle pulled away, followed closely by a convoy of SUVs.
"Fuck this," she spat under her breath, stomping her foot in frustration before storming toward the other car. She slammed the door shut with a loud thud, seething as it drove off behind the convoy.

Your hair danced lightly in the breeze as you stared out the car's window, determined to ignore the man sitting beside you. The scowl on your face remained, your irritation simmering just beneath the surface.
Even though you refused to look at him, you could feel Jungkook's gaze burning into the side of your face. His stare was intense, unwavering, and it only fueled your frustration. Clenching your fists, you blurted out, "Stop staring."
"I don't want to," he replied casually, with a nonchalant shrug. You turned to glare at him, fire blazing in your eyes—a look he found annoyingly cute.
"Aish... that glare is going to be the death of me," he teased, smirking as if your irritation only amused him. With a huff, you whipped your head back toward the window, not wanting to give him the satisfaction of seeing how much his antics bothered you.
One minute passed. Then two. Then ten. And still, he continued to stare at you, fixated on your sulky profile, taking in every twitch of your jaw, every flicker of annoyance that played across your face.
"Stubborn," he muttered under his breath, shaking his head before reaching over and pressing the button to close your window.
The sudden movement made you flinch, quickly pulling your hand away from the window's edge as the glass slid up.
"Hey! Why did you do that? " you snapped, frustration clear in your voice.
"And suppose to let you sulk?" he said, his tone playful but firm. "That's not going to happen."
Jungkook removed his jacket with deliberate ease, draping it to the side with an air of casual dominance. Next, he unfastened his watch, placing it neatly beside the jacket. His fingers moved slowly, methodically, as he loosened his tie and popped open the first few buttons of his shirt, revealing the hard lines of his chest, and rolled up the cuffs of his shirt with deliberate precision."
"What are you doing?" you blurted, panic seeping into your voice as you watched him, your eyes widening with each movement.
Without responding, Jungkook reached over and pressed the button to close the privacy partition, the soft hum of the divider sliding into place, locking the two of you into complete isolation while you narrowed your eyes in confusion. Before you could process what was happening, he grabbed your wrist, pulling you sharply toward him.
Your smaller frame tumbled forward, and with a gasp, you landed on his lap, your body pressed firmly against his.
"What the hell kind of behavior is this? You crazy bastard, let me go!" You struggled in his hold, wriggling and pushing against his chest, but his arms snaked around you, locking you in place with an iron grip.
"Are you deaf? I said, let me go!" you snapped, still fighting to free yourself, but his hold only tightened in response, the muscles in his arms flexing as he held you effortlessly.
"Ahhhh.. Stop squirming, princess," he murmured, his tone calm but laced with something darker. He leaned back slightly, his eyes hooded as he regarded you. "You're making things a little... difficult for me down there."
Your breath caught in your throat, and your eyes widened in realization. Heat rushed to your face, a deep flush of crimson spreading over your cheeks as you glanced down. Your body was pressed intimately against him, and you could feel the hardness beneath you, the unmistakable pressure of his arousal as your hips inadvertently brushed against him.
"Good girl," Jungkook murmured, his voice low and thick with satisfaction. "Just look at the mess you've made in a matter of seconds," he remarked, his gaze flickering down to his hardened manhood. "If you keep squirming like that, I'm not sure I'll be able to control myself."
He patted the top of your head with a gentle hand, as if you were a pet. The action only fueled your anger and you glared up at him with your red cheeks, eyes blazing with frustration.
"You look so cute when you're angry," he continued, a smirk playing at his lips. "Like a little kitten, all bristled and ready to scratch when something precious is taken away."
"Not only are you weird and crazy, but you're also disgusting," you shot back, locking your gaze with his, your voice steady despite the turmoil inside. "Now, I would appreciate it if you removed your hands from me."
"Why do you always push me away?" Jungkook asked, his eyes narrowing slightly. "I won't bite you."
"Because I'm allergic to jerks," you spat, your tone sharp with irritation.
Jungkook's smirk widened, and he leaned in closer, his breath warm against your ear. "You have no idea how big of a jerk I can be, baby. And you probably don't want to find out."
Another nickname, a wave of exasperation washed over you. This man was going to give you diabetes with all these sugary sweet names he kept throwing your way. You could feel your face heating up, turning as red as a ripe tomato. The worst part? Deep down, in some hidden corner of your heart, you were starting to like it.
His hands slowly began their descent from your waist, inching toward your hips with deliberate intent. Your heart raced, and panic seized you as the realization of what he was doing hit you. Without hesitation, you shot him a glare and barked, "Get your hands off my hips, you creepy alien, or I swear I'll cut them into pieces!"
Jungkook's raised one eyebrow teasingly, completely unfazed by your threat. "Oh yeah? Go ahead. I'd love to see you try," he taunted, his voice low, almost daring you.
You narrowed your eyes, determined to show him. "Fine. Watch me." You dug your nails into his arm, scratching them, making the skin of his arms slightly red.
Instead of pulling away, a laugh erupted from his mouth. A deep, rumbling sound erupted from his chest as he threw his head back, laughing with abandon.
You froze, your fingers stilling against his skin as you stared at him in disbelief. ''Is he... laughing?''
Since the moment you woke up here, you'd only seen him with that signature smirk or a cold, unreadable expression. But now... now he was laughing openly, freely.
The sight stirred something deep inside you. A wave of nostalgia washed over you, memories flooding your mind. That smile—it was still the same. He may have grown into a man, but the way his front teeth peeked out when he laughed, the same bunny-like grin, was just as you remembered. And that mole beneath his alluring lips, the one you used to find so charming—it was still there, adding a certain tenderness to his otherwise hard-edged features.
Unknowingly, a soft smile tugged at the corners of your lips as you watched him laugh. The warmth of his laughter—something you never expected to see—was contagious. In that fleeting moment, it felt as if you were glimpsing the boy you once knew, hidden beneath the man he had become.
"Such a wild kitten I've got," he chuckled, glancing at his slightly reddened arms as if amused by the marks you'd left behind.
The sudden stop of the car jolted both of you forward. Instinctively, you grabbed onto Jungkook's shoulders, pressing yourself toward him for balance, though his arms were already wrapped tightly around you, holding you securely in his lap.
"Easy, sweetheart. I won't let you fall," he whispered, his voice low and close to your ear, sending an involuntary shiver down your spine. Only then did you realize just how tightly you were clinging to him. "Feels damn good having you in my arms like this," he added softly, pressing a lingering kiss to the side of your head.
You blinked several times, trying to regain your composure before lightly pushing against his chest. A small groan escaped him, but his grip remained firm, keeping you in place. Glancing around, you asked, "Why did we stop here?" Confusion flickered across your face as you took in your surroundings.
"To get you something to eat," he replied, nodding toward the restaurant just outside.
"But I already ate," you muttered, your eyes darting back to him.
He raised an eyebrow, his expression turning serious. "I watched you push your food around the plate. You barely touched it because you were too busy sulking." His tone was firm, but not unkind, making it impossible to argue. "You haven't eaten anything since this morning, and it's almost evening now. What, are you planning to pass out from starvation?"
You stared at him, your mind reeling. ''He noticed that too''
With a faint smile, he loosened his arms, giving you the chance to move. But you were too shocked to react. Amused by your frozen state, he let out a dark chuckle before whispering in your ear.
"Are you going to walk inside on your own, or should I carry you in my arms?" His voice was teasing, but there was an edge to it. He clicked his tongue. "I wouldn't mind, you know."
"No way," you snapped, quickly freeing yourself from his grip and sliding off his lap. He stepped out of the limo, walking around to your side and opening the door with a smooth, practiced motion. He offered his hand, but you ignored it, stepping out on your own. He chuckled again, a quiet sound of amusement.
With a subtle gesture, he extended his hand toward the restaurant entrance, silently urging you forward. You shot him a quick glare before heading toward the doors.
Jungkook slipped his hands into his pockets, . "Always so stubborn," he murmured shaking his head, following close behind you.
