"What the hell?" Jungkook muttered, his mouth hanging slightly open as he stared at the photo he had just received from you. The image was almost surreal: you, grinning from ear to ear, head tilted a little, stood in front of a cab with both middle fingers raised defiantly. But it wasn't just the gesture that held his gaze-it was the caption below the photo:

"My sweet answer to Mr. Crazy Bastard."

His initial shock morphed into amusement as he stared at the photo. His lips tugged upward as a slow, sly smirk crept across his face, followed by a low, amused chuckle.

"Such a wild kitty I've got," he murmured, clicking his tongue with a smirk. The trill of his phone interrupted the moment. It was Jimin, whom Jungkook had dispatched to Jeon Mansion to keep an eye on you. Without hesitation, he answered the call.

"JK, Jin Ae... or should I say Y/N, isn't heading to Han Mansion. She's going towards her old apartment," Jimin's voice crackled through the line.

"Let her go," Jungkook replied, sliding into the driver's seat before shutting the car door with a quiet thud.

"But Jungkook, think about it again, if she really is Y/N like you believe, and if she goes there and finds out that whatever you told her was true, it will shatter her. She'll be heartbroken,"

Jungkook's grip tightened around the steering wheel as Jimin voiced his concern, his knuckles whitening because Jimin was right. He closed his eyes, taking a deep, steadying breath before speaking. "She deserves to know the truth, hyung. I know it's going to be hard for her. But sometimes, accepting the bitter truth is much better than living in a sugarcoated, awful lie. The fake hope will hurt her more Just keep an eye on her and make sure she's safe. I'll be there soon" Saying this, He ended the call, turned on the ignition of his Mercedes-Benz, and drove off, followed by a convoy of cars filled with armed and trained guards. He had a lot to take care of today.

---------------------------------------

The sun hung low in the sky, ready to jump below the horizon at a moment's notice, throwing just enough light to let the buildings cast long, dark shadows on the ground, the sky slowly burnishing itself from purple to a cold grey as the moon waited to come out. The cherry blossom trees, adorned with vibrant, colorful lights, created a mesmerizing spectacle. As the lights flickered on, they began to twinkle, casting a spellbinding glow that enchanted all who beheld them. People chatting and kids playing, creating a lively environment filled with vibrant energy and joy.

Amidst all of this, You stood anxiously in front of the building, your gaze fixed on a particular window on the ninth floor, the place that once was your home. As you stared, a rush of emotions surged through you, memories flooding back of the peaceful moments spent there.

After departing the Jeon mansion, you booked a cab to take you to your destination to find all the answers of your questions. But not before sending Jungkook a photo as your final answer. The satisfaction of your small victory simmered within you. Despite Jungkook's refusal to abandon the Jeon mansion, you had still managed to leave, unchallenged by anyone.

What you didn't realize, however, was that your departure wasn't due to the guards' reluctance to confront you. It was Jungkook's directive that paved your way. He had anticipated your rebellious streak; he knew you wouldn't agree if he asked you to stay put and would inevitably try to escape, even if the guards attempted to intervene. To avoid unnecessary struggle and ensure your comfort, especially since you were injured, he instructed the guards to let you leave if you chose to. Unbeknownst to you, your freedom was a part of Jungkook's plan.

As you stood in front of the building, you could feel the wind cooling against your skin, making a small shiver travel down your bare arms in the chill, goosebumps erupting across your skin like small soldiers readying themselves for battle. However, it wasn't the chill that truly unsettled you. It was the fear. Fear of facing the reality. What would you do if Jungkook's words turned out to be true?

''No, No, No.....''

You closed your eyes and gripped the hem of your dress tightly as the thought swirled in your mind.

Your heart pounded against your chest, each thump reverberating loudly in your ears. The noise was so intense that it drowned out the surrounding voices. Placing a hand on your chest you tried to calm your heartbeats somehow but failed miserably. You closed your eyes and took a deep breath.

"Alright, Y/N, you're a 22-year-old baddie. Don't be a wuss now. You've come this far. You've got this." With that pep talk, you took again a deep breath and stepped forward, entering the building, completely unaware of Jimin's presence, who sat in a Porsche, watching you from a distance.

"How does she even know where Y/N lives? Aren't they complete strangers? Could it be possible that she is really Y/N? Damn, what am I even thinking?" Jimin muttered, his eyes following you as you disappeared inside.

Jungkook's car led the convoy, with others following closely behind. His knuckles turned white from his tight grip on the steering wheel. His eyes, bloodshot and furious, were fixed on the road ahead. Rage consumed him, and why wouldn't it? A mere gangster had dared to steal his weapons. Not only that, but the bastard had challenged and mocked him by killing his men and sending their severed heads with his gang's seal imprinted on them. It was a clear declaration of war. Where did he get that audacity from?

Jungkook was the most feared mafia leader in the underworld, and the fact that a lowlife gangster, whom he could crush under his feet like a pathetic creature at any moment, dared to challenge him, made his blood boil. All he wanted now was to find that asshole and rip his whole body apart until his soul begged for mercy. Gritting his teeth, he floored the accelerator, pushing the speed to its limit.

After an hour of driving, they finally reached their destination: Gwangyang Port. Jungkook and his men parked their vehicles a short distance away to avoid drawing attention. The air was filled with the rhythmic sound of waves lapping against the docks, and a soft breeze brought a refreshing coolness to the otherwise tense atmosphere.

Jungkook and his guards exited their cars, advancing cautiously. Jungkook retrieved a pair of binoculars from his car's backseat and raised them to his eyes, his gaze sharpening as he scanned the surroundings with a calculated intensity.

"What is it, JK?" Taehyung asked, stepping up beside him. Jungkook didn't respond. Instead, he silently handed the binoculars to Taehyung.

Taehyung took them and brought them to his eyes, he raised his eyebrow as he noticed the surrounding. A massive ship loomed at the dock, its presence dominating the port. It was encircled by hundreds of armed guards, their vigilant postures suggesting a high level of security. The guard presence was so dense that it seemed improbable for even a bird to pass unnoticed, let alone a person trying to infiltrate.

"Huh..." Taehyung scoffed, his lips curling into a disdainful smirk. "So we were right. There's no way this broken bastard could amass enough money to buy such a massive ship and secure it with this level of protection. Someone powerful is backing him, providing both funds and security. Otherwise, a coward like him would never dare to mess with the king of underworld. i m sure that old bastard is behind all this JK. whom we are searching for months" Taehyung's voice grew harsh as he spoke about the old man with a immense amount of hate.

Jungkook pressed his tongue into his cheek, his jaw tightening as a pulse thumped in his head. The fire in his eyes was so fierce that if that person had been in front of him, he would have burned him and his entire generation to ashes. Taehyung mentioned a certain person-the one Jungkook had been searching for like a madman, on a relentless rampage for months. The connection was immediate and clear; it wasn't difficult for him to deduce who was orchestrating this entire operation. Fury surged through him, igniting a primal urge for violence.

"Surround the entire area. I don't want a single soul to walk out alive," he commanded, his voice deep, dark, and undeniably authoritative which was more than enough to make the guards heads bow in submission. His guards sprang into action, obeying without hesitation. The tension in the air was almost palpable.

With swift precision, Jungkook's guards attached silencers to their guns, their movements synchronized and efficient. They spread out, encircling the grand ship without making a single sound and without coming into sight of their enemy. Jungkook directed some of his men to flank left with Jackson and others to the right alongside Taehyung, while the remainder followed him directly. As they advanced, Jungkook's guards silently and lethally eliminated anyone who crossed their path. After clearing all the guards on the first floor, Jungkook signaled them with two fingers to move forward.

His guards spread out, some advancing to the second floor and others to the third floor of the ship, while Jungkook moved to the fourth floor with a select group where the VIP room was located.

Bodies began to fall, lifeless and forgotten, as the guards moved through the ship with lethal grace. The once lively ship was now a silent graveyard, the air thick with tension and the metallic scent of blood. Jungkook led his men with cold determination, his eyes sharp and unyielding.

Suddenly, a loud gunshot shattered the eerie silence, followed by a piercing scream. "The ship is under attack! Someone attacked us!" one of the guards of seagull gang yelled, his voice frantic as he fired multiple shots into the air to alert the others. Chaos erupted, but Jungkook's men remained unfazed, their focus unbroken as they continued their relentless assault.

"Alert all the men. They're attacking us. They've found us..." The guard of the Seagull gang yelled into his earpiece, his voice straining with urgency. His sentence was abruptly cut off when Taehyung shot him in the head, ending his life instantly.

"Stop screaming, fucker. You sound horrible" Taehyung snarled. He moved forward, delivering a final, angry kick to the dead body.

Jungkook reloaded his gun as he walked down the hallway, pulling another weapon from his waistband. Moving forward, he fired both guns continuously, not giving anyone a chance to compose themselves or retaliate. Stepping over the dead bodies, he made his way toward the VIP compartment, relentlessly shooting everyone in his path. His jaw clenched and his glare menacing, he instilled fear in everyone who dared to cross him.

He was the most dangerous mafia leader for a reason, after all.

"Fuck," he cursed under his breath as his gun ran out of bullets. Taking cover behind a wall to avoid being shot, he dropped the empty gun and pulled out his knife. When a guard peeked out to survey the hallway, Jungkook threw the knife with full force, striking the guard in the head and killing him instantly. With swift precision, Jungkook moved forward, retrieved the knife from the guard's head, and took his gun.

Another Seagull Gang guard attacked him from behind, but Jungkook dodged smoothly. Swirling the knife in his hand, he swiftly cut the guard's throat. He continued his rampage until not a single guard was left standing. His black suit was shining due to the wetness of blood.

Finally, he reached the VIP room. With a hard kick, he burst through the door, his steps confident and unwavering. The room was bathed in colorful lights, and rock music blared from a music player. In the center stood a table surrounded by large sofas. On one of them lay a man in his early 40s, half-naked, with two women clad only in lingerie. One of the women was on top of him, and they were practically eating each other out, oblivious to their surroundings. The other woman was busy touching and massaging his private parts over his pants, making him groan in satisfaction between kisses.

.Maybe the room was soundproof, which is why they couldn't hear the commotion outside. Stepping forward, he stood right behind the sofa, unnoticed by the occupants. Poking his tongue into his cheek, he kicked the back of the sofa to get their attention. His anger intensified as they remained engrossed in their activities. He kicked the sofa again, harder this time. The woman flinched and looked up, a piercing scream escaping her throat when she saw Jungkook. Another one immediately sat up from her position on top of the man.

The head of the Seagull gang groaned in displeasure at the interruption. "Who the fuck..." His sentence was cut short as Jungkook shot him in the arm. He cried out in pain, collapsing off the sofa. Both women screamed and tried to flee, but Jungkook pointed his gun at them, yelling, "STAY BACK!" They flinched in fear, then crawled into a corner, clinging to each other and praying for their lives.

The door burst open, and more Seagull gang guards stormed in, their guns trained on Jungkook, encircling him.

"What are you all waiting for? Just shoot him, fuckers!" Max, the gang leader, screamed at his men. Jungkook smirked, unfazed by the pathetic attempt at command.

As the Seagull gang guards were about to pull the trigger, all their heads blew off at once, shot from behind. Their lifeless bodies collapsed to the floor and the women in the corner screamed once again at the sight, the pristine surface now covered in blood. Taehyung entered the room along with other guards and Jackson, blowing the smoke from his gun with a smirk on his face.

"What a waste," Jungkook remarked in his deep, dark, and menacing voice, glancing over his shoulder at the dead bodies. He then shifted his gaze back to Max, who was crawling like a parasite, trying to reach the gun on the corner of the table. Jungkook lifted his gun and shot Max in the leg, eliciting a painful and loud groan. He fired again, this time hitting the gun on the table, causing it to shatter with a loud crack, and sending the gun flying across the room.

Max lay on the floor, groaning in pain and clutching his foot. His breathing was heavy. Glancing at Jungkook, he choked out, "How the fu...fuck did you get in?"

Jungkook moved toward another sofa without a word, his steps like a predator stalking its prey. Sitting down, he crossed his legs and draped one arm over the upper edge of the sofa, exuding a kingly demeanor.

"Guess your bitches weren't enough to control this hellhound," Taehyung snapped with a smirk. He stepped forward and delivered a hard kick to Max's chest, eliciting another cry of pain and cough. Signaling his guards, who nodded immediately, they dragged Max to Jungkook's feet. Jungkook sat like a king, watching impassively.

Taehyung hissed "Damn it, This parasite just ruined the whole day.'' he glanced towards the women in the corner who were hugging each other out of fear. ''Well, well well ...His men were dying outside to save him, and he was in here busy banging the puttani," Taehyung scoffed. ("puttani" is an Italian term that refers to whore or prostitute)

"You're making a mistake, Jeo..." Max began, but his words were cut off by Jungkook's deep, threatening voice.

"I'm not going to ask twice," Jungkook said, swirling the gun in his hand. "Where is he?" He looked directly into Max's eyes, making him gulp.

''i don't know what are...''

''Don't insult me further by questioning my knowledge'' he cut in his voice deadly and calm. ''You know better than that max''

"Guess you've caught on," Max snickered. "Yeah, Jeon, you're right. I did all of this on his orders. You didn't let me take control over the southern port of Korea, but he rewarded me with all this wealth and power for doing so." Max struggled to lift himself slightly. "If I can't have it, I won't let you have it either."

His words fueled Jungkook's rage. He pulled out a cigar and his lighter, placing the cigar between his lips and inhaling the white, chemical-filled smoke in his lungs before exhaling it into the air. Leaning in closer to Max, Jungkook gripped his hair so tightly it felt like he might rip it from his scalp, eliciting another cry of pain from Max.

"Do you enjoy testing my patience?" Jungkook hissed, bringing the lighter dangerously close to Max's left eye and flicking it. "Don't forget your goddamn place."

Max screamed as the flame from the lighter seared his eye. He writhed like a fish out of water, desperate to escape Jungkook's grip but failing miserably. Jungkook burned Max's entire eye before finally releasing his hair, causing Max to collapse defeated, face down on the floor. the glass piece on the floor dig in his flesh.

"Where is he?" Jungkook asked again.

"I don't know, he just offered me his hand for help and i accepted it" Max breathed heavily. "The only thing I know is that he... he is going to destroy your whole empire along with you." A sly smirk crept onto his lips as he said so.

"What a brave little ant you are," Jungkook scoffed, rising from his seat. A glint of pride appeared in his eyes as he noticed Max's body stiffen. "You know well that you are powerless." He placed his left foot on Max's head, making him groan as his bruised eye pressed hard against the wooden floor and glass piece dug harder. "And I can crush you in mere seconds. Don't feign courage in front of me. That would be pointless."

You can k...kill me, Jeon, but how will you kill the others? Half the underworld is against you because of the stunt you pulled months ago," Max stuttered as Jungkook pressed his foot harder against Max's face making him grit his teeth. "You should be the one praying for your life. Did you forget you lost 10 million dollars months ago because of your own man?"( secne from chapter 5) He smirked before continuing, "And now you're staring at a loss of 50 million freaking dollars." Hearing this, Jungkook kicked him hard, causing him to cough.

Taehyung snapped, 'This douchebag seems to have a really painful death wish, I guess''

'Say whatever you want,' he uttered, glancing at Taehyung before refocusing on Jungkook. 'But this is just the beginning. He plans to take everything from you, King JK,' he mocked. 'Your empire, your most trusted allies,' he gestured toward Taehyung and his guards, 'and even your own life. And you know the best part? You won't be able to save any of them.'

Jungkook's fists clenched, his jaw set in stone, eyes blazing with fury, poised to unleash the harshest retribution possible on the mere gangster lying at his feet, at his mercy and still spewing nonsense. But the next words that lowlife uttered shattered any semblance of control Jungkook had, unleashing a storm of rage.

"Just like you couldn't save that pretty little girl of yours."
