"How bad can they be?" This is what Prince Benjamin Beaumont asked his parents when he submitted his first official proclamation as king. Sure, he wasn't king yet, but there was so much to do, and this was a grand idea. Every time he looked out towards the view from his balcony, he could see the dark island out at sea. The little thing practically oozed loneliness, it was so sad, but what made Ben sadder was how he felt whenever he looked at it. "Every time I look out there, I feel like we've abandoned them. The villains were the ones we put away, but their children are innocent! If I don't do this, it'll be like leaving behind an entire island of kids to suffer a world they weren't responsible for creating. Don't you think they deserve a chance? Besides, how bad can they be?"

But while Ben had good intentions in mending both worlds, the kids that he chose were far from it.

The rotten apple truly doesn't fall far from the rotten tree.

There was Mal, daughter of Maleficent. Mal always strived to win. She was born from one of the most powerful villains that ever lived. Her mother could have ruled worlds. Only, she didn't, she was outwitted, defeated, foiled, you name it. Who would expect to fear someone so powerful that came from such a failure? She hated being reminded of it, she was ashamed to be related to her, and she aspired to be everything her mother never could. She wasn't proud like she was, she was smart enough to not go at it alone. Arriving in Auradon with her comrades, she knew exactly what she was going to do, never letting her friends forget that how their parents failed would be their guide to success. "Mine put people to sleep. I do too, I just don't need magic to do it."

Jay was much like his father. He always had revenge on his mind. The people of Auradon sent his father to the Isle, where the sorcerer no longer had his powerful magic and no longer had a claim to the throne. Jay was meant to be a prince, to be the sultan one day, to rule over his own kingdom, and Auradon robbed him of that. But Auradon was not the only one to blame. His father relied far too heavily on his sorcery, too much faith in the wrong type of power. He was driven power-hungry and it was his own undoing. Jay had never once had a drop of that magic in his life. He often took pride in that, that he wasn't magic reliant unlike most of the Isle was. When he was sent to live in a place where magic was much more reflexible, he still relented. Jay often felt empty, without an identity, and he blamed it on the ones that took what should have been his. The only times he's ever gotten close to humanity was when he saw the light in a person's eyes leave them when he'd plunged his dagger through their hearts. And he'd smile as he thought about the day he'd get to do it to his dear aunt Jasmine and her son. "I am, after all, the rightful heir to the throne."

Since she was young, Evie always knew she was better than her mother. The Evil Queen schemed to get rid of one girl that was better than her, and in such a ridiculous manner. There were times when Evie felt embarrassed whenever her mother told that story. Evie had a brilliant mind and was an astonishing chemist, never faltering in her abilities and never doubting herself. Especially when it came to getting what she wanted. She knew she was the smartest, the most beautiful, and the one with the most powerful friends on the Isle. And she intended to keep it that way, no matter the cost. Whoever threatened her position in any of those three categories would always find their end. It always depended on the person. Some would go to sleep at night, only to be awakened by the pain of their own burning flesh. It was a simple concoction the disturbed clever girl created out of her various collection of toxic chemicals. There were times when she could even trick her targets into eating her poison by themselves, you'd think people would be smarter than to accept food from the daughter of the Evil Queen. Once she got to Auradon, there were so many pretty faces for her to disfigure, she couldn't wait to get her hands on them. She didn't need a magic mirror telling her she was the fairest when she could simply get rid of her competition. "Don't worry, after I'm through with you, you'll be one of us."

In the de Vil house, it wasn't the mother who yelled and berated her son, but rather the son who frightened his mother so much, that she let him have anything he ever wanted. She was so proud of the villain she was raising, even if her own son terrified her to no end. She would tell him stories about those pesky puppies that always escaped her clutches before she could get her desired fur coats. When Carlos arrives in Auradon, there were so many fuzzy creatures to choose from. "Mom likes wearing the outsides, but me? I like playing with their insides." He gave his signature chilling smile that shook anyone, even his friends at times, to their core. Carlos moved from animals to humans fairly quickly, he was always so intrigued with all the little parts that made people tick on the inside. As he would pull their organs and intestines out one by one, the fact that the people he chose were still breathing before he cut into them didn't even phase him. If Carlos de Vil doesn't scare you, no evil thing will.

Prince Benjamin had decided on four kids of the Isle of the Lost to come to Auradon.

He believed in mending their worlds and proving that not everyone on the Isle of the Lost was evil. That not everyone on the Isle of the Lost was bad. That not everyone on the Isle of the Lost was lost.

He didn't know that these kids had been lost for ages.

Let me know what you guys think!

Which one was your favorite?

Did any of them shock you?

Did you enjoy it?

yes, this will be hella dark. I'm talking death-dark.

I'm dedicating this to my lovely writer wife (not really married), you were the first one to read about them as evil and honestly, all I ever really wanted after writing them was your reaction. So, I hope you liked this, tell me your thoughts and have no mercy, the best part about writing this is probably the reactions I get from you. ๐Ÿ’•
