With Johnny
16th August 1999
"Johnny! It's your wedding day!" Yelled Pansy excitedly as she burst into Johnny's bedroom at Potter Manor. Johnny had his Bachelor Party (organised by Pansy, his Best Woman) the night before, and was hungover as all hell.

"Can I die instead?" Johnny asked, burying his head deeper into the pillow. Pansy laughed slightly, approaching Johnny's side with a glass of water and a bottle of painkillers. When the pain in Johnny's head died down, Johnny and Pansy left the bedroom and went downstairs to the kitchen to see all the other Groomsmen eating breakfast. Harry, Blaise, Ron, Draco, Nick, Axel, Sam and Kieran agreed to become Groomsmen even if they were a bit salty Pansy was the Best Woman.

"There he is, the man of the day!" Blaise cheered excitedly, banging a beer bottle on the kitchen counter.

"Who let him drink already?" Johnny asked sarcastically while Harry slid him a beer.

"Cheer up, Johnny," Harry smirked, taking the cap of his own beer bottle. "It's your wedding day."

"And if Hermione kills me for drinking at ten thirty in the morning, I'm haunting you," Johnny laughed, scooping some beans up I'm his fork and tucking into his breakfast.

"Always knew you were gonna marry her," said Nick from opposite Johnny. "I knew from when you first got together."

"Yet he was secretly hoping you guys would break up," said Sam, the non-drinker of the group, ducking out of the way of the slap Nick was sending his way. Johnny laughed as Sam stuck his tongue out childishly.

"I'm perfectly happy with Amber, thank you very much," said Nick, drinking from his own beer.

"I'd hope you are, she's preggo after all," said Axel, causing them all to cheer and bang their bottles against the table. At eleven fifteen Kieran, the voice of reason, suggested they all shower and change into their suits for the day. So off they went, and after Johnny showered and styled his hair, he got changed and tied his emerald green tie. They had decided on getting tie colours related to their Hogwarts Houses.

Johnny, Pansy, Blaise and Draco would wear green for Slytherin. Harry, Ron, Kieran and Nick wore red for blood Gryffindor, and Sam and Axel wore royal blue for Ravenclaw. When Johnny exited the bedroom, the boys and Pansy wolf whistled at him playfully as he came downstairs, causing Johnny to shake his head in embarrassment.

"Fucking hell, not a lot of room in here," said Draco as the group of ten split into two sections for the cars to take them to Westminster Abbey. Johnny, who was sat in the front passenger, laughed hard at Draco and Blaise who shared the two small seats right at the back, while Nick and Pansy sat in the middle of the car. The group cheered when the driver finally started driving towards London.

"This is it, mate," said Pansy, wrapping her arms around Johnny's shoulders from behind. "You're about to get fucking married!"

With Hermione
"Mione, there's nothing to worry about," Selena said as Hermione paced the changing room at Westminster Abbey. Hermione was surrounded by Mia, Padma, Selena, Gabrielle, Ginny and Winona.

"What if someone objects? What if Johnny runs away?" Hermione asks, hyperventilating as she paced. Mia got up and grabbed Hermione by the shoulders, guiding her to a seat.

"Any other day I'd smack the shit out of you for being stupid," said Mia, pushing Hermione into the chair with by her shoulders. "But... it's your wedding day, and your daughter is here."

"What Mia is trying to say is," said Gabrielle, giving Mia firm look. "Is that Johnny is one thousand percent in love with you, and he'd never run away."

"We'd kill-" Mia was cut off by the women's glares. "Right, sorry," Mia mumbled, taking Winona from Ginny's lap and bouncing her on her hip, causing Winona to giggle.

"Why don't you go get changed, and we go from there?" Ginny offered, squeezing Hermione's hand in reassurance. Hermione nodded silently, going into a bathroom off to the side where her dress hung.

"Poor girl," Padma said. "She's a nervous wreck."

"Well anyone would be on there wedding day," said Ginny, rolling her eyes. While waiting for Hermione to exit the room, Caterina, Evelyn and Monica popped in, giggling and chatting excitedly about the wedding.

A/n: Courteney Cox as Monica Granger

"You must be my daughters friends!" Monica smiled widely, shaking hands with each of the girls. Mia and Gabrielle seemed to drool a bit at the sight of the older woman, but were quickly snapped back to reality when Ginny nudged both of them in the ribs. "So which one did Hermione pick as Maid of Honour?"

"That'll be me," said Ginny, as Evelyn took her Granddaughter from Mia and coo'd.

"Doesn't Cupcake look cute in this dress, Mon?" Evelyn asked, showing off the green Bridesmaid dress that Winona was wearing. Winona was picked by Hermione and Johnny to be their flower girl for two reasons. One, for being extremely cute, and two, for being their daughter.

"My Granddaughter always looks cute," Monica pouted, taking Winona from Evelyn's arms.

"I agree with Mrs. Granger," said Caterina, pinching Winona's cheeks and causing her to laugh.

Selena, who was growing worried that Hermione may have ditched the wedding, knocked lightly on the door before entering.

"Mione?" Said Selena cautiously when she heard sniffs. Selena walked further into the room to see Hermione in only her undergarments, her wand in her hand as she leaned against the wall. "Mione, what's wrong?"

"I-I'm two months pregnant," Hermione cried happily. "Look!" Hermione muttered the pregnancy test spell once more and the wand tip flashed green twice, signalling that she was in fact two months pregnant. The green then flashed blue, signalling she was pregnant with a boy. "It's blue for a boy, pink for a girl and if the colour flashes twice, it's twins."

"And you're having a boy!" Selena cheered excitedly, pulling Hermione into a tight hug. When she pulled away, Selena glanced down at her watch and gasped. "Hurry! You only have twenty minutes."

Hermione nodded just as Selena exited the room. She looked at herself in the mirror and smiled as she rested her hand on her stomach, stroking it lightly.

"Rhett Wendell Grindelwald," Hermione tested the name on her tongue and smiled as she moved towards her dress. The dress was red, so was her veil and her shoes, simply because the colour red reminded Hermione of when Johnny proposed to her two years ago. She pulled the dress on, slipped on her heels and veil and looked at herself in the mirror.

"Let's do this, baby Rhett," Hermione muttered to herself, her hand on her stomach as she exited the bathroom. The women gasped at the sight of Hermione, and Evelyn and Monica even teared up as they pulled Hermione into a hug, Winona squished softly between them.

"Selena said you have some news," said Monica and Evelyn in unison, as Evelyn held Winona and Monica held Hermione at arms length.

"Well, I'm pregnant!" Hermione said excitedly and the girls all gasped and cheered once more as they individually hugged Hermione, being careful not to step on her dress. "It's a boy."

With Johnny
Johnny exhaled nervously as he stood in front of Westminster Abbey with Pansy, the other groomsmen, Luca and Wendell. So far his parents, Hermione's parents, his sister, Tonks and Teddy and Hagrid had turned up, all smiling widely and baring wedding presents for the couple.

A/n: Matthew Perry as Wendell Granger.

"You look pale, son," said Luca, placing his hand on Johnny's shoulder as the sun beat down on them.

"I'm nervous," Johnny admitted, wiping his sweaty palms in the handkerchief Wendell had given him. Johnny gulped nervously and thanked Ron who gave him a bottle of water. "What if I'm like my father?"

"You're nothing like him," said Harry firmly, just as Professor Flitwick and his wife walked up to them, greeting them all with a handshake. Mrs. Flitwick, like her husband, was very short, but was all the same lovely as she greeted Johnny like a proud parent. However, they struggled to put their gift on the table and Sam rushed off to help his former Head of House.

"I think everyone is here," said Draco, fifteen minutes later. McGonagall, Luna (Sam's girlfriend), Amber (Nick's pregnant fiancé), Theo and Daphne, Molly and Arthur, Fred and Katie Bell, George and Angelina Johnson, Dobby and Kreacher and Neville and Hannah were the final guests to show up and enter Westminster Abbey.

Wendell, Pansy and the Groomsmen walked ahead of Johnny, as the Groom stood in the entrance to the Abbey, feeling like he was about to be sick any moment. Johnny took another large gulp of water, wiped the sweat on his forehead and entered the Abbey with his head held high.

When the music started playing, the wedding guests stood up and Johnny faced the entrance, his jaw dropping when he saw Hermione in the flowing red dress, his eyes practically budging out of his skull as he stared at his soon-to-be-wife. Hermione, who was only halfway up the aisle, arm in arm with her father, giggled softly at Johnny's reaction. Winona, who was now able to walk, was slowly walking ahead of them, throwing the flower pestles to the floor causing everyone to smile.

When they reached the alter, Wendell kissed his daughter on the cheek, and shook Johnny's hand firmly, before going to sit by his wife.

"You look beautiful," Johnny whispered, kissing Hermione on the cheek in greeting. Hermione smiled widely as they both faced the same guy who officiated Bill and Fleur's wedding along with Dumbledore's funeral.

"Good afternoon, welcome to this most important moment in the lives of this young couple," said the officiant with a squeaky voice. "We invite you to leave behind the worries and concerns of every day life and join us in the celebration of their marriage. This is an opportunity for us to share not only in the joy of Hermione's and Johnny's love but also to reaffirm and appreciate the love and the friendship we experience in our own lives."

"May we all celebrate by being fully present during our short time together. Hermione and Johnny have chosen this setting in which to be married because it provides an appropriate backdrop for the public affirmation of their love. Hermione and Johnny view marriage as a coming together at all levels of being — mind, body, and spirit."

A marital commitment includes the willingness to be open and vulnerable, and the courage to take risks. Marriage is a conscious act of will. To remain in marriage we must continually renew our will to be married. Marital partners accept the challenges that living together in love offer. They decide that they will face the fears that are a necessary part of establishing and nurturing an intimate relationship, and you, Hermione and Johnny, have made the commitment to create and recreate this conscious partnership."

Hermione took Johnny's hand in her own and gave it a tight squeeze.

"Those of us who are married or in relationships may take this moment to consciously reaffirm our commitment to our partners and ourselves. Marriage consists of entrusting our deepest selves into the loving care of another. It is a public and legal act to be sure. It is also an emotional and spiritual act. The spiritual aspect of marriage must be embraced openly, seriously, and completely for the marriage to endure. Hermione and Johnny commit themselves today to each other in sacred trust."

"They promise to embrace conflict as well as peace; to work as well as play; to struggle as well as coast; to give as well as receive; and to be with, stay with, and move toward one another."

"Johnny and Hermione tell me there will be no reasons and they know the responsibility of marriage, so we will skip straight to the vows," the officiant cleared his throat. "Hermione and Johnny have prepared their own vows for us today. Hermione has agreed to so gratefully start off."

"My darling Johnny, remember the very first day we met? From the moment I saw you, I knew, I just knew that you were The One, the one I MUST spend my life with. Our courtship has been the happiest period of my life because, in that time, you become not just my lover and companion, but also my best friend," loud sobs were coming from the back of the Abbey, and the soon to be newly-weds knew it was Hagrid instantly.

"I want to be your lover, your companion and your best friend for the rest of my life. I promise to love and cherish you, to keep you close and, with faithfulness, to be your support and help in times of need, to make you laugh and to hold you when you cry and to always show you the respect and honor you so deserve until I close my eyes on this Earth for the very last time."

"Johnny, today I take you to be my husband. Together we will create a home and life that is truly beautiful and filled with love and light and life and laughter. I vow to love you as you are – and not how I want you to be – and to grow old by your side."

The officiant started clapping and the guests followed suit, cheering for Hermione's vows. Johnny cleared his throat as he quickly searched his pockets, finding the piece of paper with his vows on.

"What can I say that I haven't already said? What can I provide you that I haven't already given? My body, my mind, my soul and my heart. They're all yours. Everything that I have and everything that I am, belonged to you long before today. And I promise that it shall all be be yours forever. I will be yours forever. I will follow you anywhere you go and anywhere lead me to. Hand in hand. Heart in heart. Let's get on with this so that we can grow old together!" Johnny joked, causing the crowd to laugh through their tears.

"From this day on, I choose you, my beloved Hermione, to be my dearest wife. To live with you and laugh with you; to stand by your side, and sleep in your arms; to be joy to your heart, and food for your soul; to bring out the best in you always, and, for you, to be the most that I can. I promise to laugh with you in good times, to struggle and support you in the bad times; to offer you solace you when you are downhearted; to wipe away your tears with my hands and my love; to share with you all my riches and honours; to play with you as much as I can until we grow old; and, still loving each other sweetly and gladly, until our lives shall come to an end."

"Hermione, from the moment I first saw you, I knew you were the one with whom I wanted to share my life. Your beauty, heart, and mind inspire me to be the best person I can be. I promise to love you for eternity, respecting you, honouring you, being faithful to you, and sharing my life with you. This is my solemn vow."

"How beautiful," said the officiant, wiping his own tears from his eyes as he clapped along with guests. "Now, who has the rings?" The officiant looked around, before Teddy ran up to him and gave him the two wedding rings. Hermione and Johnny each took a turn in kissing their son's forehead, before Teddy ran back to Tonks's side.

"Do you, Johnathan Fleamont Gellert Grindelwald, take Hermione Jean Granger to be y0ur lawful wedded wife, in sickness and in health, for richer for poorer, till death do you part?" asked the officiant, giving Hermione and Johnny the respective rings.

"You're goddamn right," said Johnny, causing Hermione to laugh as she slipped the ring on Johnny's finger.

"And do you, Hermione Jean Granger, take Johnathan Fleamont Gellert Grindelwald as your lawful wedded husband, in sickness and in health, for richer for poorer, till death do you part?"

"Of course I do," Hermione smiled and Johnny slipped her own ring on her finger.

"Ladies and gentlemen, may I now present to you Mr and Mrs. Grindelwald!" The officiant began to clap. "You may now kiss the bride," Johnny wrapped his arms around Hermione's waist and dipped her, connecting their lips in an extremely passionate filled kiss. When Johnny and Hermione began walking back down the aisle, Winona ran into Johnny's arms and he sat her on his hip, his right arm around Hermione's waist.

"Married!" Winona cheered happily for both her parents, having learnt the word last week from Pansy and Mia.

"That's right, Cupcake," said Hermione, showing her daughter the ring on her finger.

—————

Later that afternoon
"Ladies and gentlemen, can I get your attention please?" Said Pansy, clinking her glass with her knife as she stood up from her chair inside Grindelwald Manor, where the guests and the newly-weds had just finished their dinner.

"Of course, my name is Pansy Parkinson and I'd like to thank Johnny for finally confirming that I am indeed his best woman, after eight years of best-friendship," Pansy started her speech, earning a chuckle from the crowd.

"Best mates for eight years. Just think about what was happening eight years ago. On 6 May 1991, Arsenal were crowned champions after beating Manchester United 3–1 while title challengers Liverpool who finished second, lost 2–1 to Nottingham Forest," said Pansy getting a cheer from Luca and Wendell. "Patrick Swayze was named sexiest man alive. Still IS the sexiest man alive," Pansy winked and shit finger guns, earning a huff from Mia. Pansy kissed her quickly and continued on.

"On behalf of the bridesmaids and groomsmen, I would like to thank Hermione and Johnny for including us on their very special day," said Pansy, getting claps from the bridesmaids and groomsmen. "What a fantastic day it has been so far and so much of Hermione's hard work and preparation has gone into it. Johnny, you just sit there and enjoy yourself."

Johnny threw his head back and laughed, squeezing Hermione's shoulder as he high fived Pansy with his other hand.

"Speaking of the bridesmaids, aren't they looking fantastic? Thank you girls for making sure that Hermione looks wonderful as ever and that she made it here on time. For anyone who knows Hermione, she used to be on time a lot, but since Johnny came along, she's had the tendency for coming late," Hermione gasped and smacked Pansy on the arm as the crowd and Johnny burst into laughter.

"I'd also like to thank the groomsman and ushers, specifically Harry for his help organising Johnny's stag as, if he didn't, Johnny'd have ended up dead in a ditch somewhere and we'd buried six feet under from an angry werewolf Queen."

"A bit about Johnny and I, we first met in Hogwarts School and I don't initially know why we became friends," Johnny gasped in mock hurt but Pansy sent a smile his way.

"As teenagers, we'd usually get bored quickly and enjoyed experimenting. Get your mind out of the gutters!" Pansy yelled jokingly when a collective number if people gasped. "This isn't something I just want to tell you about, but share with you all. Johnny, I know when we spoke the other day, you said you probably wouldn't have a dessert. I'm hoping you will reconsider," Pansy motioned the waiter over and the waiter placed a covered plate in front of Johnny. "We created what we'd like to call, THE MANWICH!" Pansy pulled the cover off the plate and revealed what appeared to be a fifteen centre meter high sandwich, filled with bacon, sausage, egg, hash browns and other breakfast items. Johnny gagged just at the sight of it. "Slytherin's, I wholeheartedly apologise if any of you came down one morning, peckish for toast, but couldn't find any. It was all Johnny's idea."

"It was not!" Johnny said, snatching the microphone for a moment to speak into it. He handed it back to Pansy who laughed as Johnny wrapped his arm back around Hermione's shoulders.

"I asked other people that know Johnny to give me words to describe him: Arrogant, stubborn, weird... I couldn't really argue with his mum though could I?" The crowd laughed heartily as Johnny sent Evelyn a glare of amusement.

"Speaking of them, I'd like to take is opportunity to give a special mention to Johnny's Mum and non-biological Dad, Evelyn and Luca. Just a huge thank you from myself really for raising a brilliant son. Hermione, I can confidently say at you couldn't wish for a better set of in-laws."

The crowd aww'd at Pansy's words, and she waved them away, acting all tough.

"In all honesty, if I'm Superman, Johnny is my kryptonite. I've got a lot to thank Johnny for, mainly for his help building my confidence with other people, specifically women. I know this is something he likes to brag about but it's true. As a kid I was a little on the chubby side of life, Johnny gave the best piece of advice on girls that anyone has ever given me. "It's okay to be fat, you've just got to be fat and funny. The more they're laughing, the less time they have their eyes open." I'll take this piece of advice to my grave," the crowd aww'd again as Johnny stood up and moved around Hermione so he could pull Pansy into a side hug.

"Johnny," Pansy looks up at Johnny with tears in her eyes. "I would like to think that in the times when you have called upon me for help I have always been there for you and not let you down because you have always been there for me. I look back at some of the stuff we have done together and it makes me proud to have a mate like you."

"We have had some truly great times and have shared some great experiences together, memories I will never forget. I have been honoured to have been your best woman and want you to know that I look up to you more than you could imagine. Just remember, love is like a circle, it goes on forever. It's not like a triangle, triangles have corners. It's like a circle."

"Ladies and gentlemen, it truly has been an honour delivering this speech to you, so please, join me in raising your glasses to the happy couple! Johnny and Hermione!"

"Uh, I can't drink," Hermione announced, getting excited gasps from the crowd who just finished their toasts. "I'm two months pregnant! It's a boy!" Hermione hugged Johnny tightly, who buried his head deep into Hermione's neck and began to cry.

Winona, the innocent soul, climbed up on her father's lap and hugged Johnny too, causing the gathering crowd to aww at the sight.

"Sister?" Winona asked cutely, shoving her head between both her parents.

"Yep, you're going to be a big sister!" Said Hermione, poking Winona's stomach. Winona cheered loudly, causing her parents to laugh and kiss their daughter in the cheek.

"Ladies and gentlemen, it's time for the first dance," Pansy announced, taking Winona into her arms. Pansy waved her wand and the tables and all the dirty dishes disappeared, leaving an empty dance floor in the centre of the room. Johnny led Hermione to the dance floor and wrapped his arms loosely around Hermione's waist, Hermione wrapping her arms around around Johnny's neck.

The Lady in Red - Chris de Burgh
"I've never seen you looking so lovely as you did tonight,
I've never seen you shine so bright,
I've never seen so many men ask you if you wanted to dance,
They're looking for a little romance, given half a chance,
And I have never seen that dress you're wearing,
Or the highlights in your hair that catch your eyes,
I have been blind;"

Hermione cried happily as the song began playing, and Johnny twirled her, bringing her back in for a passionate kiss. The two began swaying again as Hermione buried her head in her Husband's chest, her happy tears soaking his shirt

"The lady in red is dancing with me, cheek to cheek,
There's nobody here, it's just you and me,
It's where I want to be,
But I hardly know this beauty by my side,
I'll never forget the way you look tonight;"

"I've never seen you looking so gorgeous as you did tonight,
I've never seen you shine so bright, you were amazing,
I've never seen so many people want to be there by your side,
And when you turned to me and smiled, it took my breath away,
And I have never had such a feeling,
Such a feeling of complete and utter love, as I do tonight;"

"I love you," Johnny whispered, his head resting against the top of Hermione's as they swayed to the music. Hermione moved her head and kissed Johnny once more, this time linger the last.

"I love you too, my King."

"The lady in red is dancing with me, cheek to cheek,
There's nobody here, it's just you and me,
It's where I want to be,
But I hardly know this beauty by my side,
I'll never forget the way you look tonight;

I never will forget the way you look tonight...
The lady in red, the lady in red,
The lady in red, my lady in red,

I love you..."

The sing ended and Hermione and Johnny split from one another, giving the crowd her wiping their tears away a small bow. When Hermione began dancing with her father, Johnny approached the bar that was built into the ballroom at Grindelwald Manor, and got himself a vodka and coke as he looked towards Hermione, who was being twirled by her father.

"You've finally did it," Evelyn smiled happily, hugging her son and resting her head against his chest. "You're married and I'm now a Grandmother to two children."

"Did you ever think you'd be a Grandmother at forty?" Johnny asked her, placing a kiss to his mother's temple as they watched Teddy and Winona copying the adults on the dance floor.

"I didn't think I'd have the chance to be a grandmother at all when the Scaletta's adopted you," Evelyn admitted, sipping her own drink.

"We found each other in the end," Johnny squeezed Evelyn's shoulder, causing her to smile as she pecked her son's cheek.

"That we did," said Evelyn, taking her son's hand in her own as she began dragging her son to the dance floor. "You owe me a dance before you go on your honeymoon."

"Yes, Ma'am," Johnny chuckled, and he and his mother began dancing in between Hermione and Wendell, Luca and Monica, Pansy and Mia, Harry and Ginny and all their loved ones. As a family.
