THE FIGHT CARRIED ON EVEN WITHOUT ASTRID'S AID. The fight was long and drawn out, thanks to the countless of Chitauri that descended down from the sky. Loki flew around the sky, ordering his army with confidence.
Just then, an arrow flew towards him. Yet, he caught it without a flinch. Loki looked at it with a pitiful glance, an overconfident smirk plastered over his lips. However, his boastful look did not last long when the arrow blew up in his face.
The explosion sent Loki hurdling off of his chariot and landing back in Stark Tower. Loki rolled on the balcony and stopped inside the penthouse. He flipped up, his hair flying from his face to behind his head. His eyes landed on the still sleeping Astrid.
His eyes widened as he crawled over to her. He knelt at the side of the couch where she laid. "No, no, no," he whispered as he clutched her hand in his. "Why aren't you awake yet?" He slouched his position so his weight was placed on his knees and feet, his grip loosening as his mind raced.
What have I done? Why am I doing this to her? You're meant to love her, aren't you?
He looked down to her hand that laid limp in his grasp, furrowing his brow at the white cloth that peaked out from below her cuff. But before he could submit to his curiosity, a low roaring grunt sounded behind him. Loki slowly turned around to see the Hulk staring at him, anger etched into his the crevices of his green face.
The Hulk does not hesitate to attack the god. The green monster hurtled towards Loki, leaping up and kicking him over Astrid and the couch. He hit the glass wall behind the bar.
Loki rushed up, his shoes clinching the broken glass below his feet. He approached the Hulk, anger oozing from his being. "Enough! You are, all of you are beneath me! I am a God, you dull creature! And I will not be bullied-"
Hulk cut Loki off by grabbing his legs and flinging him against the floor multiple times.
The shake of the room as Hulk pounded Loki into the floor shook Astrid gently awake. With a groan, she peeled open her eyes and sat up, an ache piercing her head. She turned her head to see Hulk continuously slamming Loki down and up again, just to plummet him to the ground once more.
"Hulk... stop smashing," Astrid spoke, stumbling up. The Hulk listened, throwing Loki aside on the ground, leaving him flat in the crevice of the floor.
"Puny god," Hulk grumbled out, turning away from Loki and rushing out over the balcony.
Astrid stumbled over to Loki, dried blood stained one side of her face and hair. She stood over Loki as he wheezed out in pain.
The blonde queen grimaced at the sight. "Puny god, indeed."
She crouched down, her knee beside his head. "Astrid, I-"
"Shut up," Astrid seethed out. She sent a powerful punch down to his face, hearing a slight crack as her fist collided with his nose. Loki collapse, falling unconscious due to the mighty punch. "That's enough talking from you."
She raised to her feet and looked down to the destroyed city. She could hear Selvig and Natasha shouting over the chaos to one another, it seemed that Natasha had secured the sceptre and was ready to close the portal when she was in the clear. Astrid looked to the city to see Iron Man flying at such an impossible speed, with a missile leant on his back. The ironed hero pushed the targeted bomb up, toward the portal, entering with the missile. Natasha must have began closing the portal as Astrid watched in suspense as the hole closed up, before Tony had exited.
Astrid sighed happily once she saw the figure of Tony fall out of the portal as it shrunk into nothingness. Yet, her relief did not last long as she noticed his body not slow down. He was unconscious due to the vacuum of space.
As he hurdled to the ground, Astrid launched herself from the balcony and landed gracefully on her feet, even through the ache of her injuries. She landed behind Captain America and Thor.
"He's not slowing down," Astrid pointed out as the trio watched Tony continue to plummet. All of a sudden, the Hulk jumped from the ground and snatched Tony's body, crashing them both into the side of a building.
Astrid grimaced at the destruction, taking note of the rest of the beat up city. What a mess they've made, she thought to herself.
The Hulk carelessly threw Iron Man to the ground as he landed, the unconscious hero laying before the trios feet.
Thor ripped off Tony's mask. He looks dead. That was the thought that was on everyone's mind.
"Is there anything you can do?" Thor asked Astrid.
Astrid shrugged but knelt down nonetheless. "I've never tried to revive anyone but there's always a first."
Astrid placed her hands on Tony's chest and closed her eyes. She furrowed them as her magic flowed through his body to detect any signs of life before she wasted any energy. "He's breathing," she pointed out. "Just not waking up."
Just then, the Hulk roared in anger and despair. The ear splitting noise must have startled Tony awake as he gasped and raised his head of the ground.
"What the hell?! What just happened?! Please tell me nobody kissed me?" Tony exclaimed.
Captain America sighed, leaning back after leaning over Tony. "We won."
Tony smiled. "Alright. Hey. Alright. Good job, guys. Let's just not come in tomorrow. Let's just take a day. Have you ever tried shawarma? There's a shawarma joint about two blocks from here. I don't know what it is, but I wanna try it."
Thor stood, looking up at Stark Tower. "We're not done yet." He was referring to a beat up Loki that still remained in Tony's penthouse.
"And then shawarma after."

THE GROUP OF HUMANS AND GODS STOOD IN THE PENTHOUSE AS THEY WAITED FOR LOKI TO WAKE UP.
"Jeez, Your Majesty, you musta packed one mighty punch," Natasha commented to Astrid. Loki was badly beaten yet his nose was the worst. Visibly broken and seeping blood from his nostrils.
Astrid smiled. "You flatter me but I think the big guy did most of it," she pointed to the Hulk.
A groan was heard from Loki as he steered awake. His body was stiff as he attempted to crawl from the crevice in the floor. But then he opened his eyes to see Thor, Astrid and the other humans who called themselves the Avengers standing over him with anger expressions.
Loki gulped at the intimidating predicament he was in and spoke up; "If it's all the same to you, I'll take that drink now." Referring to when Tony offered him a drink before the battle in the city.

THE SAME DAY THOR AND ASTRID DECIDED TO NOT OVERSTAY THEIR WELCOME. The Avengers escorted them to Central Park with a now handcuffed and muzzled Loki.
Astrid hugged Natasha before departing. "Thank you for your kindness. Once again, my visit to Midgard has been a pleasant one, though stressful." She pointed a glare toward Loki who rolled his eyes at the look.
"You're welcome back anytime, you can stay at my place." Natasha winked.
Astrid smiled as a blush rose to her cheeks. "That would be swell."
Thor, approached them, placing a hand on Astrid's shoulder. "Time to go." He said.
Astrid nodded, bidding farewell to Natasha and the other Avengers before approaching Thor and Loki. She heard a grumble come from Loki's bound face.
She smirked. "I prefer you like this," she pointed to his covered mouth. Another muffled grumble emitted from Loki's mouth. She chuckled at his reaction, smugly.
Tony opened a briefcase, revealing the Tesseract. Bruce took the glowing cube out and placed it into a glass tube that Thor was carrying. The Asgardian Prince raised it, handing the other end of the tube to Astrid who clutched it. She used her other hand to grasp Loki's arm.
Astrid takes one last look to Earth's Avengers with a soft smile.
And then a blue beam descended down the sky, enveloping the three gods, taking them back to Asgard where Loki will await his punishment.
