AS TONY AND STEVE RAN OUT OF THE ROOM, THE TWO GODS, THE SCIENTIST AND THE ASSASSIN WERE LEFT IN THE EQUIPMENT ROOM. Thor extended a hand down to Astrid, hauling her back up to her feet. The blonde queen thanked her friend, moving to the redhead assassin, helping her up as well. The trio looked around the room, unable to find Bruce.

That was until Natasha spoke up from the other side of the room. "Doctor... Bruce, you gotta fight it," she spoke to Bruce, Astrid deducted. "This is just what Loki wants. We're gonna be okay. Listen to me." Two SHIELD soldiers enter the room to check on the quartet, but Natasha furiously waves them away. They then bolt out of the room.

Astrid caught a glimpse of Bruce's face in the dim light as the lights had been flickering upon the impact of the explosion. His face visibly struggled to suppress his rage. His face was glowing, morphing before her eyes.

Natasha continued. "We're gonna be okay. Right? I swear on my life I will get you out of this, you will walk away, and never-"

"Your life?" Bruce bitterly spat out. His voice changed from its soft tone, now turned into something more vicious, more terrifying. Another explosion rocked the carrier, causing the trio to be jolted around once more. Natasha was caught under some fallen scaffolding, Astrid had been thrown into the wall, hitting her head harshly resulting in her eyes shutting on impact. Thor was out of sight, the blonde goddess has no idea where he had been thrown to. The second explosion caused the faulty lights to blow out, but that did not stop Astrid from catching a glimpse of a fully transformed Bruce. His skin was now green, his stature larger, his face scrunched up in an expression of permanent anger.

"Bruce," Natasha pleased, silently crying as she desperately tried to free herself from the rubble. Astrid's eyes began to close, the collision of her head catching up with her senses. But before she passed out, she watched as Natasha managed to free herself and rush out of the room, a furious Hulk hot on her heels.

Not again, she thought, remembering the fight with Loki at Rainbow Bridge where he threw her into the wall giving her a concussion.

Loki.

Her last thought before falling asleep.

"ASTRID?! WAKE UP!" A booming voice echoed through Astrid's ears and she felt herself being shaken awake. Her heavy lids peeled themselves open, a blurry vision greeted her. A broad sculpture with long blond hair. Thor.

She blinked a few times, taking a moment to gather her thoughts as she remembered what happened to get her in this position. Astrid looked up to her Asgardian friend as he shook her.

"Thor?" Astrid grumbled out, her head still pounding. One more hit to the head and I'll start losing my memories, she thought.

"We have to go help that red-headed woman."

"Natasha? What happened to her?!"

Thor helped the blonde up as he explained that she evaded the Hulk but he was still pursuing her. The two gods rushed through the barely-flying carrier until they found the two humans.

The green monster smashed into the ground as the redhead watched in fear of her safety from the ground. The Hulk raised his hand to crush Natasha but Astrid and Thor are quicker.

Thor tackled The Hulk into the next room while Astrid swooped into to pick up Natasha and rush her away from the room. Astrid held the redheaded assassin in her arms, knowing the killer must have hurt herself while defending herself against Hulk.

"It's not every day a woman sweeps me off my feet," Natasha joked through a hiss of pain.

Astrid chuckled. "You should get more used to it."

After getting some distance from where Hulk and Thor disappeared, Astrid stopped running. Lowering Natasha to the floor, she asked; "Are you okay?" Her eyes scanned over the slightly trembling figure of Natasha's.

The redhead nodded. "I've been through worse."

Astrid chuckled once more. "I don't doubt that for a second. You're strong. Remember that. Now, I'll go sort it out."

Astrid then patted Natasha's head twice before rushing over to where Thor and the Hulk went.

She entered the helicarrier's aircraft port to see Thor wrapped around the Hulk's fists, stopping him from punching the god.

"Am I interrupting?" Astrid asked, raising a brow at the humorous position her friend was in.

Thor looked over to Astrid with a pleading glint in his eye. "A little help, please?"

Astrid sighed before rushing over to help her friend. Hulk raised his arm and sent Thor flying through metal crates harshly. Astrid jumped in the green monster's back, her armoured legs wrapping around his neck and her hands pressed against his temples.

"I really don't like doing this," Astrid stated as the Hulk tried  to whack the queen off his back. "It takes a lot out of me. But you're a special case, my friend. It's not common someone can knock Thor like that without breaking a sweat."

She pushed her palms flat against his temples and closed her eyes. The Hulk halted his movements as Astrid tapped into his emotions.

Anger. Torment. Rage. Stress. Pain.

That's what she felt in his thoughts rush around his head. No wonder he's so on edge, she thought to herself. As she attempted to calm his mind with her powers, she did not notice her blond friend running up to them with his hammer in hand, ready to smack the tool into the monster's head.

She opened her eyes as Thor yelled. "No! Stop!"

But it was too late. Thor had smacked the hammer into Hulk's head, causing Astrid to fling off from his shoulders and to the ground.

All her hard work trying to soothe his mind to get him to revert back to Bruce; wasted.

The three continue to fight, trying to at least knock the monster out.

However, a jet outside the window began shooting at the Hulk's back, causing his anger to peek even higher.

Hulk turned around and sprinted toward the offending jet and crashed into the broken window, landing on the plane and destroying it as it was still in flight. Astrid stood from the ground with Thor, watching from the window as the Hulk was flung from the exploding jet and sent hurdling towards the ground.

"I'm sure he'll be fine." Thor shrugged, patting Astrid's back.
