The guardians all gathered around a small circle, Tooth gently setting a candle down with Sandy's figure engraved in the middle of it. North and Bunny grimace as she rises with a sniffle, reaching out and gently grabbing her hands.

North and Tooth look at each other, sighing softly as they look away. Bunny slowly takes Tooth's hand, unshed tears in his eyes as Tooth smile softly while crying. She takes North's hand, the Yetis around them mourning.

Elves slowly ring their bells, their expressions sad as they all stare at the flickering candle.

...

Jack sits by a window, his hood pulled up and covering most of his face, his knees pulled to his chest. (Y/N) sits just infront of him, her cloak pulled tightly against her form.

She fiddles with her fingers, now permanently colored black as she looks outside. She was constantly cold, her arms having gone numb the moment she woke up. She didn't mind though, she was to exhausted to care.

Jack sneaks a glance at his friend, his lips trembling slightly as he stares at her fingers. He clenches his fists tightly before bringing a hand up to the window and gently tapping it.

Frost begins to appear across the window, a small image of Sandy incasing it, it's little form covered in beautiful details from head to toe.

"Are you two all right?" North's voice greets softly as he approaches the two. "(Y/N)?" He questions, his voice soft as he gestures to her hands.

The girl nods, pulling her sleeves up and covering her hands quickly. "Feels numb." She mumbles, turning her face away and continuing to stare out the window. North sighs, nodding before turning to the white haired boy.

"I should have gotten there faster," Jack shakes his head, balling his fists in anger. "I should have done something."

"Done something?" North repeats, looking between the two. "Jack, you two stood up to Pitch. You two saved us!"

"But Sandy-" he starts as North sits in front of them. "Would be proud of what you did together," North speaks up, smiling softly as Jack looks up at him.

He sighs softly, removing his hood and jumping from his spot as he paces around.
(Y/N) watches him as she hugs her knees close to her, looking out the window.

"I don't know who you two were in your past lives...but in this life you are Guardians," North continues, rising and touching Jack's shoulder as he places his other hand on (Y/N)'s.

"How can we know who we are until we find out who we were?" Jack questions.

"You will get those answers." North replies, smiling. "I feel it..." He pats his stomach, "in my belly!"

Jack sits back down, snickering as (Y/N) lightly laughs, smiling at the big man. They all laugh quietly before North gets up, nodding to the two before walking away.

Silence envelopes the two, the sound of feet shuffling catching Jack's attention as he watches (Y/N) stretch her legs, her feet coming up to entangle themselves between Jacks freezing ones.

The boy looks up with a raised brow, his lips turning down slightly as (Y/N) stares at him, her eyes trained downwards.

"I never loved him."

Jack's breath hitches, his hair peeking up as he watches his friend, his shoulders slumping downward.

(Y/N) chuckles sadly, "At least not in that way." She sighs. "I loved him in a way a sister would a brother, he was my whole world, Jack."

Her voice is soft, but has a slight edge to it, getting the point across to her best friend. "I never considered taking our relationship anything past that, and Pitch felt the same way."

She spits his name out with such venom that even Jack recoils at the feeling. "So to answer your question.." she looks up, her eyes steady.

"..no, I never loved him."

It felt like an eternity, as the two continue to stare at eachother, before Jack finally sighs. He lifts his head up, a small smile resting on his pale face. He brings his hands up, cupping both sides of (Y/N)'s face ever so gently.

(Y/N) sighs at the feeling, her cheeks warming up as she leans into the touch. Her brows slightly furrow as Jack begins to gently press his palms against her cheeks. She opens her eyes slightly, a small glare on her face as Jack slightly smirks.

The boy leans forward, nuzzling his forhead into (Y/N)'s with a deep chuckle. The girl softly squeals at the feeling, her breath hitching as Jack reaches around and tugs her hood over her head, the soft material caressing her face.

They both smile at eachother, their faces warm as Jack smirks, his fingers gripping the edges of his friends hood before he yanks her, (Y/N) stumbling forward with a yelp as her head falls in between Jacks neck and shoulder.

Her body slumps lazily into his as Jack pushes his back against the wall, his body slowly slumping to lie down as he wraps his arms around his friends, their legs tangling together as they lie in eachothers embrace.

"Stop talking, (Y/N).."

...

The lights on the Globe flicker, many going out as only a few remain. "Look how fast they're going out..." Tooth breathes out in horror, (Y/N) sighing as she fiddles with her fingers, trying desperately to bring any feeling back into them.

Jack looks down, his brows furrowing as he quickly grasps his friends hand, running a thumb over the back of it to calm her down.

"He's tipped the balance," Jack says, flying up to the Globe and looking down at North as he places his hand on (Y/N)'s shoulder.

"Hey, buck up, you sad sacks!" Bunny grins slightly as he approaches them, hopping on the control pannel. "We can still turn this around! Easter is tomorrow. And I need your help. I say we pull out all the stops and we get those little lights flickering again!"

Jack smiles widely, (Y/N) at his side as they both join their friends.

...

North slams the door open, smiling as he walks.

"Bunny is right," he admits as they make their way towards the sleigh. "As much as it pains me to say, old friend, this time Easter is more important than Christmas."

Bunny's eyes widen as he gasps, looking around with a wide grin. Jack shrugs with a small smile as (Y/N) chuckles at his expression, her eyes softening.

"Did everyone hear that?"

"We must hurry to the warren. Everyone, to the sleigh!" North yells, Bunny's ears perking up.

He smirks wildly at his friends, "Oh, no, mate. My warren, my rules. Buckle up."

He smirks as he taps the ground twice,North's eyes widening.

"Shostakovich!"
