𝑨𝑪𝑻 𝑶𝑵𝑬 ━ 𝑷𝑹𝑶𝑳𝑶𝑮𝑼𝑬

𝐄𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐘𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐊𝐍𝐄𝐖 𝐀𝐁𝐎𝐔𝐓 𝐆𝐑𝐄𝐄𝐊 𝐌𝐘𝐓𝐇𝐎𝐋𝐎𝐆𝐘 is a lie, well not really. It was never a myth, never a fantasy, never a theory, it was all real, everything. Every gods, goddesses, stories and rumours. Every little monster, every creature and every beast were always present in this cruel world.

The ancient Gods have been at war from dusk till dawn ever since their birth. Day and night, they were the only ones left in a never-ending battle. Gods and Goddesses have fought for millennia, era after era, despite the fact that they were practically all related.

Mothers and Daughters, Fathers and Sons. Sweet and delicate hearts have been turned bittersweet, sour and crazy. That was only the half of it, more tragedies and heroic acts have happened. Some went to mortals and got childrens, demi-gods or half-bloods, that is the only reason why Camp Half-Blood was created.

They lived and live forever, love and hatred have made up most of the gruesome battles but everything have happened for a reason, a quest, a prophecy.

Zeus, the supreme god, god of light, thunder and lightning, and son of Cronus and Rhea. Father of the Gods of Olympus. He was also a huge fan of cheating on his wife, Hera.

Hera, the queen of gods, goddess of weddings and marriage ( ironic to think that her husband cheats on her ), and also daughter of Cronus and Rhea, yes the same as Zeus. She is also a bitch, because she takes her anger out on her children and her husband many affair.

Poseidon, the great, the god of the sea, earthquakes, and horses, and brother to Zeus and Hades. Father to the biggest asshole in this world, Percy Jackson. He is cool maybe not the greatest father but still.

Athena, the wise, the goddess of wisdom, handicraft, and warfare, and daughter of Zeus.  Mother to my wise and  lovely best friend Annabeth Chase. She is a quite strict mother not very sociable but not the worst one.

Hades, the unseen, the god of the dead and the king of the underworld, and brother to Zeus and Poseidon. He is probably the most chill one out of all, he isn't bothered about anything but he is the god of death so don't expect anything.

Persephone, bringer of death, the goddess of spring growth and queen of the underworld, wife of Hades, and daughter of Demeter. She is something else, she is a bitch sometimes but having been kidnapped to be married isn't the best either.

Ares, throng of battles and ruins, god of war, bloodlust, and courage, and son of Zeus and Hera. Father to my friend Cloé Winchester and to the brute Clarisse La Rue. He is very cocky and arrogant and that can be seen in Clarie and Chloé.

Aphrodite, the love cupid, the goddess of love, beauty, pleasure and procreation, born from sea foam. Mother to me, Iris Daphne Elliott. She is the best mother in the world, I mean I didn't meet her before I came to Camp Half-Blood but I also have my father, James Elliott. He is also a very good father, I've lived with him since I was born, he was an actor.

James knew that my mother was not normal, which sounds stupid but he knew she was special and he was right, she was a goddess.

My mother never followed the rules, she would make little miracles happen and I would always think that my mother had something to do with it. She was told to never interact with her children but I would see her in my dreams.

𝐂𝐀𝐌𝐏 𝐇𝐀𝐋𝐅-𝐁𝐋𝐎𝐎𝐃, 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐈𝐑𝐈𝐒'𝐒 𝐍𝐄𝐖 𝐇𝐎𝐌𝐄, she was just dropped off near road by her father. A beautiful woman had come to her house a week ago and had talked to her and her father, turned out it was her mother, Aphrodite.

She had told the seven year old Iris and her father everything about the gods and goddesses, she told them about her and a camp where Iris should go to because of her being a demi god.

"So you are a goddess," said a seven year old Iris. Aphrodite chuckled and slowly bend down to her unbeknown daughter.
"Yes, sweetheart I am, do you know which goddess am I?" she asked with a smile on her face.

Aphrodite loved all of her children, Iris including but what made Iris different is that she had a prophecy that had been placed on her since her birth which had also given her a special power. The prophecy had been told to Aphrodite before the birth of her daughter.

"Um no, but you must be a powerful one!" said an overly excited Iris. Aphrodite smiled and said "Ahh well let me tell you a secret Iris, I am Aphrodite, goddess of love, and also your mother!"

Iris stood there for a few moments, trying to understand what had just happened, for seven years of her life she had known that her mother had been on a trip and would be back soon, that was what her father had told her.

James Elliott was standing next to his daughter, he smiled knowing full well that he was right about Aphrodite. He knew she was different but he never thought that she would be a goddess and that his daughter would be a demi-god. He knew that he had to put her in that camp, Camp Half-Blood.

"You...you are my mother but I thought my mum was on a trip," said Iris in a confused tone. "On a... a trip, wow James you really couldn't find anything better," she said looking up at James who was hiding his chuckles. "Well..." he said.

"Yes I am your mother Iris and you are also a demi-god and that means-" started Aphrodite but was interrupted by Iris who said "A demi-god, you mean...mean like half of you, does that mean I have powers!"

"Oh sweetheart, you are half goddess and half human, and as I was saying you will have to go to a special camp that will help you become a great demi-god," said Aphrodite laughing at her daughter's rambling.

"Really! Dad will I go," said Iris. Aphrodite looked up at James, eagerly awaiting an answer she dearly wanted to hear. James looked at Aphrodite thinking about his daughter and said "Yes...yes you will go to Camp Half-Blood."

Aphrodite smiled at James and looked back at Iris with a smile, "I'll drive you there with your dad okay, sweetheart." Iris was so excited that she jumped into Aphrodite's arms and hugged her. She then turned and hugged her fathers legs.

After talking for a while, Aphrodite walked towards the door and just before walking out she turned around to look at Iris one more time and said, "Okay Iris sweetheart, I'll see you in a few days ok."

"Do you...do you have to go now, mum," said Iris. "Oh sweetheart I'll be back don't worry," Aphrodite said while going to hug her daughter one more time before heading out the door.

𝐖𝐀𝐋𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐓𝐇𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐆𝐇 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐆𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐒 𝐖𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐀𝐏𝐇𝐑𝐎𝐃𝐈𝐓𝐄 was something Iris never thought would happen, it was five in the morning and Iris, James and Aphrodite were in front of the gates. Aphrodite knew that this was not the best idea, to walk into the camp with her daughter which is why she had insisted on coming at five in the morning.

Aphrodite had contacted Chiron, who had asked her to come in and introduce her daughter to him. He wasn't sure that one of the goddesses coming to camp was a good idea but since she had stated that she would be undercover.

James and Iris stayed in the car as Aphrodite came out of the car and stood in front of the gates. "Listen honey you know that you'll have to stay here for a long time, but you can come home during a period of time okay and I'll be there with you and I'll help you, okay Iris, I love you sweetheart don't you forget that," said James to his daughter and then hugged her.

"I love you too dad, I promise I'll come back home," said the seven year old. She then looked at her father wanting reassurance that she could get out and go to the gate.

Sensing her look, James looked at his daughter and nodded with a smile. He knew he wouldn't see her for a while but he knew she would become a fighter and would be able to take care of herself.

Iris got out of the car, walked towards her mother and took her mothers hand. "Iris, sweetheart are you ready to become a demi-god," Aphrodite said. Iris replied by nodding enthusiastically making Aphrodite chuckle.

They started walking through and walked down the hill towards the camp. Aphrodite made sure to not make themselves known to anybody around and by luck nobody was awake yet.

Aphrodite and Iris walked towards the Big House where Chiron waited for them in front. "Lady Aphrodite it is my pleasure to have you here," said Chiron while welcoming them in.

Once inside, Chiron and Aphrodite talked about the next steps while Iris looked around the Big House. "Iris, please could you come here with me, I'll be taking you to your new cabin where you will be meeting your half-siblings in a moment okay," said Chiron.

Iris nodded and walked next to her mother who then bent down to her level where she said, " Listen to me sweetheart, you are Iris Daphne Elliott my daughter and an Aphrodite child, remember that you are powerful and also remember to," Aphrodite dropped her voice to a lower one and said with a chuckle , "to use your charmspeak whenever you feel like it, okay."

"Yes mum, I hope I see you again," said Iris in a sad voice. "You will sweetheart, in your dreams just like before," replied Aphrodite.

Aphrodite walked out of the doors after hugging and smiling to her daughter. Iris and Chiron walked around the camp, where Chiron showed her everything and then showed her the new cabin, Cabin 10.
