          THE music in Marina's home echoed loudly in Jeff's ears as he walked through the bodies of people around him. He could feel his white face paint grow sticky by the minute as sweat decorated his forehead. He spotted Zane and Heath laughing with Brian and Scott Nicholson by the kitchen island, David by the four laughing as Zane and Heath drunkingly joked about nonsense.

He glanced around him, it wasn't a large party compared to the LA or Miami ones he had been too. But it was quite large. It was simply Marina's friends and some family members of her's. He was aware she wasn't into parties that held over hundreds of strangers, especially not in her safe space, especially with her dogs around.

He nodded towards Victoria who spoke amongst Corinna, Natalie and a few others. "Hey, you seen Marina?" He asked the curly haired woman who shook her head.

"I saw her go through there a little ago." She pointed towards the opening that led to her patio near the pool area. "Might be with the dogs."

Jeff thank'd her and made his way outside spotting the furry coat the brunette had been wearing all night, she sat on one of the outdoor chairs and both Myron and Toulouse laid next to her sleeping soundly, as the other dogs either ran around the pool.

The man took a seat next to the brunette.

"You okay?" He asked as she nodded with a smile, despite half her face being under special effects make up he could still see it. "You weren't joking about you go full out, huh?"

Marina giggled, "I always loved Halloween growing up." She explained, "It was fun to be someone else for the day." She explained as he nodded in understanding. "Even if it's cute or creepy." She shrugged and glanced over to him, "And I'm glad you didn't show up in a leather jacket and white tee."

Jeff laughed, "I thought about it, James Dean. Then you'd have to sing Moonlight to me in front of everyone."

Marina groaned playfully as his smile widened, "Don't remind me. Everyone wants me to sing it for my last shows and -- I like it but it's funny to me. Ricky still jokes about it." She explained as he nodded glancing back through the glass doors seeing the male laughing with others.

"Well, you can think of me when you sing it." He joked as she smiled.

"Well I wrote the song bout him, so it would kinda defeat the purpose, no?" Jeff shrugged, "And I might've already wrote one about you." She said as he looked over immediately.

"You -- you did?" He asked stuttering slightly.

Marina nodded as her cheeks tinted pink, thankfully the man next to her couldn't see it. "Which one?" He asked, "It would have to be either your new singles or in Thank U, Next." He thought to himself as Marina watched in amusement, "Uh, okay, um, Bloodline? I mean I wouldn't be offended whatsoever, I should be but I wouldn't be." He rambled as she giggled.

"No." She shook her head.

He pouted as he thought to himself, "Monopoly? No, you said that was about--" He began as she shook her head, "Okay, I don't know the others were collabs."

Marina bit down on her lip as he pleaded for her to tell him, she smiled looking up at him and said, "Boyfriend might've been about you . . . or us?" She said shyly looking away, as Jeff's eyes widened. "Lame, I know."

"No, I loved it when it came out." He explained taking a hold of her gloved hands in his own, "I might've been a bit . . . jealous of Mikey." He admitted as she let out a laugh covering her mouth as he looked away in embarrassment.

"Are you serious?" She asked as he groaned. "Why?!" Jeff looked at her, "The music video?" She asked as he nodded.

"You guys looked really, whatever."

"No." She shook her head smiling at him, "I would've asked you but we just used ourselves as the actors. Unlike Break Up With Your Girlfriend."

"That was the best day of life." He admitted as she smiled. "So, wait, the lyrics . . ."

Marina nodded, "I don't wanna lie and say I don't feel something for you because I do." She admitted as he stared at her silently, "I just --"

"The media?" He asked.

Marina sighed and took her hands back into her lap much to Jeff's dismay. "I just, it's different. It's a lot and you've kinda went through it this past year. They get shit twisted, and they lie. And sometimes the fans . . ."

"I don't give a shit about the media." He says as she lets out a small sigh, "I'm serious. When Jason broke up with Trish you saw how she dragged pretty much all our names into it, and I'm a fan of ignoring the problem until it goes away."

"Seriously, a Stiles quote?" She asked with an amused giggle.

He smiled down at her, "As for your fans, and mine . . ." He trailed off thinking to himself, "If they care about us, they'll support us, and if not then they can -- they can get blocked." Marina shook her head smiling, "I mean it. It's not a secret I've been crushing on you for a long ass time. And when we met . . . and I got to know you. The shit you been through and I don't know, I just I haven't felt like this since Cierra and it was hell getting over her, I mean I had the group to distract me but, you know how it is." He explained.

"But when I met you, it's like I forgot about it. As crazy and stupid as it sounds you made me forget about her that way and . . . I think I'm in love with you." He admitted as Marina pressed her lips together starring up at him slight shock.

Part of her wanted to say it back but, the other, wasn't sure she was ready for it. She had strong feelings for him yes, she knew that. And everyone around them could see how they truly felt about one another. Whether it be them constantly holding hands, or talking about everything and absolutely nothing at all. Anyone could see how the two were in love.

With what had occurred with her past two relationships, she had learned what the saying truly meant. And the deeper meaning behind it. She knew Jeff understood it, and how big of a deal it was to utter it to someone, especially in her case.

Though she wasn't sure she was ready to utter it just yet. Unbeknownst to her, he knew it and he'd wait and be there for her until she felt confident about her feelings for him. As long as she felt something for him he didn't care, he truly loved her; and day by day that love was only growing stronger for him.

"You probably think it's stupid, I know, Zane said I was stupid for--"

Jeff was cut off as Marina leant in to press her lips against his own, only to bump noses with the man. Laughs left the two in embarrassment.

"I'm sorry." She apologized as she adjusted the pig nose/face she wore.

Jeff smiled, "Maybe we should talk about this when we don't look like actual psychopaths." He laughed as she giggled and nodded in agreement. He stood up and held out his hand as her smaller one fit into his own.

"Just to be clear, this isn't a bit for David's vlog is it?" He asked nervously only to receive a giggle as she tugged on his hand to where her dogs laid on the grass where the sprinkler sat.
