MARINA stared at the two males before her with a raised brow at the man before her, "You're going to what?" She asked nutter confusion, "You do know I have rehearsals, right?"

Jason looked to David and shrugged nonchalantly, "Yeah, but ah this is better. Content baby." He said as she gave him an amused look, "Come on, this will mean a lot to Jeff."

Marina looked over their shoulders seeing Jeff leant against his car and pouting at her. "I know I said I wanted to be a part of the vlogs, but I didn't think we'd be breaking some guy out of prison!"

David laughed, "We aren't breaking him out! He's being released today and Jeff wants to go pick him up." He explained as she sighed holding her dog closer to her, "You said you were free today so, join us for a ride to Sacramento and we'll buy you coffee for a whole month."

"What kind?" She asked immediately.

"Whatever you want, it's on me." David said.

Since filming for David's video for Jeff's surprise, Marina had quickly become friends with the group of young adults. It felt nice knowing she had a group of friends out in LA when she wasn't in NYC. After everything that had transpired the previous year, she was happy. Not that her friends back in NY didn't, she was in a way unhappy and homesick in California, whereas now within the short span of a few weeks, she didn't mind it.

"Dave, she has millions, don't think you buying Starbucks is gonna--"

"When do we leave?" She asked.

"Now."

Marina gnawed on her lip, "Give me ten minutes."

The two nodded and walked back over to Jeff.

"She coming?" He asked the two nodded. "Kinda nervous." He admitted referring to their trip to get his friend back.

"'Cause Marina's going?" Jason asked cluelessly.

"Yeah, Jase. Not because he's going to see his best friend since how ever long ago from prison." David said sarcastically, as Jason pressed his lips into a thin line.

"Well, that didn't answer my question." Jason laughed as did David.

Jeff sighed and admitted, "'Course I'm nervous around her. She's deadass my dream girl, fuck man." He blushed as the two males smirked to one another.

The three waited as the brunette came into view locking the door behind her.

"What about your dogs?" Jeff asked knowing he had to have a friend sit his own.

"One of my friend's said he'd come over and watch them." Marina said referring to Alfredo Flores, "He's in LA said he didn't mind, plus they like him and you said it's a day trip so . . ." She trailed off.

"Yeah we should be back before nine pm, it's good." Jason nodded.

"Yeah my buddy's sitting my dog too." Jeff said as they began to pile into his car.

"You have a dog?" She beamed, "What's it's name? Boy or girl? How old?" She questioned.

"Easy, we have a five hour drive." Jason said as she frowned sitting back next to David who smiled down at her.

"Nerf, he's a he, from what I know. And he's almost thirteen." He answered glancing back at her as she aw'd.

"I wanna meet him." She said.

"Let me know when, you wanna come over." He began but paused seeing David's goofy grin and Jason's smirk. "Or I can come over -- you know we'll just talk about this after." He said as she nodded.

"M'kay."

David pulled out his camera and began introducing the group that sat in the car around him, "So, Jeff what are we doing?"

Jeff glanced back as he spoke, "We're gonna go pick up my friend from jail." He said excitedly, as the three laughed, "He's been away for four years. He's rehabilitated, he learned his lesson . . ." He nodded smiling.

David laughed loudly.

"Why are you so . . . hesitant?" Marina asked peering her head over the driver's seat, his shoulder.

"I -- I'm partially the reason why he's in there." Jeff said as David continued to laugh at his friend's face. "Me and this guy have been through a lot of shit. Like legit best friends, we grew up together. And he went to jail . . . for a long time and I didn't and I made it in Hollywood and now I'm famous and rich and he's in --" He laughed, "In jail."

"That's so sweet, Jeff." Marina nodded with a tight lipped smile, Jeff looked over at her before the two bursted out laughing, Jason and David following in pursuit.

"DUDE I've never fucking seen a prison." David said as he looked at the lining of the jail. "It kinda looks like Coachella with the trees." He said as Marina looked at him with her head tilted.

"Just like Coachella, Dave." Jeff said sarcastically.

"Excuse me what time does Diplo come on?" Jason asked in a high pitched voice, the three laughed, "Hannah I think we're in the wrong place." He said leaning to Marina who giggled.

Shortly after the four approached the prison and awaited for Cody's ride. Seeing as though they couldn't enter the prison, they awaited at the drop point / pick up spot that was designated for the ex convicts rides.

"It'd be funny if I became best friends with him." Jason joked as he and David approached Jeff who was leant against the car talking to Marina.

"I think you're gonna." Jeff nodded.

"It'd be funny if he came over to my house, next to my kids." Jason added.

"This where you'll be if you don't continue daddy's legacy on YouTube." Marina joked as Jeff snickered.

"Yeah. But, no that's what I mean he's a really great guy, he's really likeable." Jeff said to them. "Like I wouldn't have brought you guys here if I didn't know that you guys are all gonna be best friends." jeff said as Marina rose a brow at him, "He likes your music."

"How . . ."

"Radios, Marina." Jeff smiled as she nodded slowly.

"He sticks his head out of his cell and can hear you belting from Canada." David joked as she rolled her eyes playfully at him.

"It is exciting we're gonna have another new friend David." Jason said turning to David.

"I'm pumped." He said tiredly without enthusiasm. "Oh, my God, here he is. Holy shit." David said as a white van approached them.

The van came to a halt as two figures exited the van alongside a few officers.

"Holy shit he looks like Jeff." Jason said upon seeing the tall man.

"Hope I don't see you again." Cody said to one of the guards before walking over to the four and hugging his childhood friend.

He introduced himself to the three new faces.

"Oh, shit Marina Parker?" She nodded shyly, "Aye yo, your music's good. I was telling Jeff he's damn lucky." Cody said as they entered the car.

Marina glanced to Jeff with raised brows he pursed his lips.

"What's your favourite song?" She asked with a kind smile.

"Bang bang." Jason joked.

"Yeah, actually." He laughed.

Soon after the four listened as Cody spoke to them about his time in jail. He was asked by Jason if he had any prison tattoos to which the muscular man removed his shirt displaying all of his art work.

"You got all those in prison?" Jason inquired as he nodded.

"Wow." Marina leant forwards seeing the ink, "Those are dope."

"Yeah, you got tattoos shorty?" Cody asked as Marina began showing her arms and inked hand to the older man. She began lifting her tank top slightly to show the ones on her rib cage.

"All right that's enough." Jeff said reaching over and pushing her hands away as they laughed.

Cody lifted his arm showing an abbreviation of sorts and pointed to it, showing the three in the back seat. "Got this. You fuckin' see it. YFSI; It's an abbreviation."

"For what?" David asked in confusion.

"You fuckin' see it."

The five laughed.

"Are you ever gonna go back to crime?" David asked as he put on his shirt and jacket.

"I ain't ever going back to prison, brother." He said threateningly, though jokingly.

"That's not a yes." Jason chimed in.

Shortly after the song Freedom by George Michael echoed through the car.

"Freedom!" Cody belted in pure happiness. Jeff smiled brightly and shook his hand, "FREEDOM!"

"Oh shit." Jason said as Jeff turned the volume down slightly.

"What?" He asked.

"Oh fuck." David said filming a cruiser now following them.

"Jeff slow down." Marina said just as flashing lights was seen behind them as well as sirens could be heard.

"Oh -- fuck." Jeff cursed as he pulled to the side.

Marina sat back in her seat as a officer approached Jeff's window.

"I'm on parole." Cody informed the officer, "I just got out."

"You were on parole step out of the car I'm gonna check you out. You don't got any weapons or drugs on you?" The officer questioned Cody.

Marina frowned, "What do we do?" She asked. David looked over at her and gave her a mischievous smile. "You fucking asshole." She smiled and sat back in her seat.

"Shh." Jason hushed them as they watched Cody be checked in front of the car.

"Oh, my God, oh my, God." David uttered as Cody was brought back in the car.

"Do me a favour, and put your hands in front of you." Cody did as instructed, "And raised them in the air like you just don't care because you got out --" Cody laughed nervously. "Freedom!"

The five laughed.

"Are you fucking serious right now?" He asked as they all laughed shaking their heads.

"He's gonna run into real cops now -- and think -- they're fucking with him." Jeff laughed.
