Jingyi has known war her entire life.

The illegitimate and half Water Tribe child of Fire Lord Ozai was born a member of the royal family and she was despised for it. Determined to gain her father's love, Jingyi spent years fighting for his praise - to be acknowledged as his daughter and sister of Zuko and Azula.

Years pass and believing that the Avatar's death will mean the betterment of the Fire Nation, Jingyi joins her half-brother on a journey to hunt down the Avatar, unaware of the trouble - both internally and externally - that laid ahead.

From Water Tribes to Air Temples, to the Fire Nation Palace and Ba Sing Se, Jingyi learns things she never knew about herself, the world, and the people around her - including a sarcastic boomerang-owning boy and a badass warrior with fans who teach her what real love is in midst of the Great War (even though they all tried to kill each other at first).
