Chapter-11

Sunday

"Aunt Laura?"

The lady who was preparing french toasts turned around, "Yes, dear?" After taking a leave yesterday, she was back to work this morning. It was half past eight and she had prepared most of the breakfasts, everything that the three brothers liked.

Taehyung peeked his head inside the kitchen, "Have you seen Jimin?" He asked, softly.

Aunt Laura shook her head, "No, dear." She then clicked her tongue, "Have you checked the library? Or perhaps he is still asleep."

Taehyung's eyebrows raised, "What? But he doesn't oversleep. Anyway, let me check once." he said and earned a nod from the lady.

He headed towards the stairs as he wondered whether the silver-haired male was still asleep. Jimin didn't have a habit of sleeping in, especially during holidays. It didn't matter if he had plans or not, he would wake up by eight and be downstairs, either by the pool or in his library. Sometimes, he would also be in the kitchen helping out aunt Laura in preparing the food.

Taehyung knocked on the door and waited for a moment before getting into the room. Even if Jimin was in his room, the last thing he wanted to see was his morning glory.

But fortunately, Jimin had his back pushed against the headboard of his bed while he gazed at the wall in front of him, he was all tangled up in his blanket. Taehyung cocked an eyebrow at the deeply-in-thought male as he approached the bed.

"Jimin-ah?" He called and sat by his side.

"Hmm?" The man hummed instead of replying, he looked like he was in a battle against his own thoughts that worried the younger.

"Is everything alright?" Taehyung asked, concerned, scanning his face. The man seemed worried. He wondered if the company was okay, they were doing very well and had many rivals which got him scared. Or maybe it was regarding Uncle Hajun? Was the old man okay? Many possibilities flooded into his mind, making him fear the worst.

Jimin nodded, "Why?" His tone was crisp, eyes not tearing away from the wall.

"Your expression says otherwise. Tell me, what happened!" Taehyung grew curious and whined, holding Jimin's arm and slightly shaking it to show his desperation.

Jimin sighed, "Why..." he trailed off and finally looked into his eyes and continued, "Why was he with Tan?" He asked with knitted eyebrows, his face showed irritation.

Taehyung looked dumbfounded at his question and then gave him a face of realization. He had almost forgotten about last night and here his cousin was, still dwelling on it as if it was a serious issue. He had scared the shit out of him.

He stared at him, "Seriously, Jimin?" He asked with squinted eyes and added, "Why does it matter anyway?"

Jimin whined, "I don't know." A sigh escaped his lips as he said, "I saw Jungkook last night, coming out of the mall. But I didn't know that Tan was hanging out with him."

"None of us knew that. Tan explained it, didn't he? He miscalled his name. And even if you had known, what would you have done, Jimin?" Taehyung questioned, crossing his arms over his chest with a stern look decorating his face.

Jimin didn't answer him, in fact, he couldn't. What could he do, anyway? He sighed, he didn't like the fact that he was dwelling on such trivial matters when he had a lot of significant things to work on. The strange feeling he had baffled him, he had never felt like that before. Just the thought of Tan and Jungkook being together and him getting Jungkook gifts, bothered him.

'Why?'

"Jimin." Taehyung dragged him out of his trance as he placed his hand on top of his leg.

"Do you have a crush on him?" His question caught Jimin off guard as his eyes widened and he harshly pushed his hand away.

"What the fuck? Are you crazy, Tae?" He asked in disbelief, the latter just sighed.

"It's better if you don't. Please, remember how Jungkook had belittled you." He muttered in a gentle tone, hoping that his cousin would understand him.

Jimin softly groaned, "Tae-"

"Even if it was not meant for you!" The latter cut him off, "That was still so wrong of him. He has no right to insult someone based on their occupation." Taehyung splashed the truth in a serious tone now and got up from the bed to make his way downstairs. He couldn't handle how Jimin still wanted to defend that student.

His words struck on Jimin like a lightning bolt, it was as if he was brought back to reality.

'Right. That kid isn't good.' He thought.

Silence engulfed the dining room as the cousins had their breakfast, Jimin was lost in thoughts again while Taehyung was still mad about what happened earlier, that left Tan in a confusion as he stole glances at them every now and then. His brothers were unusually quiet today and he wondered if they had a fight.

Usually, mornings at Elysian Villa would be like a market. They would keep chattering and laughing while they enjoyed their food but today was an exception.

Tan couldn't stand the silence so he cleared his throat and initiated a conversation, "Hyung." He called, gently.

Taehyung looked up at him and raised his eyebrows.

"Can we go to the night market later?" He asked, giving him a hopeful smile.

"Night market?" Taehyung asked, staring at him for a moment and then nodded, "Sure."

A wide smile appeared on Tan's face as he thanked him while bouncing his legs under the table, he averted his eyes towards Jimin who played with his food using the fork, not at all paying attention to the small conversation. He was trying to keep his mind busy with work matters.

"Jiminie hyung!" Tan's excited voice caught his attention and he gazed over at him, "You are coming, right?" he asked.

Jimin blinked at his sudden question, he was unaware of the topic so he arched an eyebrow at the guy, "Where?" He asked, clearing his throat.

"To the night market! Please, let's go." He pleaded, smiling adorably at him while also showing his puppy round eyes.

And for the first time today, he smiled at Tan. His lips curled up widely, popping out the little dimple on his right cheek while his eyes almost disappeared into his skin, "Let's go." He chuckled, making the youngest happy. Taehyung glanced at him and somewhere he was relieved to see Jimin smiling.

"Can I also invite Eunhyeok?" The mentioned person was Tan's best friend. They have been together since high school and there was no way he would go somewhere nice and wouldn't invite his buddy.

Taehyung hummed, "Why not?" he said, ruffling his little brother's hair. While Jimin planned on having fun and getting every unnecessary thing off of his mind tonight, only then he would be able to be effective.

He smirked unconsciously and locked eyes with Taehyung, who stared at him with an apologetic look. Jimin smiled at him a little and patted his shoulder, indicating that whatever happened was nothing to be worried about.

Yet Taehyung reciprocated the smile and mumbled to him, "I'm sorry, Chim."

Jimin shook his head slightly, "Nah, you are right. Thanks for stopping me from wasting my time on stupid things." Taehyung chuckled and nodded.

"What are you guys talking about? Tell me, too! Don't leave this kid out!" Tan yelled, pouting at the end making them laugh.

"Work things. Get ready around four, we will visit Uncle and then go to the market from there." Jimin announced as he picked up his empty plate and stood up to leave. Tan clapped his hands enthusiastically, what's better than having fun outside on a sunday, right?

The silver-haired man left the room while the two still ate their breakfast at a slow pace. Tan stole a slice of the kimchi pancakes from Taehyung's plate, earning a playful glare from him.

"Yah!" He heard Tan giggle and he added, "Let me have your egg roll then." He proceeded to grab the roll with his chopsticks from the younger's plate but Tan held the plate away, sticking his tongue out at him.

"No way." He giggled, making him mumble profanities at him which he, of course, didn't mind.

Taehyung rolled his eyes and ate the last two pieces of his pancake quickly before Tan could steal again. He pondered as he couldn't figure out why his food was always Tan's target but not Jimin's food. Even though what they all ate was the same most of the time.

'That's partial!' He thought, chugging down his coffee and unconscious about the question that was on the way to give him a stroke.

"Hyung? Can I also invite Jungkook?" Tan suddenly wondered out loud and his eyes sparkled when he realized that this time he didn't forget his name, his chest puffed out as he felt proud of himself, least bothered about his brother coughing profusely while resting his hand on his chest.

"W-What?" Taehyung exclaimed, looking at the guy with big eyes and furrowed brows. He couldn't believe his ears after all.

"Taehyungie hyung! I didn't make a mistake this time!" Tan abruptly stood up and danced around, swaying his arms up in the air and singing, "Jungkook, Jungkook, Jungkook~"

Taehyung's mouth dropped down on the floor, just an hour ago he had put some sense into Jimin, the first fan of Jeon Jungkook and now he had to repeat it again to this second fan. What was so great about Jeon Jungkook? Nothing.

Taehyung gritted his teeth, "Kim Tan! Sit down, immediately." He growled, scowling at the dancing guy. Tan halted his action and slowly turned to look at his brother, who had a face like thunder. He gulped visibly and plopped down on his seat with a nervous chuckle escaping his lips.

"H-Hyung..."

"Tan, I can't be detailed right now. But it's better if you stay away from Jungkook." Taehyung uttered in his raspy voice, indicating that he was being dead serious at this moment.

But his words put Tan into utter bewilderment as he tilted his head to the side and asked, "Why not? What's wrong with him?"

"You have enough friends, moreover, you have Eunhyeok. That's enough, you don't need this new guy." Taehyung said curtly, his eyes fixed on with that of his little brother's, who didn't seem content with his words.

"But why? Jungkook is a good guy! He is sweet, he is funny and he is someone you can be around anytime." Tan said with a sweet smile playing on his lips.

"Tan. Just do as I say. Everyone seems like a good person but they are not-"

This time, Tan cut him off, "Hyung. I know you are worried about me, but trust me, he is nothing like other people. He is a very genuine person, so don't worry, okay?" He defended his new friend in a soft voice, trying to calm down his anxious brother.

Taehyung sighed and ruffled his milk-tea hair, "Why don't you listen to me? I'm telling you, he is not-"

Tan was getting annoyed, he couldn't put his finger on why his brother was suddenly asking him to stay away from Jungkook, he was talking as if the guy was a walking life-threat. Albeit of hanging out with him only once, he could feel that Jungkook had a heart of gold.

"Enough, hyung." Tan stood up and puffed out a sigh as he looked at his brother with intense eyes, "I'm an adult. I can handle my life on my own. I can go out with anyone and be friends with anyone, it's my wish! I know you are worried but I can take care of myself, I don't want you to control my life." He sighed again seeing how Taehyung was surprised as well as a bit offended by his outburst.

"I'm sorry, hyung. But you haven't met Jungkook so you have no right to judge him." He uttered and quietly left the dining room without sparing a glance at him, leaving Taehyung frustrated in his seat.

How was he to tell his little brother that he and Falynn had already met Jungkook and so did Jimin? Whether Tan would even believe him if Jimin had told him how badly Jungkook, his so-called golden-hearted-fantastic person, had insulted his favorite person, Jimin?

Taehyung groaned, curling his hair through his fingers. Tan was stubborn and there was no way he would listen to him so easily.

'Jeon Jungkook...'

'This is it.'

Jin told himself for the second time as he stood in front of the polished door with subtle carvings. He had given it a lot of thought and had even taken some advice from his two old classmates from school that he just met for lunch earlier.

He sighed softly and pushed the door open, which revealed the family room with the most comfortable furniture, the memories captured into a picture displayed as a frame on the wall and some simply placed on the cabinets.

"Jin!"

And there was his father, sitting comfortably on the couch with the Knicks game playing on the television.

"Dad." He smiled softly, closing the door behind him and approached the old man, who signaled him to sit beside him. Jin took a seat and gazed at the television and Mr. Kim suddenly cheered.

"Knicks game, huh?" He said, chuckling.

Mr. Kim was a huge fan of the Knicks and nobody could divert his attention when the game was on, which gave Jin second thoughts about declaring his decision but he had to, no matter what.

"Yeah. How's your lunch with your friends?" He managed to ask, his eyes still stuck on the huge screen.

A wide genuine smile appeared on Jin's face as he relived the past two hours that he spent with his two old friends over lunch. He was happy to see their bond as strong as it used to be, nothing had changed except for their physical development. It was the same never ending laughter and love that had engulfed the atmosphere.

"I had a lot of fun! I was very happy to see them again after a long time. Dad! Have you seen Junho? He has grown tall and has gotten bulky. Remember how skinny and lifeless he looked back then?" Jin rambled, telling his father everything about his friends. Mr. Kim had become a passive listener, not like Jin was bothered about it.

"I thought you would be back home late today." Mr. Kim finally spoke as Jin finished his stories and sighed.

"Yeah, we had some other plans but Minhwan had an emergency so we canceled." Jin said, reaching over to grab a cookie from the plate that he had just noticed after being in the room for a whole ten minutes.

"Dad?" Jin softly called, munching on his cookie as he glanced at his father who was very much indulged in the game but still hummed as a response.

"I have to tell you something...regarding the company." He muttered and puffed out a sigh. Upon the mention of work and the firm tone of his son, Mr. Kim dragged away his eyes from the screen and looked at Jin with concerned eyes.

"What is it, son?" He questioned and watched Jin shift on his seat as he wiped off the crumbs on his lips and cleared his throat while he mentally tried to calm his nerves.

"I want to join the company tomorrow." He declared. He had planned on announcing it very confidently and with a bright ambitious smile on his face but all that crumpled down as his voice came out quivering and that awkward smile showed how awfully nervous he was.

He was not ready to work yet, It hadn't even been a week since he came back from California. His deal was to work after a month of his arrival and he had a lot of plans in his to-do list but he was sacrificing them all for his family's sake. It hurt him to see his Dad suffering, the stress he went through as the owner of the company and his brother, who would be mostly worrying about their father rather than work.

He wanted to share their burden.

"Jin-ah, you still have a month left before you join." Mr. Kim said, placing a hand on top of Jin's shoulder but he shook his head.

"I know, but I want to start working tomorrow." He replied, giving him an assuring smile unaware that to his father, he looked totally nervous.

"You don't have to sacrifice your happiness just for our sake, son. I told you, I will take care of myself and...and you can ask Sejun, I have not been working much as I used to. So, enjoy your days." Mr. Kim uttered, patting his cheek softly but Jin was stubborn. Now, no matter what they said, he was definitely going to join.

"Dad, please, let me work with you. And how can I even enjoy it when Jungkook has classes and my friends have work, I wanna work too. I want to be busy, I want to contribute positively to our company. Please." He pleaded, pouting and grabbing the old man's hand and clutching onto them.

"Are you sure?" He asked after a moment of silence.

Jin gulped, he had contemplated a lot in the past few days but still somewhere within him, he had an unknown fear. He slowly let go of his father's hand as he looked down. What if he failed? Did he deserve to be the Vice President of K group? Did he have the courage to handle all the work and face every obstacle that came his way?

"What?" Jungkook shrieked as he looked over at his friend as they took a stroll around a park, enjoying the starry sky and the gentle breeze rustling through the trees while they sipped on the hot coffee that they bought from the stall outside the park.

"You said no?" Jungkook yelled at him, as he practically faced him with a baffled expression, unable to believe that his friend had chickened out.

Jin sighed, hugging himself, "I did. Initially." He added with a stoic face. Jungkook had not even let him finish and had started being a drama queen- a habit of his that Jin hated the most.

Jungkook arched an eyebrow, "Initially? So, you agreed later." he said, stuffing his hands inside the pockets of his red jacket.

Jin hummed, "Yeah." A sigh escaped his lips before he continued, "I was nervous, I still am. But I gotta face it. I have to stand on my feet and work. But it's such a huge responsibility...but that can't stop me from supporting my own family. All my friends are working, I want to work too."

Jungkook smiled widely at him as he patted his back proudly, "Hyung, I'm happy about your decision. All the hard work done in California must be paid off now."

Jin smiled a little, "I hope it will be." He mumbled, looking up at the mesmerizing view of the night sky. He had to do this, he had to make his Dad proud. All that hard work had to be worth it, he hadn't come this far just to sit in a corner and watch his family break their backs.

The raven-haired male stared at him, "You will be the best vice president ever!" Jungkook exclaimed in a baby voice, bouncing on his spot and cheering for his friend, holding onto his coffee cup tightly, making sure he wouldn't spill it while jumping.

His words made Jin chuckle as he looked at him, "Thank you, Kook." He murmured, ruffling his hair once the boy stood still and flashed him a gleaming smile.

"Just don't be nervous. Give it your best!" Jungkook snaked his arms around Jin's wide shoulders from the side and hugged him.

He slurped his drink, "Mhm. Enough about me, tell me how it went with your new friend-nuh-uh, your crush, Tan?" Jin smirked, wiggling his brows at his friend, who began blushing the moment Tan's name was mentioned. Just thinking about last night made him giddy.

He giggled, "It was amazing." He mumbled, fiddling with the cup as he looked down shyly.

Jin cooed at how adorable he was and nudged him, "Yeah? Did anything happen?" He asked.

Jungkook smiled, "I had to control myself everytime our hands brushed against each other. I will tell ya, the butterflies fluttered too much this time." he pouted while Jin laughed loudly.

"Cute."

"Hyung, he is so cute! He reminds me of those little soft teddy bears, and the way he dresses and walks, oh my god! Hyung, he can be a model in your company! And his smile, uff! He is so dreamy...Kim Tan is so dreamy!" Jungkook squealed like a fangirl and fanned himself as he recalled Tan's focused face while playing games that made him look sexier.

Jin chuckled and shook his head lightly, Jungkook reminded him of his college days. Back then, many students were after him thanks to his charming personality and a million dollar worth face. Among them was one who had fallen for his drunken state, the flushed cheeks, droopy eyes and slurred words spitting out of his mouth while he was staggering around.

He scoffed slightly, erasing that embarrassing moment from his mind as he diverted his attention to his young friend.

"He told me we would hang out again!" Jungkook squealed, throwing his hands up in the air and thanking the universe for bringing such an angel into this shitty world. Jin chuckled, genuinely happy for the boy.

"Hmm, I can't wait to be his boyfriend..." Jungkook dreamily muttered, pacing with a bounce.

Jin gagged on his coffee, almost spilling some of the liquid on his jacket as he coughed, "W-What?" he managed to ask, wiping the liquid off of his mouth.

Jungkook was indifferent and continued to fantasize, "I shouldn't ask him out, right? I should wait for him to do it!"

Jin peered at him in disbelief and quickly grabbed his wrist to stop him, "Hold on, kid." Jungkook turned to look at him, "Go easy. Aren't you rushing things up?" he asked, worriedly.

The latter scoffed, "What do you mean?"

Jin rolled his eyes, "Huh? Hey, you only hung out once and had little interactions here and there which he doesn't remember at all! And you are talking about dating? You don't even know him properly, Jungkook." he said, shaking his head.

Jungkook snorted and waved his hand, "I know him very well-"

But he cut him off, "Yeah, his likes and dislikes aren't what I'm talking about here! You don't know him personally, and for sure, nobody will open up to anyone or show their real self so soon. It takes a lot of time to adjust and be comfortable with your new friend." he scolded the young guy, who stared at him for a while and groaned.

He knew Jungkook very well, if the guy liked something he would use every means to acquire it. Even if that was ridiculous.

"Ugh, I hate the term friend." he curled his fist and threw the half empty cup into the nearby trash can, losing the desire to drink that coffee.

Looking at the deep pout on his cute face, Jin couldn't help but feel guilty about his tone. But there was no way he would let Jungkook hurt someone and hurt himself then. He sighed and called him softly.

Jungkook whined, "Hyung, you know he is my crush!" he crossed his arms over his chest, the last he wanted was for his best friend to stand against his plans. He could only count on Jin with this because Hoseok would only ask him to give up for good.

"All I'm telling you is, don't do anything that may jeopardize your friendship. Be careful." Jin tenderly spoke, trying to make him understand his point, "Jungkook, just be happy with how things are right now. If anything is bound to happen, it will happen." He encouraged him as he wrapped his palms on the latter's cheeks.

Jungkook looked up at him, he could see the concern in his dark brown eyes, his warm touch soothed him but he didn't fall for his words. He was tired of all those stupid blind dates he had been attending. After spending time with Tan, he realized that he wanted to be with a person he really liked and was already familiar with. Tan was so much like him, there were many things that they shared interest in.

Why would he choose some stranger to spend the rest of his life with when he can do it with the guy he had a crush on? Sure, Tan might not be interested in him right now but he can get Tan to see him in a romantic light, right?

Jungkook smiled, "But for things to happen, something should be initiated, right?" he asked.

Jin arched an eyebrow at him, about to ask what he meant when Jungkook declared, "Okay! I have decided." he chirped, giggling.

Jin was baffled, "What?" To him, Jungkook was full of surprises which was actually a disadvantage to him because whatever Jungkook did, he was usually the one to deal with the consequences, which wasn't something extreme by the way. He just had to conclude the plans professionally.

'I hope it's nothing absurd.' Jin wished.

Jungkook's smile soon turned into a smirk as he said, "Kim Tan will definitely be my boyfriend." he blew the strand of hair that fell on his face smugly. He was sure that he would be successful in this and soon Tan would be entirely his.

Jin's mouth hung open, shock evident on his face as he stammered, "W-What?" He tried to speak but ended up fumbling with words that made him look so dumb. He licked his lips and heaved out a sigh, "Jung-Jungkook, what are you gonna do?" he asked sternly but only received a shrug from him.

"You will see."

Jin tousled his hair in frustration, whatever Jungkook's plan was, he knew that it would definitely put him in a difficult spot. The guy was stubborn and loved to ignore his opinions and just went according to his own plans. He didn't want Jungkook to hurt himself and his friend.

He sighed heavily, "Just don't force your feelings on him, that's unethical." he muttered, his tone tinged with a plea.

The loud bang of the door being shut startled Tan as he lay on his bed, scrolling through his posts on his personal social media account. He had two accounts, one was a private one that only contained his few close friends and cousins, where he would post even the silliest pictures while the other account was public and had a few posts of him and the places he had visited.

Taehyung grunted as he sat on the edge of the bed, caressing his stomach. As planned, the three had visited the most popular night market.

Tan's friend Eunhyeok couldn't join due to some personal issues but that didn't stop Tan from having fun especially since Jimin kept him occupied, buying him few foods that he laid his eyes on and totally ignoring Taehyung, who stuffed his mouth with every food out there, resulting in him suffering from food poisoning.

"Hyung! Check this out." Tan jumped on the bed to his side as he showed his recent posts that had many lovely comments under it, mostly from their Uncle. It was a picture of Taehyung feeding him pork belly, and it turned out to be a very cute picture.

"Oh, no. Oh, no. Oh, no!" Taehyung panicked as he ran into the washroom, his left hand placed on his mouth trying to block its way. Tan stared at his disappearing figure with a poker face and rolled his eyes.

"Who told him to eat so much?" He muttered and focused back on his phone. This was the third time Taehyung had used the washroom, he had low spice tolerance yet he ate a lot of spicy foods. He had tried to stop him but the man was in a totally different world that time.

The door to his room clicked open, his eyes quickly fixating to the direction as he watched Jimin walk in, sporting white shorts and light blue sleeveless vest while he typed something on his phone with a frown decorating his face.

Jimin had surprisingly enjoyed the night to the fullest with him, considering how he was in a bad mood at home. Constantly mumbling to himself, as if he was convincing himself to believe or remember something important. He seemed strange to Tan because usually on Sundays, Jimin would be upbeat.

"You didn't sleep yet?" Jimin asked, softly as he locked his phone and tossed it on the bed.

Tan smiled, "I was waiting for you-and now, we will have to wait for Taehyungie hyung." He sighed.

Jimin climbed on the bed and slouched, "Why? Where is he?" he asked.

Tan cocked an eyebrow at the direction of the washroom and just then they heard the sound of the toilet flushing, Jimin hummed and chuckled.

"He has no control over himself." he uttered to the boy as they watched the door of the washroom being opened and Taehyung's disheveled state on display had them concerned. The man slowly staggered towards the bed and plopped down, looking like a lost puppy, catching his breath.

Jimin pursed his lips as he crawled towards him and snaked an arm around him, "Hey, how do you feel?" he enquired in a gentle tone to soothe him down.

Taehyung nodded, "Kinda better. I need some water." he licked his lips to hydrate them, he felt lifeless.

Tan tossed his phone aside and stood up, "Yeah, I will get it for ya." He jumped to the rescue and ran out of the room to get his brother some water and bananas, to make him feel at ease with his nausea.

"God bless you, child." Taehyung mumbled, surprised at the gesture of his little brother. Jimin bit his lips to hold himself back from laughing at his cousin's dramatic self even in this situation.

He then cleared his throat and massaged his shoulders, "You look torn out."

Taehyung groaned, "My throat is burning, dude. I feel awful."

"Well, this is a lesson for you. Do not do something that you can't handle." Jimin patted his cheek from behind as he gave him a mocking smile to which Taehyung just sent a glare.

He sighed thinking about the next day, "I hope I'll be better tomorrow. I have to work towards the upcoming summer collection." he threw his head back, closing his eyes. He had to run his brain more than it does from tomorrow, this year's collection had to be better than the previous one and the most unique among the competitors.

"Oh, lord! It's Monday already?" Jimin gasped and shouted, falling back on the bed and kicking the air. He was having so much fun today but of course, work had to destroy it.

Taehyung blinked and with a scowl, he turned around to stare at his cousin, "What are you upset about? Your soul loves working unlike us. I can already picture you waking up cheerfully and belly dancing your way to work." He teased, rolling his eyes.

Jimin kicked his arm, "Whatever." he heaved out a sigh, "I just...I had so much fun today. My mind was filled with nothing but the present, I was living in the moment, Tae. No unnecessary dramas, no nonsensical thoughts...nothing." He expressed with a sad smile lingering on his lips. As much as he loved working, he wanted some time off to get back to his usual self.

Just who knew that attending a single match would flip his world upside down? Only if he had not gone that day, he wouldn't have met Jungkook and gotten attracted to him. He was doing fine, all buried in his work but that kid occupied his mind. There was something about Jungkook that was hard to get him off of his head.

His train of thoughts halted when he felt a hand on his thigh, "You will be back on track, Chim. You just got distracted for a while, you will be fine tomorrow." Taehyung assured him, smiling broadly at him. Jimin reciprocated the smile and squeezed his hand, agreeing with him.

He had to forget everything that had happened and focus on his life motives, nothing was more important than that. He had to get back his real happiness, he mentally noted it in his to-do list.

"Here you go, monster Kim." Tan entered the room, holding a tray containing a jug of water and some bananas in a plate.

Taehyung raised an eyebrow at the nickname, "Thanks, you reincarnated devil." He responded with a sarcastic smile playing on his lips.

Jimin broke into fits of laughter hearing that, he called Tan to sit by him so that they could see the posts he had published earlier. While Taehyung sighed in relief, his stomach slowly went back to normal.

"See, even Falynn noona commented that I looked handsome." Tan flexed, grinning from ear to ear.

At the mention of her name, Taehyung suddenly remembered how he had to tell her the new tea-Jungkook and Tan's friendly date. He wanted to call her in the morning, but the lady had her phone switched off-well, another way of telling everyone to leave her alone on a sunday.

The first thing he would do after leaving home tomorrow would be, telling her every detail about everything that had happened. He could already visualize her fuming and wanting to hunt down Jungkook and squish him into a barrel.

A smile formed on his lips as he imagined it, 'She is a dangerous woman.'

Okay, how are you all?

And, I named this chapter after To-do lists, because all four characters have something to do. Jin: to do his best as the vp in his company, Jimin: to focus on important things than Jungkook. Tae: to tell Falynn, the tea. Kook: to make Tan see him in a romantic way.

Now, how's the chapter? Any constructive criticism is welcome!
