"Hurry up Noor, I have to show you something!"
"Hiccup! My feet are still hurting from the long hiking trip you wanted to take last night-"
"Yeah, you didn't even last long because when we finally took a 'break'- it technically was just you randomly falling asleep out of nowhere!" She threw the boy a small glare.
"This girl needs her beauty sleep! So if you take it away from her, you face consequences..." They both laughed as the memory from last night rushed back to them.
"This is my life now!" She exclaimed, falling against a tree- dramatically placing a hand on her forehead. He stops and looks at his best friend with a deadpan expression, rolling his eyes.
"I have climbed this hill and now I will die upon it."
"Shut up. We've only been hiking for twenty minutes." She let out a fake cry and fell to the ground. He huffed and watched as her eyes started to drop, and let out a loud yawn.
"Guess we'll wait till tomorrow then" He said with a chuckle, sitting beside her and he let himself fall asleep with his head on her shoulder.
"Yeah, yeah whatever" They continued their walk and Noor's name started to be called.
"Noor!" Both of them sighed. They both were the age of 12 and so that started to take on responsibilities. Mostly for Hiccup, since he was the chief's son.
"Sorry Hic, I gotta go- it's my mum. Since this morning, my parents have been acting weird and polite to me... I honestly think they did something or are going to do something" Hiccup laughs, as she smiles with a chuckle.
"Well keep me updated, alright?" Hiccup assures, and she nods running off back to the village.

"You told me to meet you here... W-what's up?" Hiccup asks, trying to hide his nervousness from her. He saw that her face looked tear stained and depressed.
"Hey, what's wrong? What happened?!" He urgently asks, engaging her into a hug. He pulls away, keeping his hands set on her arms.
They were technically born best friends. Only he was born a couple hours before she was. Their mom and dads were best friends, so then they hung out literally 24/7. As they started to grow up, there wasn't a chance you never saw one without the other.
She would make fun of him all the time, since she was like two inches taller than him and how scrawny he was. But that only made him make fun of her platinum blonde hair and big eyes. So they perfectly balanced each other out.
One knew everything about the other. There was a time that they got into a huge fight about Hiccup liking Astrid- and Noor didn't like how he liked someone that was rude to him. But no one knew the real reason why they weren't talking to each other, but it was only a week till they started talking again.
The truth was. Hiccup never romantically liked Astrid, he realized he actually really liked Noor. It was their eleventh birthday together, and it was the night before they secretly had their own birthday to themselves.
The Great Hall was completely empty and it was the middle of the night. They had their own small cake with two candles. They sat across from each other, and waited till the clock struck midnight.
Both their heads laid on their arms lazily and their eyes didn't stop gazing at the others. It was then, when the big bell rang and they officially turned 11 and blew out their candles.
"I wish to stay with you forever, Hic"
Those words stuck with him for a solid 5 seconds. And that's when he knew, that it was the same exact wish he granted.
"I promise you Nil, that I will never leave your side"
But some promises are meant to be broken.
"I'm leaving Berk"
"W-what?! Why?!" He asks, not being able to believe the words coming out of her mouth.
"My grandfather... He's sick and lives across the sea, my parents told me this afternoon" He shook his head, as she kept her head down. They both tried to hold in tears.
She didn't want to go, but she knew she had too.
He didn't want her to go, but he knew she had too.
"When are you leaving?" He asks in a whisper, watching as her movement stays still.
"In two weeks" It came out as a shakey mumble, but she calmed her breath as best she could.
"Are you coming back?... How long are you gonna be gone?"
"I don't know" She mumbled, starting to play with hands and crack her knuckles.
Neither said a word after that. He pulled her to another hug and she wrapped her arms around him. She clutched his shirt, sobbing into his shoulder. As he tried holding on to his tears, he soon let them out- crying on to hers.
Knowing they only had two weeks left with each other, they made sure to make it the best. Some of the things she wanted to do was dangerous.
The first time coming face to face with a dragon, Hiccup wanted to scream and run away. But with him clutching on Noor's arm, as he stood behind her she stalked forward closer towards the dragon cage.
She was always really curious about dragons, but Hiccup never saw how she could be. His father told him that one killed his mother, so dragons were never an interesting topic to talk about for him. But he'd let her rant on and on about them forever, cause she'd get so excited about it.
She held a sword and shield with her, with the green eyed boy staying back, and ran behind a barrel watching afraid for the fearless girl. The cage opened and a monstrous nightmare walked out. Noor gulped, clutching on the sword and shield.
Hiccup couldn't help but cover his eyes, slightly peaking through his fingers. He tried so hard to stop her from doing this. But this was something she really wanted to do, and he couldn't stop her. He felt like dying right then and there as the dragon started to circle her.
She knew the dragon sensed the fear that was on her, so she steadily calmed herself down. When she just moved an inch, the dragon growled. Smoke coming out of nostrils as it was about roar.
"It's okay" She whispered, slowly setting the shield and sword down on the floor. She sat up, brushing off her skirt and looked the dragon in the eyes. The dragons eyes slowly dilated, and relaxed.
She took a step closer towards the dragon and put her hand up. She squeezed her eyes shut and prayed the dragon wasn't gonna eat her.
A gasp was let out from Hiccup and herself as the dragon pressed its snout on her palm. She opened her eyes and let a breathless laugh out, and softly petted the dragons snout. She looked over at Hiccup and laughed at his shocked- frozen face.
"Hiccup come here!" Hiccup slowly walked up to the dragon and girl, the dragon seeming curious about the small young boy.
"H-hey" Noor smiled and grabbed his hand, lifting it up calming towards the dragon. Just like her, he squeezed his eyes shut and looked away- afraid the dragon will eat him.
"Hiccup it's okay" She said with a chuckle, as he opened his eyes as the dragons snout leaned on his palm. Hiccup smiled, and let out a shakey breath.
"Thank the gods" He whispers, before petting the dragon softly. He glanced over at Noor, and she was already looking at him with a sad smile.
"What's up? Is there something on my face?" She lets a small snort come out, making both the boy and dragon surprised.
"When I leave... Can you promise me to show berk, dragons aren't vicious creatures but are misunderstood living things" Hiccup was going to protest but she cut him off, stepping closer to him and started to pet the montrous nightmare.
"Hiccup- are you not seeing what I'm seeing? This is a montrous nightmare for crying out loud! This is a dragon that's known to be extremely aggressive and ferocious towards Vikings and we're petting one! Hiccup, I need you to understand how life changing this can be..."
Hiccup stood frozen, before looking at the dragon again and back at her. With a sigh and a smile, he nods and she mirrors him with a relieved sad smile. He knew she wanted to do it with him. She would of loved to live that life out with him, to see everyones face when they see her and Hic train a dragon themselves.
But then Vikings voices were heard, and the dragon quickly became alarmed. Due to the fact the dragon wasn't chained or anything, it burned the chains that trapped the dragons in the arena and flew out. Screaming was heard as the dragon escaped and Hiccup and Noor looked at each other.
"We have to get out of here!"
And the day finally came... She had to leave.
It was a dark cloudy day, and a large boat was at the docks. Everything about Lennox's family was packed and on the boat. Their house is empty and quiet.
Harbeer, Dakota, Noor and Adonis Lennox say goodbye to Chief Stoick and Hiccup, his son. Noor couldn't bring herself to say anything to Hiccup, so all she did was give him a big hug.
No words were heard except five from her.
They pulled away from the hug, and Noor kept her hand on his cheek. She let a tear go down her cheek, and she quickly pressed a soft kiss on his lips. He was taken aback, and she noticed but laughed. They looked at each other for a second but he saw a fresh scar through her right eyebrow on her face. It wasn't the one that was big and on her neck- it made his eyes slightly furrow.
He was about to ask about it but the family started to get in the boat. Making her slowly follow before turning around.
"You better not forget me, Hic" And she got on the boat.
"I promise... I won't..." He promised, but she didn't hear.
He watched as she stood at the very edge on the boat, waving furiously goodbye to him as she slowly disappeared in the fog.
And then...
10 years later goes by...
I guess 10 years can change people's whole lifestyle.
