"LET ME GO!" Grimmel ignores Noor, the claws of the deathgripper on her shoulders tightening. She winces, before they went through clouds, high up in the sky.

"I just need to have a small chat with you" That being said, she's suddenly thrown to the ground. Her whole body hurts and she's so weak. It hurts for her to try to get up.

"Noor, Noor, Noor..." He shakes his head, muttering Noor's name over and over. She holds her side and slowly gets up with tears brimming her eyes.

"Oh no, it's kicking in huh?" She winces, trying to stand straight as he chuckles.

"Look. I only got you, to make you into my weapon and I told you to find peace. But everyone here- is keeping you from doing just that"

"Those people- are my family" She shuddered with a glare.

"And that's why I'm killing you. Just keeping you alive will back me up. And I'm gonna kill your little friends- your family- all the dragons- and all of Berk..." Noor held the dagger in her hand tightly, as she stood straighter.

"Eunoia... And Hiccup... Then I'll become known and feared in the whole world"

"No..." She whispers, clutching the dagger just as she was about to charge at him, a nightfury tackled Grimmel.

"Hiccup?" She smiled, and Hiccup jumped off of Toothless immediately going to her.

"Here" He makes her put her hand out, and he puts the clear liquid syringe in her palm. She looks up to meet his eyes and he smiles weakly.

"Hiccup-"

"Get out of here" He kisses her cheek and turns around to face Grimmel.

Toothless was roaring in his face before the deathgripper tackled him, releasing Grimmel. "What's your plan?"

"Lavender is in every single poison, and Grimmel's allergic. The deathgripper has one injected into his neck, so all I need to do is get it and stab Grimmel in the neck with it" She looks at the deathgripper, seeing the purple in a tube in their neck.

"You know I was planning on killing you later, but I guess I can get it over with" Grimmel says darkly, taking his sword out. Hiccup takes his inferno out and flares it.

"AHH!" Grimmel shouts, coming forward to attack Hiccup. She quickly back away as their swords clash together.

Noor sees Toothless has got the deathgripper pinned to the ground, his mouth open and glowing. With the last force and push she got up, and sprinted towards them.

The deathgripper growls viciously, almost shoving Toothless to the ground but he keeps him down. Noor puts one hand on his scales and the other around the tube in his neck.

"It's okay" She whispers, making eye contact with the dragon as he eyes her movements still thrashing around. She winces as she uses all her strength to pull it out.

The deathgripper roared, shoving Toothless off him and threw Noor far. She was on the edge of the cliff, and she stood up.

She watched Hiccup as he had his sword pointed at Grimmel's neck not far from her. Then, she suddenly was forcefully hit with the deathgrippers tail.

"AHH!" Hiccup head quickly looked to see, Noor falling off the cliff.

"Toothless!" The dragon looked at his owner and saw what he meant, shooting a plasma blast at Grimmel making him fly backwards. Hiccup ran and slid on the grass, pinning the sword in the ground as he hung on.

He hung off the cliff, holding tightly on to the sword. He quickly grabbed Noors hand before she fell farther, as she hanged with tears brimming her eyes.

"I got the poison" His eyes brightened, as he saw the poison tube on the ground beside his sword.

"Okay, we need to get up" He sword suddenly moved, and his eyes widened knowing it wasn't gonna hold and her hand around his wrist tightened.

"Hiccup-"

"No, come on" He mutters frustratedly, tears starting to brim his eyes. He lost so much strength, he couldn't lift the both of them up.

"Toothless!" He didn't hear Hiccup, trying to fight off both Grimmel and the deathgripper.

"Fuck"

"Hiccup!" He looked down, seeing as her eyes showed sadness and she gave a weak smile.

"You can let go" He shook his head furiously.

"No!" He choked, again trying to get both of them up but the sword moved again, making his heart sink.

"It's okay" She whispered and he shook his head, looking down at her.

"No it's not- I promised- I promised! I promised I would never leave you"

"It's okay- it's okay"

"N-no I can't! I can't let you go-"

"I still hope it's you and me
in the end" He mutters to her, as she nods.

All that they went through flashed past their eyes. And all of it was gonna disappear.

He was gonna lose his best friend. Lover. The owner of his heart.

They were each other's first kiss.

She was the one that got him to train a dragon. He lost the girl for 10 years and it destroyed him.

Imagine what forever would do?

That's when he remembered the last birthday they spent together. It was when they were 12.

And they made the same wish they made the year before that.

"I wish to stay with you forever, Hic"

"I promise you Nil, that I will never leave your side"

But some promises aren't kept.

He remembers the day she said she was leaving. He tried hiding it but he was devastated. And when he saw her again 10 years later... He became just in love with her like when they were kids.

That's when his father's word rings in his head.

"With love comes loss, son.

It's part of the deal"

Hiccup holds her wrist firmly, as hers was loosely around his wrist. Hiccup looked into her pleading icy soft eyes. He looked at the scars on her cheeks and bruises on her neck, and the -used to be long platinum blonde hair, now short, dirty and messy.

"Right now. Right here." He looks at her, as she speaks softly. He could hear her voice cracking, and her breaths becoming more and more choked. It was beginning to be hard for her to breathe because of the poison.

"Only a few will know our story changed the world forever" Tears started to fall down both their cheeks and he took a deep breath.

"I love you" She says, weakly smiling.

"I love you" He tells her, tightening his grip on her wrist. She noticed and released her grip on his wrist, making his hand start to lose grip on hers.

"No, please no"

"I'm Pansy! I think I've heard about you..." Noor's little sister eyes Hiccup suspiciously, squinting her eyes. It was weird. Hiccup has never felt so threatened by a child.

"Oh your my big sister's childhood fat crush!" Noor's eyes widened in surprise and blushes, and Hiccup does too but glanced at her a little teasingly.

"Yeah she talked about you all the time-"

"Okay thank you Pansy!"

"It's okay" She whispered, before her delicate hand fell through his.

"NOOR!" He watched as her figure disappeared in the clouds.

He lost her. And this time... she's not gonna come back ten years later.

Hiccup was bored. So he went looking for Noor, his best friend. His eyes brightened seeing as she was sitting on a cliff, her feet hanging.

He would have scared her but he honestly didn't want to get hit, so he decided against it.

"Whatcha thinking about?" Hiccup asks her, as plops beside her. She was looking for off into the sunset.

"I..." For a 10 year old, she thought about a lot actually.

"I felt like Romeo and Juliet could've handled it better" He looks at her with an eyebrow raised and chuckles. And she looks at him before laughing too.

"Want to go rennact Romeo and Juliet in the Great Hall?"

"Let's do it"

He grew angry. Hearing Grimmel's battlecry and Toothless roar. It's all his fault.

He started all of this. He killed Noor.

He still remembered the day they first interacted after ten years. Just like it was yesterday...

"There's only one other person that could do that... Who are you?" We start to circle each other as Toothless comes beside me, growling at her and the other dragon, Nightflare.

"Not until you tell me who you are. Your friend here was the one that tried messing with my dragon"

"He was just being an idiot" The girl under the helmet laughs.

And the day she first recognized him.

"But who are you?" She asks, ducking her head a little to try to see me under the helmet. But I only laugh, and lift my helmet up before fully taking it off my head.

"Now I feel like we should take ours off" I heard Snotlout mutter, before everyone else starts taking off their helmets.

She gasps, and takes a step back. I run my hand through my auburn brown hair, and she takes a step forward towards me.

She sucked in a breath, before Toothless came behind me eyeing the girl.

"Hiccup..."

And the long waited days for her to wake up in New Berk. At first she had no idea she was in Berk- and didn't even recognize Valka.

But when she saw Gobber... She was so happy. And realizing it was Valka- it made her feel so moved. And then she saw Hiccup... And she just couldn't believe it and ran into his arms.

"And you have a dragon! I always knew you'd get one at some point!" Gobber was so happy to finally see her and she truly couldn't believe it.

"It's Noor Lennox, of course she has her own dragon." At first she recognized the voice a little, but it was deeper than usual. She eyed the guy who said that, wearing full black dragon armor.

"Don't worry, I'm not a demon-" Noor's breathing suddenly stops as he lifts the facing covering, helmet pulling down a thin mask... Revealing Hiccup.

"See? Just a guy"

"Hiccup?" She whispers, feeling tears start to well up and the corners of her lips lift. He fully takes off his whole helmet, his soft messy auburn brown hair falling out. His green eyes pierced her grey ones, and he grinned.

"Missed me?" She makes a sheepish laugh and shakes her head.

"This isn't real" She whispered, as he spread his arms out with a nervous grin.

"Nice to see you too, Nil" She excitedly let out a squeal and ran into his arms. He almost fell over dropping his helmet on the ground but he happily caught her, and she wrapped her legs around his waist.

"Oh the GODS! It's really you!" I shouted, hugging him tightly and he hugged me tightly back. Neither wanted to let go, they finally felt at ease with themselves in each other's arms.

"It's really me- and it's really you! I can't believe it"

"Y-yeah" I unwrap my legs around him, and hug around his waist tightly keeping my head on his chest. Tears start to fall down her cheeks, and he quickly grew concern cupping her face with his hands.

"Hey- hey, it's okay don't cry" She lightly chuckles, as he gently wipes the tears.

"It's okay- they're happy tears" She sniffled, making him smile widely and pulling her into another big hug.

"It's been 10 years"

"10 bloody years"

The night he lost her and she was kidnapped. The dreadful day he asked her to marry him. And the also the night she doubted she was going to make it. And he believed she was still going to be by his side at the end of this.

"Wait what? Noor your going to survive this-" She suck in a breath, grasping his hand again.

"And if I don't..." His eyes look about to tear up but no tears fall.

"Just know... I'll always- always love you" We stop and face each other holding hands. He shakes his head and looks at her.

"And you'll be alive to tell me that again"

"Hiccup-" A loud roar and boom was heard and we both ducked.

"Their back" She whispers, as they hide behind a huge tree trunk. He hooks his arm around her waist, grabbing her hand with his other hand. She laid her head on his chest, hearing his heart thump, squeezing her eyes shut scared.

"Noor..." She looked up at him, and he looks behind the tree just in case. She sat up to face him and he looked back at her seriously.

"You need something to look forward to... A reason to fight" She grew confused but nodded.

"Alright..."

"When we survive..." He calmed his breaths looking at her, tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear.

"Will you marry me?"

And now she'll never get to answer that question. Because of Grimmel.

Then, with all his strength, Hiccup let go of the sword and placed his hands on the edge. He lifted himself with a groan, and slowly got up. He grabbed the tube of poison with a deathly glare at Grimmel.

He didn't even say anything but take his sword out of the ground and walk towards Grimmel. Toothless saw him and his eyes widen.

He's never seen Hiccup so mad.

"I lost her because of you!" Grimmel turned around at his voice but was only shoved to the ground by Hiccup quickly.

Hiccup waisted no time, crouching down and inject the poison in his neck.

"What-" Grimmel paled as Hiccup stabbed him in the neck with the poison syringe.

"AUGH!" Hiccup got up, watching as Grimmel frantically took the syringe out of his neck in panic.

"You're gonna kill me!" Hiccup just shakes his head.

"I think that's the point" He mutters, as Grimmel starts frantically yelling at the deathgripper.

"Kill him you worthless dragon!" Hiccup stands back as Grimmel begins to cough hysterically- since it was injected into a dragon it was a lot stronger than the one he used on Noor. Hiccup looked at the deathgripper, as the dragon growled at Grimmel. But before doing anything they looked at Hiccup.

"He's been controlling you your whole life and he's gonna destroy every last dragon there is" Hiccup spoke to the dragon like he knew exactly what he was saying.

"You idiot! You think he could understand you?! You know I really thought they called you the dragon master for a reason" Grimmel scoffed, as Hiccup just looked at the deathgripper alongside Toothless- who was incredibly hurt and stood the best he could beside Hiccup.

"It's your fight now" Hiccup mounts Toothless, glaring at Grimmel's confused expression. He pets Toothless's neck soothingly before nodding at the deathgripper.

"No- NO!" Grimmel shouts in agony, watching as the deathgripper growls at him, inching closer and closer to him.

"Please-" He backed up until he reached the end of the cliff. He looked down, nothing but clouds and nothingness. He'd surely die if he jumped. He looked back up, and the deathgrippers fangs were right in front of him.

The growling louder. His eyes are deadly and threatening.

"Don't do this- NO!"

And that was it for Grimmel the Grisly.
