Why would dad say such a thing?!

Asking her to combine our two clans- asking her to marry her?!

"No"

"But Hiccup, think about-"

"Dad I'm thinking about it, I was already gonna discuss having an alliance with her between our two tribes but asking her to combine- absolutely not" I think Stoick the Vast- my father, is now throwing a tantrum.

"Stoick. Your son is right, we can't just ask her to do such an intimate life changing thing. What if she has a significant other back at Eunoia?" I felt as my hands clenched, and my jaw tightened.

"And she just got here- we can't just do that!"

"Hiccup- Don't you like the lass?" Gobber asks suddenly, coming beside me. Me taken back by the question, I choke up as blood rushed to my cheeks.

"W- what no- I-"

"Can I be your best man!" We all quickly turned around to see Tuff and Ruff, as they ran up to us.

We all looked at them weird, as Ruffnut sat herself on the large table and Tuffnut came beside me. We were in the new Great Hall, it looked exactly the same as the one back home.

"Best man? No, I'm not getting married-"

"I'm just saying it would help out the clans for the better..." I rolled my eyes at Gobber, and Stoick let out an annoyed groan before slamming his fists on the table.

"As chief! You should-" The Great Halls big door slams closed. We all look over and see Noor awkwardly standing there innocently and I groan.

"How much did you hear?" Tuffnut asks in suspicion, swinging his long braid.

"Nothing- I promise" She says quickly, as I groan into my hands and lean against the table.

"Did you know when Nightflare gets nervous- he starts tapping the ground-" Through the sliver of the doors opening, a long black and white speckled dragon tail hits her over the head.

"Ow! Sorry bud-"

"Sorry, I spout random facts when I'm nervous" She says as she starts playing with her hands, biting her lip.

"Noor-"

"Now that I made it weird, I'm going to make my exit." She quickly pries the huge door open, before completely leaving she gets hit in the face once again by the dragon tail.

"Nightflare! I'm sorry- I shouldn't have embarrassed you!" I let out a laugh as I heard her from behind the door.

"But as I was saying-"

"Go hang out with her" Mom told me, cutting off dad and nodding towards the door.

"Valka-" She gives a pointed look towards him, and he groans plopping back down on his seat.

"Go on son, you've had enough of chiefly things to do today" I give her a small thanking grin and leave the Great Hall.

"I'm sorry okay?! You know how I am when I'm nervous!" He gives her an annoying expression, and swipes his tail under her. Letting out a yelp she falls on her back, throwing a hard glare at her dragon.

"Jerk" She huffs, as Nightflare plops on top of her.

"What are you doing?!" She squeals, trying to push the dragon off her chest. Nightflare smirks and keeps himself there, knowing she couldn't take him off her.

"AUGH! You're so heavy!" She complains with a laugh, as Nightflare gets up but takes a long lick on her.

"Flare! What the hell?! This isn't gonna wash off!" Nightflare dragonly laughs, and sits himself on the edge.

"You know I'm Chief right?! Just because your alpha doesn't mean you can just- AH!" Nightflare again swiped his tail under her feet, making her fall on her butt.

"That looked like it hurt" Noor's face scrunches up and looks behind her. Astrid gave her a small grin, and stepped towards her, reaching her hand out to help Noor up.

"No it's okay, I usually have a bunch of dragons spit all over me" Noor retorts, throwing a look at Nightflare as he just did a small laugh and grunt at her, laying down as Stormfly looks at him curiously.

"Oh yeah that's gonna take forever to wash off-"

"Yeah no joke, I might have to make another outfit" She grumbles, getting up as Astrid looked at her slightly nervous.

"What's up?" Noor asks, fixing her skirt and looking at Astrid oddly.

"I just wanted to say..." Noor nodded for her to continue as Astrid sighed.

"I just wanted to say that I'm sorry" Sorry wasn't something Noor was expecting to hear from her.

"Sorry for..."

"I'm sorry for those bad years when we were little, I wasn't the nicest towards you and Hiccup" Noor's mouth made a small 'o' shape, and then her lips scrunched.

"No it's okay, I mean that was- what? Ten years ago, it's okay now, we were kids..." Be nice. Be nice. She's apologizing, that's good.

"Good because now that you're here again after all these times... I want to get to know you- I mean we never really knew each other and didn't have this best conversations together... So I think it would be really cool" Noor only gives a smile before she approaches Nightflare.

"That actually sounds really cool... We can just forget about what happened all those years ago- and just restart, you know?"

"Yeah that sounds great" They give each other a grin, before Astrid took off with Stormfly.

"Now I feel bad for calling her Astird" Noor mutters before hearing someone laugh behind her. She turns around to see Hiccup and smiles.

"What's up Hiccy?" He rolls his eyes at the nickname.

"What was Astrid talking to you about?" She shrugs and sits on the grass, looking at the view.

"Oh nothing much, she kind of just apologized about those years back at Old Berk" He nods, and sits down beside her.

"So what were u and the others talking about in the Great Hall?" Hiccup grew nervous, and his cheeks started to turn pink.

"Oh- um nothing important, just a bunch of chief proclamations I don't need to worry about..." She nods slowly looking at him suspiciously.

"Wanna go for a flight?" Noor asks him and he grins, then whistling for Toothless.

She smirks as she kisses Nightflares wing softly, and mounts on to his saddle. Toothless flies down beside her and Nightflare, making Toothless get on him.

"Anywhere specific?" He asks her and she chuckles, then she whooshing up into the sky. He laughs, shaking his head and pats Toothless.

"Okay sounds like a plan"

"I love being up in the clouds" The sun was slowly going down, the colors red, pink, orange and yellow sprouting in the sky.

"Yeah... It's so..." He didn't know how to exactly explain or what the word he wanted to use, he just stared off with a small smile.

"Accelerating?"

"Yeah- exactly" He heard her give out a sigh, smiling warmly ahead of her before standing up.

"I've never seen anything more beautiful than this!!" She exclaimed, looking at the sunset. Her laughter echoed and she stood on top of her dragon, letting the wind blow through her hair.

"Neither did I..." He said looking at her.

Hiccup and Noor changed quite a bit since the past time they saw each other. And their lives completely changed- like she would never have expected for Hiccup to actually become Chief. But seeing him now, she thought the role was perfect for him.

They both felt those feelings, flying back from back ten years ago. The times they never left one another. For them they loved how they felt like nothing changed and it wasn't awkward.

At the same time, they knew they lived two very different lives. She lived extremely far away with her own family and people to lead, and had thousands of dragons of her own to make sure we're okay.

That scared them both.

What's gonna happen when she has to go back? It makes them question themselves- "Would I be able to do it again?"

When they were younger they couldn't go longer than almost a day without just seeing each other. And the same separation anxiety is pulsing through them again.

"Hiccy, look at this" With an eye roll he looks where she glides on her dragon. She stood up and Nightflare spread his wing closer to me, and she walked on to his wing and on to Toothless beside me.

"What are you doing?" He asks her, as she places a hand on his shoulder. Making him jump a little because of an electric shock that coursed through him.

"Just watch" She mutters with a smirk, standing behind him with her arms out. He looks at her weirdly before she gives him a wink and suddenly jumps off the dragon.

"NOOR!" He screamed, as he heard her laugh echo. He knew she didn't have her armor on- even if she did, he knew she didn't have the built in wings like his.

"Toothless-" Suddenly, Nightflare flew in front of him and Toothless, and the dragon beside us smirked?

Hiccup looked at the dragon weirdly before letting out a groan.

"Lord's- please kill me now before I die from this woman giving me a heart attack" He mutters, rubbing his face before Nightflare dives for Noor.

Diving down in the sky, Nightflare shot out a plasma blast in front of her. She dived into the beam, and he got under her. He got her and she got on his saddle securely. Since the plasma blast turned him invisible for a second, the second gave them enough time to closely appear beside Hiccup.

"You're literally going to kill me, Nil" He groans as she starts to explode with laughter on her dragon. Toothless let's out a funny laugh, glancing at the groaning Hiccup.

"Your scream was hilarious- Noor~!" He glared at her mimick of him screaming, and softly chuckled.

"You scream like a girl" He looked at her dramatically, placing a hand on his chest shocked with a gasp.

"I do not sound like a girl" With a smirk and chuckle, she criss crosses her legs on the saddle.

"Well you sure did a high pitched scream"

"I did not scream" She bit her lip to hide her laughter, as he crossed his arm over his chest.

"Oh ya, so what did you do?" She tilted her head the slightest and he couldn't help but glance at her.

The teasing she does and the small tilt she does with her head as she continues to tease him, always made him flustered. He couldn't help but find her extremely attractive and cute at those times the most.

"That was merely me trying to not have a heart attack with a little dignity" She shook her head and laughed.

"Oh go to hell" She tells me with a chuckle.

"And leave you here all alone?" He retorted with a smirk and glanced at her.

She couldn't help but find the little comebacks he does back at her, a little attractive. He does many things she thinks he does that makes him more attractive. But there's always specific little things that just get her in that flustered, laughing stage.
