"Kali! Have you seen Jaxyn and Adonis?!" I shout across the yards, and the girl with short thick dark red hair pops her head out from behind a green monstrous nightmare.

"No, last time-"

"BOOYAH BABY! THAT WAS AWESOME" I let out an annoyed huff. I look up and see Jaxyn stuck in a tree. Then, there was Adonis cackling on his deadly nadder above him with another deadly nadder flying beside him.

"Seriously guys?"

"Oh hey big cuz!" Jaxyn exclaims, looking over at me upside down. I rolled my eyes, as the tree branch fell and he landed on his face in the snow.

Since my father retired of being chief, I almost immediately took the role. I wish I honestly didn't though. It was always this and that, every time another thing after the other!

"Lady Chief! We need you over at the washers!"

"Chief where do we put this?"

"Noor don't forget you have that meeting!"

"I know mum!" I have responded with, before getting scowled at for yelling at her.

"Hey, is there a time you could teach me that cool flipping trick?"

"Chief we need you down at the docks!"

"Lady Chief-"

"Chief!"

"CHIEF!"

"What?!" I shout, my eyes widening. I look over to see the sweet older woman Helga, looking surprised.

"I-i'm sorry, what were you saying?"

"I was just saying the dragon eggs will be hatching in approximately 3 weeks" I bit down on my lip in excitement.

We had found dragon eggs hidden in a large dragon nest. It was a big fire, so the eggs were the only things that were alive from the terrible accident... Well except Precious.

"That's great, and how's Precious doing?" I ask, and her eyes are saddened.

"She woke up once, ate one fish and went back to sleep" I sigh.

Precious was a Golden feather fury. When we got back to Eunoia, Nightflare seemed off for the whole day and flew back to that island. I trusted he'd come back by midnight and he did. But with a Golden feather fury on his back sleeping.

We suspected that the eggs were hers, since they came from the same burned down island.

Nightflare once in a while would keep her company by bringing a mouthful of fish himself. It was cute.

I always teased him, but that always resulted in not being able to breathe since he plops on top of me. But she never fully got up and did something, but it was like Nightflare was determined to motivate her.

And by the looks of it, feathered furies are bigger than normal night or light furies. They were a little bigger, so Nightflare and her didn't have the biggest height difference.

She usually stayed in this cave on top of a hill. So if anyone was lucky, you'd see the beaut laying on top of the hill watching over.

Since Nightflare became the alpha of dragons after an encounter with Drago Bludvist and a two big Bewilderbeast.

It's a long story but... This ugly older looking guy, supposedly wanted to create an army and wanted Nightflare. He then had a Bewilderbeast, and then controlled ours- turning it dragons, against us... We defeated them, but Drago's arm sort of got defeated also... Cause of Nightflare, so congrats to him.

Drago swears he'll come back and leaves with a threat upon my people. For the recorder, I was probably 18 when this all happened. Pretty terrifying I would say to be honest. But then after defeating Drago and his dragons, Nightflare became the official dragon and I became chief!

Nice story if you ask me! I totally don't have terrible trauma from those times.

Anyways! But Nightflare likes to sit on top of the highest point on the island to watch over. Sometimes even gliding around the village watching over everyone and the dragons. My favorite is when the babies annoy him.

Biting on his tail, wings and ears annoys him but he's gotten used to it. The babies somewhat listen when he loudly growls at them, but then sometimes they take naps on him. A extremely cute sight.

It was winter and I did not like it. It's that point of winter where there is just huge globs of hard snow and melting ice, with large mud puddles everywhere. Very ugly in my opinion.

"Noor can you help me with this?" I look over to see Griffin, needing help to put on his dragons saddle- which was a brown Dirt-Hurler named Sneezer.

"So is your dad starting to let you do your own thing?" I let out a little laugh, patting Sneezer before grabbing one of his spikes and climbing on his back.

"My dad is still telling me what to do... Even after four years of being chief, he's still trying to make my decisions."

"Hey, at least you're not being forced into a relationship with Ms. Red head over here-" Before anything else was said out of his mouth, he got hit with a trout fish.

I bark out a laugh, as I see Kali walk over with a smirk and her arms crossed over her chest.

"That got to do it" She smugly said, as I jumped off Sneezer and he immediately tackled Griffin.

"Wait no! Sneezer!" Taking the fish off Grif, he got a bunch of slobber on him and me and Kali snort.

"You know that I don't want this just as much as you do" She says dramatically as I roll my eyes, as Ezekiel flies beside me on his Blue-Gold Dragon.

"Oh shut up, you guys love each other!" Ezekiel yells, sliding off his dragon but then falling straight on his face.

"Your right, what would I do if she weren't in my life!" Griffin cheers, wrapping his arms around the girl as she squeals, as he kisses all over her face.

They were at first forced into a relationship... Discreetly- they didn't know it was a 'betrothal'. But they fell in love and blah- blah, they're now here happily together and getting married next year.

"AHH!!" Well that was familiar. I look over to see Beau running from a bunch of baby gronkles.

"I swear this happens twice a week"

"I think this is his third time actually this week"

"Calculating... Yeah this is the third this week the gronkles have chased him around the island" Suddenly, we saw Beau's twin sister running after him.

"Again! Beau! They are not going to hurt you, just throw the damn stick!" Frightened Beau throws the stick far away from him and covers his eyes. He opens his eyes to see the gronkles not chasing after him but fighting over the big stick.

"I swear- he's the dumbest person I know!" Bonnie says, walking beside us looking at her twin brother annoyed.

"That's hilarious" I say with a chuckle, before letting out a loud whistle.

"You seriously leaving already? Dinner is gonna begin soon!"

"Not really hungry! I'll be back I promise, I'm sure my dad has everything covered anyways!" I yell, running towards the cliff.

"She's gonna do it"

"Are you surprised? She loves to test the possibility of death!" Kali exclaims, as I jump off the cliff.

"Any moment now...."

"It's a lot longer this time" Beau and Bonnie say, looking nervous.

"Become friends with the chief's daughter- they said! It will be fine- they said!" Kali grumbles as all of them run to the edge only to be pushed back by a force of wind.

"Are you kidding me?! She got us again!" Ezekiel shouts, getting up from the ground.

"WAHOO!" I cheer, my feet latched on to Nightflare's saddle and my hand on the reins.

"I might have a heart attack" Griffin murmurs, looking up at the sky on his back. Kali rolls her eyes and elbows him in the stomach.

"Shat-" He springs up, and holds his stomach for a second.

"Oh stop being such a baby"

"So... Where are we going today..." I say, sitting criss cross on Nightflares saddle as he glides.

I open my big map of the islands I have been to and look at the last one I went too. Fart Breath- Nightflare named it.

Good thing there wasn't much wind or else my map would be gone.

"Should we go further north... Or west?"

Nightflare makes a small roaring noise, and I pet his wing. "Northwest it is!"

I quickly folded the map into a small square shaped paper and put it in my note book. Then, putting my notebook into Nightflares large satchel. I latch my feet to the saddle and hang on to the reins.

"This place seems familiar...." I say holding up my map. I guide Nightflare to hover right over the island.

"It's completely destroyed..." I look closely at the designs of the now destroyed homes. Seeing that one specific home, perched at the very top of the small hill.

"Oh my god- oh the GODS!" I cheer happily, jumping on to my two feet on her dragons back.

Nightflare made a small growl and like I heard him perfectly, I happily clapped.

"Yes Flare! T-this... This is Berk"

"I-I haven't been here for forever.... It's been 10 years" I whisper, plopping myself down back on the saddle. Before coming to realize, Berk is destroyed.

"Oh no... W-what if Hiccup never taught them about dragons- And kicked him out of the tribe- What if they're all dead!- AH!" Night flare hovers upside down, making me hold on to him for dear life.

"Nightflare! Stop it! This isn't funny!" I scowl at him, as he does a growly chuckle. He turns back around and I strap myself to the reins and saddle.

"AHHH!" Both me and Nightflare turned out heads at the girlish- dragon? Scream.

"We should go there and check it out-"

Like Nightflare said nope, he smacked his long black tail at my face and flew back to Eunoia's path. I groan, before turning around and looking at the direction where the sound came from, which on the other side of the island.

But then when I came back. Everyone was all in bed and sleeping. I couldn't help and feel depressed as I saw Berk the way it did. She found it after all those years, searching north, south- and she found it. But no one is there.

"Noor! Where have you been?!" Her grandmother yells at her, as she walks into their family's home. She had her own home but didn't feel like going all the way to the top, and she had a place in her parents.

"Flying" She mutters, slowly taking off her armor and throwing it in a pile in front of her door.

"What's wrong? What happened?" Noor didn't truly know what to say.

She was just hoping everyone on Berk was safe.

Though- it has been ten years, they could have moved areas. That's what she hopes.
