— Any Wattpad author with a romance-based story that meets the eligibility criteria can participate. The book must have at least 10 solid chapters or 10K+ words and follow Wattpad's guidelines.

Q2. How do I apply for the award show?
— You can apply by filling out the nomination form. Make sure to follow SilverGoldCommunity and KimAes, give a shout-out on your board, and check that your book meets all the eligibility requirements.

Q3. Can I enter multiple books in the award show?
— You may enter in any 2 categories, but you can only submit one book per category.

Q4. Are LGBTQ+ stories allowed?
— Yes! LGBTQ+ stories are accepted under all categories.

Q5. Can judges participate in the award show?
— Judges cannot compete in the category they are judging, but they are allowed to apply for any 2 other categories.

Q6. Can I edit my book after applying?
— You can edit your book before the judging period begins. However, once judging starts, no changes should be made. If you decide to change your book's title, kindly inform us beforehand.

Q7. What happens if someone violates the rules?
— Any form of hate, rudeness, or malpractice (including biased judging) will result in immediate disqualification and a ban from future events. Respect is a must!

Q8. Are one-shots allowed in the competition?
— No, one-shots are not accepted this time. However, short stories with 10K+ words are eligible.

Q9. Will book covers be judged?
— No, covers will not be judged. The focus is purely on storytelling, so don't worry if your cover isn't professionally designed!

Q10. Can I interact with the judges about my book?
— No, participants should not interact with judges regarding the award show. Any attempts to influence judging will result in disqualification.

Q12. Does my story fall under Fantasy Romance or Paranormal Romance?
— It depends on the world-building and supernatural elements in your story.

Paranormal Romance: If your romance involves supernatural beings interacting with the modern or historical real world, it belongs here. Examples include relationships with werewolves, ghosts, demons, psychics, fae living in human society, or cursed humans with supernatural abilities.

Example: A journalist falls for a brooding grim reaper who only she can see.

Fantasy Romance: If your story takes place in a fully developed fantasy world with its own rules, magic systems, or mythical creatures, it fits under fantasy romance. This includes elves, gods and goddesses, witches in magical realms, dragon shifters, or enchanted kingdoms.

Example: A mortal princess is forced to marry the god of war to save her kingdom.

If your supernatural romance happens in our world, it's paranormal. If it's in a fantasy realm, it's fantasy romance.

Q13. What is 'Game Of Dom'?
— It is a category made for dark romance books. The graphics on the chapter may suggest that it is only Best Smut Category but no, it is The Best Dark Romance Category for all the Spicy Authors out there.

Q14. What are the prizes for the winners?
— NOTHING!! Just kidding...
There will be one winner per category. The winner will recieve 2 follows [from our backup account and writing account] along with a shout out on our board. A winner's sticker and a free pass as a writer in our community [discord/instagram mandatory].

Q15. How will winners be chosen? When and where will the results be announced?
— Judges will evaluate books fairly and without bias based on a set of criteria. Any form of malpractice will lead to disqualification and a ban from future events. Results will be announced on Silver Gold Community's official page (SilverGoldCommunity).
