—𝐖𝐀𝐋𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐀𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐂𝐇𝐎𝐎 𝐓𝐑𝐘𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐓𝐎 𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐃 𝐇𝐄𝐑 𝐒𝐈𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐖𝐇𝐎 𝐀𝐋𝐖𝐀𝐘𝐒 𝐒𝐄𝐄𝐌𝐒 𝐓𝐎 𝐁𝐄 𝐌𝐈𝐒𝐒𝐈𝐍𝐆, Jaylene runs into Lizzie and Josie. Lizzie stopped in her tracks as she remembered what Penelope said. "Did she who shall not be named fat-shame me?"

"Well then that thing who shall not be named must be blind, because you liz-bear are absolutely stunning."Jaylene smiles at lizzie who smiles back in thanks, Jay kisses a shocked josie on the cheek.

Josie opened her mouth to answer but no words came out.

"Hey, girls, listen." Ric approached his daughters and tightened his grip around  the strap to his bag.

"Don't do it." Josie crossed her arms over her chest, Jaylene giving a slight squeeze to the girls waist in comfort.

Ric tightened his grip on his strap as he stared at Josie.

"Don't say whatever it is you're about to say because you have Dad face, and wherever Dad face goes, daughter disappointment always follows." Josie huffed.

"I really disappoint them a lot, huh." Ric nervously scratched the back of his neck.

"Yeah no kidding." Damon says rolling his eyes.

"I'm sorry; I can't make the game today, Jaylene your sister wants you." Ric apologized and turns to Jaylene at the last thing he said to which she nods to.

Josie tilted her head, "But, Dad, you're the coach."

"And I'm QB1 this year." Lizzie whined.

"I hate it as much as you do, but I have to find Landon Kirby." Ric shrugged.

"Okay, so let's cancel. I mean, it's a joke anyways. We can't use our powers, so we suck." Josie suggested with a smile.

"Exactly. Which is a normal school for troubled rich kids thing to do. This annual event lets the locals see you for what they think you are. And keeps them from asking to many questions." Ric argued.

Lizzie signed, "But they mock us."

"Because they're insecure, small town kids with small minds. So just let it be. Look, girls, with Landon running around, knowing all of our secrets, we have to protect our profile now more than ever. Can I count on you guys to do that?" Ric looked between his twin daughters.

The girls nodded in response.

"Alright, I love you both. We'll be back as soon as we can." he walked away.

Lizzie processed what her father had said to them, "Wait...who's we?".

Jaylene kisses josie on the cheek to which josie kisses her cheek also, "I have to go and do something, but i'll talk to you later alright."Jaylene whispers staring into Josie's eyes.

"Yeah alright." Josie nods softly, a light pink tint covering her face, "also, remember you are your own person no matter what your sister says your you, just yourself."Jaylene replies to her rubbing the side of her arm.

The girls sequel, and the guys yet again, grone.

"What are you doing?"Jaylene asked Rafael who was fiddling with something under the truck with her sister standing right next to her.

"Something." Rafael answered as he rolled from under the truck. He gazed at Jaylene and Hope before he rolled back under the truck.

Jaylene shrugs her shoulders and went back to her phone, popping her cherry flavored gum without a care in the world.

"What are you doing?" Hope asked Rafael seeing how her sister was obviously not gonna question him anymore.

"Adjusting the swag bar." he answered her.

Jaylene finally putting her phone away rubbed her hand through her hair as she heard the clanking sounds, "It wasn't broken."

Rafael pulled the sway bar and rolled from under the truck, "It is now."Rafael pulled the sway bar and rolled from under the truck.

"Just grate."Jay muttered sarcastically as Hope helped Rafael up.

Rafael looked between the two. "You're going after Landon. If you want this car to work, I'm going with you."

"How do you know that we can't fix it?" Hope narrowed her eyes.

"Because you don't know how to, trust me." Rafael snickered.

Jaylene thought, how on earth would he know that none of them knew how to fix cars. Who says "trust me" in that sentence. Maybe she only got offended because she knows how to fix what he had just done with no problem at all.

"Well that sounds a bit sexiest." Rebekah states rolling her eyes at young boy.

"You know how to fix cars." Hope states turned her attention towards the other girl.

"Thank you for stating the Obvi Hopey."Jaylene pats her sisters shoulder giving said girl a tight lipped smile.

"What were you doing on your phone?" Hope questions her sister with a raised eyebrow.

"I may or may not have ordered Jojo some of her favorite flowers as a "It will be ok to lose the game you still have me gift"...?" Jaylene smiles sheepishly.

"They are literally so cute." Caroline says with a big smile.

"Yeah they are." Hayley smiles at the blonde women.

Hope smiles at Jay shaking her head.

Hope took in a deep breath getting back on track, "Listen, Rafael, stay out of it. Landon is a liar and a thief."

"He took a stupid knife." Raf argued with her.

"Nothing in this school is a stupid anything." Hope added.

"Well...there can be."Jaylene disagrees with Hope.

"Look, he's my best friend. And you, Hope, seem vengeful well your sister even more." Rafael stated.

Jaylene holds a hand to her heart with a small pout on her cherry red lips, "Thank you wolfy, that's the kindest thing anyone has ever said to me."

"Your welcome?" Rafael says in confusion.

Jaylene and Hope looked at each other before Hope held out her hands and stepped towards Rafael, "Let me show you something."    

Rafael squinted his eyes not wanting to.

Jaylene gave him a little nod insuring him that it was alright and so he let Hope show him what had happened to the people in the bus.

"He squints his eyes a lot." Jay states.

The people in the theater were absolutely horrified at the scene.

"What was that?" Rafael panted.

"Landon wolfy...Landon did that."Jay replies folded her arms over her chest.

"I have actual magic powers." Hope stared him down.

"And I have a long history of anger issues." Rafael argued.

"He must not know about the Mikaelsons." Marcel huffed.

"Plus from what we seen,Jaylene can be a very protective sister." Bonnie states the obvious.

"Well so do I."Jay states standing in front of her sister starring the boy down.

"See." Bonnie says with a small smile.

"He can come." Ric appeared out of nowhere.

"Say what?"Jay scratched her temple. Ric was out of his mind, yes he was.

"He knows Landon; he'll be an asset. And we need all the help we can get, so fix the car and hop in," Ric explained as he took a good look at Rafael. "And put a shirt on."

"Eh I kind of like the view."Jaylene shrugs smirking.

"Jaylene get in the car." Ric says pointing to the car.

"Dad loves Hope more than he loves us." Lizzie complained as she and Josie walked down the hallway.

"Not true." Ric sympathized. "It seems like it." Rebekah glanced at him.

"You're being melodramatic, okay? He's missing one game." Josie replied as she tried to calm her sister down.

"First a game and then our weddings. This game is an opportunity. We can show him how seriously we are taking this by making sure that our secret stays protected out there on the field. Today, we will lose even more epically than we normally do." Lizzie came to the conclusion.

"Win by losing. That's the spirit." Josie sighed.

"Well doesn't she have school spirit?" Damon smiled sarcastically at everyone.

"There's someone we need to recruit to our Island of Misfit Toys...tall, hot, and handsome." Lizzie smirked.

"I'm totally thinking right end..." Lizzie dreamed but she was interrupted by Penelope."I just saw him. Yeah, sorry, Raf's not gonna be at the game..." Penelope smirked as she saw the disappointed look on the twins faces. "He hopped the Jaylene and Hope train out of town..., oh, and your dad."

"She's awful." Hayley scoffed.

"I wanna rip her heart out." Kol says at the edge of his seat.

Everyone turns to him with a strange look.

"What?, I can't be the only one?!?"He argues.

"I don't know why he would still be out here. He has a whole day's lead on us. He could be anywhere." Hope stated as she stepped over the sticks in the woods.

"Maybe cause he doesn't have a reason to run." Rafael mention.

"Then why did he run?"Jaylene asked while she looked back at Rafael with her hand on her sisters shoulder trying to get the dirt off her pretty shoes.

"Why would they make her walk in the dirty woods with her amazing shoes?!" Caroline questions with a small galre.

The group fell silent as they continued walking the woods. Then, out of nowhere, some twigs had snapped.

"Well that's not good." Klaus states.

"Well that's not good."Jay states smiling, already itching to use her magic.

He smiles at his daughter.

"Someone's here." Ric announced and took off running towards the sound.

He found a lady with soot on her face and on her clothes. "I—It's okay. I—I'm not gonna hurt you," Ric slowly stepped towards her. The lady stepped back and looked around the woods. "Were you on the bus? Can you tell us what happened?" he asked.

"Is she a survivor?" Hope questioned as she examined the lady.

"Smells like it."Jay sniffed the air as she answered.

"She's in shock. Look, I need to get her to the police so she can get medical attention. Uh, why don't you three go ahead," Ric offered as he narrowed his eyes at the older twin sister. "Don't engage. We don't know how dangerous Landon is."

"He's not dangerous." Rafael butted in.

"C'mon wolfy."Jay patted Raf'a shoulder.

"Alright, guys. Let's have a good, clean, entirely uneventful game—" Dorian announced to the two teams on the field.

"Like we do every year when we beat them." Connor interrupted.

"Not exactly the spirit, Connor." Dorian raised his eyebrow at the Mystic Falls teenager.

"All right, call in the air." Dorian told the players and the referee made his way to the middle of the two teams.

The referee flipped and coin as he waited for a response.

"Tails never fails." one of the Mystic Falls players announced. The coin fell to the ground and it landed on tails.

"Guess not. Your ball. Shake hands and let's do this." Dorian stated.

Josie offered the other team a hand and one of the players gladly shook it. Kaleb, one of the players on the Salvatore team, tried to do the same thing but the Mystic Falls player pushed him instead of shaking his hand. Kaleb starred the dude and was ready to fight the dude.

"Jerks." Tyler states shaking his head.

"Dude, really?" Matt asks him in disbelief.

"What exactly happened on that bus?" Rafael asked them.

"No one knows. It's like something incinerated it from the inside." Hope shrugged.

"Look, what he did, I know there's a good explanation. He's the most loyal friend that I've ever had. He was there for me on the worst day of my life. After my girlfriend died, He's the only thing that kept me going. So let me get that knife back for you and then we all can hear him out, okay?"  Rafael pleaded.

"Appreciate the passion, but maybe you should exert some of it making new friends." Hope spoke as she stepped over sticks.

Rafael stopped in his tracks, "So I can be as popular and well-liked as you?"

All of a sudden Rafael yells in pain holding his arm to his chest, "What, what?!" Hope asked alarmed.

"I don't know I just felt a very painful shock to my arm." Rafael rubs his arm winicing.

"The next time you wanna talk to my sister like that, think again."Jaylene states starring him down with a glare as she walked behind them.

"I love how protective she is." Hayley says smiling at the screen. Klaus agrees with her.

Rafael glared at her back but then focused his attention on Hope. "Yeah, I've been at the school for two days and I've already heard all about Hope and Jaylene Mikaelson and their sunny disposition. I'll get you the stupid, not-stupid knife and the answers you want. I promise."

"And why should I believe you?" Hope questioned him.

"Because I don't lie." he answered.

Hope chuckled as Jay answers, "Everybody lies." She turned her head towards Hope. The teenager nodded her head. "He's in the root cellar. You have three minutes to do this your way.

"Wait, the headmaster said don't engage." Rafael hesitated.

   "Yes, listen to me." Ric urged.

"Two minutes, fifty-nine."Jaylene and Hope chorused as they watched Rafael take off towards the roof cellar.

Rafael opened the door to the cellar and slowly walked down the steps. He looked around the room and found an extremely fearful and vulnerable Landon.

Once Landon saw his foster brother he immediately jumped up and hugged him. "Raf? How did you find me?"

"There's, um, a— lot of crazy witchy people looking for you. There's a bus full of burned up people..." Rafael stuttered.

"That wasn't me." Landon quickly answered.

"Who was it then, sure as hell wasn't wolfy." Jay asked as she leaned up against the wall.

"You said three minutes." Rafael remembered.

"People lie." Klaus smiled cynically.

"Like we said, people lie," Hope answered Rafael.

"Corporis Impetu." Jaylene stretched her hand out and sent Landon flying through the air.

"Where's the knife?" Hope asked Landon.

"I don't have it. I must've lost it when I ran." Landon struggled to let out an answer.

"Was that before or after you burned down the bus?" Jay questioned.

"That wasn't me, I swear. I barely got out alive." Landon shouted.

"Jaylene, Hope, c'mon." Rafael pleaded.

"Last chance. Who was it?" Hope warned Landon as she took threatening steps toward him.

Landon squirmed up against the wall, "There was this girl..."

"What the hell is this?! story time?!."Jaylene says throwing her arms in the air in annoyance.

Everyone couldn't help but agree with that statement.
