ISAAC BROKE THE LOCK OF THE SHERIFF'S DEPARTMENT IMPOUND LOT, allowing him, Allison, and April to step inside. While the Sharpe girl was having her crazy murder moment, Scott and company had caught the Nogitsune and gotten it out of Stiles somehow. However, the creature had kidnapped Lydia on its way out of the house. As soon as they walked in, the spotted the all too familiar blue car. It was empty but unharmed, and Allison breathed out. "That's it. That's Lydia's car."
"The scent's strong of emotion," Isaac informed them as they walked around and inspected the car. He was sniffing the air for signs of chemosignals like Derek had taught him.
The blonde girl was almost nervous for his response when she asked, "Fear?" The last thing she wanted was for her friend to be scared, especially since the Nogitsune fed off of fear.
"Anger," he answered after shaking his head.
"Sounds like Lydia," Allison replied with a small smile. She then glanced between the other two teenagers with her. It was obvious that there was an awkwardness between them and that they needed to tak to she glanced around before telling them, "Hey, you guys check out the car. I'm gonna look around to see if I can find anything else. Let's see what else we can find."
The two nodded and did as they were told as the brunette walked off. Isaac laid down on the ground to check under the car and April stood on her toes to glance at him from the other side. She finally worked up the courage to speak as he started to stand back up. "Uh, just...just out of curiosity, do you remember the other night?"
"You mean the night before last night?" he quizzed, his voice muffled a little bit by the car in between them just before his head popped up from behind it so that she could see his face.
She nodded before clarifying just in case, "That night before you weren't you, and I wasn't me."
"Yeah, I remember," he responded, and she brought herself to look at him long enough to scan his eyes for any sign of his feelings about the night. He seemed to be talking about it very nonchalantly, so she was a little scared that he had remembered it differently than she had.
"So, that night, were you you, or were you not you?" she asked as she climbed into the driver's seat of the car and he in the passenger's seat. She took a couple deep breaths as silence filled the vehicle. She took a second to remember his hands on her, his lips brushing against her skin, and she was wondering if there was any way that any of that could have been fake. "I just wanna know if it was actually you with me."
Isaac furrowed his eyebrows in confusion, almost as if he did not understand what she wanted to know but she knew he did. "Did you want it to be someone else?"
"No! No. No, of course not," she replied quickly, almost too quickly.
"Good...Because it was me. And I do remember it β I really remember it," he informed her, causing her to blush and look down at her hands in her lap. They were quiet for a moment before he spoke up again. "And I also remember something else." She furrowed her eyebrows at him as she looked up in question. "I remember something from while I was asleep. While I was out, I could hear things."
She froze a little, terrified of what he was about to say and trying to scan her brain for anything that she might have said and what the worst thing she told him was. "What did you hear?"
"I heard a lot of things. I heard you talk to me and tell me what was happening, and I heard you say something else," he explained to her, and it was clear that he was a little nervous to bring it up as well. "You said it a lot."
"Oh," she muttered, and it did not take her very long to realize what he was talking about. There was only one thing that she said multiple times in front of him other than her just breaking down all of the time.
They had both kind of been staring ahead out of the window, terrified of looking at the other person while they spoke, but Isaac finally turned his head to see her answer. "Do you know what I'm talking about?"
"Yeah, I think so," she answered, but it was not true. She did not think so, she knew so. She would place money on the fact that he was about to talk about when she dropped the "L" word bomb about ten times while he was unconscious.
He nodded slowly, as if he was trying to buy himself some time to think about what he was going to say next. "Well, I just wanted to know if you meant what you said."
"Um, yeah, I did," she answered honestly after a short pause. Words could not describe how terrified she was at that moment. She was practically shaking, and her heart was beating out of her chest. She was more scared then than when she was forced to see Jackson naked.
"Then I have something to say," he let her know, and he turned in his seat so that he was looking straight at her. He reached over to where her hands were sitting in her lap and wrapped his fingers around them, pulling them toward him a little bit. April was so scared, and even his gentle touch could not stop her shaking hands. He took a deep breath before he blurted out. "I love you."
That was not what she had expected, and her eyes shot wide. "What?"
"I love you, April Sharpe," he repeated, and his eyes looked anxious for a response even though he had already heard her say the words. He had never seen her eyes when she said it, so how could he know that she was being sincere?
She breathed out a sigh of relief, almost laughing at how happy she was. She raised her eyebrows at him and she squeezed his hands excitedly. "Really?"
"Yeah, of course. Are you crazy?" he asked, rolling his eyes. She was so shocked that she was surprised because he could not imagine not loving her. She was so beautiful and smart and funny and perfect. How the hell could anyone not love her? "I've loved you ever since that night at the sheriff's office when you and Derek broke me out and you crouched down in front of me and told me that it was all going to be okay."
Once he was done speaking, she wasted no time in leaving over the glove compartment, releasing his hands, and grabbing his neck to pull her into him. Her lips collided with his, and he grinned as he pulled her closer. Sparks flew between the two, and it felt like fireworks were going off in both of their stomachs. Finally, she pulled away just enough so that he could see her grin.
"I love you too," she told him, and then she leaned back in the seat with the goofiest smile on her face. All of a sudden, Allison walked over to the car and pulled the door open. April furrowed her eyebrows as her friend took a big breath and breathed on the window. She was confused until she saw the message written on it.
'Don't look for me.'

WHEN APRIL AND ISAAC ARRIVED AT SCOTT'S HOUSE TO HELP him and Stiles with some girl that escaped from Eichen House, they were shocked to see Rafael McCall standing in the middle of the kitchen. None of them had time to speak before Scott, Stiles and Meredith β the Eichen House girl β ran into the house. Scott's eyes widened when he saw his father, and he glanced between the man and April, who just shrugged. "What are you doing here?"
"I could ask you the same thing," the agent responded since they were all technically supposed to be in school at that moment. None of them had really been to school in a while, and it was definitely going to end up biting them in the ass. However, they had more important things then.
"Free period," the Stilinski boy answered quickly, lying to cover their tracks hopefully. "We're doing group study."
Rafael looked over at the girl that he had never seen before, and he was a little nervous because of how antsy and terrified that she looked. "Who's she?"
"She's my girlfriend," the Stilinski boy informed him, thinking quickly on his feet before pulling Meredith toward him and trying to sell the story. April fought the urge to laugh as he glared at her.
Meredith had different plans, though. Instead of just going along with the lie and making everything so much easier, she just glanced up at Stiles awkwardly and muttered to him loud enough for the whole room to hear, "You're not my type."
"Well, obviously, we have a lot to talk about," the sheriff's son chuckled out, trying to play it off as a joke because if Rafael found out what they were doing, they would get in a crap ton of trouble. "We should maybe take this upstairs?"
"He's my type," the girl told them, looking straight at Isaac. The Lahey boy felt a little uncomfortable under her stare and just slid closer to April who was glaring daggers at the girl.
Stiles nodded slowly, "Okay... Isaac, you can come, too."
"Lydia? You mean, the red-haired girl," Meredith mumbled once they got upstairs and started interrogating her. Scott had stayed downstairs because his dad wanted to talk to him about something, but the rest of them were up there with her.
"Yes! Yes! Good! Progress!" Stiles exclaimed excitedly. Now, they were one step closer to finding Lydia. It was obvious that he was very very worried about her. "Now, all you gotta do is tell us where she is."
The girl nodded quickly, tired of them being so enthusiastic and pushy about all of this. She sounded like she just wanted to do her own thing. "Okay! Okay. If she tells me."
"If she tells you? Can you ask her?" Isaac questioned in confusion.
April nodded along to what he was saying because this was going to take forever if they were waiting for Lydia to reach out to them. "Yeah, do we just have to wait until she tells you or can you contact her somehow?"
"I already did," Meredith answered with a smile, and they all perked up, waiting anxiously for what Lydia said and how she described her location. All of their shoulders slumped when they heard what she said next. "She says she doesn't want to be found."
"I'm just saying," Isaac said as the three of them, minus Meredith, stood in the bathroom, discussing what their game plan was to get the secret out of Meredith or figure out how she could talk to Lydia again.
April sighed, rolling her eyes playfully at the boy's suggestion of what to do and how to get Meredith to cooperate and let them help her. "Isaac, we're not going to torture herβ"
"I meant scare herβ" he corrected, cutting her off.
Stiles interrupted him next, having seen how scared the girl was. She had showed up at the school with no clue how she got there or what she was supposed to be doing there. "We're not going to psychologically torture her, either!"
"Fine," the Lahey boy exhaled, giving up. Then, his eyes widened, and it was like a lightbulb went off in his brain. "How about this β you said she hears things, right? Doesn't that mean she's like Lydia? A Banshee?"
"Okay, just try to focus on the sounds around you," Stiles told Meredith as they all crouched in front of her and tried to instruct her on what to do and how to figure out all of the voices.
Isaac nodded, adding on to what the Stilinski boy said in an attempt to pretend like he knew just what he was doing. "On what you're hearing..."
"Just focus on the silence..."
"Listen to the silence..."
"Focusing on the silence..."
"Listening to theβ"
Stiles finally broke as he interjected annoyedly at the blonde boy, "Okay, will you just let me handle this, Isaac? Please? I just β I have more experience with Banshees."
"Yeah, and mental patients..." Isaac muttered, but he stood up and made his way out nonetheless. Then, Stiles turned to April with raised eyebrows, and she realized that he wanted her to get out as well. She groaned before trudging out of the room.
She closed the door behind her and turned to Isaac. "I don't know why he wants us out. We're awesome."
"So awesome."
