"Isaac!" April yelled, looking for the curly-haired blonde in the crowd of hormonal teenagers dancing and making out. A beat was blasting through the speakers that were placed in almost every available spot on the wall. The blonde could barely hear herself think. She had to raise her voice just to be able to make out what she, herself, was saying. She doubted that Isaac could actually hear her, even with his werewolf hearing. She was then proved wrong when felt a familiar presence behind her followed by a voice.

"Hello, April," Isaac greeted as she turned around to face him, "How are you on this fine evening?" His face was dangerously close to her's, which took effort considering he was a lot taller than her. His neck was craned so that his head was almost level with her head.

"Where's Erica?" she asked. She was hoping that the blonde werewolf would be there so she wouldn't have to be alone with Isaac.

The boy answered with a shrug, "She went out for a bit. The lights were upsetting her." The blue-eyed boy smirked when she pushed his face away by his forehead. That was when she first noticed the object in his hand as he help them out. "Flowers, as promised."

She snatched them and examined them. They were lavenders, which happened to be her favorite type of flower, and she was wondering how he knew that. "What am I supposed to do with these?"

"Yeah," he nodded, reconsidering. What was she going to do with a bouquet in the middle of a rave. "Probably not the best idea for this kind of outing." He grabbed them from her and placed them on a table nearby before gesturing for her to move.

"Let's just get this over with," she sighed, clearly annoyed as she grabbed his arm and led him through the crowd. They had come up with a plan to distract Jackson, but the Sharpe girl was definitely not a huge fan of it.Β

"Why do I feel like you're mad at me? Is it because of what I said in class the other day? That you like talking to me?"

"You know what I don't like?" The blonde questioned, turning around to face him so that he could see her face while she looked him up and down. "This stupid act."

The Lahey boy furrowed his eyebrows in confusion, wondering what the girl in front of him was talking about. "What act?"

"The one that your putting up to make you seem cool and dangerous and sexy." April froze for a second when she realized what she said before turning back around and continuing to walk, secretly hoping that Isaac didn't hear that, but she knew that her hopes were crushed when she felt his smug eyes landing on the back of her head.

"Is the music too loud or did I hear you say that I'm sexy?" the blonde boy questioned her with an arrogant smile plastered on his face. He was honestly flattered, but he would never tell anyone that. April Sharpe thought that he was sexy.

Everleigh rolled her eyes and smiled slightly while a blush slowly creeped up her cheeks. Flustered, she knew that the boy behind her could hear her heartbeat as she muttered, "Shut up."

"First cute and now sexy. Man, I must be irresistable," Isaac teased in a sing-song voice.

She kept leading him through the party to where she had seen Jackson dancing earlier and told him, "Focus on the task at hand."

Once they reached the spot where the Whittemore boy was, they stood a few yards away, watching as he swayed and bobbed his head up and down to the beat of the music. April had let go of Isaac's hand and was now fiddling nervously with the bottom of her shirt.

The blonde girl sighed, "I really don't like this. Why did we have to distract him this way?" She felt weird doing this to Jackson, the asshole that was also her friend's ex-boyfriend.

"If it makes you feel any better, it's actually the Kanima," Isaac offered and April glanced at him.

"So, I'm about to kiss a lizard monster that kill people. Oh, and not to mention I've seen him naked." She replied sarcastically, "That's soΒ much better."

The Lahey's eyes shot wide open. "When have you seen Jackson naked?"

"Yesterday in the locker room. It was traumatizing" she informed him before groaning once again. "Why can't you just do it?"

"Why the hell would Jackson make out with me?" he asked her, scrunching up his face, and the blonde almost laughed at the sentence.

April mirrored his actions. "Why the hell would Jackson make out with me?"Β

"At least you're a girl and you're hot."

Isaac's eyes widened when he heard what had just come out of his mouth. His mouth was slightly open as he turned his head away, his eyes looking at anything but Everleigh who was staring at him, mouth wide. When he finally looked back, she was smiling mischievously.Β

"You think I'm hot," she mocked in the same voice that he had teased her with a couple of minutes ago.

Isaac stuttered for a second before regaining his confidence and arguing, "You think I'm sexy."

The two teenagers had a stare down. Isaac slowly started to move towards her, leaning down slightly and not breaking eye contact with April. Once she comprehended the close proximity of their faces, her breath hitched in her throat, and she was sure that Isaac could hear her heart beating even if he didn't use his werewolf hearing.

She finally looked away, shaking her head to snap out of her trance, and glanced over at Jackson, who, she noticed, was starting to move further into the crowd and towards his next target. She pointed him out to Isaac who had moved back to his original position.

"We should go," she told him, her breath shaking a little bit, "The Kanima's moving." She walked towards the boy that was looking kind of possessed and the blue-eyed blonde behind her just stared her back before following after her.

Once she got close enough to Jackson, April decided that she should just go for it and not think about it for too long, so she grabbed his shoulder and stepped in front of him. She then pressed her lips on his. He pulled away for second, sending her an unreadable expression, but then started to kiss her jawline and her neck.Β

The brunette then felt Isaac behind her as he slid his hands from her waist to her hips then down to her thighs. She felt him press his lips to her shoulders and collar bone. She tilted her head slightly so that her hair was out of her way and she lifted Jackson's head and brought his lips back to hers.Β

She could feel Isaac start to move from behind her. Pulling the syringe out of his pocket, he reached around April so that he could reach Jackson, but the Whittemore boy was too quick.

Jackson plunged his claws into April's waist and into Isaac's thigh before growling, "She belongs to me."

The two teenagers gasped before falling to the floor, Isaac dropping the syringe. Jackson started to walk away and the blonde boy reached for the ketamine that was a few feet away from him, only for it to be kicked away by the raving bodies.Β

April couldn't see what Isaac was doing, but she felt him move away. Slowly, she stood up and made her way to a pillar that she could lean on. Once she was safely propped up against it, she removed her hand from her side to take a look at the damage.

Her top had holes in it, and blood was seeping through it. Luckily, the cuts weren't too deep, and she would easily be able to bandage it up once she got home. She grabbed some napkins from a table nearby and held them against the wound in hopes of stopping the bleeding.Β

After a couple of moments, Isaac appeared again a couple of yards away, but it seemed like there were a million people between them. She looked like she was about to collapse, so he pushed through the crowds to reach her. Her knees buckled and Isaac wrapped his arms around her waist before she could hit the floor. He then backed away slightly so that he could look at her, moving one hand up to her bicep to keep her stable. Her eyes started to close and her head fell to her shoulder.

"Hey. Stay with me, April," he told her. She opened her eyes again and nodded, and together, they limped through the crowd. He led her into a secluded room where Erica was waiting.

The werewolf's eyes widened when she saw the injured girl. "What happened to her?"

"Will you just help me please?" he asked with an annoyed voice, setting April down on a platform so that she could sit down.

"Here, have some water," Erica told the blonde, grabbing her water bottle from a stool next to her and handed it to the Sharpe girl who took it happily. "Drink up."

The blonde human gladly did as she was told, and as soon as the liquid touched her lips, she felt better. She wasn't lightheaded anymore, and she could actually focus on what was happening. She stared at Jackson, who was sitting in a chair across from her.Β

All of a sudden, the door opened, and the two werewolves spun toward it, ready to attack until they saw who it was. Stiles held up his hands, closing the door behind him. "Uh, no, no, no! Just me, it's just me. Don't freak. Is he okay?"

"Well, let's find out," Isaac answered, approaching the unconscious boy. His claws were out when he lifted his hand to strike, but the Kanima caught it before he could so any damage to his chest. The Lahey grunted as he twisted his wrist, and April winced as she heard cracking.

Jackson finally released him, and Isaac stepped back as fast as he could, his back hitting the wall that the Sharpe girl was leaning against as he gripped his hand in pain.

"Okay," the Stilinski boy announced, looking around the room at each of the teenagers. "No one does anything like that again, okay?"

"I thought the ketamine was supposed to put him out," the blonde boy muttered through gritted teeth, still cradling his hand. April would be lying if she said she wasn't a little bit worried about him.

Stiles rolled his eyes, gesturing to the somewhat possessed boy a couple feet away. "Yeah, well, apparently, this is all we're going to get. So, let's hope that whoever's controlling him just decided to show up tonight."

"I'm here," said a deep voice, and all of their heads whipped up to see Jackson's eyes open and a snarl on his face. The voice was obviously the Kanima's. "I'm right here with you."

"Jackson, is that you?" the sheriff's son asked as he moved forward and crouched down so that he and the monster were at eye level with each other.

Just moving his mouth to reply, the Kanima corrected very creepily, "Us. We're all here." This caused Stiles to look back at the others in confusion, silently asking if they knew what not-Jackson was talking about.

"Are you the one killing people?" he questioned when he got no response.

It's face didn't change, but the voice got a little more irritated when it said the next sentence to them. "We are the ones killing murderers."

"So all the people you've killed so farβ€”"

"Deserved it," Jackson cut him off, answering the question before he even finished. April glanced at Isaac to see if she could tell was he was thinking, but his expression was blank.

Stiles paused for a moment, as if waiting for any of the other to say something, but when they didn't, he just continued."So we got a little rule book that says you only go after murderers."

"Anything can break if enough pressure's applied," Jackson pointed out, which was a little disturbing as he tilted his head the other way. His eyes made it look like he was about to kill Stiles with his glare.Β

"Alright," the Stilinski nodded slowly. "So, the people you're killing are all murderers then?"

Jackson confirmed what he was saying, but April still couldn't wrap her head around it. Of course, it was Beacon Hills, but how could soΒ many people in this town that she had felt safe in be killers. "All. Each. Every one."

"Well, who did they murder?" Stiles questioned, and the blonde human was curious about that = as well.

"Me."

"Wait, what?" the sheriff's son quizzed as the rest of the people in the room furrowed their eyebrows in confusion, wondering what he meant. "What do you mean?"

The Kanima sighed frustratedly. "They murdered me. They murdered me." The second time he said it, however, his eyes turned yellow, his pupils becoming slits, and his skin was turning to scales.

"Okay, alright," Stiles murmured as soon as he saw the boy's claws coming out of his lizard hand. "More ketamine. The man need ketamine. Come on."

"We don't have anymore," Isaac informed them, holding up the empty bottle as April stood to stand by all of them when they backed into a corner.

The Stilinski sighed in disbelief, not even looking at the Lahey boy. "You used the whole bottle?"

They did not have time to argue because, as Erica pointed out, the Kanima was rising from its chair. He remained still for a moment before jerking its head around violently. Stiles' eyes widened. "Okay, out, everyone out."

"Go, go, go," Isaac told the boy, and he pulled the blonde beside him with him as they exited the room and shut the door. They all laid against it so that the Kanima couldn't get out.

"Okay," Stiles breathed out once they were safely on the other side of the door. "Find something to move in front of the door."

It was no use because just as he said that, the creature burst through the wall beside them like it was nothing. They all stared in disbelief as it bounded back off into the party.

AUTHOR'S NOTE

Just FYI, when I first wrote this chapter, April had a different name and face claim, so if anything that says a different name or hair color, just ignore it.
