EVER SINCE THE DAYย that Jackson sat out of tryouts once he saw that Scott was smelling people, April had been a little curious as to why. Of course, it might have been that her friend had been really weird, and Jackson just didn't want to be a part of it. However, maybe Isaac wasn't the only supernatural that Scott sensed in the locker room that day.
They were in PE, and Coach Finstock was having them climb a rock wall in pairs. April and Danny were up first.
"Has Jackson been acting weird recently?" April questioned curiously as she and her friend were suspended from the air. She reached up and grabbed ahold of the purple rock above her on the wall. She figured now would be the best time to ask questions because he was stuck up there with her, and he couldn't run away.
"He's always acting weird," Danny answered from next to her with a curious glance in her direction, "Why? You two hooking up or something?"
She scrunched her face up in disgust and confusion. How could he think that she had hooked up with Jackson? Forget the fact that he was gross and an asshole, but Lydia was her friend. "Ew, no. I was just wondering because Lydia was pretty upset about their break up, and I wanted to see how Jackson was doing, you know?"
"No, but okay," the Mahealani boy responded, shrugging before looking up to grasp the rock above him and pull himself even further up the wall. "I'll bet you twenty bucks that I can beat you to the top."
"Deal," the blonde agreed quickly. With a mischievous smile, she reached up and grabbed Danny's shirt. She yanked it down, pulling as hard as she could without tearing the fabric. He lost his hold and fell down the wall. He grabbed ahold of a rock a couple inches below April's foot.
She smirked as he stared up at her with a shocked and somewhat betrayed look on his face, muttering, "Cheater."
"All's fair in love and rock walls," the blonde shrugged with a grin, making her way to victory. She tapped the top, cheering as she did. She kicked off the wall, and she lowered down. She beamed at Danny, who glared at her until she went down.
ย Once her feet touched the mat, she unhooked her harness and clipped the rope back onto the wall as Coach congratulated her from behind. "Great job, Sharpe. Let's go, Danny. We don't have all day." Just as he said that, the boy reached the top and began coming down.
He reached the bottom and got unhooked, and when he turned to go back to his spot, April held out her hand. Rolling his eyes and sighing, Danny pulled twenty bucks out of his pocket and handed it over. She pocketed it happily. Next up was Scott and Allison.
After not-so-sneakily checking out Allison's ass, earning a strange look from the students below, the werewolf climbed really fast while his girlfriend wasn't looking and smirked when she noticed him. Inspired by April's actions minutes before, she lifted her leg up and kicked his foot so he went plunging to the floor. He stopped right before he hit the ground and remained there for a moment until he fell the rest of the way.
"McCall, I don't know why, but your pain gives me a special kind of joy," Coach told the boy on the floor, sitting next to him as the class laughed. "All right, next two. Stilinski, Erica, let's go. The wall."
Stiles headed straight to the wall, but Erica looked it up and down nervously before getting hooked in. The Stilinski boy made it all the way up the wall surprisingly easily, but the blonde girl below him was struggling. It was when Stiles touched the top and landed on the mat again when she began hyperventilating.
"Help, please," Erica begged as she breathed heavily and sobbed. April didn't know what she wanted to, but after hearing the pain in the girl's voice above her, she knew she wanted to help.
"Erica," Coach called, and they all approached the wall, looking up at her. "Dizzy? Is it vertigo?"
Staring at him in confusion and judgement, Lydia stated, "Vertigo's a dysfunction of the vestibular system of the inner ear. She's just freaking out."
"Erica," the man said again, ignoring the strawberry blonde next to him.
Still gasping for breath, Erica replied, "I'm fine." She certainly didn't sound fine. She wasn't moving, and she refused to looked down.
"Coach, maybe it's not safe," Allison suggested with a worried voice. "You know she's epileptic.
"Why doesn't anybody tell me this stuff? Erica, you're fine. Just kick off from the wall. There's a mat to catch you. Come on," Finstock explained after everyone glanced at him, concerned from the first sentence.
With shaky hands, Erica seemed to hear him as she slowly let go of the rock that she was grasping tightly and lowered herself down cautiously until her feet were safely on the mat. Coach encouraged, "See, you're fine. You're on the ground. You're al right. Let's go. Shake it off. You're fine."
The blonde shakily made her way out of the gym as laughs echoed throughout it. She smiled falsely at the students that were snickering at her, and tears welled up in her eyes. April watched her go with pity before turning back to the class.

Stiles and April walked as nonchalantly as they could across the cafeteria and to the table that held none other than Vernon Boydโliterally none other. He was the only one occupying that entire table. They sat down, and Stiles looked around, as if looking to see if anyone was watching them. The blonde rolled her eyes because all he was doing was attracting more attention to them.
"Boyd," Stiles acknowledged the boy as he sat sideways in the chair. "You got the keys?" Boyd held out his hand, and they saw the keychain that was dangling from his fingers.
April reached out the grab it, but when she did, he refused to let go. She tugged, but his hold was firm. When she looked at him, confused, he told her, "This isn't a favor. It's a transaction."
"Right, yeah. Absolutely," the Stilinski boy nodded as April released the keys and Boyd pulled them back. Reaching into his pocket, the Sheriff's son pulled out a twenty-dollar bill and placed it on the table.
After observing it, Vernon looked up, "I said fifty."
"Really?" Stiles asked in astonishment, looking back and forth between the two teenagers that he was sitting with. "I remember twenty. I don't know. I have a really good verbal memory. And I remember twenty. I remember that distinctive 'twa' sound. 'Twa-enty.'"
"I remember twenty as well. You sure you said fifty?" April questioned, turning back to Boyd who was not looking impressed.ย
Ignoring her, the kid across the table from them addressed Stiles. "I said fifty. With a 'fa' sound. Hear the difference? If you can't I can demonstrate some other words with the 'fa' sound."
"That's not very nice," muttered the blonde girl, and both of the boys shot her a glare.
"No, no, no," Stiles stopped him, reaching into his pocket. "I think I'm recalling it now. Maybe I just got it confused with forty." He placed another twenty on the table, but Boyd wasn't budging. He put a chip in his mouth and chewed it rather intimidatingly. "Come on, man, have you seen the piece of crap Jeep that I drive?"
Boyd countered with raised eyebrows, "Have you guys seen the piece of crap bus that I take?"
They couldn't argue with that without sounding like complete and utter assholes, so Stiles pulled out a ten and said, "Fifty."
"Pleasure doing business with you." Vernon smiled with no teeth, and it was kind of creepy. He handed over the keys, though. Stiles and April got up and walked back to where Scott was sitting.
Taking a seat in the chair diagonal from him, the blonde informed the McCall boy, "The keys are secured."
"I'm still not sure about this," Scott complained, looking back and forth between his best friends that just glared back in shock and a small amount of anger.
"What do you mean, Scott?" the Sharpe girl exclaimed. They did not just go through all that for nothing. "We just paid fifty dollars for you stupid little double date."
Stiles' jaw hit the floor in surprise. "'We?' You paid for nothing. You didn't even help at all. You just sat there making your stupid little comments. I paid for everything."
"Well, I still don't think that I should have to pay for something that I'm not even going to enjoy. I'm gonna be sitting there while you two make out with your...girl people," April complained. She had done this before when they first thought of the idea. She did not want to fifth wheel.
Turning to her with a look that said he was over it and ready to move on, Stiles pointed out, "Well, you don't have to come."
"So now, you two are just going to leave me out of everything just because you have girl people?"
"Can you two calm down?" Scott quizzed, glancing between his fighting friends. "I'm coming, okay? So are you, April. I promise that we'll include you. I'll even make out with you if it will make you feel better."
The blonde smiled back at him. "Aw, Scott. That's so sweet. I love you, but I'd much rather make out with your girlfriend."
"We'll pick you up right after work tonight and we'll meet at the rink, cool?" Stiles asked, switching the subject from making out with girlfriends and back to the 'important' stuff.
The conversation came to a crashing halt as Scott was distracted by someone walking in the door of the cafeteria. Stiles and April turned around to see what he was gaping at, and then all three of them were doing it.ย
Erica was strutting into the room in high heels, a leather jacket, and a mini skirt. She looked so freaking amazing. It was crazy. She made her way over to some random table and took a bite of this guy's apple. She made eye contact with him, and it looked like he was about to faint.ย
Lydia leaned on the table behind them, interrupting their trances. She questioned, "What the holy hell is that?"
"Hot," April responded quickly, and Lydia looked at her is disbelief. Feeling like she said the wrong thing, the blonde continued with a wink, "But you're hotter."
"It's Erica," Scott answered, ignoring April who was still a little bit dazed.
With a smirk, Erica spun on her heel and walked back out of the cafeteria, swaying her hips as she went. All three best friends got up and followed her, leaving Lydia and their food behind. They rushed behind her out the door just in time to see her climb into a black Camaro. Derek Hale turned to them from the driver's seat with a grin before driving off, leaving the teens shocked and confused.
Why was he turning so many people?
AUTHOR'S NOTE
Erica is a very hot werewolf now, and April is being a chaotic bisexual, and i absolutely love it. I hate that we don't get much of Isaac in this episode, but at least we got a cute Danny moment. I'll see you all next time. I love you!
