𝐈𝐓 𝐈𝐒 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐔𝐌𝐌𝐄𝐑 𝐎𝐅 1612. the king and queen of france invite all the royals; the king of england and his family, the queen of scotland and the king of spain and his family, to his home for the summer. it is the annual summer festive, a festival that has been celebrated for many years now. it is a time to open the marriage market and celebrate the first ray of sunshines of summer in the beautiful franch. this year the royals are coming with different goals. their eldest children, the heirs to the throne, need to get married, while the kings and queens want more power and money.

there will be romance, betrayal, drama and quite a summer adventure in france. it's up to you how you want to spend the summer in the country of love.
will it be true love or lust ?

it is not only about marriage. between the kingdoms it is all about power. who has the biggest army, the biggest land ? marriage it is not always about love, it about alliances and arrangements. the queen invites all the royals to marry her son to a good lady, but also create some drama. she lives for power and wants more and more.

however, if you thought your secrets where safe in the castle of france, you thought wrong. lady whistledown will keep an eye on you.
she is always watching !
everything the royals have worked for, can be destroyed. all the royals have their past, their secrets, their gossip. but one person has the power to destroy it all. lady whistledown is in the house and she is ready to destroy the lives of the spoiled royals. they don't deserve the power, because they never look at their people. she wants change!
do not think your secrets are safe anymore at the french court.

every royal has a secret, something they are ashamed of, something they don't want anyone to know. they will take this secret to their grave. it is really important for the reputation that no one knows, so royals, keep it this way. or do you want your status to fall down?

𝐅𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐄, 1612, is the setting of this roleplay. we do not know the french culture or the timezone, but that doesn't matter. just use your imagination and maybe you remember some history of your classes (haha) about this time.
i based this time of on the serie reign, that was set in 1600. just keep in mind the clothes, the jewelry, the hairstyles, etc. from this time to use for your own characters and for the roleplay. this roleplay is especially about the marriage and power between the kingdoms, the royals are looking for love, drama, lust, secrets, etc.

this roleplay is set in europe and important are the four biggest kingdoms of this time of the roleplay: france, england, spain & scotland.
— first, the kingdom of france. the king and queen were married out of love, but their love slipped away. the king sleeps around with his mistresses, the queen became cold and evil. they have two children together, a son and a daughter. the king has also a son with one of his many mistresses, but she died when she gave birth. the kingdom has been important for many years, especially for their fabric, clothes and jewelry. they trade in their stuff over all the country of europe. the kingdom has a tradition to spend the summer with the other royals, also this year as usual. they have been planning it for months.

— second, the biggest country is england. they have been trading over sea for many years. their ships are the biggest and the prettiest of them all. their location, surrounded by water, is very important for their trading. the royal family has been known for their harmony and love for each other. the king and queen have a strong relationship and two beautiful daughters. they have never problems or secrets, or so they say.

— third, the kingdom of spain, known for their spices and the biggest army of europe. his king is a soldier himself, always fighting in the war next to his soldiers and people, what made him an aloof king. the queen has passed away, sadly, what broke the harmony in the kingdom of spain. the king and queen have three children, two sons and one daughter.

— lastly, the kingdom of scotland, if you can still call it that. it has been burned down to the grounds in a terrible fire. the queen survived, with some of her closest friends. not anyone of her family survived. her parents, she is an only child, wanted to safe their people and their daughter first before they saved themselves , what cost their death. it broke the now queens heart. she wasn't ready to lose her parents, but she is ready to rule, even if she has to rule on the hard way.
