A summer breeze is flowing to the kingdom of Europe. The time has come to place our bets for the upcoming social season, the wedding season. All the gentleman and ladies are coming to the kingdom of France, the beautiful palace in southern Paris.
The Royal families come from all the corners of the country. It is a special time for the ladies as well as the men. Today it is the most important and yet terrifying day of their lives. Today is the day that the ladies and gentleman of Europe are going to present themselfs to the majesty, this year the queen of France. The marriage market has been an important tradition in France, to make marriage arrangements between rich families.
All eyes are on the misses of this year, coming of age to be wed, maybe to a duke, a lord or even a prince.
— But don't forget, the brighter a lady shines, the faster she may burn.

All eyes are on the gentlemen. What will their reaction be on the first glimps of the misses of this year? Who would take their breath away? We all know that the prince of France needs a wife to marry, who is going to be the lucky one?
— Are they looking for love or lust?

All the royals and misses from high standards are coming to the palace to spend their summer here, especially because it is a tradition to spend the summer in the beautiful France, were the flowers grow and the sun shines. Royals will join this summer festive as well as the duke and baron families of France. This year it is also because of marriage. Behind every fun event there is a catch. Everyone comes to find a husband or wife, very useful to gather in France. The queen of France will do everything to marry her only son to a perfect daughter, the future queen. Just like every year, there will be a marriage market in the society of Europe, but only for the richest families of the society.

You can hear the sound of horses on the tiles of the streets on France. The carriages are arriving at the castle this very minute. Everyone dressed in their most pretty and expensive dresses or suits, just to get a good first impression.
The mamas, ready to wed their daughters and sons. The papas, making business arrangements. Every year it is the same. Hopefully you are already used to the inspecting scans of the mamas and the alcohol breaths of the papas. This year has a twist, because their will be a lady watching you, even when you do not know it. Lady Whistledown has arisen, but we all know she would like to keep her identity a secret.

This years welcoming party is hosted by the queen of France. We all know the queen as the money waster, she would take every apportunity for an extravagant party. Even this year, the year were the marriage market will take place in her castle. The night will begin with an extravagant, huge 𝐁𝐀𝐋𝐋, outside to celebrate the warm summer night. The lights are hanging from tree to tree, the floor ready to be danced on, the band playing beautiful music on their instruments, the food as delicious as always, the roses in full bloom, the wine bottles piled up.
It will be a perfect night.

The night will started with the entrance of the ladies. They will be walking over a carpet of white fabric, everyone watching the ladies on this years marriage market. The queen and king of France on their throne, surrounded by their servants and the other royals. Everyone is dressed in the most expensive silks and fabrics. After your entrance, you will move to the garden, where there will be a huge buffet with snacks and alcohol, with a dance floor in the middle. It is already dark and the stars are shining in the dark blue sky.

But behind the bushes, out of sight for the other guests, there is a big rock, called the 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐒 𝐑𝐎𝐂𝐊, because you can look out over the sea with a beautiful sight on the sky full of stars. A perfect place for some love or lust. Some say it is a perfect spot to flirt, to kiss or to chat. You can take a break there, from all the hustle of the ball, but you will certainly be followed by some stunning men or women. Who would have the courage to go there? And more important, with whom?
