Mark pov

Today when I was on my way to school I didn't see GoEun, I guess she left earlier than me. I got to class but she wasn't here either, Class started and the teacher started doing the attendance.

"Kim GoEun." The teacher called out but there was no response.

"GoEun is sick today," Jiyeon said. Maybe I should visit her, she might not take care of her self well.

TIME SKIP

I am hungry! I went to the convenience store to by ramen, I ran into Hyeyeon.

"Hi Mark."

"Hey," I replied.

"Are you busy right now?" She asked.

" Not right now," I said.

" I want to ask you a favor," she said.

" Sure what kind?"

"I am sure you're wondering what happened with GoEun and Sangmin well I guess you should know." We went to the seats that were within the store. Wait... Why is she telling me this? As much as I love my ramen, I will sacrifice my time.

FLASHBACK

GoEun was a bright girl she like making people happy, she was well known for making people laugh in school. Until one-day Sangmin confessed that he liked her, He was faking it all just to be known who broke her heart.

They started dating and at that time I was staying at her parents' house. She would always tell me about him 24/7. They were dating for a month I think so, The way he broke up with her was him kissing another girl.

When GoEun got home her eyes were red and puffy, The next day her hair was short like up to her ears. She went from bright to scary. Everyone in the school could feel a dark vibe so they stopped hanging out with GoEun. Her friend Sumin stuck with her no matter the situation. She lost a bunch of weight like you could almost see her bones but she at more because her parents were getting stressed seeing their daughter like that.

When it came to graduation day GoEun didn't want to go but her parents forced her. Instead of wearing her glasses she wore her contact lenses, she kind of look f=different but I prefer her with glasses.

When she got there Sangmin was flirting with other girls, The crowd of girls separated because they saw GoEun. She grabbed Sangmin's collar and said: "You are going to regret someday of changing me." With that, she walked away.

FLASHBACK ENDS

"That's why I need you to make GoEun back into her normal self, and let me guess your thinking why me? Well, GoEun is that type that anyone talked to her she nodded her head or stays silent. So basically I'm sure you disturbed her too much that she started talking more than before." Hyeyeon said. I wasn't the first person to talk to her though but... I guess I might do it. GoEun could find someone better than Sangmin.

"Okay will help," I said.

"Forgot to give you something." Hyeyeon got something out of her bag and handed me a picture of someone.

"Wait, who is this?" I asked before she could run away.

"That was GoEun before turning scary, she really didn't like taking pictures. See you later." Hyeyeon said before walking away... more like speed walking away.

GoEun looks cute, what am I saying?! I grab my ramen and left the store. I passed GoEun's door maybe I should see if she is ok. I knocked on the door but there was no response, I knocked on the door again the door opened. GoEun looked scarier than her normal self, the Korean version of Medusa.

"Hey," I said, She just walked away almost closing it, I came in and closed the door.

" Yah how come you didn't tell me you were sick." She just kept quiet. I touched her head it was really hot.

"Since when did you care?" She said coldly but her throat was sore so... she kinda didn't say it coldly?

"Since last Friday, anyways did you take your medicine?" I asked.

"Not yet." She started heading to her room, but she almost fell. I caught her and carried her into her room. Then I went to make some porridge.

GoEun pov

FLASHBACK

"Pabo-yah why did you come when you were sick?" Sang Min said.

"I didn't want to miss class and you," GoEun said.

"Promise me you won't do that again," GoEun promised and nodded her head.

FLASHBACK ENDS

Tears fell down my cheek, Why do I feel so emotional when it comes to him. I need to stop crying but my tears are still going. I held my knees and cried silently. I heard footsteps coming in my room I really didn't want to look who it was.

"Oh, GoEun your already awake I thought you would sleep longer," Mark said but out of nowhere, I felt him hugging me.

"Yah stop crying you look ugly when you cry." He said and I started laughing a bit and wiping my tears at the same time, "I am not joking you really do look ugly." 

"Get out." I said and he starts laughing, " Do you want possessed GoEun to come back? she said she will be happy to come back at any time." That made him stop laughing.

"By the way, I made porridge so don't eat it cold, ok?" He said getting up like he was about to go.

"Are you sure you didn't infect it?" I asked then coughed.

"I see, two can play that game... I am leaving so see you tomorrow?" I nodded my head but he moved his face closer to my face. I closed my eyes tight and he put his lips on my forehead.

"There that will make it better!" He said, Is this the first time I found him cute? Nope, he is still the jerk that he is. Mark left and I came to lock the door later on then I saw a small note with the porridge.

I chuckle as I saw the note, this guy is something else but I feel too embarrassed to confront him tomorrow. I ate the porridge and then went to bed.
