SUMMARY !

LAUREL KNOWLES loved her life and the small town of Charming that she had spent her whole life in. Sure, her love life was fucked up ( for years she danced a sloppy dance with a certain member of SAMCRO ) at its best but she was a beloved guidance counselor at the local school. She thrived in the small town — something her younger sister never could do.

TARA KNOWLES was the younger sister that wanted more from her hometown. She was desperate for something more than becoming Jax Teller's old lady, so Tara left Charming for Chicago, leaving behind the prince of Charming, but also leaving behind her older sister.

LAUREL was fine with Tara leaving, the sisters never really connected in a way sisters usually did but with Tara gone it also meant Laurel had to take care of their mean alcoholic father all by herself.

RESENTMENT festered in Laurel's body; resentment towards Tara and their father. Why should Laurel give up her life to take care of their drunk father while Tara got to live hers without a care in the world. Why couldn't their father just stop his drinking — both were questions that Laurel knew would ever be answered no matter how many times she asked.

NOW after the death of their father, Tara comes back to Charming with a holy than thou attitude, forcing Laurel to deal with the broken relationship the sisters have and her fucked up love life as well.
