The event was finally here. A two-day event with a sports festival on the first day and prom on the second day. A fun way to end a school year.

Y/N helped a lot in organizing the event and was excited to take part in it but her excitement took a whole 360° turn in just a few seconds for her getting out of her bed.

"FUCK!!! WHY DOES THIS HAPPEN TO ME?!" She shouted at top of her lungs after her eyes noticed the red blood spot on the bedsheet. Her periods decided to say hi on the wrong day.

She pulled her hair with frustration "I can take part in the sports festival now!!"

She registered her name for every game that was going to be played and now she can't take part in any of them. Well, looks like her taking part in those games wasn't meant to happen. Anyways, it's nice or else others wouldn't have won any prizes because she would've scooped all of them away with her.

She freshened up and cleaned her bedsheet before spreading a brand new one that she could throw herself on. She lay on her bed while the slight pain started building and could probably kill her if she moved from her position. The female grabbed her phone and called Chifuyu.

"Hello?" He said from the other side and Y/N could hear the voices of other students that were filled with excitement. "Y/N where are you? The decorations look really nice. Make it quick or else you'll miss the games."

Y/N sighed and rolled to the other side of her bed as she stared at the ceiling. "I can't come so can you do me a favour and have my name removed from all the games I took part in?"

"You can't come?" He reconfirmed.

"Yes... I am not feeling well."

"Alright, I'll do your job. Also, take care of yourself ok? Don't do stupid things that will make your situation worse because I don't trust you with that. I know you won't stay in one place! But! Please rest and don't jump around!" He nagged at her making her gasp "What you mean by that? I don't do stuff like that."

"Chifuyu, the races are about to start. Let's go!!" Y/N heard Yoko's voice and it was enough for her mood to turn the opposite of what she had while talking to him.

"Y/N, if you don't feel good even after resting... Then call me, I'll visit you."

"You don't need to do that!"

"You are not the one to decide. I'll decide whether or not to come to you. Now, I'll get going..."

"I hope you win! Bye-bye!"

She waited for him to cut the call and when he did she threw her phone across the bed and buried her face in her pillow.

Why does he give me mixed signals?!

"Chifuyu, I like you!!" The H/C haired female confessed as the two stood in the middle of nowhere. White clouds surrounded them and slow music could be heard in the background.

Chifuyu's eyes widened at the confession. He frowned and took her hands back from Y/N's grip as he took a step back and turned around with his back facing Y/N.

"I thought we were friends Y/N! And you just ruined it!! You know I have a girlfriend right?! Then how did you think that I would date you? That's pathetic!" He said in a harsh tone and walked away while Y/N fell on her knees and saw the blonde male going far away.

"How dare you confess to my boyfriend?!" Yoko shouted at her from behind. Y/N turned around and saw her having the angriest look on her face. "He is my boyfriend!! Stay away from him!!! You-"

Just before Yoko could finish her sentence Y/N's eyes opened up. The surroundings were different this time. Instead of the unknown place, she was in her room and that's when the realization hit her.

She was dreaming!!

Y/N took a deep breath and sat up on her bed. "What's wrong with me?!" She groaned. At this point, she was sure that she had lost her mind. Dreaming about getting rejected by Chifuyu... Hopeless being. Her mind wandered off in different directions before an idea popped up in her head.

"How about I go and watch the sports festival?"

If she can't take part in the event, it doesn't mean that she can't go and watch. She got a sudden energy boost and got off her bed to get ready. She decided to go there secretly without informing any of her friends but was that going to happen?

"Everyone!! On your mark... Get... Set...Go!!" The sentence was ended with a gunshot and all the participants began their run towards victory. Y/N made her way through all the people, watching the event and stood in the corner which looked quite secretive.

Her eyes wandered off towards everyone only in an attempt to find her friends. But was she really looking for her friends or was it someone else, whom she couldn't get off her head?

"Y/N! What are you doing here?" A voice asked her out which made the poor female flinch. She looked at her side only to find out that the person was none other than Mikey.

"Chifuyu said that you were sick and that you wouldn't come... But here you are."

How-? Why? Why is he here?!

"Mikey... Aren't you supposed to be taking part in the event?"

Mikey sighed and leaned on the metal divider that was separating the race tracks from the audience seats. "It's boring... I already won like five races and don't wanna do more..."

"You won five races?"

He gave a nod and took out the gold medals from his bag. "See" he grinned. Y/N smiled as her eyes looked at the shining article. "Congrats on your win."

"This aside... Why are you here? Shouldn't you be resting?"

"I was resting but I got bored and decided to come and watch." She chuckled.

Mikey leaned closer to Y/N and touched her forehead to check her temperature which was normal until he decided to check it. "You are burning up!!" He exclaimed. Y/N jerked his hand away and faced the other side to cool herself down.

If it wasn't for your stupid ass to suddenly come this close, my temperature would have been normal!!

"Y/N is your friend here?" He asked.

"Friend...?"

"The one who accidentally wrote letters to Chifuyu?"

"Ah- her... She- Um didn't take part in the event. She's not very athletic you know..."

Mikey smiled and pointed at the participants of the nest race which happened to be a three-leg race. "Do you see Chifuyu and his girlfriend... If your friend was her she would've been heartbroken." He finished his sentence and looked at Y/N who was looking at the couple with no so happy face.

"Yeah..." She spoke up and looked at Mikey "She would have been heartbroken..."

Mikey knew that bringing up this topic ruined her whole mood and he didn't like it. "Y/N, do you wanna hang out? The event is boring anyways."

"What?"

He held her hand and dragged her out of the school "We can go to many interesting places!!" He doesn't let her speak anything and Y/N doesn't feel like saying anything either... After seeing Chifuyu and Yoko she doesn't feel like staying either.

"Mikey!! Fucking save me! Don't just stand there and watch!!" Y/N screamed as she ran for her life from the ducks that were chasing her. "Y/N just feed them something," Mikey replied.

"I gave them everything I had!!"

Mikey brought Y/N to a park and she found it interesting when she saw people feeding the ducks but now she just regretted her decisions.

Mikey chuckled and took out his phone to record the moment. "Y/N if you ran that fast in the race you would've gotten a gold medal!!"

"I'll fucking kill you if you don't help me!!"

"I am ready to die."

"Mikey!! You asshole!!" She screamed as the rollercoaster dropped down from the highest point. Mikey made a bet with her and the lower had the go on the ride that the winner tells them to and Y/N lost.

Mikey was sitting on a bench wearing sunglasses and had a coke in his hand.

"Mikey...." He heard Y/N's voice. His head slowly lifted and he couldn't help but laugh at her situation. "I'll kill you!!" She shouted and he took a run for it.

The rest of the day passed just like that. Y/N cussing, screaming and shouting at Mikey for everything they did together but in the end, she forgot about Chifuyu and enjoyed the day anyways.

"Y/N I am sorry for everything..." He chuckled.

"Don't talk to me."

"I am sincerely sorry..."

"That won't work. Do something that can make me forgive you."

Mikey thought for a while before an idea popped up in his head "How about I let you in on something?"

"And what is that?"

"I asked Chifuyu about the letters."

Y/N stopped on her track and looked at him "What did you say? You asked him about the letters?!"

"Yes, I did and do you know what he said as a reply?"

"What?"

"He said that he never received any sort of letter..."
