"Chifuyu, I told you that I am fine now. You don't need to waste your time on me. Plus, you have a part-time job too. Your time is precious." Y/N tried explaining to him but he wasn't ready to accept it. He rolled his eyes and grabbed her wrist, dragging her along with him. 

"Just tell me where you wanna go and I'll take you." He said. 

This was the first time she has seen him being so stubborn. She had no other option than to accept his offer. "Fine. First I want to go to the new cat cafe. Everyone has been talking about it." 

"But I thought you didn't like cats..."

"I never said that I don't like cats. I just like dogs more." 

"I see. Alright then, our first stop is cat cafe!!"

The friends took a bus which was only a 20-minute ride. The cat cafe has been really famous around the area and Y/N  always wanted to go there but she never got the opportunity to do so. There were several reasons for that. She had school and helped her father at the shop, and her time management skills are really poor plus she always wanted to go there with a friend.

"I've been here quite a few times," Chifuyu stated as they walked up the stairs to the cafe. 

"You have?!"

Chifuyu nodded his head as he continued walking, leaving the H/C female behind. "How is the interior?" She inquired while getting excited about her visit to the cat cafe. "It's pretty good. Probably the best cat cafe around the area." 

The cool air from AC hit their faces as they entered the cafe. The vanilla fragrance and the meowing of the cats made Y/N excitement even more. "Welcome" greeted the receptionist with a smile. 

"Hii" Y/N beamed and walk over the counter. "We are very happy to welcome you to this cat cafe. How may I help you?" 

Y/N and Chifuyu brought the 1-hour package and filled the forms, changed their footwear, and made their way inside. Y/N's eyes sparkled as she saw the cats. Some of them walked up to her rubbed their faces on her leg which made her feel tickles. 

"They are so cute!!" 

Chifuyu sat down on the carpet and picked up one of the cats while others hopped onto his shoulders and head. "They love you" Y/N chuckled. 

"Y/N, do you know I have a pet cat too..." 

Her brows shot up as she recalled one of her letters that she received from Mikey who talked about his cat. "Do you wanna see it?" he asked. 

"Sure! After we are done here, let's go to see your cat!" 

"What if... those letters were written by Chif- No no, that can't be"

"I wanna come here once again!!" She said as she hopped while moving forward just like a kid. "My heart would've exploded from the cuteness."

Chifuyu let out a chuckle as he walked with his hands in his pockets "I told ya, cats are better than dogs."

She stopped and glared at him "Dogs are better!"

Here comes the cat-dog fight. Can someone tell them that both the animals are nice and not to compare them to each other?

"Cats are!"

"Dogs!"

"Cats!"

"Dogs!"

The two bickered about cats and dogs till the time they reached Chifuyu's apartment. "Has your cat ever ran away?" She asked as she leaned at the railing to see at what height they were at.

"He always runs away but comes back."

"Woah! I wish cats at my pet shop were like that. Even when I take care of all of them as my pets, they still run away."

Chifuyu unlocked his door and walked in, switching the lights on and kept the keys on top of the shoe rack. "Well... They hate you I guess. Because you like dogs more." He teased.

"Oh please! I know that's not the reas-" Her words were cut off when her eyes fell on the black cat who was making his way towards Chifuyu.

"So cute!!" She beamed and picked it up but the cat seemed to not like it and scratched Y/N's cheek, tearing the skin with his claws.
Y/N winced in pain but made sure not to drop the cat.

Chifuyu panicked and quickly took away the cat from Y/N. "What are you doing Excalibur!!?"

"What-?" The word came out of Y/N's mouth. "Excal... What? What did you call the cat?"

"Excalibur..." Chifuyu repeated the cat's name.

Even though Y/N was in pain, she laughed. "Excalibur? That's the name of your cat?" She looked at Excalibur who was frowning at her. "That's a weird name."

"Hey! It's not a weird name!! It's cool."

"It's hard to pronounce."

"I don't care." He turned his face to the right side and the cat did it too.

"Fine... But can you give me first aid?"

"Oh right!" Chifuyu put the cat on the floor and ran further inside his house.

Excalibur stared with the most annoyed look a cat can have while Chifuyu cleaned Y/N's wound and put the bandage. "Your cat hates me. See the look he is giving me."

Chifuyu glanced at him and the cat changed his expressions. "Seems fine to me."

"Believe me he just changed the look! I have never seen a cat like him before."

"He must be hungry. I have some games near the tv, take a look at them and select one that we can play while I feed this little guy."

"Sure."

"This is cheating Chifuyu!!" Y/N shouted as she moved to the side to get a better view of the screen but Chifuyu was putting his hand in front of her eyes.

"Are you losing so badly that you need to block my view?!"

"As much as I hate to admit it... Yes!!"

Y/N laughed the pushed Chifuyu to the side making him fall on the couch. "Now you are cheating!!"

"You did it first!"

He quickly got up stood in front of Y/N. "CHIFUYU!!!" She shouted on top of her lungs. She grabbed his collar from behind and throw him on the couch again which made the screen go black.

"The joystick got disconnected!!"

"It's all your fault!"

"You were the one who pushed me! How is it my fault?"

"You were the one who started cheating!"

Y/N sighed and sat on the couch, relaxing her brain by taking deep breaths. "I won." She declared.

"How? We couldn't even complete the game."

"But I was winning so I win."

The two stayed quiet after that and stared at the ceiling like it was some type of masterpiece in an art museum. "Do you wanna eat ice cream?" He asked.

"Sure."

Chifuyu brought two bowls of chocolate ice cream from the kitchen and gave one to Y/N. "Thanks!!"

"Did you enjoy it?" He asked.

"Yeah, I did. Thanks for today."

"I am glad you enjoyed it. Also sorry for cheating... It must've ruined your mood."

"No, it didn't ruin anything. Everything was fun. I think I can move on from Milo. I'll try to cherish his memories like you told me to."

"If you want you can come and meet Excalibur anytime."

"Ah- I think I'll skip that part. He seems to hate me." She said as she glanced at the cat sleeping in the corner of the room.

"I don't think he hated you. He is like that whenever he sees someone new. I am sure you both will become best buddies."

"I'll make sure to wear a helmet."

Chifuyu laughed "No need to do it. He won't attack you again."

Y/N felt her heart race whenever she looked at Chifuyu. A strange feeling she never experienced was surfacing itself. "I hope so..." She said and put down the bowl on the coffee table. "I'll get going now."

"Ok." He replied and accompanied her to the main door.

"Let's hang out next time too."

"Sure! Just tell me and I'll be at your service~"

Y/N chuckled and proceeded to open the door but before she could do it, the door opened from the other side revealing a girl.

"Oh! Yoko?" Chifuyu spoke up.

The girl looked past Y/N and a huge smile formed on her face. Y/N stepped aside and gave the girl way to Chifuyu. "Chifuyu!!" She beamed and wrapped her arms around his neck. He placed his hands on her waist and maintained his balance with her.

"How are you?" She asked in her sweet voice.

"Fine as always" Chifuyu replied and broke the hug.

"Who... Is she?" Y/N asked.

Both the heads turned towards her "She is Yoko... My girlfriend."
