Y/N's parents own a two-story house and the ground floor is turned into a pet shop. They always make sure that every animal is sent to a nice household, they don't want bad owners to adopt a pet and then abandon it.

"I'm home!!" She said as she entered the house.

"Detention again? You'll be in second year starting next month and you are still getting late to school." Her dad said as he petted a cat in his arms. "If that little fellow in your arms didn't run away because of the employee then I wouldn't have to go through detention."

"Ok ok, anyways go and freshen up and then can you help with the shop?"

"Sure"

Y/N went upstairs to her room and changed her clothes. "Y/N eat before you help your dad" Her mom called out from the kitchen. She quickly finished her food and went on with helping her dad. She loves animals so she never says no if her dad needs help.

When she walked into the shop she saw someone new. He wasn't a customer because he was wearing an apron which was for the employees. "Oh Y/N meet him. He's Matsuno Chifuyu. He is going to work as a part-timer here." Her dad informed. Chifuyu turned around to face Y/N.

"Oh, it's you from the morning." He said. Y/N was a bit confused. She tried to recall and that's when the memory struck. She bowed "I'm sorry for bumping into you"

"Oh no don't apologize it's fine"

"Can you explain everything to him?" Her dad asked and she nodded in response. "Follow me!" She said and led the way.

"Look in this room we keep all the baby animals."

Both Y/N and Chifuyu looked at the animals in awe. They were too cute to just stand around and watch. Chifuyu walked forward and started playing with them and Y/N joined him too. "You love animals right?" Y/N spoke up and he hummed in response.

"Me too, I love all kinds of animals but you know what, dogs are the best!!" She beamed as she played with one of the puppies. Chifuyu stayed silent for a sec. "You are wrong!! Cats are the best!!"

The tension between the two increased. Chifuyu picked up a kitten and brought it up to Y/N's face. "Look!! Look how cute cats are!! I know all animals are cute but cats are just too cute."

"Chifuyu dogs are better!! You can't change my mind!"

"CATS ARE BEST!"

"NO DOGS"

"CATS"

"DOGS"

"YOU TWO SHUT UP!! WE HAVE CUSTOMERS HERE" Y/N's dad came in and scolded. "But dad, tell him that dogs are better"

"No cats are"

"For me, rabbits are the best" Her dad stated and walked away leaving Y/N and Chifuyu wordless. Chifuyu sighed "Let's leave this topic. Our debate will never end"

"Yeah"

Both of them put down the animals and exited the room. "Y/N, Milo has a doctor's appointment today. I am busy so can you take him?" Her dad asked.

"Who's Milo?" Chifuyu asked. "Oh, he's the puppy I was playing with. He isn't vaccinated yet"

"The appointment is at 5 pm and it's already 4:30. You should get going"

"Chifuyu you wanna come?" She asked. Chifuyu didn't know what to answer. "Yeah, that would be nice. Chifuyu can make sure that you don't do something stupid on the way" her dad chuckled.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY THAT?!" She shouted.

"Who knows? You're always doing something stupid"

"Do you have any pets?" Y/N asked while she walked with Chifuyu to the vet.

"Yes, I do. I have a cute little cat." He replied.

It hasn't been more than an hour since they met so they didn't have anything to talk about. Both of them just stayed silent and Y/N could feel Chifuyu staring at her few times. "Can you stop staring are me?" She asked which made Chifuyu blush with embarrassment.

He's cute. She thought as she smiled to herself.

"Sorry" He apologized.

Soon they were at the vet. Y/N showed the appointment card and the employee-led her to the room. She stopped right before the door and looked at Chifuyu. "Can you take Milo in?" She asked.

"Huh, sure I can. But why?"

"Actually I can't see him getting an injection"

"He's the one who's going to get vaccinated not you. Don't be scared" He chuckled as he took Milo from Y/N's arms. "I know that but I just don't want to."

"Don't worry, I'll take him" He said and smiled at her.

Y/N was waiting in the lobby as she scrolled through her phone. Wonder what Mikey is doing. Did he see the letter? I hope he did.

"Y/N I'm back!" Chifuyu said in a cheerful voice, dragging Y/N out of her thoughts. "Finally!! I've been waiting for a long time" She groaned and started petting Milo.

"Thanks for the help"

"Did your brother mention anything about the letter?" Y/N asked Emma. "Why would he tell me about it? Isn't it supposed to be personal?"

"Yeah right"

"But I wonder what type of letter you wrote." Emma sighed "It must've started like 'Dear Manjiro , I like you' " She said dramatically.

"Is that how you start a letter?" Y/N asked. Emma looked at her in disbelief. "You don't know how to start a letter?!"

"No..."

Let me tell you one thing before starting this letter. I don't know how to write it but I'll do my best!!

I'll be straight to the point. I like you. It's been a while since you first caught my attention and I found you really cool. I won't ask you to date me but I would like to be friends with you and who knows what happens next. Maybe we might grow closer.

I also don't want to reveal myself because it will get really awkward since we don't know much about eachother. To be more precise , You don't know much about Me.

I am the type of person who would write a joke in a letter but since this is supposed to be a 'LOVE LETTER' , I won't do it. I would really like an answer from you. If you agree on being friends with me then write me a letter in exchange and put in locker A20 and if you disagree then just don't put anything , I'll understand :)
