LETTER TO LUNA

LUNA HAD NEVER BEEN IN LOVE BEFORE THE FEELING WAS SO NEW IT HURT. I think that's why she took him missing the movie so hard she didn't care about the movie she just wanted to be around HIM .

She couldn't describe this feeling her best way to put it was that anytime she saw Ethan her fingers were caught in her hair twisting it around and around and around forming KNOTS her stomach felt as if fireworks were going off not just any fire works pink sparkly ones that formed into hearts and BUTTERFLIES flew around them.

And the fact that she didn't understand what this feeling was, she didn't know how to react to that MOMENT she had with Notti she didn't even know her face could do that, it was normal for her not to speak but it's like her breaths couldn't even be heard she was STUCK .

At this moment dd, ddot and Lucas had be watching the INTERACTION , the three both staring as if they were watching some movie.

"Notti- I...." She tried to find words but simply just couldn't, Notti's face held a look of hope though he could sense where this was going.

LUNA backed away from his touch turning around running back inside her house, coming in CONTACT with dd her father and Ddot her face went red zooming past them and up the stairs , all three of the boys eyes moved towards Notti who had been standing there stuck his eyes looking at his hand that once touched Luna.

"I think....yea we're gonna go it was nice meeting you" dd shook Luna's dads hand grabbing Ddot running out the house making sure to shut the door on their way.

"Notti my heart-

"Let's just go" He began walking ahead of them, dd and Ddot would both be lying if they said they didn't feel bad for the boy , he was in complete LOVE and it was as if she just turned him   down.

Luna had been in her bedroom though her legs pulled to her chest wrapping her arms around them, she regretted what she just did but she was scared she couldn't help it—scared wasn't even the word she was terrified, she was afraid to fall in love with Notti.

"Lou" Her father knocked on her bedroom door before slowly opening it, the blue lights in her room indicated her mood GLOOMY .

Lifting her head up her wet eyes looked over at her father, her nose being more perkier and glossier than usual.

"Daddy I'm so stupid" She hit her head, her voice cracking "I just RAN away why did I run why did I do that what's wrong with me" she repeatedly hit her leg trying to " PUNISH " herself.

"Okay first let's stop hitting yourself" he walked towards his daughter grabbing her hands, sitting down on her full sized BED.

"Why did you run?" He asked her, as if she knew why she ran because she didn't know..

"Dad that's the thing I don't know!" She raised her voice at him somewhat; he didn't mind it because he knew she wasn't in her right state of mind at this very MOMENT .

"I started getting this weird feeling in my stomach and my cheeks starting burning and my voice wouldn't work I was scared" she explained using her hands, her dad KNEW exactly what that feeling was he'd never admit it again but that was the same feeling he got when he met her "mother" .

"I know that feeling." He nodded giving her a small smile shaking his head, his daughter was IN LOVE.

"Well  tell me so I know!" She shouted hitting her bed causing her dad to jump back a little "see relax." He grabbed her shoulder.

"Dad i need Notti to know why I ran I can't just do him like that, no explanation I just ran like a b.i.t.c.h" She spelt the word  out causing him to chuckle.

"You're in love with him Luna" he told her, Luna's eyes almost popped out of the socket in disbelief of what she just heard.

"I can't tell him that are you crazy" she wiped her wet eyes sniffling, "well that's the trut-

"I'm not in love dad I'm fourteen" she said as if that was an excuse, he just shrugged.

"Being in love doesn't have an age bracket" he assured her , but she just didn't wanna believe it.

"Dad me and in love don't go together and he for sure doesn't-

"You outta ya damn mind if you bouta say he doesn't like you or isn't in love with you...." He cut her off before she could say something incredibly STUPID .

"Dad this isn't as easy as you're making it seem...I have to avoid him he probably hates me now I made him hate me" she groaned throwing herself down onto her bed.

"No this isn't my fault you see how he switches this on ME he's tryna make me like him so that I- so that HE doesn't feel guilty" she stuttered standing up telling her dad pacing around the bedroom, his eyebrows furrowed.

"I'm sorry?" He questioned

"Dad don't you see this is a set up he's making me like him-

"Nobody can make you like them Luna you're going crazy." He rubbed his temples, he knew this would be difficult but he didn't think it would be this DIFFICULT .

"I need my journal" she fell to the floor groaning , lucas felt this was like when she got her first period all over again.

"I think you just need to rest lou" he suggested lifting her up from the floor .

"Dad i have to see him at school tomorrow" she stressed,

"Maybe that's a good thing." He tried to make light out of it.

"A good thing- nigga" she deadpanned him seeing her was not taking this SERIOUSLY.

"Luna you're going to have to talk to him sooner or later you can't always avoid him."

"Uhm yea I can-

"That wouldn't be fair to him tho..no explanation you just run on him" he told her, she realized how fucked that actually was to do .

"Fine...." Luna's hands went up in surrender going back to her bed, "do you need anything?" Her dad asked as he started walking towards the door.

"A Gun." She told shaking her head no, shaking his head he shut the door on his child chuckling.

"GOD!" She shouted into her pillow as he walked away , "this girl" he did the motion he did a few second ago rubbing his temples.

THE NEXT DAY CAME FASTER THAN EXPECTED AND SECOND PERIOD CAME EVEN FASTER , Luna and Notti sat in their assigned seats next to each other both focused on the paper that they had been working on.

The SILENCE was killing Luna she couldn't stand this feeling she hated not speaking to Notti for even 20 minutes so imagine a full day .

She'd look over at Notti every once in a while to see what he'd be doing and each time he'd either be doing his work or listening to music sometimes both but never did he bat an eye to Luna Celine , it was almost as if she was INVISIBLE.

The rest of the day went by INCREDIBLY long it was like the EARTH knew this was the day she had been dreading most and made it go on for so long on purpose.

Gripping onto her book bag a bummed Luna was getting ready to leave school since they had an early release day , she could see Notti walking a complete different direction normally on early leave days he'd walk her HOME .

WALKING , she bumped into two hard bodies almost causing her to fall but a FIRM grip wrapped around her boney arms.

"I'm sor- oh" she was cut off once she realized the people she bumped into were the ones closest to Notti.

Dd and Ddot

"Hi dd...hi Ddot" She greeted the boys shifting from one foot to another.

"Luna." Ddot called her by her first name dd slapped his arm , "hey Luna" dd politely greeted her back she had this weight lifted off her shoulders seeing dd wasn't acting a way towards her.

The three just stood there all standing awkwardly looking at each other, "uhm my moms having a get together this weekend I really think you should come" DD , told Luna clicking his tongue Ddot squinted his eyes turning to look at the boy in disbelief of what he just said.

"I don't think that's a good idea" she laughed nervously, her fingers meeting her hair...YK WHAT THAT MEANS.

"Yea I don't either" Ddot mumbled looking the other way.

"Nah you should come...." He disregarded what she THOUGHT.

" I'm not forcing you but you know you can text me if you wanna come or not and I can send you everything..." he invited before him and Ddot walked past her going the same way as NOTTI.

Great. Now she had a party that Notti was definitely gonna be at to attend, the universe was definitely not on her SIDE .
