LETTER TO LUNA

FOUR WEEKS SINCE THE TWO CALLED IT QUITS, four hard excruciating weeks especially since they shared the same friend group that's what made it harder.

"Y'all break up every five days— we broke up once Darrian and we had just started dating so this is like a real breakup..." Luna spoke correcting the boy.

Luna was over janelys house with Ddot, even though Notti was their cousin and their best friend they still had love for Luna and wouldn't stop hanging out with her just because the two weren't together anymore.

"So you think y'all done foreal?" Janelys asked, smacking her teeth Luna shrugged.

"Why y'all keep asking me bout that boy? We aren't together anymore that's that" she shrugged getting irritated by all the questions they were BOMBARDING her with .

"Sorry best, you right it's not about  Notti right now" janelys apologized.

"Uhm Anyways, if Notti was to start dating another girl you wouldn't be mad?" Ddot disregarded what she was saying.

"Ddot are you dumb? Like actually are you mentally challenged she just said she don't wanna talk— bro she saying that now" he smacked his teeth saying.

"I'm saying that forever stop I don't wanna keep thinking about him" She cut him off saying

Nodding Ddot rolled his eyes giving in,
He had to be the number one supporter of "NUNA" Notti came up with that not liking the other ship name...for obvious reasons .

Ddot was always the first to know new updates about the couple from Notti and hearing they broke up he felt as if it was his BREAKUP too.

"This Notti calling me Right now— want me to leave the room or?" Ddot asked as his phone began to ring

"I don't care" she shrugged pulling her phone out, nodding he answered the FaceTime.

Say goodbye , by Chris brown blaring in the background of the call the three teens eyed the phone.

"Notti fuck is you doing?" Ddot asked lowering the volume a little bit.

"Shiii chillin, smoking, listening to music....eating Nutella out the jar" he examined his room.

"I know his room hot and funky" janelys muttered jokingly.

"You tryna pull up? Smoke and shi I'm bored as ah bitch" he offered putting the blunt in between his lips, this new bored feeling he felt he truly didn't like—being with Luna he never felt or gotten bored.

"You not Pose' to be smoking ain't this like ya diet week— bro I'm not wit ha no more ion gotta go off what she telling me" he rolled hi eyes thinking about the girl, wincing Luna eyed her phone intensely as if she wasn't listening to the conversation.

"I can't come over there" Ddot told him twisting his braid.

"Why bro?" Notti asked.

"Im at Janelys crib right no— why you at my fucking cousin house? Fuck u got going on??" Notti sat up hissing at the boy.

"Notti calm down" She turned the phone towards her laughing.

"Y'all better not be on know grown shit y'all are kids, ion want no touching kissing nunnadat" he pointed at the phone— Luna twisted her lips tryna hide her laugh.

"Nigga go smoke ya life away ima see yo ass tomorrow" Ddot LAUGHED.

"Mtch, Ight my heart safety" he ended the call.

"Y'all what if his fans start sending me death threats" Luna gasped slapping her mouth, ddot squinted his eyes at her.

"Fuck would they do that fa? For anything they'll be happy ashit he not locked no more" he told her straight up, that made the girl feel sick hearing it from another person.

HE WAS NO LONGER HERS.

"Ddot when you going home?" Janelys asked him, jerking his head back he looked at her.

"me estas echando?" His voice softened speaking to her, Luna stared at the interaction.

"ni siquiera dije todo eso" she laughed looking away from him

"suenas como si quisieras que me vaya"

"Si pudiera, te mudaría a mi casa para que nunca nos separáramos."

"voy a hacer que suceda"he grinned at her growning red.

"No please continue!" Luna spoke making the two snap their heads at her .

"Nah I dead forgot you was here" janelys laughed covering her mouth, rolling her eyes Luna chuckled.

"Luna this exactly how I used to feel around you and Notti my heart" he laughed at Luna salty expressions.

"You gone get right soon" janelys assured her, side eyeing her Ddot wanted to know what she mean.

"What that mean?" He asked her , not speaking because Luna wanted to know as well they both looked at janelys.

"As in my good sis gone get a new nigga soon!" She clapped in hopes the other two would clap with her.

"No I'm never falling in love again" she shrugged saying.

"That's lil Notti right there ain't no new nigga janelys." Ddot pointed letting her know.

"I'm not lil nobody— exactly!" Janelys echoed.

"Janelys Bro shut uppppp" ddot threw his head down getting tired of her two cents.

"Bouta lock her and Notti inna room again at this point" he stood up muttering to himself walking into janelys bathroom.

BLASTED through Luna's airpod max's as she adjusts them walking in the hallway of her school. It was her free period so she decided to just roam the halls.

"What da heck I gotta dooo to be wit you" she sung low to herself looking down at her phone as she continued walking, staring intently at the musical she was watching on her phone she didn't think to LOOK up.

Bumping into someone Luna stumbled back, as well as dropping her phone and her airpod maxes falling to the ground as well.

Thankfully she put a case on both the electronics.

"Shi my fault" a deep voice apologized going to grab her things, finally looking up Luna looked at the figure which was a boy who looked maybe a year older then her and was brown skin with dreads covering his face.

Luna's cheeks grew red going to grab her things from him, "it's fine" she muttered tucking her hair behind her left ear.

Looking down at her, he watched as she tried to quickly put her things back on and get away, he could tell he made her nervous.

"What yo name is?" He asked, sparking up a CONVO.

Staring at him she took in his appearance even more, she could see he had red braces and his eyes were slanted, his dreads were a darkish brown and were long but the locs were twisted his lips were nice and plump and he had two dimples when he spoke.

"Shorty? I Said what ya name was" he tapped her knocking Luna out the trance she didn't know she was in.

"Luna" she told him gripping onto her bookbag STRAP.

"Im kobe" he reached his hand out to shake hers, she didn't understand why he was doing this normally when you bump into someone you say sorry and keep it moving.

"Why I'm just now seeing you round? You new or some shit" he added onto the convo— he could sense she wasn't really a TALKER.

But he'd change that.

"No im not new" She began walking but he'd just walk with her.

"I just don't be around" she shrugged telling him, he nodded looking down at her— he didn't know what it was about her but he wanted her.

"Yo you're really pretty, I'm sorry if I'm coming off weird" he stopped in his tracks saying to her, Luna had began blushing IMMEDIATELY

"T-thanks" she giggled leaning on one foot looking at him.

"You single? If so can I get ya digits or Instagram" he pulled his phone out before she could answer the question.

When she was with Notti that question never came about, maybe because she made it known she had a boyfriend before the person could even ask whether she brung him up or her bracelets or necklace or even Lock Screen...now it was DIFFERENT.

"Yea I'm single" Luna nodded grabbing Kobe's phone, typing her Instagram into his phone she followed herself.

"I can text you?" He asked

"Duh if I gave you my gram" squinting her eyes she laughed.

"Oh ighh, I'm just making sure" he laughed walking backwards the direction he originally was going.

"Bye kobe" she shook her head chuckling.

"See you lunaa" he dragged her name smirking

"Mmm what happen to I'm never falling in love again?" A voice caught her off guard, turning to see it was just Darrian.

"Bro you scared me" She held her heart realizing it was just him.

"And what you mean? I cant give people my number he might wanna be my frie— Luna I know you not dumb" ddot cut her off following her as she walked.

"I see the way bro looked at you, it's not how Notti look at you cause that can't be beat...but it was a look of lust" Ddot told her, side eyeing him she laughed.

"Okay using these big words" she joked not taking him serious, smacking his teeth he mugged her head.

"I'm being serious" he dead faced her.

"So am I" she retorted .

"Bro Luna, Just be careful don't be quick to hopping into a new relationship cuz you wanna forget about ya previous one" he told her seriously.

"darri you don't have to be worried" she assured him.

"Ima forever worry you like my lil sister, ion trust other niggas besides Notti to actually be wit you" he told truthfully, despite all the banters and arguments between the two they had the closest bond out of the GROUP.

they truly loved eachother, he was the brother she never had.

"KOBE?!" Janelys gasped, listening as Luna told her about what happen today excluding the conversation with Ddot.

"You know him?" Luna asked her sitting her phone up against her pillow.

"Bro he play basketball for ya school he mad good, he just well known" she told, Luna had her fair share with well known guys.

"So you gone start talking to him?" Janelys asked, looking up she was walking into a deli.

Shrugging Luna didn't really know— she didn't think she was moving on just by texting someone else.

"Dd get right here!" A familiar voice that only belonged to Notti had yelled as janelys walked out the bodega— Luna's eyes darted down to her phone.

She hadn't seen or heard from the boy in what felt like years— but in reality it was just WEEKS.

"Where you at Nelly?" Luna asked her.

"They filming a vid today, you should slide— are you crazy?!" She cut her off saying.

"Bro remember noti?" Janelys smacked her teeth saying.

"Yes I remember Notti, how could I forget him" Luna's delusional self rolled her eyes.

"Bitch...I Said noti as in noticuz not Nottiosama" janelys laughed lowly  at her friend

"Oh yea that annoying YouTuber, what about him" she picked at her blanket saying.

"He recording a video or whatever, but I'm not tryna be the only girl down here so comeee" janelys begged already knowing Luna's answer would be a NO.

"You joking right?" Luna laughed

"I'm so dead ass, ima drag you out if You'on come bro you not bouta let this breakup keep you isolated" Janelys expressed as she sat on a step watching dd spark up.

"But jane— no buts" She pointed at her phone.

"Look at my location, you not even that far so if you not here Inna bout 20 minutes I'm dragging you by ya braids" Janelys threatened.

"You and ya boyfriend gotta stop threatening peopl— who my boyfriend!" She asked loudly at her phone.

"Darrian Jimenezzz" Luna sung standing up walking to her closet, "ya not funny" she dead faced Luna.

"I'm not joking" Luna sat her phone on her vanity opening up her mirror closet.

"Just get ready, bye" janelys flipped the phone off before hanging up.

FINALLY ARRIVING, Luna saw the entire block was outside. Looking down at her outfit that she wore. SATISFIED by her outfit choice .

"Bestieeee" janelys spotted Luna who was a couple feet away, jogging towards her she yanked her into a hug.

"You act like i don't see you during the weekend— I don't care, I need to transfer to your school" she shook her head grabbing onto her hand.

"School is literally over in three days" Luna laughed as janelys pulled her to the GROUP.

"Where sah sah?" Luna asked referring to Sahmir, janelys shrugged before remembering "oh yeaaa he in philly" she told.

How come he didn't tell Luna

"It was outta nowhere cuz I invited him today and he said bro I'm literally driving back to Philly as you texting me" she explained, nodding she understood.

"Guys look who's here!" Janelys announced causing all heads to turn, yet Notti's was nowhere to be found.

"Oh my godddd not megamind" Ddot groaned playfully.

"Hey sissy" dd went to hug the girl before sitting back down on a crate continuing to roll his second blunt.

"dd is this your girlfriendddddddd" a unknown voice dragged out behind Luna causing her to turn before scrunching her face at the camera that was all in it.

"Yo back up off her noti" Ddot pushed the camera back as Luna went to sit.

"Ohhhh it's your girlfriendddddd ddotgeezzzzzz" he wave the camera in his face.

"Yo I'm bouta smack this Nigga" he chuckled side eyeing the camera. Grabbing the blunt from dd hand before it was smacked to the ground by noti

"You too young to be smoking" he pointed in Ddot Face as be slowly stood up, Luna smirked trying to hide her laugh.

"Noti...I think I need a napkin!" He said loud enough for the others in the group to hear.

"I need a napkinnnnn" he dragged walking off the steps, "igh chill chill chill" noti reached his hand out for him to stop.

"No cuz you dropping my blunt and shit I will really boom you" he pushed noti back. Just as he was about to say something Notti came from around the corner with a bag in his HAND.

"There go that mindless behavior looking nigga" noti pointed the camera in Notti Face as he walked pass.

"Here go ya irritating ass" Notti rolled his eyes standing infront of noti.

"Come Inna car!" Noti waved the boys dd, ddot and Notti all looked at him getting ready to come in

"Ya too ya too" noti pointed to Luna And janelys who was playing hand games. SNAPPING his head the direction noti was pointing Notti didn't even realize Luna was there.

His face had a weird look on it.

"Yo noti word to everything if you say sum weird shit to either of them we decking you in ya shit" dd expressed opening the front seat door.

"siéntate en la parte de atrás" Notti spoke as noti walked around the the driver seat.

"Nigga why you see me bouta sit up here" dd squinted his eyes at his brother

"no estoy sentado cerca de ella" he hissed smacking his teeth as Luna made her way closer to them.

"Ight bro ya immature ass" dd mumbled going to the back as Notti sat in the front.

"Ain't enough space in this bitch noti" dd mugged the darkskin as Ddot and janelys sat in the car scooting so Luna can get in.

"Your girlfriendddd can sit on your lap" he joked, Notti gave noti a death glare that he didn't even notice but surely would once he rewatched the video.

"She my fucking sister dicc" he gripped noti shirt making Ddot giggle.

"Ima just sit on Ddot lap" janelys shrugged do Luna could have room.

"All I feel is bones" Ddot muttered to janelys which only got him a slap on the chest. 

"So today I'm babysitting the Sugarhill hoodlums!" Noti clapped saying to the camera .

"And we gone be reacting to their songs ima let them know if it's ass or if it's fire! We don't lie around here" he yelled, dd and Notti both mugged him.

"Like fuck is you yelling in my ear for" Notti scooted away near the window.

"We gone listen to too tact first, ladies have you heard this song?" Noti turned to ask

"Yea" they both answered

"And gimmie your honest opinion on it do you like it? He asked

"Yea it's one of my favs" janelys nodded, he turned to Luna waiting for her answer.

"Yeah, it's good all three of their verses are nice" she complimented, Notti was tryna hide his smile.

"She lying she don't wanna hurt y'all feelings" he said

"Turn the fucking song on dick" dd said to him snatching his phone

"Who the fuck is this?" Noti asked when Ddot part came up

"This me" he smiled sitting up

"I can tell you sound like Elmo" he joked making luna laugh loudly before covering her mouth, her laugh always made Notti laugh because it was so HORRENDOUS

"Luna that was funny?" Ddot turned to look at Solai

"Yo dd laughing too bro ." Luna pointed at dd who was looking the other way , janelys Just applied lipgloss on tryna keep herself from laughing because he could easily put her in a headlock

"Danielle sit down" noti pushed Ddot down as he sat up making janelys slide a bit

"Danielle? Yo why he playing with you" dd said laughing again this time smacking noti, Notti was looking out the window giggling

"Nah ddot you dropping the blunt" Luna told him picking it up  eyeing it from the chair

"You mini Kay flockkkk" noti said but dd And Notti start yanking his shirt slapping him around ddot couldn't do much with janelys on his lap so instead grabbed a water bottle

"Yo watch out my hearts" Ddot yelled before pouring it all on noti

"Punch him Luna punch him" ddot said to her making Luna sit up and punch him in the arm.

"Hey Mercedes....call 911" he yelled to the Mercedes making the five stop about to hop out the car but he still had luna arm.

"Nah let her go" Notti ran to the other side of the window putting Notti head Inna headlock.

"Somebody get these kids away from me!" Noti voice went high pitch, janelys was laughing falling around recording that's what she ALWAYS did

After a while they all calmed down and sat back in the car, noti arm still hurting from Luna's punches.

"It aint call 911 chill" noti Said fixing himself and janelys couldn't help but laugh

"What's funny?" He turned to her tryna look serious

"My nigga ya shirt look like a cut up belly shirt and u tryna look like you somebody to take serious" She added making ddot laugh

"I bought something for y'all" waving her off he opened his glove department reaching for something making dd look at him strangely

"It's not my Glock relax" he said and Notti rolled his eyes.

He pulled out a lollipop and pop rocks

"Because I know y'all are children had to give you candy" he gave Notti pop rocks, dd a lollipop and Ddot a KitKat

"Noti....u lucky I got the grabba in my hand" dd said sitting the lollipop in Luna lap.

"Y'all too young to be stuck in the hood" noti began saying, ddot sucked his teeth opening the KitKat .

"Y'all are childre—" cutting him off Notti yanked the ski mask off his head, dd began laughing at the action

"Why you take my ski mask for?" He eyed Notti about to grab it back but dd smacked his hand.

"Yo why the fuck u got a ski mask for?" dd laughed asking.

"Cause today I came to stop ya niggas" he turned telling, dd and Ddot looked at eachother before laughin

"This my ski mask now pussy" Notti told putting it on covering his face with it before jerking his head back harshly .

"Nah why the mouth part smell like ass" he asked pulling it off his face looking over at noti— Luna began giggling

"Ddot! do you wanna be my ooooterr" noti turned to the back asking.

"Noti do you wanna be my driverrrr" Ddot dragged grabbing his shirt, janelys was on the side of him now as he and Luna sat in the middle.

"What do i look lik— nigga What do i Like look!" Ddot yelled .

"I'm really like that bro!" Noti told them, Notti laughed opening his calypso bottle drinking from it.

"You laughing you tryna find out? soon as this video end somebody gonna end up on the news no cap" he grabbed his phone saying.

"What?" Janelys high pitch voice said

"I got 6 knocks im not tryna kill ya niggas but!" Luna began laughing because she could tell he wasn't like that .

"1 knock, 2 knock, 3 knock, 4 knock, 5 knock and I got a 6th one for myself incase you feel me I gotta shoot myself" he rubbed his nose saying

Both Luna and Notti laughed at this, "yo y'all two always laughing at me fuck y'all think ima
Joke!"

"Keep playing ima get Ndot on you lil girl" noti told her.

"Get him" both her and Notti said in unison , noti eyed the two before facing his attention back on the camera.

"Babysitting time is over for these lil niggas! Get this to 20k likes if you want part 2" he clapped his hands

"And if you wanna see them in other videos like smash or pa— you my baby for you ima end em" Notti cut him off turning the song up, noti side eyed him as dd began singing.

Putting his hand to cover the camera noti cut it.

"Ya lil niggas is bad" he pointed at the teens who were in they own world.

OPENING the door Luna got out pulling her shirt down and stretching from being in the tight space janelys behind her , Notti looked at her through the window thankful it was tinted .

"That's you my heart?" Noti asked, getting the attention from dd and Ddot.

They all looked at Notti waiting for him to CONFIRM like he always did.

"Nah.." he shook his head no before putting the blunt in between his lips going on his phone .

Ddot and dd both looked at eachother sharing a look of CONFUSION and worry. Because Notti always claimed luna even before they were together and he was just a boy desperate for her ATTENTION .
