LETTER TO LUNA

HEARING PEBBLES BEING THROWN AT HER WINDOW. Luna lifted up from her bed rolling off of it she ran towards her window.

Opening her curtains she saw the curly headed boy, who had a hand full of pebbles he was wearing a white polo tee and adidas sweat she knew he was probably cold.

Opening her window she grabbed her essentials hoodie and sweatpants she'd wear tmr for school so that if her grandmother did check her room she could say she went to school.

Looking down at him he had been cheesing at her making her smile back.

"I'm scared" she admitted throwing down her clothes he caught them throwing them around his shoulder, now it was time for her to come down.

"Don't be it's not a far jump" he told her as she climbed out of her window sitting on the roof.

She gripped into the bricks her air forces creasing against the edge as her heart raced, it wasn't a far jump but she was terrified she may fall on her face.

Turning around she wanted to slide down on her stomach, Notti laughed at the girls actions making her flip him off but that only resulted in her slipping faster than before falling off the roof

Notti catching her she gasped holding her heart, "oh my god i think I'm dead" She exaggerated holding her heart.

"exactly what ya ass get" he told her sitting her down gently.

"Jump wasn't even far" she rolled her eyes dusting her pants off as if she wasn't two seconds away from busting her face open.

"What ya lil ass even sneaking out for?" He laughed  as they walked the direction towards Notti's home.

"I told you my grandmom...bro she tried to make me go to bed at 6 and took away all of my electronics I had to sneak my phone" she told him, he laughed but she didn't find it funny at all.

"Okay Ethan" she knew that would get under his skin which it did because he mugged her nudging her head softly.

"You don't mind me staying at your place right?" She moved her hair out of her face looking in his direction.

"Don't be silly lou" he told her, putting his hands in his pants pocket he got goose bumps from the cold breeze hitting him, but she wasn't being silly she actually wanted to know.

"No Luna I don't mind" he deadpanned her seeing she was serious.

"Why are you making that face i just wanted to know if i was being a disturb-

"Because you always ask stupid questions like that, you'd never be a disturbance or a bother to me" he told her as they made a turn.

Blood rushed to her cheeks at that, he had a way with his words.

The rest of the walk was in silence but a comfortable one.

WALKING INTO NOTTI ROOM SHE LOOKED, around this was her first time ever at his house and to say the least she was surprised at how it looked.

He shared a room with dd and it was clean and smelt nice, looking over at DD's bed it was empty making her scrunch her face up.

"Where's dd?" She asked him as he shut his door sitting her clothes on his gaming chair.

"Ion even know, I think at Ddot crib" he cut his light out turning his led lights on white, Luna sat on his bed kind of getting nervous.

She had never been over a boys house a cute one at that and she most definitely never spent the night over ones, her heart was racing and she just felt  so out of place.

"Stop looking like that" Notti chuckled facing Luna  who had been sitting awkwardly looking around.

"Like what?" She asked nervously chuckling, "you look scared" he sat next to her, his nice scent hitting her nose.

"I'm not scared I just...never been over a boys house" she shrugged playing with her hands looking at her freshly painted white nails.

Notti loved white nails on pretty girls

"I feel special" Notti cheesed holding his heart she giggled kicking her feet back in forth.

"You can lay in my bed I'll sleep in dd's if you want" Notti took his shirt off leaving him in just a wifebeater saying

"I don't care if we sleep in the same bed Notti" Luna would never say this to just any random boy but because it was Notti she felt comfortable with him, she would never admit it but he became her best friend over these short amount of weeks.

"Oh... c-cool, cool,cool,cool-

"Stop saying cool." She cut him off, Notti blushed scratching his hair.

Notti laid on his bed scooting over towards the wall sitting up, Luna copied his actions laying near the outside far away from Notti. Both of them were very far apart in not that big of a bed.

"Why are we so far?" Notti asked her, she shrugged looking at him before scooting an inch closer as if that made any difference.

Notti sucked his teeth grabbing her skinny arm; Luna's breath hiked as he pulled her closer to him.

They were now close together legs touching,  arms touching they could  hear eachothers quiet breaths that's how close .

laying down Notti grabbed Luna's hands playing with them.

"You should sneak out more keep it ah buck" Notti told her Luna's hand were resting on his chest as he'd play with her fingers. She could tell physical touch was his love LANGUAGE

"Nope this is my first and last time"she told him he sucked his teeth turning his head to face her, "you wouldn't sneak out for me?" He asked her, she twisted her lips to show she was thinking about it before saying no his jaw dropped.

"Aight say that then" he laughed,

"you ever watch Harry Potter?" She asked him out of the blue, he shook his head no.

"What! You've never seen- we gotta watch it one day" she sounded in shock

"Ain't it like seven movies of a grown man tryna kill a child, yea ion know" he chuckled turning on his side he wrapped his arms around her waist. BUTTERFLIES formed in Luna's stomach.

"That's not just what it's all about" she smacked her teeth at his description, she was gonna make him watch it one way or another.

The room soon quiet, the only noise that was heard was from the rain he played on his tv and the cars driving back and forth down the street.

"Notti" she whispered but gotten not response

Looking down she saw his eyes were closed and lips parted he fell asleep.

This was her first time seeing Notti asleep and he never looked so peaceful his soft snores and she could feel his heartbeat against hers, she didn't want to admit it but she was slowly catching feelings for Notti.
