"We live in down Swellview where the phone shark has—"

Ray backtracked the video, "But you keep failing. Doesn't that bug you?"

"Yes," Captain Man nodded dryly.

"Man, this depressing to watch. How did you even..." Ava sighed, watching the news about Captain Man failing to catch the Phone Shark again. "I don't know!" Ray whined. "I told you to..." Ray shoved some noodles in Ava's mouth to make her stop talking.

"You don't know anything you're talking about. You're not a superhero,"

"I was your sidekick for five months. And I was the one who led us out of the escape room in the last 10 minutes,"

"You were lucky you found the key under the mat,"

"It's been there for 20 minutes, you never listen—"

Ray started putting his hands to his ears, dropping the Chinese food on the monitor.

"You're so immature, you know that?"

Ava forcefully removed Ray's hands away from his ear and gave him back his box of Chow Mein. The duo heard the sound of coughing and turned to see Henry walking in.

"Ray?"

Ray turned to face Henry with noodles in his mouth, slurping the last of his noodles down in his mouth. "Henry, I didn't know you were working today, did I butt beep you?" Ray panicked, grabbing his controller from his back pocket.

"No... no... uh, can I talk to you about something?" Henry walked towards the two. "Babies come from the baby store," Ray panicked, covering his ears again.

"It's not about that," Henry said. Ray relaxed, "What's up?" Ava wiped the last of the noodles away from her mouth. "You know my friend, Charlotte?" Henry asked. "Yeah?" Ava and Ray replied.

"Yeah, Well, she's really smart. And she kind of figured out..." Henry trailed off. "About?" Ava asked until she realised what Henry meant.

"Figured out, what?"

"That... um... I'm Kid Danger," Henry shrugged calmly, laughing awkwardly. Ray and Ava's eyes widened. Ray turned around from his seat in shock.

Ava felt the cold air flowing into the Man Cave. "What did you tell her?" Ray's voice went up a pitch. "That I am... Kid Danger," Henry said.

"Oh... Interesting,"

"You're not mad, right?"

"Mad? No?" Ray faked a laugh, his hand telling Henry he wasn't "mad."

"Cool,"

"You're fired,"

"He's gonna tell him to leave the wristband, and what else am I missing..."

Ray got up from the monitor and walked past Henry. "Fired?" Henry was stunned. "That's right; you can leave your watch on the table there," Ray instructed, pointing to the table with his thumb.

"But I swear I didn't want to tell her. She figured it out," Henry tried defending himself. "Henry... you took an oath,"

"You kept me like a secret, but I kept you like an oath," Ava muttered.

"I know, but..."

"You promised me you wouldn't tell anyone, and I trusted you to keep that promise. When trust is broken, it can never be fixed," Ray said, walking down the steps.

"Yes, it can," Henry tried desperately to keep his job. Ray took his hand down a box of Chinese food, grabbing a fortune cookie, "Open this cookie and read the fortune," Henry snapped the cookie open, "When trust is broken, it can never be fixed,"

"Let's not argue with the Chinese," Ray deadpanned. "Goodbye, Henry," Ray said, opening the controller to the upstairs.

Henry unwillingly gave in, dropping the fortune cookie. He then took his watch off and left it on the table.

"Is it just me? Or did the penguins just march through here?"

"You can't be serious," Ava received a call from Charlotte to meet her in Swellview Park. "Look, you wouldn't want Henry to be jobless," Charlotte said.

"He's 13, but I don't think I would want him to have this wasted potential..." Ava muttered, grabbing her jacket from her room.

Ava walked down from her room into the Man Cave. "Hey, where are you going?" Ray asked, his eyes glued to the monitor. "Out," Ava answered vaguely. "Ok, be back by 9," Ray yelled out. Ava rolled her eyes, entering the elevator.

"Kid Danger, how were you able to locate and finally apprehend the phone shark?"The Reporter asked Henry. "Well, I'd love all the credit, but it was really my boss, Captain Man, who made it all happen," Kid Danger answered.

"Interesting. Can you tell us more?"

"No..."

"Daisy Swift, how do you feel about the catching of the phone Shark?"

"I'm proud of Captain Man for finally catching such a criminal,"

"Mind telling us how you ended up here?"

"No,"

You gave me all the credit?" Captain Man paused the video and turned to Henry in disbelief. "Everyone's been giving you such a hard time about not catching the phone shark, I figured I'd help you out," Henry said. Captain Man smiled slightly at the kind gesture. "Uh, excuse me? I'm the one who found the phone shark?" Charlotte caught the attention of the trio.

"It's true she did," Henry agreed. Captain Man groaned, rolling his eyes. "Ugh! Charlotte, Charlotte. What am I gonna do with you?" Charlotte started getting off the chair, "I think it's pretty obvious,"

"What's that?"

"Give me a job here,"

Captain Man and Kid Danger turned to each other, giving each other a weird look. "You guys need her," Ava stated.

"You guys need me,"

Captain Man and Kid Danger looked offended. "First I want to know how you found the phone shark," Captain Man and Kid Danger crossed their arms, waiting for Charlotte's answer. "Well, I figured no guy with normal teeth can bite through a phone, right?"

"Yeah!" Ava agreed.

"Okay?" Captain Man answered saltly.

"So I started calling every dentist in Swellview until I found one who told me he had a patient who asked for a whole mouthful of titanium teeth," Charlotte started explaining.

"That's what I said you should've done,"

"We should've called some dentists,"

"Totally should've,"

"Then I hacked into the Denist's computer files, got the guy's name and searched online," Charlotte continued.

"Oh, we should've gone online,"

"What is wrong with us?"

"The fact you two are dumb, not overanalyzing every single thing, you can't even go up a tube without your boot falling, you can't even get a woman so you turn to flirting with your sidekick's mom,"

"Oh! And his update said, "Off to my brother's wedding in Swellview Park, Hope they serve phones for dessert lol," Charlotte ended.

"And then she called me," Henry added. "She's good," Captain Man pointed. "She is," Ava agreed. "She could really help us out around here," Captain Man was skeptical, "Us?" pointing between KId Danger and Him. "OH right, you fired me," Kid Danger realised.

"Well you broke the oath," Captain Man muttered. "But he caught the Phone Shark," Ava added. Captain Man ignored them. "Come on Ray hire me back," Henry pleaded. Captain Man rolled his eyes, "Ok you're rehired,"

"Yes!" Kid Danger cheered, hugging Captain Man. Ava walked over to him, giving him a fist bump but failing, trying to turn it into a high five. "What are you--" Kid Danger just awkwardly high five Ava.

"Cough, cough, cough,"

"Oh right, And what are going to do about Charlotte?"

Captain Man groaned in frustration. "Well she knows you're Kid Danger, she knows who I am, she knows Ava is my daughter, and she knows where the Man Cave is because you two brought her down here,"

"So what does that mean?" Charlotte asked. "That we either have to kill you, erase your brain or give you a job,"

"I vote job,"

"We can really erase her brain?"

"Dude!"

"I vote for job too," Ava raised her hand, siding with Charlotte. "Alright, she can have a job here," Kid Danger cheered, "Awesome," Captain Man interrupted him, "If she can pass the pickle test," Captain Man pointed his finger dramatically at Charlotte.

Bork twisted a pickle jar shut, so shut the pickle was floating mid-air in the jar. "Thanks Bork. now grunt and exit," Captain Man ordered him. Bork left the room, grunting. "Charlotte, you must now prove you're clever enough to work for Captain Man,"

"Uh, I found the Phone Shark," Charlotte reminded him. "Anyone can do that," Captain Man mocked. "Not you guys," Ava and Charlotte reminded them.

"You know what? Let's go there again,"

"Now..." Captain Man pushed Charlotte in front of the jar, "To prove your worthiness, you must get that pickle out of that jar that Bork power screwed shut," Captain Man said. "How much time does that she have?" Kid Danger asked.

"Exactly five minutes--" Before Captain Man could finish, Charlotte threw the jar down onto the table, smashing the jar onto the table. Kid Danger, Captain Man and Ava were stunned. "Here's your pickle," Charlotte handed the pickle to Captain Man. "That was Bork's favourite jar," Captain Man said worryingly.

"Wait, is Charlotte hired?" Kid Danger asked.

"Yeah, yeah, she's hired," Captain Man answered.

"Yes!" The trio cheered. "Wait, you wanna see something cool?" Kid Danger asked. "Yeah!" Charlotte answered. Kid Danger and Charlotte ran to the tubes, and Ava followed them, standing under Captain Man's tube.

"Hug me,"

Charlotte gave Kid Danger a weird look. "Just trust me," Kid Danger reassured her. As the tube engulfed them. "Woah!" Charlotte gasped. "Up the tube," Ava yelled, causing the trio to get shot up.

"I have no clue how you figured out I'm Captain Man's daughter,"

"It was easy. A few years back, Captain Man had a sidekick called Daisy Swift, but Daisy Swift was only seen in a few news articles before disappearing. Till you appeared, it had the same colour scheme as your old uniform, purple, which is a mix of red and blue. Someone saw you hanging out with Captain Man a lot, and by that I mean me,"

"That doesn't prove anything,"

"Captain Man and you seem to be very close; you're constantly defending him from the public; whenever you're seen in public, for example, in this phone shark situation, you stick up for him. His admiration towards you seems suspicious. You stick to him whenever you two are together in events, like when the mayor handles affairs related to Captain Man, and you're always there—your reference to him in your songs and favourite crime,"

"Char..."

"Your weird attachment to the colours red and blue and you mix them to get purple, all these clues point towards a deeper connection than admiration and appreciation. And those clues are more than enough to prove you and Captain Man are father and daughter!"

Ava froze in shock, her mouth dropped, "How did you..." Charlotte patted her side, "It's quite obvious," Ava stayed there, speechless. "Wow, you really are smart," Charlotte smiled proudly. "I know,"
