"(y/n)?" Anna asked catching her friends attention.
"Yeah?" She asked looking up from the paperwork she was doing.
"This might sound a little weird, but I have this friend, Sabrina. She got invited to her ex girlfriend's wedding with a plus one, but she doesn't have a plus one. So to save her from embarrassment, could you go with her and act like you're her girlfriend?" Anna asked.
"Why can't you go with her?" (y/n) furrowed her brows in confusion.
"Because her ex knows I'm her best friend and she wouldn't believe we were together. Can you please do this for me? I'll owe you." Anna begged.
"Ok, I'll go." (y/n) agreed. Anna smiled.
"Thank you, thank you." Anna said happily.

"Okay, (y/n) will be here in a couple minutes." Anna said reading her phone.
"I feel weird about this." Sabrina said.
"Why?" Anna asked looking over at her.
"Because I don't know (y/n) and now she probably is only doing this out of pity." Sabrina said with a small frown. Anna held her confused look. "She's helping out the lonely girl going to her ex girlfriends wedding."
"(y/n) isn't going to judge you, Sab. I promise she's not like that." Anna said trying reassure her friend. They waited a few minutes until the doorbell rang and Anna went to answer it.
"Hey, (y/n)." Anna greeted letting her in.
"Hi, I'm Sabrina, but you can call me Sab." The brunette introduced herself.
"I'm (y/n)." She said smiling. "So what exactly am I supposed to do?"
"My ex girlfriend invited me to her wedding for some reason and I don't wanna show up alone and be embarrassed about being alone." Sabrina explained mentally cursing herself over how pathetic it sounded.
"Ok." (y/n) nodded.
"I know it's stupid." Sabrina said her cheeks turning slightly red.
"No, I get it. I'd do the same if my ex invited me to their wedding." (y/n) chuckled so ease the girls embarrassment. Sabrina sent her small thankful smile.
"Ok, I guess we should get going." Sabrina said. She grabbed her purse and headed to the door where (y/n) was waiting.
"See you guys later." Anna waved closing the house door.

Sabrina and (y/n) sat at the table quietly talking together. They didn't know anyone else there and felt a little awkward like they had crashed some strangers wedding.
"Sabrina?" A delicate voice called making the two look away from each other. It was Sabrina's ex, the bride.
"Hey Amber." Sabrina said sending her a fake smile. "Congratulations."
"Thanks." Amber smiled. "Who's this?" She asked looking over at (y/n).
"Oh this is (y/n), my girlfriend." Sabrina said taking (y/n)'s hand. Amber's smile dropped, but she quickly replaced it with a fake one.
"I didn't know you had a girlfriend." Amber said, slight hatred laced in her voice.
"Yeah, we've been together for a little over 3 months." Sabrina said looking over at (y/n) with loving eyes. Amber let out a small annoyed huff.
"Well I'm happy for you guys as well." Amber said. "I'm gonna go back to the dance floor." She walked away. (y/n) placed her hand over her mouth to muffle her laugh.
"Why does she care about you dating someone else so much? She literally just got married." (y/n) said amused at the brides actions.
"I think she's still a little bitter from our breakup. I broke up with her because it was clear that we weren't in love anymore, but she tried to deny it." Sabrina explained. (y/n) nodded.
"How about we dance?" (y/n) suggested.
"Sure." Sabrina smiled taking her hand. They walked to the dance floor and Sabrina wrapped her arms around (y/n)'s neck while (y/n)'s hands went to her waist.
"Just so you know, you look beautiful." (y/n) told the brunette making her blush.
"Thank you." Sabrina smiled she glanced over (y/n)'s shoulder and saw Amber trying to sneakily watch them. "The bride seems very interested us tonight."
"Really?" (y/n) smirked. "Hopefully she doesn't get too mad when I do this." (y/n) quickly pulled Sabrina closer and kissed her. Sabrina slightly jumped in surprise, but still kissed back. They pulled away and stared into each other's eyes. Sabrina looked away first, blushing.
"Well, she doesn't seem very happy, but I enjoyed it." Sabrina said.
