Mistakes

-Charli catches Dixie cheating on Addison and she has to decide if she wants to protect her sister or be loyal to her best friend.

Charli walked up the stairs of her California house looking for her sister. She heard giggling from Dixie's room and made her way to the door.

"Dixie?" Charli opened the door and saw her sister with a girl who wasn't her girlfriend, Addison. Dixie jumped up from her bed and stared at her younger sister. The unknown girl sat up and looked between the two.
"Who's this?" She asked annoyed.
"My sister." Dixie answered nervously. The girls' expression quickly changed.
"Oh hey, i'm Maggie, it's nice to meet you." The girl smiled at Charli.
"You need to get her out of here." Charli demanded Dixie while ignoring the girl.

"WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?" Charli shouted at Dixie.
"Please be quiet." Dixie begged her sister.
"Why would you do that?" Charli asked. "To Addison." She emphasized her best friends name.
"We didn't even do anything." Dixie exclaimed.
"Really? Then why did that girl have hickeys all over her neck?" Charli pointed out. Dixie stayed quiet looking down disappointed in herself.
"Why did you do it?" Charli demanded again.
"I don't know, Charli. It was a mistake. Just please don't tell Addi." Dixie begged.
"She's one of my best friends. How can i not tell her?" Charli said.
"Please, it was a one time thing. It's never going to happen again." Dixie said trying to persuade her sister.

Charli stayed quiet. The young girl was under a lot of pressure. If she kept this a secret from Addison, she would be betraying her friend and could potentially loose her loose her as well. If she told Addison, she would be breaking up their relationship which they were completely invested in. At least Addison was.

Charli and Addison sat on the couch in the living room of the Hype House. The two were watching a movie together while, for once, everyone was out of the house.

The young D'Amelio girl was quiet not paying any attention to what was on the screen. She was trapped in her thoughts. Part of her wanted to just jump up and confess to Addison, but another part of her wanted to protect her sister.

"Are you ok?" Addison asked making Charli jump. "Sorry, I didn't mean to scare you." She lightly laughed.
"It's fine. I just have a lot on my mind right now." Charli explained.
"Do you wanna talk about it?" Addison offered with a kind smile. Charli went quiet again. If she was supposed to tell her; now was the time.
"Dixie cheated on you." Charli blurted out.
"What?" Addison said. By now her smile fell and her eyes had tears forming.
"Yesterday, I walked in on Dixie and some girl and they were really close. I don't know exactly what they did, but the girl had hickeys and i just needed to tell you." Charli said.
Addison was the quiet one now. She sat still on the couch with tears starting to fall down her cheeks.

"I thought she loved me." Addison whispered.
"I know." Charli said pulling the blonde into her arms.
"Why'd she do it?" Addison sobbed.
"I don't know." Charli whispered rubbing her friends back in hopes of calming her down.

Addison and Charli walked into the D'Amelio house together. The blondes eye were still a little red from crying, but she tried her hardest to stop. Charli hugged Addison and walked to her room so Addison could go talk to Dixie. Addison went over to Dixie's door and knocked twice. It swung open quickly revealing her girlfriend.

"Hey, Addi." Dixie smiled pulling her in her room.
"I need to talk to you." Addison said.
"About what?" Dixie asked noticeably nervous.
"Charli told me what happened." The blonde stated. Dixie looked down and inhaled deeply before letting go.
"What did she tell you?" Dixie asked quietly.
"Don't act dumb, Dixie." Addison demand.
"Look, that girl didn't mean anything. I don't know why i even did that." Dixie said trying to explain herself.
"I think we need to break up." Addison said.
"Addi..." Dixie trailed off.
"You obviously don't feel the same anymore and i don't know how to feel right now." Addison said looking at the girl she thought loved her.
"Goodbye, Dixie." Addison said walking away.
