More than friends?

-you and Dixie are friends and you guys act like a couple, but Dixie is "straight". you start getting closer to a new girl and Dixie gets jealous.

Dixie and (y/n) laid on the couch wrapped in each other's arms. (y/n) rested her head on Dixie's shoulder as they watched YouTube together.

"I need to use the bathroom." Dixie whispered.
"Noooo." (y/n) whined tightening her grip around her.
"I'll be back in a minute." Dixie said moving so (y/n) rolled onto her back.
"This isn't as comfortable." (y/n) frowned.
"You'll be fine." Dixie laughed walking to the bathroom.

After Dixie used the bathroom and washed her hands, she walked back to the living room and saw her friend smiling at her phone.

"Why are you so happy?" Dixie asked throwing herself next to (y/n).
"What do you mean? Am i not allowed to smile at my phone?" (y/n) teased.
"No, you're supposed to be smiling at me. The light of your life." Dixie said in a duh tone. (y/n) laughed and went back on her phone.
"Hey!" Dixie exclaimed grabbing her phone out of her hands. She looked at the screen and saw messages with some named Lana.
"Umm, who the hell is Lana and why does she have a WHITE heart next to her name." Dixie asked looking at (y/n).n
"She a girl i met at the mall a couple days ago." (y/n) explained with a smile.
"But why does she have a white heart? That's our thing." Dixie frowned.
"I'm sorry. I'll change it ." (y/n) pouted and wrapped her arms around Dixie's neck.
"Good." Dixie smiled satisfied.

Footsteps came running down stairs towards the two girls. Charli and Gemma appeared in front of them.

"Can you guys make a Tiktok with us?" They both asked at the same time.

Dixie sat in her room fully dressed and ready to go to the mall. She was waiting for (y/n) to text her when she was ready, but she was 20 minutes late.

and i forgot about our plans

Dixie shut off her phone and plugged it into the charger. Then she walked out of her room and headed towards Charli's. Dixie knocked and heard her sister give her permission to go in.

"Hey." Charli greeted with Gemma by her side.
"Hi." Dixie said back walking over and laying down next to the girls.
"I thought you were going somewhere with (y/n)?" Charli questioned.
"I was, but she ditched me for Lana." Dixie said sadly.
"Who's Lana?" Gemma asked.
"Her new girlfriend." Dixie said with jealousy.
"Girlfriend?" Both Charli and Gemma exclaimed confused.
"Well, not girlfriend. They met a couple days ago and i think (y/n) likes her." Dixie explained.
"And you're jealous cause you like her?" Charli inferred.
"What? No. I don't even like girls. I just want my friend back." Dixie defended herself.
"Please, you definitely like her and she likes you. Have you seen how you act together?" Gemma laughed.
"And she was literally here yesterday." Charli pointed out.

Dixie stayed quiet. Did she like (y/n)? They had been friends for years and she never thought of her that way. She never thought of any girls that way. She likes boys. Right?

"Do i like her?" Dixie asked.
"Yes!" The two younger girls screamed.
"oh." Dixie muttered.

(y/n) knocked on the front door of the D'Amelio house and patiently waited. Dixie opened the door with a nervous look.

"Hey, Dixie." (y/n) smiled walking through the door.
"Hey." Dixie said sending back a smile. She grabbed (y/n)'s hand and pulled her upstairs to her bedroom.
"I wanna tell you something." Dixie said as both girls sat on her bed. (y/n) nodded for her to continue. Dixie nervous bit her lip.
"You can tell me anything." (y/n) reassured her.
"I like you. I have for a while. I just didn't realize it. That i like girls." Dixie said. "And i don't like you hanging out with Lana. I know i don't know her, but i don't like her." Dixie finished taking a breath and focusing on (y/n).
"You were jealous of Lana?" (y/n) asked smugly. Dixie glared at her as she smiled.
"I like you too, Dixie." (y/n) said smiling. Dixie smiled brightly and and jumped onto (y/n) and smashing their lips together.
"Wanna be my girlfriend?" Dixie asked.
"Most definitely." (y/n) nodded kissing her again.
