"So, this Chaos Control created a warp in time and space, and that's how you guys ended up here. Hmm, I understand it for the most part. But, I'm afraid I am still confused about these Chaos emeralds you all are talking about."

We were all in gramps's room. I was fixing up the rocket boots criss crossed style on the floor, as Sonic was resting his head on my thigh relaxing while I tinkered with my work also listening at the same time. Chris was the one who asked them the question.

"You never heard of the Chaos Emeralds? Boy, you really do have a lot to learn, don't you?" Tails replied as Amy took over. "Each Chaos Emerald is filled with a magical power. So you can imagine what would happen if you found all seven of them!" She extended her arms drastically making her point across about how powerful these emeralds really were.

"But no one has ever found all seven emeralds, and now it's highly improbable that anyone will ever find them." Gramps said out to the group turning his chair around." I rolled my eyes at his negativity. I was years younger than this dude and yet I it's always right when it comes to certain things.

Cream ask Grandpa why it was impossible to find all of them. "Well, you see, Cream, every one of the precious Chaos Emeralds has disappeared." He said closing his eyes.

"That doesn't mean their fine for good y'know, old man." I said breaking the silence not lifting my head up from my work. Sonic speaking the real for me. "Anytime the 7 Chaos Emeralds are come together in one place, they scatter and disappear all over again." Sonic tells his friends while also handing me a screwdriver.

"That means they're all still out there someplace." Says Chris as Sonic nods. "That's right....oh! Add an turbo boost in it to give you hyper speed! Why you might actually be able to catch up with me...for a few seconds~" He teases making me push his face away with a chuckle.

"Only, we don't have any way of knowing where! If they're on this planet, that's good but if they're still on the planet we came from we may never get home!"

"Hey hey! Relax, your with kid genius here. Look I have a hunch and it's never wrong. If the emeralds are somewhere on our planet. Then we'll do everything in our power to locate all of them and help you guys get back home. I know I could probably find a way to reverse the time warp. I'll have you all back home in no time, you trust me right?"

I said holding out my thumb winking at them. As they all look at me before smiling. All nodding and agreeing as Sonic opens up one eye and looks up at me. "Of course I trust you, kid genius." His hand touching my face....I felt all the blood rush to my face. I blink owlishly before looking away quickly, this making him laugh at me.

It was the next day around noon. Me and Sonic were in my room. He was laying on my bed while I was at my desk writing some blue prints for a next project. "So this school... how come Chris goes but you don't?" He asked me now by my side. "I don't go to school anymore. I was to smart for it. I passed at anything they gave me and there was just no more they could give me. I became a nationwide hit known as the smartest kid in the world. Which is how I got the name kid genius."

Sonic blinks I will actually as his eyes wide and with amazement. "Whoa... So you're like a celebrity here? That's pretty neat!... But how come you stay with Chris? What about your parents?"

"Eh, busy. They are on a business trip, they were travelers and discover treasure and unknown stuff." I tell him, watching him as he jumps on top of my desk to get a better eye connection with me. "They seem cool." He tells me making me shrug. "As cool as parent's who forget they have a child and not some business partner gets. Then I guess."

I don't hate them ...I just wish they treated me more like a daughter and not some coworker. But I can't be to ungrateful...I could have nothing.

Sonic looks at my face getting close. I break out of my thoughts making me blush at this. "Uh...Sonic you-" "Well your parents are missing out! Your a great kid! And a great friend too! You even helped saved my friend and me! Usually I'm the one doing the saving.. but we make a pretty good team you and I. We should have a duo name."

"How about the Blue Flash and his nerdy sidekick?"

"Hmm...The fast hedgehog and his human friend."

"Okay okay!...How about...Kid Genius and the Blue Blur!"

I look at him.... Before picking him up and throwing him on my bed. "Nope!" I said to him as he jumps up and down on my bed. I look at my watch before cursing under my breath. "Chris forgot his lunch today. Mr. Tanaka asked me to bring it to him. Crap I forgot." I said putting on my shoes and tying them.

"Wait! Let me go with you!" He said trying to get off the bed but falling face first into the floor. Laughing I pick him back up. "Not in a million years, can't risk more people seeing you...and I'm probably gonna be grounded once word breaks out about this."

"But you heard what Eggman said! He's also gonna be after you too! I can't risk my new friend being hurt by my enemy." He jumps in front of me.

"Sonic, I have 50+ year old scientist who are after me just for correcting their formulas mistake. This one just so happens to have killer robots and a blood thirst for hedgehogs apparently." I pick him up before placing him down behind me. Going to walk away before he grips my wrist, yanking me down to his level before holding my face.

"Eggman isn't like anybody from this world. He's been after me for years and he will not let anything stand in his way... please be safe." He said rather seriously, uh oh! This was a side I never thought I'd see him in.

"Sir, yes, sir. I'll be right back. Read some more comic books while I'm gone." I toss him my new TMNT issue. Which seemed to have caught his interests for the most part. As I quickly grab my jacket and head out to go pick Chris up from school.

I finally pushed past all the teachers who kept complementing me and begging me to teach their classes one day. I looked around trying to find Chris before seeing him alone in s hallway. "Hey Chris! You had forgotten your lunch at home- You okay? Ya look depressed...get a bad grade?" I get on one knee to look at him. "It's nothing, (Y/N) honestly. I'm fine." Chris tries to tell me he's fun but you could read that kid like a book.

"Christopher Thorndyke..."

A voice called out behind him making him turn around as I too look behind him. It was a man or whom I assume was a teacher. Wearing a blue suit, had dirty blonde hair, blue eyes and blue glasses.

"The principal told me your name, and, well, I was wondering if you were the same Christopher Thorndyke whose father is the CEO of the Starship software company, Nelson Thorndyke, and whose mother is the famous film actress, Lindsey Fair."

.... Totally not creepy at all. Who just randomly walks up to a person and just spills out all of their information... I don't trust this guy one bit. What's he up to?

His eyes then darted to me. "And of course I can't forget. The most famous cousin... (Y/N)! Also better known as kid genius. It is truly an honor to meet you. I have to know more about that mind of yours." He said taking my hand and bowing. Yup, totally weirdo vibes.

"Hehe.... pleasure." I said bitterly yanking my hand away and secretly wiping it behind my pants.

"Yeah...that's me." Chris answered cluelessly as the so-called teacher leaned in closer to us. "well, I must say, christopher, it's a privilege to meet the son of such distinguished relatives."

"Thanks. That's very nice of you to say.." Poor kid probably had no idea what else to say. What else are you supposed to do when I complete stranger walks up and just spills all of your information. Not really the best convo starter in my opinion.

He holds out his hand to shake to Chris. "Good meeting you, Christopher." They shook hands before then he asks him a out of the blue question. He asked him what his favorite animal was. Chris never really had much of a favorite animal he wasn't the type to pick favorites. But hearing him say hedgehog definitely made me raise an eyebrow. But which was strange enough was the sudden facial change on his face... Like he was hoping for that answer. I was no mind reader but I could definitely tell this guy wasn't no ordinary teacher.

"Hey Chris!"

It was Danny. One of Chris friends. "Sorry! Let's go!" Chris nods and he how's the teacher it was nice talking to him... So his name was Stewart huh? Good to know. "Thanks for dropping off my lunch, (Y/N)!" The two of them run off. Leaving me and Mr. Stewart alone in the halls.

"I need to head back. Nice talking with you." I said to him, standing back up. Adjusting my glasses on my face before walking off... Still feeling the man's eyes behind my back.

I walked back into the mansion. Wondering where Sonic was. I looked out back still looking until I felt something heavy land on me. Making me hit the floor. "Finally your back! What's the big idea making me wait so long for you!"

"Ow! Sonic- whatever you are eating...you need to lay off of it! You weigh like a ton!" I said trying to push him off of me. Proceeds to lay on top of me. "Nah, got to keep my muscles intact." He said flexing his noodle arms. "Pft! Yeah okay." I laugh at this as I hear a evil laugh coming from him.

"Sonic...Sonic no! Sonic don't you dare! No no!! Pftt hahaha! Stop it! Hahahaha! Stop that tickles!!! You hahaha blue devil!!" He began to tickle me viciously as I quickly overpower him and tickle him back as he began to beg for mercy. Our little bond had to be cut short from Cream running in with the worried expression.

"Sonic! (Y/N)! You won't believe it-oh...is this a bad time?" She said covering her mouth as I quickly get off from Sonic. Me and him faces both red as we quickly Shake our heads. "Nope! N-nothing! Um...what's up. Something happened?" Sonic asked looking at the rabbit.

"They found one! They found one!" Yelled her out in a frantic as my eyes widen... If the news found a Chaos Emerald...Then that means HE also knows about it too.

This ain't good...
