"Sonic... We're not doing this again- I told you we'll talk about it soon. I haven't made up my mind."

"But c'mon!! We're officially dating now! Why won't you come back! We're close of getting those chaos emeralds!"

"I knoww! But I also have people here! I need to make sure their-"

Someone cleared their throat. We look up to see who it was. Me and Sonic were in my room. We had been playing video games all morning. The main character was trying to return home and had to beat very difficult quest. Which must of trigger something in Sonic's brain to even want to bring up the topic.

Right now, Tanaka had entered my room. With a not so please expression on his face. Yeah- ever since we announced that we're officially dating. We've had a lot of praise for it...while also complaints. Tanaka doesn't hate, Sonic.... He does hate the fact he's my boyfriend-

"AHEM! May I also have to remind that I did say no boys in your room with a closed door!" Scolded Tanaka. We both just stared at him. "Um...when did you say that?" I questioned. Not ever once hearing him say such sentence. "Since now!" He hollered. Me and Sonic both frazzled. Geez, talk about protective much! What does he think will happen? Then again we did like kiss two times in front of him. Which may have been two times to many. With that he left out of my room. Making sure to open it all the way wide.

"Hey! What's his problem?" Sonic asked. Scratching his head with his hand. I just shrug. "He's still getting used to things... He's not the one I'm worried about though. My parents have been trying to contact me this whole time ever since our incident. Boy, did they SCOLD me when they found out." I told him. Laying down on my mattress. Sonic laying his head on my stomach.

"Couldn't of been THAT bad. I'm a good looking guy! What's not to like?"

(Flashback)

"Y/N! HOW DARE YOU MAKE A FOOL OUT OF US!"

"DON'T YOU KNOW HOW MANY PEOPLE WE INVITED THERE ALL TO SEE YOU! JUST FOR YOU TO EMBARRASS US!"

"And the fact...your dating one of those ...UGH! Creatures! I knew you were weird but this is unexcusable. We don't know what to do with you."

"Your lucky we're on this hospital room and not at home!..."

I was sitting in the hospital dead with both of my feet bandages up. Just looking at them. They were seriously all worked up over this? We're all the hospital for crying out loud... Also how did they manage to get people to the race that quickly? I like literally announced last second I was joining.

"Hey! No one told you to come!...well kinda did- but I didn't! And don't talk about Sonic like that! He's the coolest dude I've met in a long time!" I argued with my parents. Who just shook their head and disapproval. "Is this what your on about?? If you wanted a boyfriend you could of just said so! We've been waiting for this day. Which is why we had a few men I want you go on a date with!" My mother came over with a few pictures of boys my age....and a picture of a grown MAN??

"Mom!! This guy is like in his twenties!" I yelled at her. Who just took the picture back. "Oh, sorry. He's not one of the dates. He's your future husband in a decade or so if you still can't find someone." Okay now I was just irritated. Did they NOT hear me say anything about... y'know? ME BEING IN A RELATIONSHIP?!

"Mom, I'm dating Sonic. I'm not going on a date with theses guys... Also you have terrible taste. No hate to the boys." I crossed my arms. Hearing them continue to argue. Now my dad butt into the conversation. "You WILL. I'm tired of you ruining our image. We have done so much for you and all you do is act like a brat!-"

"YOUR NOT EVEN MY REAL PARENTS!"

Whoops, wasn't supposed to say that. Oh well. I don't care. Right now I was heated...not to mention my legs were killing me. They really did hurt a lot. All this fighting didn't help either. Jerks. They just stared on me like they were the ones offended. Like I was the one that started this stupid argument. I want them to leaveeee!!

"No we're NOT! Quite frankly it's a good thing too. With those eyes of you. It's no wonder you-"

"Shut up, Mother."

I cut her off. "I have MET my real father. And y'know what! If it wasn't for the fact that he was a evil genius trying to hurt my friends. I'D LEAVE YOU BOTH! ...Then see where your reputation gets you without me." I felt a smile to my faces. Hearing me threaten their lives with me leaving... Of course I'd never. Why would I? I'd never leave my friends and family for HIM! But if I had to choose. I guess I'll be stuck with theses jerks. Just for Sonic's sake.

But just as soon as I thought I was in the clear. They both ended up smiling. I was clueless. What were those expression? "Oh darling... We know who your real father is from the start. Ever since those terrible creatures came to this world. You are his spitting image.."

...OW!!?? Like hello?? Worst insult of the century. I LOOK NOTHING LIKE HIM! If that's the cast youuu.... Crap can't say that without getting striked. Gasp! A fourth wall break in side of a fourth wall break! Man I'm good...anyways-

"Your threat means nothing. You try to do that you know Sonic would despise you. You'll be labeled as a villain and we could easily frame you my dear ...tell you of all your illegal weapons you created. We'll have you LOCKED UP in seconds... You WILL go on theses dates wether you like it or not."

"You can't threaten me. I'm smarter than you. You guys didn't even finish high school. Now get out before I call out for my BOYFRIEND out. He doesn't really like you guys that much."

Finally fear stuck to there faces and they left.

"Pretty much what happened." Sonic just looked at me. I look away uncomfortable. "Sorry...my parents are terrible. Don't worry about them. I won't let them do anything to you. Not like they can do anything." I chuckled. "Mmh... Im not one to really hate someone. But your parents really pushing that boundary. You should tell someone if-" "Sonic it's cool. I don't wanna talk about it right now ..." I look back at my boyfriend. He was looking at my legs.

Does he really feel bad? Even if I didn't push him they were going to obliterate anyway. That's what I get for trying out a prototype until I was positive it could last through. I was already pretty sure there was a 73% chance they were going to blow up anyway. But I took that anyway. Because it was actually really entertaining. Even though it was the whole big event race. I got to spend time with him. Placing my hand on his head and scratching it. My other running my fingers through his quills.

Sonic and the guys were off to find a Chaos emerald... Once again I was grounded by Tanaka. Because of my recklessness and also because I had broken one of the windows in the hallways when practicing a new gadget. Adults can be so boring at times...

And also thanks to my injuries I couldn't really do much. It's like the second time I nearly blew up my legs. They are fine. I used to get scuffed up as a kid but I never had any broken bones at least. Nah, I'm way too cool to get critically injured. That's why I am so awesome...

I was downstairs watching TV. Kinda bored honestly. Nothing good on TV. Chris was at school and Chuck was even gone too. I started to wonder again. Thinking about Sonic's home... If I go that means I'll have to deal with Eggman... But I get to be with them. I've never felt this way towards someone. Never. Here I thought I'll be single forever. Tails is like the little bro I never had. I love having a helping hand. He reminds me of a way younger me. Amy is very sweet and kind. She was even supportive of our relationship. But she did tell me if I broke his heart she'll hurt me. Which I completely understand.

...Me and Knuckles hardly see eye to eye. I did meet up with him last time though! Sonic had gotten something in his ear and his legs began to move on his own. Having no control. Poor Knuckles nearly got ran over. We did talk for a bit. I always told me he was welcome at our place but he just declined. Shame, he seemed cool to hang out with. Hopefully we have our time soon.

Cream and Cheese are just adorable. Poor babies really miss home. They both sweetly made me breakfast in bed. Most delicious breakfast ever. I said it before I would die for those two. Honestly, I'd die for all of them. Little cuties.

I sighed. Groaned and stood up...before limping. I could walk again but it did hurt. I was in a wheelchair for a bit. Which Helen found fun. We were wheelchair buddies... Honestly I miss the wheelchair. I wanted to add rockets on it but Tanaka is allergic to fun apparently.

Okay now I'm really bored. I left my game girl in Chuck's room. Ima go get it before I died of boredom. I had on a rather lazy outfit. Just plain shorts which showed off my bandage legs. With some sneakers also. Can't forget my limited addition Harry Potter merch. I remember nearly fighting someone for this shirt... It was a picture of Dobby. Don't judge me.

After getting my game girl from Chuck's room. Which I just might add was the worst pain ever. It's like every step I take was painful than the other. Once going down the stairs a voice spoke to me. Really scaring me!... So bad I fell face first into the floor from the steps. I just laid there in defeat. It was Knuckles...holy chaos is Knuckles... And some weird....hybrid... bell...robot thingy? What the heck?

I couldn't tell what type of facial expression he was making. So I'm going to take a wild guess that he's both shocked and cringing from my embarrassing fall.

"Heya Knuckles...good to see ya..." I muffled. Lifting my hand and waving at him. While my face still stayed the same on the ground. "Likewise...need a hand." "Oh nah, I'm fine. I love the floor. Very soft and comfy- Yes, that would be most appreciated." Knuckles takes my hand and helps me up. Using himself to support my weight. "Your getting better. Glad to see you walking again. But try to take it easy. I got you." Knuckles took my hands carefully. Meanwhile I looked back at the weird robot... Honestly it was adorable. It had everything lucky on it. From a bell, to a horse shoe, four leaf clover, wings on its head, the number 7 and rabbit feet.

"Your friend looks mighty lucky... Where'd you get him? He's adorable." I pet the little guys head... He ran to my leg and hugged me tight. Making cute robotic chirp noise. Snuggling into my leg. "Well, it's not exactly mine. I think he belongs to Eggman. I found him just roaming around the forest. Seems pretty harmless, though." I look at it's design... And just snickered. Just imagining how desperate he must be to find a Chaos Emerald that the fact he made a little robot with every lucky charm known in existence. Just to push his luck. Man this is TO funny. Can't wait to tell Sonic.

"Sonic around? I've got to talk to him about something." Knuckle helps me steady my balance. "Nah dude, he's out. Looking for the last chaos emeralds.. while I'm stuck here being grounded." I huffed. Knuckles sighs and holds my hands tightly. His face looked serious than usual. Uh oh, this can only mean bad news. And I was having such a GREAT day.... okay not really-

"Then send him this message. We have only one way to get back home. We've got to call a truce with the Dr. Eggman." Once knuckles had said that. I was dumbfounded. I knew he was a knucklehead but I didn't think he was this much of one! Is he seriously thinking of pairing up with Eggman again? Didn't that like not go so well for him last time??!

"A truce? Do you just not think? That is the worst idea ever. That will NEVER happen bro. And NO WAY I'm calling a truce with him!... HE STILL NEVER GAVE ME BACK MY RAY GUN!" "It has to." Was all he responded with. Why is he so careless with this? I've seen how strong he is! If only he was just better at being stealthy he could easily just steal the emerald. Eggman isn't exactly the best when it comes to hiding. Nobody can miss the giant freaking spaceship wherever it's located at!

"How do you suppose they even make a truce? They're sworn enemies. He's my dad and even i wouldn't want to make a truce with him."

"The only way any of us will get back home is to team up with Eggman. I know it might sound crazy, and it may even be impossible, but I have to convince Sonic that this is the only chance we've got. We've all been away from home for way too long now. And I'm not about to let anything stand in our way of getting back there. So will YOU help me convince your dimwit boyfriend or will you not help us get back home like you promised!"

Ye ouch...I did promise them. But teaming with Eggman? This could all be dangerous. Eggman doesn't even WANT to go home! He wants to take over the world... I suppose we could somewhat make a type of truce... A deal perhaps. It just might work They better name their grandchildren after me for this.

"No I won't deliver the message."

Knuckles looked angry and disappointed. Until he heard the click of a belt clicking together. Seeing as I just put on my tool belt. "Because I'm coming along." Cracking my knuckles I walk to him. "No way! With those conditions you'll barely be able to stand!" I laughed at his words. Pressing a button on my belt as then 8 robotic like legs sticks out from each side of the belt. Lifting me off my feet and standing up for me. Making me almost look like a type of robotic spider. I'm so glad I came up with this idea. This will be a substitute until I can fix my rocket boots.

"Never doubt Kids Genius. Let's go!" I walked ahead of him. Crouching under the garage doors and walking out. "You really are full of surprises." He smirks. Him and the lucky robot following along behind me. "I know a quick short cut to get there in no time."

We were now at Station square Central station. I haven't been on a train in a long time. Usually because I had my own ways of getting around. So this will definitely be nice. And it'll get us there guaranteed in no time.

I handed Knuckles a ticket. Who examined it. "The express train will get us to Forest Hill fast." The speakers announce the final boarding call for Forest Hill express, track 29. Both of us hearing this as we dash quickly ahead. Making it to the train just in time...until it dawned on me... NO! WE LEFT LUCKY!LUCKYYYY - just kidding I didn't grow that attached to it.

We were now in Forest Hill. Just for me to come to the cruciating realization that.... I'm going to be in big trouble for this. I may be somewhat of a hero but I can be troublesome... Not that I think about it, I was never a hero at first. Just some kid who like to make gadgets. That the government stole. Then Sonic came into the picture, and I guess the title of hero stuck with me ever since we both work together. Honestly, who knew being a hero would be fun. It's hard, dangerous and really drains you. But I think I've got this in the bag.

... I just know Chris is going to snitch that I snuck out... Whenever he comes back home.

I found a little bit under the weather. I don't want to talk with him. But at the same time if this could be a quicker route to get these guys home. It would be selfish of me not to. I just hope he's not too dumb to listen.

"Don't worry, just stay calm and I'll do all the talking." Knuckles informed me. "Nah, I'll also fill you in. I'm his daughter, so hopefully that counts as a discount for him to make a truce." Once seeing the ship near the wall of the cliff. Knuckles had handed me a flag. A white flag with a stick... He doesn't honestly expect me to wave this thing right? This feels so cliche in every way. Oh well, I waved the flag up high so whatever sensors or cameras he has will be able to see us.

He did. And let the both of us inside of his ship. Getting on board, getting a bunch of deja vu from the last time I was here and making our way towards Eggman. "AHH! My lovely daughter! So sweet of you to join in on your old man for once... And you're not with that blasted Hedgehog. For what do I owe the pleasure. Oh hi, Knuckles." Spoke Eggman who was sitting on a rather large chair compared to me and Knuckles.

"Don't take this any of the wrong way. I very much dislike you. But these guys really need to get home. So, we're calling a truce."

"Think of it this way. If we team up, we get the emeralds together and Chaos controls sends us straight home. But if we keep fighting like this, well I'll be stuck here for good and that's bad."

Eggman hears us out on our reasoning for the truce. His hand on his face nodding his head in a thinking motion. "Mmmh, yes, yes, yes, that's right. I'd never thought of it that way! How could I've been such a brainless greedy old fool? Children, I don't know how to thank you!" He gets off of his chair and goes to shake Knuckles his hand. And giving me a tight hug. The wind knocking out of me.

"However, I do have one condition or so." He sits back down on his chair. Me and Knuckles both looking at each other then back at Eggman. Knuckles questioning what exactly the condition was.

Resting his fist on the side of his face. Eggman grins. "That you allow me to hold on to your Chaos Emerald." Yup, hearing those words something in me just knew that something fishing was happening. Bad idea alert. "Give it to you??" I questioned. "Come now, don't you trust me, my evil sweet child? Nothing is more important between allies than Trust. If you're asking me to trust you, then the least you can do is trust me... Oh! On the other note... For something more personal. If I'm doing this, I'd like to have full custody over MY RIGHTFUL child."

...Did he...did he BEAT me to my own deal?? That was the same truck I was going to pull.. no, giving him the emerald would be a grave mistake. I can't see through his tactics nor his facial expression. He always holds that grin and nothing look different! DANG IT WHY CAN'T I READ HIM!? If I can't figure this out then... Then I'll be wrong... If I'm wrong then.

How can I live up to my name?

"You can hold it... As for your daughter that's not my say. BUT you must promise to STAND by your word."

They both look at me. Having to choose? Sonic would kill me. He'll be disappointed even. I can't do this... But I can't stand my parents. Them, this government and the military! I.. might actually want to go back to their world. Doing this also means I will be under his care...- Well if he holds his end of the bargain. He breaks his truce than so do I.

"Fine, whatever." I just answered....then get crushed into another one of his hugs. Looking at Knuckles with a 'help me' glint in my eyes. He released me and I get blinded with a flash of a camera.

Becoe and Decoe now in my face. "Welcome back to the family sis!" "We finally have a third player for our game!" One of them was holding a now printed out picture of me. It read 'welcome to the family.'

"We will make a GREAT team!" He goes to shake Knuckles hand...I watch slowly as he hands him the chaos emerald. I started to feel guilt... Why do I feel so off. Like I'm not as smart than before?.. What is going on?

(Eggman POV)

"Well well, who would have thought our little friend knuckles was such an honest fellow? As a matter of fact, I'd say he's honest to a fault." I watch the monitor of the red echidna walking with my daughter. Bocoe asking me what exactly I meant by that. "I mean, our naive little knucklehead is playing right into my hands!" I felt so proud of myself. This will be perfect.

"What about her, sir?"

"Yes, wouldn't she be too smart to fall for your tactic?"

I chuckled into my hand. "There are still a few things you don't know about this one... You see... I don't trust HUMANS. Even though I am one myself. The only things I always replied on was my robots..."

I click a few buttons of my keyboard desk. Pressing a unnamed document filed that had been kept away for years. The file opening up showing a picture of Maria...or should I say Y/N. Going to have to get use to that. Reading off her biology and her Anatomy. A whole analysis about her really. Seeing there robotic eyes lit up in shock.

"To break it down I had turned on a device that causes my machines to more artificial and less intelligent." I told them. Waiting for them get it.

"I knew I was feeling a bit woozy.."

"Yeah...like my whole downloads and information left me."

"...Wait- so this means."

"That's impossible!..right?"

I was banging my head outside of the house. Hitting it up against the wall over and over again. "Why...for so long I've nurtured and cared for my brain. It's done nothing but help me throughout my growing years....so why....WHEN THE TIME I NEED YOU THE MOST TO MAKE SURE I WASN'T MAKING THE WORST DEAL OF A LIFE TIME YOU DECIDE NOT TO WORK UNTIL I GOT HOME!!!???"

I growled. It's like all my knowledge came smashing right back in. Just for me to now realize he was lying... And also I'm hiding... I can't go back in now- I need to fix this mistake. Good thing I'm not giving the Emeralds to him. Tough luck. Sorry Knuckles, but I can't betray them.

I was also hiding from Tanaka as well. I know he is aware I'm gone. I don't want to worry them I just need too -

My brain started to hurt...a lot. It was ringing and sounded like morse code in my mind.... It just kept one repeating. Like a loud drum is booming over and over.

"Give Eggman the Chaos Emeralds."
