We just stare at each other for a sold minute. We each blinking at the same time. His eyes just as wide as mine. The atmosphere was so thick you could literally cut it with a butter knife. I felt like everything in me just got crushed like a tin can. I was so scared that I just literally ruined our friendship- wait a minute....

"YOU LIKE LIKE ME??"

"YOUR EGGMAN'S DAUGHTER!"

We kept talking ahead of one another. Sonic taking a deep breath and crosses his arms over his chest. Tapping his foot. "Alright then, you go first. I gotta hear this one. What do you mean your Eggman's daughter? Last time I check. Eggman traveled through that chaos energy portal like the rest of us. How is it possible that you are related to him....Tho- I guess that would explain the eyes—"

I sighed. Trying to figure out how I'm going to word this...after all— hearing that someone you trust so dearly...turns out to be related to your sworn enemy that has been trying to kill you for years. "Look, I only found out about some what recently.... During the baseball match with him...He got away with the Chaos Emerald remember?...When you all weren't looking. I went after him—" "YOU WENT AFTER HIM! THATS DANGEROUS! You could have been—" I place a finger on his lips. "Can I finish? Thank you...as I was saying. I had snuck into his base and tried to find the Emerald. Sadly, I was spotted by his robots and was sent to him."

I took a second to breath. Making sure Sonic got all of that. Before continuing. "He sat down and told me everything...How how I was actually created on Mobius... and how I was created through technology and bits of his DNA. He named me Maria...after a relative of his apparently. He explained how loosing me was the biggest mistake of his life. How I had gotten to close to a portal he's been working on and well...I guess that's how I ended up in this world too."

I unboxed to him. Watching his green eyes never leaving my red ones...Was he mad? He didn't show off emotions that well. So I couldn't really tell what he was thinking. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you earlier Sonic...it was so much for me to handle that my life had been a lie this whole time...and that I'm some type of science project created by someone who is trying to take over this world... I understand if you— uh— huh!!?"

Sonic kicks his foot out. Causing me to fumbled back and nearly fall. Only for him to catch me and hold my head up. Looking me dead in the eyes as a smirk was shown on his face. "You kidding me? If anything that's perfect for me! One, your ALREADY from Mobius. Meaning it's actually your REAL home! Two, your his daughter... meaning Eggman's been getting his shell cracked by his own heroic daughter! And three—" He kisses my lips this time. Holding my face closely. He's never actually kissed me on the lips before-....Holy Choas my first kiss.

"...Now I can rub it in his face that I kissed his daughter~"

I wanted to slap him so badly....but a side of me also wanted to kiss him. I was so relieved to hear he wasn't mad at me. It was so good to get that out of my chest...

"Your not... upset with me?" I asked. Just for Sonic to chuckle. "It takes a lot to get me upset. And why would I be? You've helped us defeat Egghead more times than I can count. You are helping us get the Emeralds to get back home. Not to mention, this actually means you can come back home with us!" He lifts me back up to my feet.

"Sonic— I still need time to think. Don't rush me. Even if it was my home. I don't remember much about it. Meanwhile I have people here who....Wait, you still didn't tell me about what you said! You like like me???" I say to him. Pointing at his chest. He chuckles and shrugs.

"Yeah, so what if I do. I already know the awnser that you like me back...and we're technically on a date so ~" He speeds off into the hall ways. "Hey! Come back! You little blue fur ball!!" I power back on my boots and speeds off right behind him. A smile plaster on my face... I couldn't help but giggle from remembering the kiss. I felt like a little kid again. Never once did I think I'd find someone for me...As much as I may despise Eggman...I gotta give him credit. If he didn't make me...I wouldn't have this amazing life I do now.

The sun had set and it was getting late. The sun had set and the moon was out. Of course that didn't stop us from our so called "date." I looked out from one of the castle windows and spot out side. And I gasp out slightly. "Sonic! Come look." I tell him. Coming up behind me. He looks through the window also. To see a beautiful backyard that was bigger than any I have ever seen. Even bigger than ours. It even had a giant water water fountain in the middle.

Sonic had taken a good look. "Hmm!" And not a moment to soon. I seemed to be getting dragged all the way there. Until I quickly stop him by putting my feet down onto the ground making us stop. "What's the matter?" He asks confused. "Let me at least tell, Mrs. Thorndyke goodnight. Last thing I need is to worry her. You go a head without me. I always catch up." I wink at him. He nods at this, kissing my hand in a prince like way. "For ever and always, dear maidan." ....Did he ...Has he been paying attention to the movie lines? Huh, who knew.

"The door is open~"

She said sweetly. Opening the door. I see Lindsey was applying something to her face ...I wasn't exactly sure- I don't know anything about makeup. (I don't know anything about makeup. But if you do I envy you-- because I look like a clown when I put it on 😂 If you do know how too. Just pretend she didn't say that part.)

"I just wanted to say G'night. Sorry I didn't see much of the performance. I was um ...out with my friend." I said with a smile on my face. Looking down at the floor beneath me. Looking at my rocket boots.

Next thing I knew, I was getting tackled into a hug. "You don't have to say anything!! I already know!!" She sounded... excited...to excited. "Um...Aunty?... are you—" "Oh my sweet Niece! Why did you keep it from me! If I knew you were gonna use this time to spend some time with your boyfriend you could've just asked me! Stay right here! I'm not sleeping a wink until I get you all prepared!" She sits me down on her bed. Taking out some makeup and some clothing....I gulped.

"Now hold very still. Let's get you all dolled up for your date." She takes out a lipstick and twisted it. As it sticks up. A dark ruby red color comes out. Why did this feel so damn intimidating? "T-this really isn't necessary. It's more of a hang out than a da-" "Shush! Just let me work my magic!..You can thank me later~"

(✰Sonic's POV✰)

Waiting out here in the yard was getting boring. Is she telling everyone in the building goodnight??...Geez— Oh well...

...My body freezes...my hands shake a bit...before crouching a bit as a smile grins on my face. Holding my hand over my mouth...I was never a romantic type of guy...but...Is this what Amy feels like all the time?? I kissed her...more than once...she... Oh Chaos I'm turning into Amy!— I shake my head and stand back up. Brushing my quills back and sighing. Leaning up near a wall as I continue to wait for her.

"Sonic!...huff...sorry for waiting... Lindsey insisted I wore heels for this! She made me take off my boots...Note to self...Stairs and heels don't mix.."

"It's about time you showed up— ····"

I had turned over to face her. That's when I saw her. She was making her way to me. Dresses in a gown and had on a hair accessory. Her face lightly applied with make-up and her lifting her dress up slightly to show she was wearing heels... What was she wearing??? ...And why do I like it??!

(AGAIN! You don't have to wear theses! It can be anything you like! Or you can change the color or add anything or take away anything! This will be important to the story but you can still be creative as much as you want for the outfits.)

"So sorry...huff!...I was TRYING to tell her goodnight but she insisted to...Dress me up... She found out we were on some kind of date and wanted me to look DECENT!...If only she knew my date wasn't really a...clothes type of guy." She looks a bit uncomfortable in it.

"Hey! I can wear a shirt ... I just don't do pants. It's not really my thing." I cross my arms. "Besides, I don't know why your complaining " I turn my head and look over at the garden. "...You look like a princess." I didn't want her to see my blushing face.

"...Heh, um... thanks...Ow! Okay theses heels gotta go." I watched as she takes her heels off and throws them somewhere. Putting her boots back back on...And dare I say. She looked kinda awesome. And I know a thing or two about being awesome. "Okay, I'm ready. Let's go check out this creepy place." "One step ahead of you, m'lady." "Shut up, Sonic."

We looked around the place. There was a lot of different types of pillars. One in particular had some odd writing on. "Hey Sonic ...Check this out...Seems to be some ancient right... Hieroglyphics maybe?" She said, trialing her finger down the picture writing. I notice the corner of my eye...some type of solid hard object in the shape of an hour glass. I picked it up. It looked to be some type of statue with a moon on the bottom and a sun on the top...We both look at it curiously. "Hmmm."

"I wonder what this thing is for?" I question. "Maybe it's just some type of decor? It does look like a statue after all." Y/N adds in. She could be right. But I have some odd feeling that it could be something else..

"AHHHHHHHHH!!"

We both heard screaming coming from the castle. It sounded just like Amy. In a sheer instincts. We quickly make it inside of the castle. Finding the group in no time. They were all on there butts with terror in their eyes. Y/N helping them up. "What's going on??" I question them. Still holding the statue in my grasp.

"We were looking for Chris's mom, and all of a sudden we were attacked by ghost!" Shouted Amy, who held onto Y/N's hand in fear. I look at the wall in front of them. It had the same markings as the pillar we were just looking at!

"I don't believe in ghost!" I grip onto the statue. Staring at the wall that had them so frighten. "...You have 7 magical gems that have the power to teleport you all, magic rings that turn you into a beyblade, and your a blue hedgehog faster than anything in this world...But you don't believe in ghost?" She called me out...Let's just say. I didn't believe in ghost- Until I saw a bunch of different ghost heads pop out from the wall. As I jump up and ram my foot into it. Causing it to break down slightly ... Showing some type of warp or portal.

"Uhh, Kid Genius...W-what is that??" Chris says out to Y/N. Who backs away from it. Holding up her dress slightly. "Well it looks to be a- OBVIOUSLY I DON'T KNOW! I'm a scientific genius! Not a Ghostbuster." As just when she said that. Multiple ghost like hands start coming out way quickly.

"But if anyone knows they're number- NOW'S A GOOD TIME TO CALL! IT!"
