•Y/N's POV•

My leg was still intact. Thank goodness. However, I did suffer from a lot of burn marks. It hurts to stand but I managed it surprisingly well. Right now, I was sitting at the table. Trying to repair my boots. Getting irritated slightly when trying to fix the inner wiring. "Did he... create the blaster out of pure electrical energy and...tiny micro robots?? No wonder it's going to take me a while!" I groan and slammed my head on the table.

Just for me to feel someone lift my head up gently. "... Mr. Tanaka?...." I said, tired shown in my voice. He pulls up a chair and sits next to me. "You are stressing yourself again. As much as I do repect you as an equal because you are more intelligent than the average person. However, you are still a child in my eyes. And w child at your age shouldn't be dealing with such stress...Mmhm, maybe saving the world is to much for you-"

"NO!...I-I mean....Sorry, I'm just... everything seems to be confusing me so much even when I already know the answer! I like saving the day! I like all my new friends and how my life has change!...but... realizing there is more things about me that even I didn't know....Scares me, that maybe I will never figure out this question...Who am I, Tanaka? ...Am I a Thorndyke?.... Am I a Sullivan? Am I Kid Genius?....Just who am I!...Who am I supposed to be?" I ask him. Trying to fix up my boots. Tanaka taking my hands and placing them down to my lap.

"...You are Y/N. That is who you are. In all reality, you shouldn't have to let people choose who you are. Because that is for you to decide! Remember, I may just be a butler. But I am also your butler. Not to mention, me and Ella have taken care of you even before Chris was born. We care for you just as much as we do for, Chris. We don't see you as a title...We see you as our little girl we watch grow up."

I honestly felt like I was going to cry. I jump into his arms and hugged him tight. Sniffling a bit, giggling after. "Thanks Tanaka..." I break the hug. Looking at the butler. He raises his hand up and takes off my glasses. Him seeing my red eyes. Not that I was insecure about them. They did scare some people. I started hating them when I found out, Eggman has the same pair too.

"Another thing...Ms. Y/N." I hear Tanaka say, as I place my glasses back on my face. I look up at him confused. Just for me to back up slightly with a terrified expression. Mr. Tanaka's face showed a silently anger expression. "If I see Sonic place his lips anywhere near your face again, I will not hesitate to-"

"Hey, Y/N! Try this delicious pie I made!" A voice booms out from outside the dinning room. It was Amy's voice, as she enters inside with Tails, Cream, Cheese and Chris following behind. Saved my the bell, I give Mr. Tanaka a sheepish smile and move past him. "Wow Amy! This pie smells really good." I try some of it...and holy cow on a pogo stick! This was the best pie I ever tasted!

"Amy, this is incredible! You should be a chef. Like SERIOUSLY you should." Once I had said those words...I didn't expect her to...cry!!?? I began to panic out. Thinking I just insulted her for some reason. Just for her to jump on me and hug me close. "AAHH! YOUR SO SWEET TO ME! THANK YOU SO MUCH!" She wraps her arms around my neck tightly. Starting to loose oxygen...Sonic, I feel your pain, dude. But the hug is nice.

Chuck came into the dinning room also. Gathering everyone's attention. Amy finally letting go. "I'm glad you're here. I have good news." He exclaims. Chuck with good news? Ain't that a first. Last time he said good news is when he claimed he had fixed the air condition...let's just say it went from June to December real quick in the Thorndyke household.

"What kind of good news, Chuck?" Tails asks the old man. Mr. Tanaka coming from behind him. Holding a tray of something. Wait- wasn't this dude JUST next to me...he really is a ninja....a Ninja Butler...sounds like a interesting anime.

"I'm going to hand out some official documents issued by the government that you'll need to hang on to." Chuck explained. Making me nearly cough on the pie I was finishing. That's right! They aren't official citizens. Meaning they've been living here illegally...Well no wonder the military had beef with them. Man, this country can be petty for no reason at all.

Tails and the others looked at him confused. Wondering what he exactly meant. "It's to verify your identity. They'll help you prove who you are when you travel around. Basically, the government games secrets and wants to know everything about everyone. Also, it's kinda illegal to go anywhere without some sort of identification." I explained out. Feeling a tug of my hair, just to see Cream playing with it. I allowed her. She was really good at it.

"Oh! And for tails, we have special license that allow him to fly any kind of aircraft he can build to any destination on the planet." He hands him at least 8 different types of flying licensed documents to the young fox. "All theses just to fly??" He asked. Honestly, I don't blame him. Why not just stick it all onto one piece of paper and call it a day.

"Well, that's the price tails and the others will have to pay for being made residents at this place. From now on, they're going to have to follow the same rules and regulations of the rest of us." Chuck tells them. I raised my hand up in the air. "I don't. I pretty much do what I want." I shrug, continuing to let Creams play with my hair.

Tanaka sighs. "And it's that attitude is what gets you in trouble with the government everytime. By the time your 18, you'll be in serious trouble." He scolds at me. Making me laugh at this. "Relax, I only have two years until I'm 18." I tell him. "I believe you mean three years, Ms. Y/N." Tanaka tries to correct me. "....I turn 16 in a couple of days...so technically. It would be two years." I tell him. The look on the man's face, nearly make me bust out in laughter. He ended up near a corner sulking. I'm guessing he forgot that my birthday was close by. I don't blame him, I hate birthdays anyway. I like the cake and all...but my parents insist on throwing a party all the time...and always trying to hook me up with boys my age. I thought the definition of Birthday parties are supposed to be fun. Not miserable.

"Oh right! You'll be 16 soon! Does that mean you'll get a car!?" Chris asked me. I thought about it. "Sure, maybe. I hope I get a really fast one! Maybe a sport cars." I smile. Kinda intrigued by having my own car.

Looking over at Amy, watching as she opens up her document card. Before seeing the smile drop off her face when she sees the picture of her. Which was her holding her hammer in the air and a very ticked off look. "I LOOK TERRIBLE! WHY DID THEY HAVE TO USE THIS PICTURE??! I LOOK LIKE A LUNATIC!!" Mr. Tanaka trying to calm her down. Saying it doesn't make her look crazy. "it makes me look like an insane, off the wall, out of control maniac!" Her body trembling in anger.

"Mmhm, your right you do like crazy." I bluntly say out loud. Amy looking at me in disbelief. Until, I place a hand on her head. "Crazily adorable. How can someone be so cute and so cool at the same time. If anything, it shows people your not the one to mess with. They see a cute pink hedgehog. But once they see this, they'll know better than to mess with, Amy Rose." I gently punch her shoulder.

Her green eyes sparkling bright. Ad she covers her mouth, looking up at me....What? Did I saw something wrong again? Geez, this is the second time. She hugs me once more. I sigh and just accept my faith. Her hugs were pretty comfortable, I couldn't lie there.

"Hey there, guys. What's all the excitement about in here." Sonic came in... wearing a leather jacket with flames on it. That's funny. It almost looks exactly like mine in my closet-....Oh heck no.... "ARE YOU WEARING MY 80S VINTAGE JACKET!?" I stood up. Slamming my hands on the table. He just shrugs and shows off in the jacket. "Maybe I did, maybe I didn't. Besides, I look cool in it don't I~?" He winks at me.

"Sonic, just in time. I've got your documents, too! Here, always keep this with you." He hand him his passport. Sonic looking at it with a baffled look. Not knowing what it is. "It's a passport, so you can go wherever you want whenever you want to." Exclaims Chris to the blue hedgehog.

"Pretty cool. I do like to travel! If I went everywhere I wanted to go on this planet, it'd take me...." He chuckles. "-about a day." He brags. "Yeah yeah, okay show off....Gimme my jacket!" I grab him trying to grab it back. Lifting him up as he ends up slipping out of it. And hitting the floor. Rubbing his head in pain, then sticking his tongue at me...So rude!

We all decided to take a trip to somewhere amazing. It honestly took some convincing for me to go. After all, my leg incident wasn't to long a go...And boy does Ella get protective. But Sonic convinced her that he'll take good care of me...Even tho I'm pretty sure I'm older than him. We all waved goodbye, as the X Tornado was in the air. Sonic chilling on the back of the plane, outside the cockpit. Me next to him. It was pretty windy but the breeze felt nice. I did manage to fix my boots. Tails being the great helper he is...and Cream even out some cute stickers on them.

"So, Y/N... Do you actually want me to go?"

I turn my head around. Confused at what he had just said. So I asked him to repeat the question. "Y'know, we're working hard to find all the Chaos Emeralds to send everyone home. As much as I really do want to get me and my friends back to our world...I am really going to miss you." He looks the other direction. His quills facing me. I honestly felt bad. I didn't know he cared this much for me. Well, we have known each other for a while now. And honestly, I can't stand to think that once day will be our last together.

"...yeah, I am too. But hey! Think about all the fun times we had with each other! All the fun stories you can share with you friends back home. You can even show pictures of me and tell them about me too...just try and leave out the embarrassing parts." I giggle, then took a good look up in the blue sky...and heard something I'd thought I'd never hear.

"....Come back with me."
