(LET IT BE KNOWN!...This video came out when I was 6-7. I remember watching this all the time and rewatching while writing this makes me feel like a kid again. I hope you enjoy!💙)

(•Y/N's POV•)

We finally met up with Helen and brought her over near the lake. I could see her big blue eyes sparkle at the site of me. "Kid Genius! It's so good to finally see you again." She said bowing her head. I blush at the flattery. "It's great to see you again, Helen. You're in the same class as my cousin!"

We got to know each other better. How I had saved her from nearly getting hit by a car when she got stuck in the street. And also when I would pick Chris up from school, she would be so nervous just to talk to me.

"Well, consider yourself a new friend of mine, Helen." I felt her wrapping her arms around me. I ease up and pat her head. Our little wholesome moment ended when Sonic pointed out something. "Huh...sure is nosy up there. You two stay here, I'll go get the boat, okay?"

He runs off just like that. "...WAIT WHY DIDN'T YOU JUST BRING THE BOAT WITH Y-... Nevermind he's gone...that hedgehog. I'd be annoyed with him if he wasn't so adorable." I sighed.

"Do you like, Sonic?"

That sentence made me froze. My face heating up slowly. "Um... what gives you that idea?" I nervously respond. "Because, I can tell he likes you, too. You two seem like such a perfect couple! Besides, he talks about you a lot."

I felt all of my blood rushed my head. "Does he now?.." Never expected him to talk much about me...

Sonic arrived in like 5 seconds. Holding the boat above his head. Had to give the little guy some props. He was pretty strong. Then again I have witnessed him destroy Eggman's robots within two seconds.

"I'm back! You two ready?" Sonic, with his signature smile, asked us as we both nod in unison. Sonic put the boat in the water, whiles I picked up Helen and her wheelchair and put them securely in the boat. Making sure not to let her fall. Sonic grabbing the ors and so did I. As we set off to our adventure...

☆゚.*・。☆゚.*・。☆゚.*・。

"Just a little bit farther, Helen. We're almost there." I tell the blonde girl. Me and Sonic paddling the ors at the same time. Giving it a bit more speed to make sure we get there quickly. It was hard work but we knew it would be worth it when we saw just how excited Helen looked. Her eyes were basically sparkling at this point.

"I'm so excited! I've dreamed of seeing this island for so long, you guys. I wished my father could've come with me. If only he didn't have to work so hard. We could be together more..." Her happy cheerful expression turned to a disappointed and depressed one.

Poor thing...all she wants is to really spend time with her family...

"Y'know...I deal with the same thing. Parents are always busy and it feels like you never see them. But, I can tell your father cares for you deeply and is why he's working so hard. But I can promise you that he's always thinking about you, and I'm sure he wishes the same thing. I have a feeling you two will spend more time together soon. That's a promise." I take a hold of her hands and place them in with mine as I wink to her.

Her face lightened up and she smiles. I smile back. Feeling pleased with my self that I managed to make her smile. It's good to let people know their not alone.

"Almost there!" Sonic tells us. Looking back at the beautiful island that was almost in reach. "Awesome! You hear that Helen- huh- Gah!" The sound of helicopters coming closer in made me stop my sentence. At least three helicopters were above us...this couldn't be good.

I looked at Sonic who was growling up at them in anger. I can't lie, I was mad too. What could THEY possibly want!!? Can't they tell we're trying to have a wholesome and peaceful moment.

One helicopter flies in closer causing the boat to rock back and forth and the water to move back violently. I held on to Helen's wheelchair to make sure she doesn't topple over. Then in a blink of an eye a grappling hook shots out from the helicopter, nearly missing my head as it steps through the boat.

"HEY! You could have hit me you JERKS!" I yelled out as the boat began to get dragged across the water from the helicopter. Sonic seemed to be really ticked off now.

"Are you two okay?" He asked in a serious tone. "We're good. But the boat isn't...Got any ideas, Blue Blur?" I asked him while still holding onto Helen's chair. Sonic smirks and pulls out the grappling hook, and hooks it on to the handle of Helen's wheelchair. I started to put the pieces together of what his intentions were. I powdered on my rocket boots and flew up as so did Sonic and Helen.

The helicopter pilot had no idea that he was taking us right where we wanted to go...I had a feeling this was the Presidents doing...and I'm never wrong.

Sonic and Helen were making their way to the edge of the cliff on the island. Waiting for the perfect time to strike before letting go of the grappling hook and flying down to the island. Landing perfectly on the edge... Before the wheels on Helen's wheelchair began to roll back as they were about to fall off the cliff.

I had quickly flew over there and held on to the back of them. Thanks for the help of my rocket boots it made me give a boost of pushing them back up to safety. I wipe the sweat off my brow. Sighing in relief as I power off my boots.

"That was a close one. You guys- uh! Helen don't cry! It's ok-" what I thought was the noise of Helen crying but turns out to be the noise of her laughter as she tilt her head back and laughed out.

We looked confused at her. Wondering why she was laughing. "Sorry! It's just that-- Well, I feel so alive. I never thought somebody like me could have such an adventure." She giggles out more. I was so glad she was having fun and that this adventure wasn't a total lost.

"Welp, that's Sonic's Adventures for ya! You never know what's in store for you." Me and Sonic wink at her. Sadly, our moment was ruined once again when the helicopters decided to make themselves known again.

"Ugh! Theses guys just don't give up, do they??...You thinking what I'm thinking, Blue Blur?" I smirk deviously to him.

"You read my mind, Kid Genius!" Sonic grabs the handles if Helen's wheelchair. As I set my boots into hyper drive to try and match Sonic's speed. Thanks to a piece of Sonics quill. "Hey, Helen...up for another Sonic Adventure?" I adjusted my goggles.

"Of course!" She shouts out of excitement. "All right!!!" In a blink of an eye me and Sonic both speed into the forest of the island. Giving Helen the best time she could ever wish for. That's the best part of going on adventures- is having with friends.

☆゚.*・。☆゚.*・。☆゚.*・。

We had a pretty long day today. The sun had set and the moon was high up in the sky. Me, Helen, and Sonic, were somewhere in the woods. I was leaning up on a tree looking up at the moon. It was a full moon tonight and it looked so peaceful.

Helen was telling us more about her family and how much they do for her...I can't say I don't envy her. Her parents sound like amazing people who deserve all the money in the world...I think I'll consider donating money to her. That way her family doesn't have to work so much and can spend time with their daughter. I won't tell her right now..I'll leave it as a surprise.

"--But, I had LOTS of fun today! I've never been so excited in my whole life. Thank you so much!" She thanks us. My head peaks over as I quickly stood up straight. Different lights shine over towards. We already know who and what exactly it was. Sonic smirks.

"Looks like things are about to get more exciting."

"Man, are these guys desperate or what?"

"I'm ready if you are!'

Once again. Sonic grabs Helen and speeds off into the distance. I look back at the ground of military men and realize something...wait a minute. They were on some flying hovering craft heading our way...Hey, I made those! Using my own machines against me? You fiends.

I quickly fly ahead of Sonic and look down at him. "Sonic! Their using my hovering craft that I created! I don't even know how they got a hold of them! I never even sold them. Besides that, their pretty fast but not compared to your speed. They are also terrible of turning! Keep that in mind!" I tell him. He looks at me and winks. "Thanks for the advice!"

Taking this chance. He began to swerve past different trees. Causing a few of the military men to either crash off the course they were going to, or crashing into trees. It looked painful and I was kind of disappointed to watch my creations get destroyed. But I was more stuck on the fact of how they even managed to get a hold of it... To be fair it seems like a lot of my products have been going around and I haven't even sold a single one. Some of them weren't even fully designed yet...is someone stealing my work?

We mange out of the woods. Sonic however didn't see the giant dead end right in front. Helen yelling at him to watch out. Thankfully he stopped just in time. But, sadly, the military was now getting closer to our tails. Waisting to time, I picked both of them up. Using every strength I had to keep them up and flew them on top of the top. Sonic eyes were on me the whole time. I manage to safely bring them to the top. I fall onto the ground, but quickly picked myself up.

"Are you okay, Y/N??" Sonic asked me while holding my arm. I groan as I held my arms. "Geez Sonic! How much to you weigh??" He was really heavy. At least for Helen, her plus her wheelchair wasn't to difficult but for Sonic to add on that weight. If it wasn't for my boots giving me the lift. My arms would have fallen off.

Sonic chuckles at my dramatic behavior. Before we all winced at the sound of crashing and moans in pain. Looking down we saw the military had crashed into the mountain. Making a giant cloud of dirt and smoke.

"Oh no...." I cover my mouth looking down. A tear rolls down my face. "It's okay, Y/N! I'm sure their fine! Their the Military after all!"

"Im crying because those were very good design hover crafts. I could careless about them." I said wiping the tears off my face. Sonic and Helen look at each other before laughing.

I clean off my goggles while closing my eyes in the process... placing them back on and opening my eyes back up. And what I saw was so breath taking. "...Helen... I think this day just got a whole lot better for you."

Helen gasp at the scenery of the beautiful flowers underneath the moon light...I can see why she wanted to come up here...I've visited over here a few times but I had no idea THESES were here. I'm glad Helen got to see this experience.

"-Dad was right. They're the prettiest flowers anywhere!" Flower petals danced in the breeze that passed by. The flowers were basically glowing in the Moonlight, making it look like magic.

Sonic was about to pick some flowers for her until she stopped him. Telling him that she wants to leave everything the way it was so when she comes back with her mom and dad it'll be just the same way when she first came. She really was such a saint.

A flower petal landed on top of my head. Sonic seeing this to as he smiles. "...The flowers up here aren't the only beautiful thing...The moon is beautiful, isn't it." His green eyes looked softly into mine.

"Do you like, Sonic?"

Those words kept playing in my head when he looked at him. The moment passed again when a grappling hook was shot near my foot. Causing me to quickly move back. Looking down at the ground and saw the military was still up and running. Climbing up the wall trying to get to us.

"DON'T YOU GUYS HAVE REAL JOBS TO DO! INSTEAD OF HARASSING KIDS?!" I yell at them in frustration. Helen's face held panic as she was worried for the flowers. If they come up here, they could ruin them.

"Not if we can help it!" We were on the move once again. Steering them away from the field of flowers. They were right behind us at this point. We had to come to a stop when we were at another edge of the cliff. This time the only thing down below was a whole body of water. There was no way out of this...or was there.

"Bummer...Huh?!" Sonic gas as we all looked behind us. To see that we were surrounded by groups of men holding out their weapons to us... This seems pretty anti-climatic. Like seriously who points weapons at children? "Seriously? Are you all THAT threatened by two teenagers and one tween? You all need help."

A helicopter had appeared behind us. Blinding us with its headlights as we gasp. "Alright, Kid Genius and Sonic. Let's go! You're wanted by the president, and don't pull any funny stuff. You either, Kid Genius! We don't want to put you in the big house again."

I growled under my breath. Sergeant Jerk Face is going to catch theses hands in a minute. "We'll go, but you gotta catch us first." I pulled down my eyelid and stick my tongue out at the men. Hearing a frustrating noise come out of them. As they raised their weapons at us. They aim and fire.

"NOW!" Me and Sonic quickly dodge the attack with ease. Causing the grappling hooks to jumble up and tie themselves into a giant knot. Sonic runs over to Helen and picks her up out of her wheelchair, mean while I fly up into the helicopter.

The pilot gasping when seeing me as he tries to land a hand on me. I dodged his attack and kick his back harshly as he falls out of the helicopter. Watching his body fall straight into the water. "To slow!" I shouted. Sonic making an appearance inside the helicopter, with Helen in his arms.

"What took you so long?" I asked with a smug look, sitting in the pilot seat and having on a headset just for looks. He rolls his eyes, placing Helen securely in the passenger seat. "Do you know how to fly this thing?" Helen asked me as I take hold of cyclic with both of my hands.

"Sure, I think. Never flew one but worth a try. This is your pilot speaking, if you look down on your right you'll notice a bunch of grown men who are about to lose their jobs because of a bunch of kids." I said out in a speaker like voice. Making Sonic and Helen laugh.

"Oh! Y/N! Don't forget!" He pointed down at Helens wheelchair. "Got it!" Lifting up a button and pressing it. Which caused a grappling hook to shoot over to the wheelchair and hooking on to it. Raising up the helicopter higher up in the air, and taking off with it.

"Phew! Glad that's over with. Man, it has been a long day...I could really go for some of Ella's food right now." I lean my head back, keeping my hands on the cyclic tight, yet steady.

"-Ah, Sonic! Y/N! The flowers!" Shouts Helen making us look down. The flowers looks even pretty up here. Helen's face was all worth it for this day. I wouldn't mind doing this all over again just for her.

"Well, I guess our adventures over." Helen said looking ahead with a smile still on her face. "Guess so. Did you have fun?" Sonic asks her which of course she replies with an absolute "yes".

"It's getting late. I should take you home. Don't want your parents to worry." I flick some switches at the top of the helicopter and look back ahead.

"--But, aren't you two supposed to go see the President?" Helen asked us. I completely forgot about the whole stupid President thing. I couldn't help but groan just from the sound of it. I already said I didn't want to go. Can't people take hints anymore.

"That guy can wait." Sonic tells her with a serious tone. He really did not care at all what he was supposed to do. All he cared about right now was to make sure his new friend made it home safely.

"But I'd feel awful if you didn't get to see him because of me... Please go see him, you two. I'll even go with you! Please..." She looks at us with big blue eyes. I groan and tilts my head back all the before sitting straight up. "We're going to the White House."

Sonic had his arms around my neck this whole time. And holds a thumbs up. "If your up for it, then so am I! It'll be funner with you around." We both smile at her, which she was happy to hear.

☆゚.*・。☆゚.*・。☆゚.*・。

We finally made it to the White House. Standing in front of the entrance as all eyes were on us. Sonic standing next to Helen who was holding onto the gear stick of her wheelchair nervously. I standing next to them as my rocket boots were on and keeping me off the ground.

"Where's the party?" I ask, flying inside of the place. Sonic pushing Helen inside as well. Everyone staring at us in awe. I hope they don't take pictures soon. I look like I've been chased by a group of military men...Oh wait.

The President walks over to us. He was a rather chubby man with gray hair, a navy blue suit, along with a green tie. He holds out his hand his hand to Sonic. I've met the president through a video call meeting. But, never in person. In reality, he was just another person to me. Didn't really feel much like an honor ...more of the other way around.

"Great to finally meet you, Sonic." He held out his hand to shake it. Which Sonic willingly agreed. He turns his attention to me and smiles. "Great to finally meet you in person, Kid Genius. Pleasure, truly a pleasure." He takes my arm as well shaking both of ours.

"Now! Hold that right there! Hurry, hurry! Reporters, photographers. This is the moment you've been waiting for!" Yelled out the Presidents assistant. But to his disappointment. All the reporters and photographers were knocked out cold and asleep. He screams out in sheer panic before passing out himself.

We all look over and blink owlishly...before throwing our heads back in laughter. Helen's laughter sticking out to me the most. I was really glad she had a fun time. I wish someone would have done something this nice to me when I was younger.

☆゚.*・。☆゚.*・。☆゚.*・。

I walked over to Helen and take a hold of her wheelchair. "I'll take you home, Helen. I'll get their quick and safe." I tell her. I watched as her smile frowned a bit. "Huh? What's wrong, Helen?" I asked her. Worried I had said something wrong.

"Well...it's just. Today wasn't just about the flowers...I really wanted to meet you! I've seen your gadgets you've made. Chris tells us all the time about your new projects...Your rocket boots are even so cool! I'm just..."

She looks down sadly for a bit. A tear rolling down her face. "Will I ever see you again? Will we ever do this again? Like in person? I know I'm not as smart or anything like you. But, your like the big sister I never had." She hugs me.

I smile at this. Placing my hand on her head. "Of course we will! Goodbye's aren't always forever. Which is why I prefer...See you later, Alligator." I said booping her nose as she giggles. "See you later, Alligator?"

I began to walk with her, pushing her wheelchair as I did so. The moon shining down on us. The nice summer night breeze flowing past us in a swift motion. As we walked off into the distance.

"After a while... Crocodile."
