(~Y/N's POV~)

It has been over a week sense the whole party incident. We were all just putting things back to normal- well as normal can get here when you have 5 talking animals living in your home- Right now I was on top of the roof of the mansion. Next to me was the Blue Blur himself. I was adding some more adjustments to the boots. I was trying to find new ways to make it faster...I wonder if I could match it with Sonic's speed.

"Mmh, why won't it- Ah got it. Hey Sonic can you pass me a- Sonic don't touch that... Sonic I said don't!" Was the last words I said before nearly getting blasted to death by the bottom of my rocket boots. Glaring at him as he laughs nervously.

Snatching it back I went back to work. "Hey, why don't you make a giant machine that could take us home? If we make the machine and use the chaos emeralds- We could go home." Sonic asks me while looking at one of my power tools. "Y'know, I could. But I'm kinda limited with my supplies. Making it won't be easy without the proper tools... Then again I could take some from Gramps."

Sonic yawns, making me roll my eyes. "Mmhm... I wonder..." Snatching a quill from his head making him yell out. "YOW! Hey! What's the big idea! Geez..." He whimpers, "Ah- Sorry Sonic, an idea pop in my head." I bring the quill closer to my eyes. Putting my goggles down to get a better look... Some type of energy was flowing through it-

I brake it apart and added it into the pair of the boots. Watching as the new energy courses through the word and engine. My red eyes glistening behind the goggles. "Cool..." Sonic rest his head on my shoulder, making me and him look at each other. We blink in unison, staring at each other.

"(Y/N)-" Sonic spoke his eyes first held with confusion, now were soften and half lided. Raising his gloved hand up to my face-

"NOW, WE AND WATCH OUR PROGRAM!" The sound of a small Cream can be heard outside the house crying loudly and a Cheese. We both quickly just down. Hoping through the window and into the house. "Hey, what's going on? Why's Cream and Cheese crying?"

I asked them, everyone in the room looking at us. Ella, Amy, Tails, and Chris in the living room. Looking at the TV and seeing it all staticky. "Aw man, who broke the TV. I was looking forward to watching My Tiny Horses." I complained as Chris chuckles nervously.

"Hi Sonic, Hi KG. Cream and cheese are upset 'cause the TV is busted." Chris points out making Sonic raise a brow. "That's what they're crying about?" "Uh-huh."

I get closer to the TV. Looking around and placing my hand on it. "Strange... Nothing doesn't look damaged with it? Actually...it doesn't look broken at all. Maybe a connection error- Pretty common...but it's a clear day." I think quietly...well tried to if it wasn't for everyone behind me complaining about not being able to watch their favorite shows. Get in line, I've been waiting for this new season for a years.

We all snapped out of it when we heard laughing coming close in. The same black creature/ robot then comes through once again. The same one who left a- explosive impact on the two of us.

Me and Sonic quickly jump behind the couch. Not wanting to be blown in the face again like last time. Peeking over to see what the little bastard wanted this time. He pouts, digging his hands into his bag. "That was a disappointing welcome if you don't mind me saying so." He grunts taking out another small TV. Just in case I quickly put on my safety goggles.

"Got a brand new message for Sonic and Kid Genius from Dr. Eggman. So listen up good." Ordered the small being as I deadpanned. Seriously, what does everyone here have again saying my actual name! I still don't know who the hell Maria is-

The TV cuts on showing Dr Robotnik AKA Dr Eggman on the screen with his fist to his hips. "Greetings, my dear and my little warthog. Sorry it's been so long since my last message, but I've been such a busy little bee. Take a look~"

Me and Sonic blank owlishly as we look at the screen which cuts to a giant robot outside of space inhaling different satellites. "That thing is swallowing up satellites." Blurted out Chris. "Thanks, Captain Obvious, we weren't aware. Thank you for pointing that out." I spoke not taking my eyes off the TV.

"Don't get any ideas, Sonic after all, I'm only having a little fun. So stay out of it if you know what's good for you. As we speak, my E90 is floating above stratosphere, collecting all manner of space junk so that I can make more and more of my ever so helpful mechanical friends. Well, what do you say to that?" Eggman let's out devilish laughter making me ball my first up.

"That damn rotten egg! When I see him I'm gonna-"

"Kid Genius! Don't think I have forgotten about you child! I must say the name fit someone like you. There is a lot we really must talk about, but first let me deal with this and then we can finally talk one on one, my dear Maria." Eggman says directly to me. Seriously! I don't get it! What is his deal!! And who the @$&# is Maria?!

"Pretty soon, you might be obsolete, Bokkun." Eggman informed to the creature who was referred to as Bokkun. Cute name for such a devilish thing. Once upon hearing those words, Bokkun began to tear up and start crying out like a baby.

"What's E-90?" Chris asked to Tails who shrugs just as confused as the rest of us. "I don't know, Chris. But I'll bet it's one of Dr Eggman's... I wonder what a stratosphere is?" Question Tail's as before I could answer his question- Gramps beat me to it. Bursting through the door like the place was on fire.

"A layer of air miles above us. It says high as the sky!" Okay, not exactly how I would have paraphrase did but it kind of gives them an understanding. Gramps going to grab Bokkun to get him out of house- just to get blown up in the face.

I quickly cover my mouth to hold my laughter back. Using my other hand to cover Sonic's mouth before he did the same. "He sure is 'Da-bomb' won't you say Gramps?" Snickering at my pun, earning a fist bump from Sonic.

"Very funny. But this is serious, Kid Genius. Eggman is causing havoc miles above anyone's reach!" Exclaimed Gramps in a scolding way. Making me suck my teeth in a response. "You forget your talking to the world's smartest kid in the world! Also, pretty sure the 'Tornado' could get us up there. Whaddya say, Tails?"

Hopping over the couch and walking over to him. Crouching near his level. He looks away hesitant rubbing his arm. "C'mon Tails, Why not? I'm game. And (Y/N) can get up their as well! She did some pretty neat work with upgrading thoses boots." Sonic tells me, making me raise a brow.

"Well yes, but if it's in the stratosphere I'm going to have to have a mask or something. The amount of ozone in the stratosphere, which protects us from biological harmful solar ultraviolet radiation, is so strong that the air itself is toxic. Long story short if I breathe I die..."

I think for a moment, before a light bulb goes off in my head. Running upstairs real quickly and grabbing something from my room, I quickly rush back down showing a helmet. Everyone looks at me confused.

"It's just a normal skating helmet." Informed Ella making me chuckle cocky. "Think again, Ms. Ella. I made this a couple of years ago. In one of my trips visiting the moon, I helped them make high-tech astro machines. To help them better in space missions. This is what I wore. Perfect fit, and it looks awesome on me." I places it on her head, placing a button which locks on to my head, and allowing me to breath oxygen inside of it. Holding a thumbs up, indicating I was ready.

Strapping the velcro strap on the boots. Making sure they were tightly on and not going anywhere. I prayed hoping that the quills I took from Sonic would give me an extra advantage of a boost. Hopefully my hypothesis works...

Sonic and Tails go inside the Tornado. Crossing my arms on my chest, looking back at the others and smiling confidently. "We got this guys! I have hope in us!" My boots power on as I rise Up from the ground. The Tornado doing the same thing.

Let's see what this old man wants now... Been a while sense our last battle. He still has my damn Ray-gun! No body, takes my machines away from me!

"No one."
