Night time...

" '---Day 1...

The story begins with two residents of a small town arguing over their differing music tastes. Once bustling with cars when the town was established, now only a few vehicles remember Radiator Springs.

Located on Route 66, the town has a nostalgic charm but sadly lacks visitors and workers. Fillmore, the owner of Organic Fuel, and Sarge, who runs the military Hut, initially clashed over music preferences.

I was worried they disliked each other, but it turned out they shared a strong friendship instead. I felt relieved to learn this. A memorable incident occurred one night around 1 AM when I found myself stranded near a dusty billboard, out of fuel after desperately avoiding HIM.

I was grateful that my brave daughter, Heidi, spotted Sheriff asleep and honked to catch his attention.

(*Heidi told me the whole story, I might add XD)

I forgot to mention that I met a charming car named Doc Hudson, who quickly became my closest 'friend.' I was surprised to learn that he serves as both a doctor and a judge in town. Initially, he seemed a bit cold, but I later realized that he simply wasn't very sociable.

I felt a bit sad because he seemed like a social car, guess I was wrong, and that helped me understand him better.

Doc is wise, kind, a good listener, logical, and a dedicated doctor and judge who genuinely cares for the community. Like for instance, later that afternoon, after waking up, meeting, and getting to know everyone, I had already put my daughter down for a nap.

Because one, she stayed awake all night until I recovered from my surgery. Despite my concerns, she insisted on staying up.

Can't blame her though, she gets it from me.

But anyway, right before I was going to go for a little drive to clear my mind, Doc was right at my door, took me by surprise to see him there, I greeted him and told him that I had just given my daughter a nap and that I was thankful for him and the others for letting us in, and grew worried that I had taken the space from them.

To which he told me that we weren't taking any space but were welcomed with open tires, I hesitated at first, but what Doc said next, in his words, made my heart skip a beat:

" 'I promise you're safe.' "

It brought me into tears to hear those words as it has been such a long time since anyone has ever genuinely told me that I was safe. I was happy to know that there were cars like him in the world, reminding me that kindness still exists, even in the most unexpected places.

It felt like warm and inviting.

And yet... I held a cold secret that I was forced but willing to hide it, for the sake of protecting the others, especially Doc. I can't risk him knowing how I ACTUALLY got this gas leak in the first place.

My mind raced until I locked eyes with Doc's blue ones. At that moment, time seemed to stop around us, and my body felt at ease as it was the first time someone had looked at me with such sincerity, unlike my husband, who used a similar gaze to conceal his malicious intentions after we got married.

Doc suddenly cleared his throat and, unexpectedly, offered to take me for a drive to show me around Radiator Springs. Surprised by this, I softly accepted his offer and we went for a drive.

He showed me around many closed shops that used to be open back in the day with their owners and the only ones that are left are the ones I've met.

But right now, I don't want to talk about the past.

" 'I want to focus now, on where Heidi and I could put our past behind by thinking about our new life.---' "

Nataly closed her journal, kept it inside her trunk before driving backward to press the button in order to open the door, she drove out by heading over to Flo's V8 cafe to have her organic oil, meeting up with her little daughter playing with Guido and Luigi while Flo, Doc, and the rest of the town for a drink.

Needless to say, she couldn't be happier.
