(Y/N) POV:

I quietly got up and look at myself in the mirror. my eyes were glossy and they were red, my nose was red too. I unlocked the door and quickly ran back to my bed and covered myself with the blanket.

Karma opened the door and walked over to me. he sat on my bed and I slowly pecked out from under my blanket. he studied my face and his expression softened.

"have you been crying?" he asks. "no" I lied. but you could tell by my voice.

"look i'm sorry. I shouldn't have interred with you and that boy." I turned around so my back was facing him. "yeah you shouldn't have. you and okuda looked to be a having a great time without me"

"I was protecting you..." he said softly. "protecting me? I don't need protection!" I snapped back.

"he didn't look like boyfriend material." he stated. god he's so stupid sometimes.

"karma, you can't tell me who I can and can't date. I knew rio was a bitch but I never tried to ruin your relationship or anything." I harshly said back. I look a deep breath and let it out.

"anyways, he's not my boyfriend. he was just a guy I met while you and okuda were off swapping spit" I calmly say and roll my eyes.

"okay i'm sorry." karma said. "mhm" I said back not completely forgiving him. "(Y/N), look at me" he pleaded.

I turned around and faced him. he genuinely looked sorry and he is my best friend after all. plus I might've been a bit unreasonable.

"i'm sorry" he repeated. "okay, I forgive you." I said.
"thank you" he said back. I patted the bed beside me and signaled him to lay down with me and he did. we both just laid there staring at the ceiling.

"so what did you and okuda talk about?" I asked. "uh you know. stuff" he said while closing his eyes. "what kind of stuff?" I asked again.

"boring stuff that I didn't bother to pay attention to" he said back. "god karma, you're hopeless. I already told you, she's not as bad you think"

"yeah whatever you say" he said back. I sat up and looked at him. his hair looked like a mess. my phone vibrated and saw it was from Nagisa.

I answered his facetime and his face was red from embarrassment. "uh look what happened-" "I won't tell anyone." I said.

"okay good" he said back and sighed with relief. "what's going on?" karma said and grabbed my phone. "nagisa and kayano were getting dirty in the sheets" I say.

"(Y/N)!" nagisa exclaims and turns red. "whoa there buddy, don't get her pregnant now." karma said and smirked at him.

"oh haha karma, very funny" nagisa said back sarcastically. I laughed and laid back down on my bed and shut my eyes.

Karmas POV:

"i'm just saying" I cockily said. "you don't know anything. you aren't even dating anyone" "actually I have a date on friday" I said back proudly.

I looked over at (Y/N) who was asleep now. I smiled at her. I felt a bit guilty for not telling her i'm going on a date with her friend.

"oh yea? who? peppa pig?" nagisa coughed. "nope okuda" I stated and stuck my tongue out. but he just laughed.

"don't be an ass" I said back. "yea sure, you have fun with your crush's crazy friend" he said. "crush's? huh?"

"oh come on Karma, you can't keep trying to deny you don't have a thing for her." I felt my face becoming red. I looked back at (Y/N) making sure she's still asleep.

"I-I already told you! I don't like her like that-"

"baby~ is ho is that?" a females voice said from the other side of the phone. "it's just karma" nagisa said to her.

"well come back to the bed~" I made gagging sounds and pretended to puke. "shut up!" nagisa said. "go get em, and don't forget to use protection!" I yelled and he hung up. I laughed as I turned (Y/N)'s phone off.

as I was about to place it down, a notification popped up. I couldn't help but look. it was from that boy in the fashion nova. I unlocked her phone since it had my face ID in it as well.

no I shouldn't. she'll be mad at me

my subconscious said. I hesitated at first hit I put her phone back. "goodnight (Y/N)" I said and kissed her forehead. I got off her bed and sneaked out.
but the moment I closed her door I face palmed. what the fuck is wrong with me? god what's happening to me? I walked back to my room and laid on the bed. is it the right thing to do to go on a date with okuda? I mean, it would make (Y/N) happy and I might have a good time. but what if it's a bad idea?

I mean, i am only doing it because of (Y/N). I shit my eyes to stop thinking of about the problems in my love life.

(Y/N)'s POV:

I checked my phone because I got a notification. it was from Shu. "hey i'm sorry for being a bother to you and your boyfriend. I just got the vibe that you were single..." it read.

"no I am. he's not my boyfriend or anything like that. he's just my best friend who was only doing that to be annoying. i'm so sorry" I typed back.

"oh okay, we're cool?" he replied. "yeah let me make it up to you?" I texted back. "what do you have in mind?" he asked.

"meet me at this cafe at 10:45?" i asked. "sounds good to me" he said. I turned my phone off and went to back to sleep.

I woke up at 9:30 and jumped into the shower. I jumped around, excited for my date and washed myself. I got out and dried myself off. I brushed my hair and started to blow dry it.

"arghhh why is that so loud?" I heard karma grumble from his room. I rolled my eyed and continued getting ready.

I walked downstairs and put my shoes on."whoa where are you going?" karma asked from the kitchen. he was making breakfast. he offered me a cup of tea but I declined it. "i'm going to a cafe" I replied.

"oh can I come?" he asked. "um i'm actually meeting me friend there." I said back. it wasn't a complete lie. karma raised an eyebrow at me. he knew I was being suspicious. I smiled at him innocently.

"i'll be back before you know it, I promise" I said. I ran out the front door and jumped into my car. "i'm on my way" I texted Shu. I plugged my phone into the aux cord and started my car.

when I arrived at the cafe, and I walked I saw him sitting down at a table. he looked up and waved at me. I walked over and sat down across from him. " hope I didn't keep you waiting long" "oh no you didn't" he said back and smiled.

a waitress came around and we both ordered. "you have cute accent" I said. he smiled, "oh thank you. i'm originally from england but I moved down here with my father." he said. "oh that's cool, what it like in england?" I asked.

"well the weather is shit. it's not nearly as nice as it here" he said. I laughed at smiled at me. "do tell me about yourself" he said.

"well, I live with my mom, but she's overseas on a business trip for the rest of the year so I have the house to myself. I have an older brother named jiho and he's at college right now."

"what about that boy?" he asked and the waitress placed our food onto the table. "oh um, well yea he's living with me until my mom comes back. his name is Karma." I said awkwardly.

"whoa, how look have you guys been friends for?" he asked. "for a long time. i've known him since we were babies actually" I scratched the back of my head.

"not trying to be rude, but what about your father?" I looked at the ground. he placed his hand on top of mine. his hands felt warm and soft. "you don't have to tell me" he said. I looked up at him.

"my father left us when I was 6. he never came back ever since." I said. "oh i'm sorry" he said. I know he wanted to ask more questions but he didn't push it. the waitress came back with our drinks. I enjoyed having company by Gakushuu. he was extremely sweet. I only just met him and I know it sounds crazy but it felt like i've known him forever.

we finished eating and he escorted me out. "well I had a great time today. thanks for the invite, hope we can do this again some time." I smiled and nodded. "yea me too, see you around then" I said.

I got into my car and drove back to my house. I opened the door and saw nagisa and karma sitting on the sofa. "finally you're back. took you long enough" karma said.

I put my keys on the counter and sat down next to them. they were watching some horror movie. "where were you?" nagisa asked.

"isn't it obvious? she's in a good mood, she's smiling and look at what she's wearing. she definitely went to see a boy. how much you wanna bet it was that stupid orange haired british fuck?" karma rudely said. "yeah I did. I was with Gakushuu. so what? why do you fare anyways karma?" I glared at him.

"who's Gakushuu?" nagisa asks. "(Y/N)'s new boyfriend" karma rolled his eyes. "he's not my boyfriend! he's just a friend." I reassured nagisa.

"oh okay. so when do I get to him?" nagisa asks. "depends when do I get to jet Kayano?" I fired back. "when are you guys gonna shut up about relationships? british fuckboy this kayano and me making out blah blah. who cares?"

"obviously you do Karma if you keep making such a big deal over this!" I mocked him. "touché" nagisa said and have me a high five. karma just laughed.

"well actually karma has a da-" nagisa started. "no karma doesn't" karma interrupted. karma glared at nagisa with a look to tell him to keep his mouth shut.

"you guys are weird." I said and laughed. "thanks, love you too" nagisa said. "we should go to the cinemas and watch Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker" karma said "sure i'm done" I said back.

"can I bring my girlfriend?" nagisa asked. I smirked at him. "I thought you'd never ask" I said eagerly wanting to finally met her. "oh I can invite Gakushuu to come along with us-" "yea no" karma said.

I laughed since I was only joking and hanged out a bit until it was 6:40 pm and time for us to get to the cinemas. I didn't bother changing my outfit and we all got in Nagisas car and went to pick up Kayano.

I got out once we arrived and she was insanely pretty. she was around the same height as me as well. she greeted me with a hug so I hugged her back. "hey you must be (Y/N)!" she exclaimed. "that's me" I smiled back. "i'm so glad to have finally met you! Nagisa has told me a lot about you!" I added.

"me too. I have a feeeling we'll be besties" she said. "let's go" karma said impatiently. kayano sat in the passenger seat with nagisa while karma and I sat in the back.

karma finally stopped acting weird and we finally all got along. we arrived at the cinemas and walked in. karma and I shared a popcorn and a drink while nagisa and kayano did the same thing. I didn't bother grabbing 2 straws since we did this all the time. it was normal for us. we walked into the room where they had the movie playing and we sat down.

I sat in the middle of Karma and Kayano while Nagisa was sitting next to Kayano on the other side. we watched the movie and I felt stuff on my head and I looked to right and saw karma putting popcorn in my hair. I playfully slapped him and he started to laugh. he threw popcorn at me and I did the same back. "shhhh shut up stupid lovebirds!" some random boy said from behind us.

"yea karma shut up" I whispered. "I didn't say anything" he said back. we laughed and I tried to stop. "you're stupid" karma said. I threw a handful of popcorn at him again and said "you're stupid!"

the movie ended and we walked out. "you two stop" a man said. karma and I looked at each other and stopped like ha said. "you're going to have to clean up your popcorn mess" he said. "i'm leaving, take the bus home" nagisa said and walked away with Kayano.

"great" I groaned. "what was that? do you want to clean up the whole cinema?" the man asked. "no" I mumbled. "that's what I thought" he said and handed karma and I a broom. "now get to work" he said. karma and I walked down to the row of seats we sat at.

"this is al your fault" karma said. "no it's yours!" I said back. "you're so dumb" karma said. I gasped and pretended that I was offended. I turn around and cross my arms. "so you're going to give me the silent treatment?" he asked.

I just ignored him. I was just pretending but it was funny watching him to try to get my attention. "that's unfair" he complained. he ran at me so I ran away. "come back here!" he called. I started to laugh but I still didn't say a word. we just ran around the whole cinema until I became tired and of corse i'm clumsy so I ended up tripping.

karma didn't slow down so he came falling on top of me. i started to laugh and karma did too. he held himself up by his hands which were on either side of my head. we stopped laughing when we realized that we were just staring into each other's eyes.

karma smiled at me. it felt weird but also felt... normal? I leaned my head up and karma leaned his into me. "you're crushing me" I joked and he got off me. I held my hands out and karma helped me up. "so you're finally talking?" he asked.

"I want to go home" I said. karma nodded and we headed for the door but it was locked. "no no no" karma yelled. "cal down" I said. I tired the door but it was locked. I tried to push and barge it but it didn't work.

"help" I screamed. no one answered. I ran around the cinema to try and find another door but it was no help. "great we're stuck" I said. "no shit" karma mumbled. "they'll let us out tomorrow or whenever they open the door again" I added. "what's the time?" I asked him.

karma tried his phone but it was dead. I tried mine to call Nagisa but mine was also dead. great. "we may as well be dead" karma grumbled. "geez don't say that. why are so negative and dark all the time? well get before you know it. but at least now you get to hang out with me, the lost amazing person alive" I air sarcastically.

Karmas POV: she was right. she's always saw the good in situations. "okay" I calmed down. "may as well get comfortable if we're going to be here for awhile" I said and sat down in a seat. I reclined it and laid down. (Y/N) followed and did the same next to me.

"(Y/N)?" I asked "yea karma?" she replied. I prompted myself up so I could see her face. "so Gakushuu" I started. "what about him?" she asked. "do you... like him?" I asked. it was none of my business but I wanted to know. badly and I don't know why.

"I only just met him" she said. "I know but... sometime when you first meet people you just feel a connection" I said. she sat up and faced me. "I mean yea he's great. he's attractive and sweet. but I don't know." she said and laid back down.

"you seem to know what you're talking about" she added. "have you ever been in love?" she asked. i thought for a second. the only person i've ever dated was rio but I never loved her. most of was because of my image.

"hasn't everyone?" I said back. "oh yea I forgot about rio" she murmured. I rolled my eyes. "I was never in love with her. it was... different" I stated. "how?" she asked back.

"jeez you're mosey" I complained. "says you, you always ask about my relationships now a days" he argued. "fine that fair" I said back. "but I don't know it's different it just was..." I trailed off.

"how though?" she asked again. "I hate to admit it but I don't want to deny it. i think it was lore lust than love. she never wanted to be around me. she only did when it came to school it made her profile look better. she basically used me for my body and for her appearance, although we never did anything more than kiss. but then again I sort of did the same back to her. so I guess i'm no different"

"i'm sorry karma, and don't compare yourself to her. you're so much more, karma." she said. "it's fine, I wasn't even that hurt by it anyways. at least it's over with now" i said. "do you still have feelings for her?" she asked me.

your POV:

"no no I don't. I think about how we were but not just about her. i'm glad we broke up even thought it wasn't mutual." karma said. I felt bad for asking about rio. "do you want to study tomorrow?" I asked changing the subject. "study what?" he asked

"remember if you don't pass math you might have to retake a semester." I stated. "oh yea... sure we can do that tomorrow." karma said. I nodded. "how much longer do you think we'll be in here?" I asked. "idk" karma said and when I looked over at him his eyes were closed and he looked like he was sleeping. I decided to try to sleep too since I had mother better to do.

"oh my god, karma?" I heard a girl say. I opened my eyes and it was blurry at first so I rubbed my eyes a bit. "Rio, what are you doing here?" I heard karma say with annoyance in his voice. "i'm here to see a movie, duh. what are you doing here sleeping... what her" she looked me up and down with a judgmental look. classic rio.

"her has a name actually. and it's long story, wouldn't want to bore you to death since your time is so precious" I said sarcastically and rolled my eyes. "why do you even care if i'm with (Y/N)? you cheated on me." karma said.

"I know baby, it was accident. I swear, I-I didn't mean to." she said bad placed her hand on Karmas and sat down in the seat next to him. I instantly stood up and I don't know why. it's like it triggered me or something. I didn't want to see Rio anywhere near Karma.

"leave him alone, he doesn't like you anymore. you fucked up big time and lost a sweet caring person. it's all your fault that you hurt him so badly so just leave him alone and stop following him. it's none of your business who's with so stop asking and just shut the fuck up already." I snapped at her and walked out of the cinema since the door was unlocked now.

I called an uber and waited outside. someone placed their hand on my shoulder and I jumped at the touch. "uh hey (Y/N)" I heard someone say with a slight british accent. I turned around. "gakushuu?" I asked and hugged him. I didn't know why, but my body just did it. like it was natural.

"what are you doing here?" he asked. I told him everything, from the moment we went to the cinemas and the getting locked in. "whoa i'm sorry to hear. you should've just called me and I would've been able to help." he said and smiled at me. "thanks but my phone died." I said.

we started talking outside and I got to learn about him. he was actually really fun to talk to. "(Y/N)?" I saw Karma say as he walked out of the cinemas. he walked up to me and he didn't place his arms around me this time. thank the lord.

"oh hello, Karma isn't it?" gakushuu asked him. "yea" Karma said shortly but just glared at him. "nice to meet you, well properly this time" gakushuu said and held out his hand. Karma hesitated at first but did it anyways but once they let go he swiftly pulled his hand away. "oh I have to go, my uber is here" I said and hugged gakushuu goodbye.

I watched as he walked away and got inside the car. Karma followed me but the whole ride home we didn't say anything. as we arrived we got out and walked inside. I slumped myself on the couch and Karma sat next to me. "so what was that about?" Karma asked suddenly.

"huh?" i asked "you know, the thing was Rio" he said awkwardly. "Karma, i'm your best friend and I care about you. I'm just trying to look out for you and I know you don't have the guts to say anything like that to her face." I said and turned the tv on and went on netflix. "thank you..." he said quietly. I looked over at him and saw he was blushing. I know he has trouble saying his feelings so it was rare to see him like this. I smiled at him and choose something to watch.

"urge why do you watch this shitty show?" karma asked. "it's amazing. I mean look at how freaking cute Hardin is. and his accent.." I said basically drooling. "you have a bit of drool there" Karma said and whipped it off with his thumb. "but doesn't gakushuu have a slight british accent too?" he asked.

"yea he does. it's adorable" I said. "hm" is all I heard from karma. once we finished watching the movie Karma kept asking questions but he finally stopped. "so what do you want to now?" i asked. "should we study?" Karma asked. "sure" I said and got up. we went up to my room and got out all of my books and materials we'd need.

"hey honey, my business trip here is actually going to take longer than I thought it would. I had planned something and was hoping i'd be able to take you but I can't. i'm sorry." my mom texted me. "huh?" I replied back. "check the mailbox" she texted back. I got up and walked outside to our mail box and took out an envelope that was in there.

I walked back inside and sat down. "(Y/N) why don't you buy anything fun to eat?" I heard Karma complain from the kitchen. I ignored him and sat down at the table and opened up the letter.

"sorry I couldn't take you myself, I wish we could spend more time together but work has been very busy. enjoy it with your friends, love you and stay safe. -mom" it read. I pulled out four plane tickets and read them. my jaw dropped and my eyes widened. "OH MY LORD!" I screamed.

"what?" Karma asked worried since I basically just fell out of my chair. "WERE GOING TO HAWAII!!" I exclaimed and jumped into his arms, hugging him. karma just stood there holding me until I calmed down. he let go of me and I continued jumping around like a 5 year old.

"uh (Y/N) what are you talking about?" he asked. "we're going to hawaii on friday! my mom bought us tickets to go since she can't come" I squealed. "oh sweet" Karma replied and looked at the tickets on the table. I called Nagisa and told him about it. I also hacked Mychael but he couldn't come so I invited Kayano to come as well.

Karma and i started to study and after 3 hours we finally took a break. "see it's not that hard" I said. "thank you..." Karma said and faced me. "hey it's nothing. you're gonna ace the class next semester, I promise. after all, i'm a great teacher" I said jokingly. I stoped laughing though when I felt karma place his hands on my mine.

I looked down at them since it was so sudden but looked up at him when he said, "no I mean it. thank you, it really means a lot to me." he stared into my eyes and I felt my face being red. "ok ok, I get it just stop saying thank you so much. it's not like you" I said and laughed it off.

"im going to go take a shower" I said and stood up. I walked up stairs and Karma followed. he walked towards his room while I walked into the bathroom. I took a shower and when I got out I dried myself off. I let my hair down, which I usually don't do but did it anyways.

I changed into a sweatshirt and a pleated skirt. I laid down on my bed and turned on netflix and went on my phone while I waited for Karma to finish showering. I texted my mom thank you and then started to text Gakushuu.

Karmas POV: I finished my shower and dried myself off. I put on some sweatpants and just went shirtless. I walked into (Y/N)'s room and saw she was on her phone. "what movie are we watching?" I asked and sat down next to her.

"uh it 2?" she suggested. "i'm done" I said and searched up the movie and waited her to get off her phone. "hurry your ass up already" I said impatiently and tried to grab it out of her hands but it ended up falling under her bed.

"god you're so annoying" she said and got down to tried to reach it under the bed. I watched her as she struggled to get it. and that's when I saw her panties. she was wearing a skirt and since she was kneeling down I had a great view.

I couldn't keep my eyes off her ass and that's when I felt something in my pants. I looked down and realized a bulge was forming. fuck. I looked up again and (Y/N) was still trying to get her phone. wow that just made it a lot harder

I hit my lip and grabbed a pillow to cover it up. "finally i got her" she said. she stood up and pulled her skirt down a bit. she sat back down and looked over at me. "hey! that's my pillow!" she said.

fuck. please don't take the pillow. she came over and tried to steal it from me. I gripped it so she couldn't get it. "I-i'm using it." I said. "for what?" she asked. "I-it's uh cold" I lied. "it's summer time and you're wearing sweatpants. she stated. she tried to pull the pillow off my me but I didn't let her.

I gripped it harder and she fell on top of me. oh shut this can't be happening. why now? fuck fuck fuck fuck fuck. she started laughing and then stopped as she fell.

she didn't get up however. "please just let me have the pillow" I pleaded while giving her puppy eyes. I could tell I was a blushing mess and I felt insanely hot. she nodded but still didn't get off. she felt like a magnet and I was attracted to her.

I got closer and she did too. our faces were only inches apart. my breathing became heavier. I licked my lips as i looked at her lips and then back up at her eyes. maybe I was just imagining things since I was insanely flustered and horny at the moment but I swear I saw her bite her lip.

argh she's making it so hard. in several different ways. I want to. I really do. I really want to. but I can't. I have a date with one her friends tomorrow. fuck maybe I should just cancel it? after all I only asked because of (Y/N).

wait no, she's my best friend though. i'm her best friend and we're just friends. that's it. holy shit. do I have feelings for her? no that can't be. it feels completely different than with Rio. but I don't feel the same way I do with (Y/N) that I do now than how I used to. no, that's crazy. it must be because i'm horny right now.

fuck, that only makes it worse though. cause I felt myself to start closing my eyes as I continued to lean closer. fuck, what am I doing? why does it feel so right though? no no no no shit cheese noodles. I shouldn't be doing this.

"ARGHHHHHH"

my eyes shot open and so did hers when we heard someone scream from the tv. i felt myself becoming even redder at the thought we were actually about to kiss. fuck. what's with me lately?

"t-the movie" I barely stuttered out. "oh yea... the movie. we better watch it" she said and got off me. we didn't break eye contact until she finally gave towards the tv. I held the pillow to my tightly and laid next down next to (Y/N) and rested my head on her shoulder.

my insides screamed as some random jump scare happened. i sat up and grabbed (Y/N)'s head and pulled it towards my chest. "fuck" I mumbled. "it's not even scary" I heard her laugh into my chest.

your POV:

I laughed into karma since he was holding my head to his chest for some reason. I looked down and saw that he wasn't holding the pillow. I slowly reached my hand out and when I moved it a bit I saw something....

I blushed and let go of the pillow. I moved out of his grip and just sat awkwardly. I decided not to say anything to save him from embarrassment. after he calmed down I felt him grab my leg when another jump scare happened

"oh stop being a baby" i said and grabbed his hand and held it. I laid my head on his chest. he calmed down and rested his hand on my head. I don't remember what happened since I fell asleep.

i'm sorry that I won't be able to finish this one shot in only a few parts because of how long I intend it to be. I would've made this chapter longer but I don't have time rn and I just wanted to get something out for u guys.
