VITTORIA CORELONE was know for being many things: an orphan ( once) , an actress, a director and most notably being forever single with her long standing rule that she would never fall in love.

Her birth parents had died the first chance they had to leave the house alone after having their daughter. Her only legible family  ( her grandmother) couldn't keep the girl, and had surrendered  her to social services who was soon enough placed into the custody of a couple who's own efforts in having children had proved 
to be fruitless so took the girl in with open arms.

Vittoria's parents loved her very much, and were the reason she'd got into acting, her mother would watch Francis Ford Coppola's movies with her daughter at every chance and a father who would buy frivolous costumes and play pretend with a daughter who could cry on command ( surprising for the age of 5)

And by the time Vittoria was six she was acting in the industry and by sixteen she was a household name in England, and by twenty the name Corelone had a global reach.

Vittoria's father had always told his daughter throughout her life that that no matter how famous, how rich, how publically adored — no man was worthy enough of her.

At first, it was something Vitoria laughed off at the time and seemed like the protocol  thing for fathers to tell their children when they reached the age where boy were more than just those annoying buggers riddled with 'cooties'.

but when her previous dating efforts had proved the truth in her fathers words, which is what ended in her swearing off men entirely and focusing on her career.

Which ended up being alright as at the age of 25, Vittoria was at the top of her game — Having directed many successful episodes of shows and films that did decent numbers at the box office, starring in shows that led to award nominations and starring along side people she now called her closest friends ( and were willing to help her with the star billing on her new projects)

Her most recent spout of success being having spent six months in London on a stint in the National Theatre's  interpretation of Macbeth. Although the late nights, the early mornings and the absolute ball ache of having to speak Shakespearean English with a sense of normalcy were seemingly worth it — having been nominated to a prestige award at a award ceremony held in New York that year.

So Vittoria did what any normal person would: got drunk with her friends, cried on the phone to her parents about how grateful she was for them, and then got her shit together and packed for a weekend in Manhattan.

This weekend was meant to be relaxing as suggested by the entourage of fellow familiar Hollywood faces — which meant a few too many drinks at the awards after party which encouraged too many lingering gazes to the handsome brunette Irishman who stood across the room from her for the majority of the night, which consequently started the domino effect of talking to eachother in close proximity because of how loud the music was, the ' should we go somewhere less hectic' which subsequently led them back to one of their hotel rooms.

Leading to touches, and kisses, and thousands of pounds worth of loaned designer clothing dropping to the floor of a Four Seasons hotel room.

And the awkward conversation the following morning over a room service breakfast where Vittoria discloses that she doesn't date.

Which leads to the even awkwarder conversation when Vittoira finds herself pregnant by said Irishman ( that she may or may not have been unable to stop thinking about) a month later.

With no other form of contact other than some kind of dms on some sort of social media platform she has had to hunt him down on.

Vittoira simply announces ' I'm having your baby' followed shortly by ' and it's none of your business.'
