AUTHOR'S NOTE !
This is a build-your-own story where readers help to decide the story by voting on options presented by me! For those of you just joining, the voting for the base story components has already been decided (available on the next page) but your chance to vote is not yet over! At the end of every chapter you will be presented with options for what you would like to happen next and there may be more voting on story components as the story progresses. But before you begin, there are a couple rules:

1 !  To keep things simple, please vote by commenting "vote" in-line on the option you'd like and please only vote once per category. Once the next round of voting has been opened, any votes on the previous round(s) will not be counted so I advise keeping this story in your library to keep track of updates. Also, please only vote for the options presented. The easiest way for this story to work is for me to create a set of options for each category based on decisions made in previous rounds of voting. I'm sure you guys have some excellent ideas, but if the voting process is too open-ended, it'll be too difficult to write.

2 !  Be kind to myself and to others. This story will be a collaborative effort so what you vote for may not be the final decision. It's okay to feel disappointed about this, but please don't leave comments or message me expressing this disappointment. 3 !  I hate having to even address this but please do not plagiarize my ideas. While this story is collaborative, the OC's and plots are still my own creations, as well as the story format. While similar concepts may exist, the format for this one was created by me. If you'd like to use it, you're more than welcome to (in fact, I encourage it because I'd love to participate in some), but please make sure to credit me.

Since this is my first attempt at something like this, please be patient with me. There may be some hiccups here and there and updates may be slow. This likely won't be a perfect process, especially since I'll be writing it as it goes, but I'm excited to play around with a new type of story-telling format!

Also, it's not at all required, but I'd really appreciate you guys adding this story to your reading lists and/or sharing it on your message boards to get the word out! Tagging people who you think would be interested would also be appreciated. This story is dependent on interaction, so the more, the better!
