Owen and Nick enter the main area of the Indominus enclosure through a side door before warily walking through the jungle to the back wall where a worker, Ellis, is inspecting the claw marks on the wall. Owen is on alert and Nick appears to be nervous as they finally reach Ellis and Owen is quick to brush his fingers across the deep grooves with concern based on its design. "That wall's forty feet high. You really think she could've climbed out?" Nick asked in a sceptical tone. "Depends..." Owen trailed off in response. "On what?" Nick asked. "What kinda dinosaur they cooked up in that lab," Owen answered him making both males feel more on edge. Suddenly, Vivian's voice came through Nick's radio all garbled, "...area... Paddock 11... dock 11, do you copy?...."
Nick answers appearing unconcerned, "Yeah, what's the problem?" Owen furrowed his brows as he glanced around, a wave of unease washed over him as he slowly realised what was going on. "Its in the cage! Its in there with you!" Vivian shouted into the radio leaving Nick confused while Owen sprang into immediate action. "Go!" Owen ordered as he pushes past Nick and the three men rush for the door they entered through. Nick begins to lag behind due to his weight and exhaustion allowing him to spot the Indominus Rex' outline in the trees prompting him to turn around. Owen and Ellis skid to a halt as the Indominus Rex emerges from the jungle and blocks their escape, it bellows a mighty roar at them.
The two men turn and run back towards Nick but unfortunately, Ellis isn't fast enough and the Indominus Rex snatches him up in her clawed hands as he screams before being killed by the beast. Reaching the back door, Nick uses the handprint ID and a security code to override the door lock. The huge door begins to open and running to it, Nick hesitates as he looks back at Owen who is running towards him with the Indominus Rex right behind him. The Indominus Rex runs with Ellis in her jaws, she rips off one of his legs and Nick screams fearfully and exits through the gap in the door. In the control room, the video feed plays for those inside including Mr Masrani and on the screen, the words 'SECURITY BREACH' showed for all of them to see.
"Close the door," Mr Masrani ordered Lowery. "We can't lock him in there with that thing!" Lowery replied to the boss. "Come on, close it now!" Mr Masrani ordered again but Lowery doesn't react prompting Mr Masrani to lean forward and press the button himself. The door begins to slowly close as Owen races towards it with the huge predator gaining on him. "Shit!" Owen exclaimed as he made it through however, the Indominus Rex manages to slip inbetween the closing door and the wall quickly using her strength to knock the heavy door off of its tracks with the servos whining in protest and then steps out of its paddock, freed. Owen, hidden underneath a crane, watches with wide eyes as the Indominus steps over to where Nick is sitting in front of a pick-up truck.
The Indominus Rex walks around the left side as Nick, mustering his courage, peers around the right front bumper. He whimpers and sobs as he sees the large tail disappearing around the rear of the truck, then turns back around, trying to hide. Suddenly, the truck is violently knocked aside, flying through the air and crashing noisily to the ground upside-down, leaving Nick out in the open completely exposed to the vicious beast. He and Owen share one last glance before the Indominus Rex snaps her jaws around Nick, lifting him out of view. Acting quickly, Owen draws a survival knife gifted to him by Brooklyn and rolls onto his back, he reaches up and slices the crane trucks fuel line and spills fuel to cover his scent to the Indominus Rex.
The Indominus Rex approaches the crane truck and crouches down on all fours, sniffing. Owen lies completely still while taking shallow breaths as the Indominus' bloodied, gore-encrusted jaws inches closer and closer until finally she withdraws, rising up out of view and walks away. Slowly, Owen lifts his head to watch her go, her thudding footsteps retreating into the distance. Shivering, he lies back down and exhales in relief before his mind trails to the one person who he cared about more than anyone else. Waiting for the Indominus to get further away before he slid out from the crane and grabbed his phone, he quickly clicked Brooklyn's contact and put his phone to his ear impatiently waiting for her to answer the phone only to curse when it goes to voicemail; he had to find her.

Meanwhile that chaos was happening, Brooklyn sat across from Zach and Gray on the monorail as she was taking them to the Gyrosphere Balls for a field tour. Brooklyn was texting her parents while she could as Zach blatantly watched her from beside Gray who seemed to be upset despite the smile that had been on his face all morning. "If mom and dad get divorced, will one of us be with Mom and the other with Dad?" Gray suddenly asked Zach distracting him from staring at Brooklyn's smile. "What? Why would you say that?" Zach asked his younger brother confused. "Because they are," Gray replied sadly. "No, they're not getting... they're not getting a divorce," Zach snapped back at his brother, "Look, you haven't been around long enough. They've always been that way."
Gray shook his head as his eyes grew misty with tears, "They get mail from two different lawyers." Zach scoffed at that, "That doesn't mean anything." Gray sniffled, "I googled. They're divorce lawyers." Zach rolled his eyes as Gray tried not to cry. "All right, whatever. You know what? It doesn't matter, okay? I'm gonna be gone in a couple of months anyway. I mean... all of my friends' parents are divorced," Zach rambled angrily towards his brother who began crying at Zach's words. "Hey, knock it off. You're gonna cry? Look, you're gonna get two of everything, right? You're gonna get two birthdays, two thanksgivings, two--" Zach was cut off by Gray, "I don't want two of everything." Zach rolled his eyes again feeling irritated by everything. "Yeah, well, it's not up to you. All right? There's a point you have to grow up," Zach told him.
Brooklyn frowned hearing the Mitchell brothers conversation, she knew that Zach was snapping out of hurt about the divorce. The young woman stood from her seat allowing a few others to take it before she moved to squeeze herself between Zach and Gray, both brothers were surprised by the small woman's actions but Zach happily shared the space with her. "Couldn't help but overhear the conversation," Brooke said softly making Zach tense up, he felt shame knowing the girl he liked heard his family troubles and how he treated Gray. "And Gray, don't let Zach's words get to you, okay? He's hurting too no matter how tough he plays it," Brooklyn stated as she leaned into Zach's side in hopes to comfort him as she focused on easing the younger teens sorrow.
"I know it's scary but if you're parents do get divorced, I promise its not the end of the world and while it will hurt for some time, you'll come to learn it may have been the better choice for them," Brooklyn expressed as she pulled Gray to sit on her lap allowing her to steal his seat despite leaning in Zach who had moved closer enjoying her comfort. "But I don't want them to get divorced..." Gray whimpered. "I know, buddy. But that's not up to you. If they aren't happy with each other anymore, they shouldn't stay together as it'll onlu create a miserable home. Don't you want them to be happy?" Brooklyn asked softly. "Of course I want them happy," Gray replied quietly. "Then let them do what is best for them. It's not tearing the family apart and you can be strong through it," Brooklyn assured him.
Gray nodded as Brooklyn wiped his tears away before she said, "And Zach is right. Two of everything is awesome. Take that from a girl whose parents were never even a couple." Gray giggled at that before frowning slightly and looking at Zach, "I'm gonna miss you." Zach was taken aback by his little brothers words, he hadn't considered how affected Gray would be when Zach leaves for College. "I'll... uh, miss you too, Gray," Zach replied to his little brother who beamed a smile at him before focusing on the environment outside. "So cute," Brooklyn stated before turning her head to look up at Zach, the two stared at one another for a moment before Brooke lightly kissed his cheek.

The three teens finally made it to the Gyrosphere Balls and Zach was in a better mood since Brooklyn left a soft kiss on his cheek along with dealing with Gray's emotions better than he could. "Follow me," Brooklyn told the Mitchell brothers as she stepped into a separate line and walked ahead holding her employee pass in her hands. "Hey Trevor, can I grab a three seater please," Brooklyn called out to Trevor who immediately turned his attention to her, a smirk appearing on his face. "Sure thing, Brooklyn," Trevor replied with a sly smile, his eyes looking her up and down as a three seater was placed in front of her. "Thanks Trevor," Brooklyn told him before she turned to Zach and Gray. "Alright, Gray, middle seat or window seat?" Brooklyn asked him.
"Window!" Gray cheered making Brooke and Zach chuckle at his excitement, Brooke ignored the vibration of her phone as Zach climbed in first and then she followed leaving Gray to get in last. "Seatbelts, boys," Brooklyn warned with a smile, both listened and clicked their belts on before Brooklyn motioned for Zach to steer the ball. As the ball rolls away from the crowd, Trevor picks up the ringing phone and answers, "Hello?" However, a shocked expression takes over, "Seriously?!" He hungs up and glances towards where Brooklyn and her company had steered off before looking back at the crowd. "Sorry, folks, the ride is closed," Trevor informed the tourists who began whining and complaining. "Everyone needs to proceed to the monorail and exit towards the..." Trevor trails off reading the manual as everyone complained, "Come on, guys. I just work here."

Rolling through the Gyrosphere Valley, Zach steers the ball as Jimmy Fallon appears on the screen rambling on about science and Dinosaurs; Brooklyn had heard it a thousand times. Brooklyn and Gray rambled on about Dinosaurs while Zach listened, he smiled at the way his brother and Brooke got along. However, their attention is taken by the automated voice as it says, "Due to technical difficulties, all our exhibits are now closed. Please disembark all rides and return to the resort." Brooklyn furrowed her brows in confusion and pulled her phone from her pocket to see a couple of missed calls from Owen along with Barry, she felt uneasy seeing that mixed with the warning. "Come on, we can stay out a couple more minutes," Zach said as he noticed Gray's disappointed expression.
"But they said it was closed," Gray replied to his big brother. "Yeah, Zach, I think maybe it might be smarter to listen to the warning as we happen to be in a Dinosaur park and if they're closing things, it may be something big," Brooklyn voiced cautiously as she didn't wish to freak Gray out. "Oh, come on, Brooke... would it really hurt? Aunt Claire gave us special wristbands, right? We're VIP, it'll be fun," Zach told the two in hopes to convince them, he turned his eyes to Brooke and sent her an innocent smile that made her swoon slightly. "I don't know..." Brooklyn muttered as Zach reached up to play with her loose strand of hair. "Come on, please," Zach pleaded making Brooke frown slightly, she hated how those brown eyes already captivated her and despite knowing deep down this was a bad idea, she nodded in agreement.
After some time of riding along the Valley, Zach's phone rang and he looked to see Claire's name on the screen. "Hey, Claire," Zach greeted as Brooklyn pointed out different Dinosaurs to Gray, the boy asking what they were thinking about leaving both amused when Brooklyn simply stated 'Grass'. "Zach, thank God. Is Gray and Brooklyn with you?" Claire asked her eldest nephew. "I can't really hear you. We're in the Hamster ball," Zach replied. "Gyrosphere," Brooklyn corrected only to receive a teasing wink from Zach. "Okay, Zach, listen to me. I need you to..." Claire cut off due to the poor reception and so Zach simply hung up and focused back on the woman sitting next to him teaching his brother everything she knew about the Herbivores surrounding them.
The Gyrosphere ball rolled towards a broken gate that lead into the Jungle, Brooklyn immediately sat up straight and analysed the sight cautiously knowing that none of the Herbivores would have dared broken through due to claiming the Valley already. "What happened here?" Gray asked Brooklyn who clearly looked concerned. "Dude. Off road," Zach suggested to Gray while Brooklyn began shaking her head instantly. "Zach, we need to go back, okay? This isn't a good sign," Brooklyn warned through a shaky voice, she was doing her best to keep calm in front of Gray as she didn't want to scare the boy but all of her instincts were screaming for her to run the other way; especially her more Dino side.
"Look, I'm just worried that Gray isn't getting the full Jurassic World experience," Zach told Brooklyn knowing he'd have to convince her. "Zach, you do not want the whole experience," Brooke's words were stern as she looked into Zach's eyes, she could hear her father's warnings echoing in her head telling her to run away and get off of the island. "Brooke~" Zach practically sang out before steering the ball forward, Brooklyn moved to stop him but he lightly pressed her back into her seat. "It'll be okay. Just a quick minute and we'll leave," Zach assured her once he noticed the genuine fear in her eyes. "No more than one minute, that's sixty seconds," Brooklyn warned despite knowing just how stupid this decision would turn out to be. Damn him and his pretty eyes.
