Chapter Twenty Four
THE next morning, the group made their way towards the special closet, which was located on the third floor not too far away from their bedroom. Mal opened the door in one, swift move, revealing a big, walk-in closet with different clothes. Felix glanced at the clothes for a moment, realizing that there was an entire row of colored LGBTQ+ clothing.
All types of flags were located on the walls of the room, while the clothes were divided into the flags above them, allowing whoever walked in to pick which flag they wanted and pick their favorite clothes. Mal made her way towards the familiar purple, black and white flag and began to flip through the clothes. She eventually picked a pullover with the same colors, then turned to her friends, who had impressed, awestruck smiles over the faces as they scanned the room.
"Guys, pick whatever you want. Come on before we're late. We need to arrive early so we can wow the entire school."
They all giggled at her enthusiasm. Felix made his way towards the general rainbow flag along with Hyunjin, who picked a black sweatshirt with the rainbow flag printed on its chest to show their alliance with the community.
Han gulped, then made his way towards the blue and white flag designed for gay men, and picked a pullover that was similar to Mal's. Mal grinned and gave him a quick, encouraging hug.
"You still need to tell me all about Minho."
Han smiled and hugged her back. "Of course! Thank you so much for your support. Seriously."
"Of course, Jisung. I'm here for you."
"And we're here for you too. Not that we didn't notice your very obvious relationship with Minho but..."
Mal giggled at Felix's remark. "I can't wait to hear all about him on the way to school."
Chan stared at his friends dreamingly, smiling as he remembered his days at a school all the way back in South Korea. "I honestly still wish I was still at school with you guys. I would have worn one of these sweatshirts to show my alliance with the community. I didn't know that much about it back then, but I was open to the opportunity to learn."
Mal smiled at his dreamy expression. "You know, you can still show your support."
Hyunjin nodded at that, then turned to grab one of the sweatshirts behind him, handing it over to his older friend. "Yeah. Why don't you join us?"
"Wait, really?"
They all shook their heads in agreement. He grinned and accepted the sweatshirt. "Thanks, guys. But, you know I'll be in the studio for the morning, right? And then I'll go back to the apartment. I'm not actually going anywhere."
"It doesn't matter. You can still show your support to us, you know? And it will be fun if we're all wearing matching outfits."
Chan shook his head while smiling. "Okay, then. I'll do it."
They cheered to their friend, then got out of the room. Mal made sure to switch off the light before closing the door behind them.
"By the way, my mum wants me to go grocery shopping after school. Would you like to come with me?" she offered as she caught up to the group, turning to Felix.
"Of course, baby, whatever you need!"
She giggled, wrapping her arms around his torso in a side hug. "Thanks, sunshine!"

They arrived at the school forty-five minutes later.
And to their surprise, everyone glanced in their direction and clapped.
"Great shirts, guys!" Joshua, who was wearing a purple and pink bisexual flag pullover, complimented from the other side of the hallway. Some of the students repeated the same compliment, which made Mal smile.
"Wow, I didn't know you were asexual! Since when?" Josie, who was wearing a transgender flag pullover, asked as she stepped closer towards them.
"Since six months ago, probably," she replied with a smile. Holding Felix's hand, the couple continued to step deeper into the hallway, while most of the students continued to mutter words of congratulations and pride.
All the students, except a certain one who stood a little further away from everyone else, eyed the couple in greed and envy.
"This asshole makes me seem like the bad guy," Griffin muttered, opening his locker and peeking from behind it so he doesn't seem like a creep.
"What do you mean? Why would him supporting her sexuality make you seem like the bad guy?" Diego asked with a dumbfounded expression, grabbing his book from his locker before closing it shut.
Griffin turned to his friend with an angry, frowning face. "Oh, don't you see? When we were together, she didn't announce her sexuality to everyone like she's doing right now, therefore I didn't seem like I was supportive of it before. But now... Look at this guy! He's holding her hand and telling her how proud he is of her in front of the entire school and he's making me seem like the asshole who knew nothing about his girlfriend!"
Diego glanced at the floor, biting his lower lip in dismay. Griffin rolled his eyes and stepped closer towards him. "What?!"
"It's just... Why didn't you support her sexuality, Griffin? She said once that she told you about a lot of things, things that she only trusted with you, and you didn't pay one attention to her because you were too busy cheating with Sabrina, who was too busy cheating on you with Joshua, who already had Olivia as his girlfriend? It only seems to me like you're the one making yourself look bad."
Griffin scoffed at his words, then looked away for a mere second.
"Well, maybe because I didn't know what asexuality meant back then? I only thought of it as some kind of word, o-or maybe a disease!" he stopped for a moment, allowing a mischievous smirk to crawl through his face. "Speaking of Joshua, we need to pay a little visit to him. I have a favor to ask, if you can even call it that."
