Chapter Eleven
"FELIX?" the boy began, tears welling up in his eyes. Felix hurried towards him, wrapping his arms around him in a tight, desperate hug.
"Hyunjin?"
They let each other go after a few, long minutes, tearing up rapidly.
"Oh my God..." Felix ran his hand through his long hair for a moment, trying to process the situation. "Y-You're real, right?" he questioned in Korean.
"Yes, I'm real. Are you?"
They both giggled and hugged each other again.
They let each other go in a few minutes. They looked into each other's eyes, then teared up once again.
"Come on, let's go tell the others."
"Others? Who else is here?" Felix questioned as he was dragged by his friend inside the apartment. The apartment was a lot like his, considering the fact that they were on the same floor. However, the decorations were a little bit different. The furniture wasn't in the same place. The living room had a big, grey couch and a small table, with a smaller television on the other end. The color of the wall was a darker shade of grey, and the kitchen was connected to the dining room by a small concrete island.
That moment, as Felix scanned the apartment with his eyes, he spotted two other slightly-older boys standing by the kitchen, making food. The first boy was around his very early twenties, with short chestnut brown hair, chocolate brown eyes, a slim figure, while the other one also had a slim figure, he had short chocolate brown hair, and a slightly longer face structure, with a darker pair of brown eyes.
"Oh my God!" Felix exclaimed as he ran towards them to tackle them in a tight hug. Hyunjin could only smile as the other began to tear up.
"You guys are alive..."
As soon as they let each other go, the three boys began to shower Felix with questions.
"When did you get here?"
"How did you get here?"
"Do you know anything about the other members?"
"Woah, woah. I don't understand anything!" Felix joked, wiping his tears away. They laughed a little before turning to him again.
"When did you get here?"
"About two months ago, I think. Somebody emailed me a plane ticket and I used the rest of my money to get into school," he explained.
They all agreed at that, knowing that they went through the same situation after the accident. "Us too."
"Do you guys know anything about the other members?" he asked hopefully. The older boy's face fell as he shook his head.
"No, we haven't heard from them..."
Felix frowned, tears filling his eyes again as he expected the worst. This time, however, they weren't tears of happiness.
"It's okay. They have to show up eventually, right?" the other boy said.
"Yeah. Yes, they have to."
The next thing they knew, the four of them were sitting on the living room couch, chatting aggressively about their lives. Felix happily began to explain everything since he had moved to the city, starting from the first day of school, to his first date, to his encounters with the popular boys in his school, who were jealous of his relationship with his girlfriend.
"Wow, she's so lucky. What's her name?"
"Her name is Mal. You could say she was the only nice person when I came to the school." Felix spoke, smiling a little at the memory of her, despite her being with him only ten minutes before. "By the way, do you guys have a phone? I need to tell her about you guys."
"Ugh, I wish, but my phone was burned in the fire."
"Mine too."
"Same."
Felix groaned and sank into the couch. "Mine too. I guess we'll have until tomorrow then."
"Yes, but don't worry. We can't wait to meet her."
The rest of them smiled. "Thanks, Chan."
"Anytime, Lix."
