✧･ﾟ┊ 𝐉𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝐀 𝐅𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐍𝐃

Several seconds that turned into a quarter of minutes and a whole of an hour in a blur, Jisoo has finally finished all her tasks in the café.

"Hey Jisoo eonnie!" One of her co-workers greeted her, curtly bowing at the older to show respect. They were about the close the café, but since they still have plenty much of time to hold, they decided to rest for a bit.

"Hey Jen! No need to bow! After all, we're friends." Jisoo's pearly whites appeared, as her heart-shaped lips curved upwards at the brunette who reciprocated the smile.

"So, how's your day, Jisoo?" Jennie asked, whilst the female was taken aback by the sudden question. She then reminisced the little precious memories she had with her new male friend, Jungkook. The ones she'll definitely treasure by.

"It was actually nice! So I'd been hanging out with this kid and- But Jisoo has never finished what she was saying, because the door of the café opened in such a loud bang, echoing throughout the small place.

"Yoongi!" Jennie has completely forgotten about her friend's presence, as she quickly ran towards the aforementioned male, who was already smiling at her.

Jisoo cocked one eyebrow, as she tilted her head towards their direction, examining them closely.

They hugged each other with such an affectionate manner, as if their life depends to one another. They looked so sweet, and also adorable together, it just sends this wonderful feeling. Therefore, she assumed that they were definitely a thing, concluding all the PDA they actually did right in front of her.

"Jisoo, this is Yoongi! The one I've been telling you about," Jennie said in such a happy reaction, arms still snaked into his waist.

The aforementioned male whose name was Yoongi waved his hand to Jisoo. But soon enough, he quickly darted his attention back to his girl, Jennie.

Jisoo just wanted to die right now, and cringe at the couple in front of her, hoping that someone would come to the rescue and yank her out of this awkward situation she was in.

She awkwardly smiled at them, not trying to ruin the mood when not after a second, the chimes of their café sang cheerfully, meaning that someone new has arrived at the café.

Yoongi, Jennie and Jisoo tilted their head towards the new person who arrived, who quickly removed his cap, and darted his attention to the three. But soon, his eyes narrowed down at Jisoo, who stared at him wide eyed, obviously shocked.

"Oh hey! Jungkook!" Jisoo has to admit that she was relieved to see her friend male now, especially in this sticky situation she has been stuck in.

"Oh? Who's that Jisoo?" Jennie pointed her index finger towards the male, whom was smiling at them, bowing curtly at the three.

"Hi! I'm Jungkook, Jisoo's-"

"Boyfriend? Wow eonnie!" Jennie immediately cut off the newly arrived male, whom widened his eyes at the sudden words, whilst Jisoo just only wanted to melt out here, and just escape this. But it seems like there was no way, now that her male friend has shown up.

"Actually we're n-

"Aww eonnie already found her peanut butter to her jelly." Jennie smiled, cutting of Jisoo's words. God this woman is too damn direct.

She almost tried not to puked, disgusted at the terms Jennie used.

Suddenly, an idea popped out of nowhere from Jisoo's mind. She quickly ran towards her friend's direction, and snaked her arms around Jungkook's waist, who immediately flinched at the sudden contact of their skin. He shuddered.

He quickly looked at Jisoo, who mouthed Play along. Realization hit him hard, as he quickly understood what she was implying.

"Ah yes! I am Jisoo's boyfriend! Ha ha ha!" He laughed awkwardly, unsure about what he has to say, since he has never ever encountered this kind of situation ever.

"So, uh can we leave now? Me and my boyfriend has a lot of catching up to do." She faked a smile, hoping that they would just leave them alone.

Their was a long pause, when Yoongi and Jennie only laughed it off, believing the white lie they tried to portray.

"Aww you guys are so adorable!" Jennie commented, as her boyfriend nodded, agreeing.

Jisoo just smiled at them, faking it really well.

The real couple looked at each other for a second, whispering and murmuring something.

"You know, Yoongi and I has a reservation in a restaurant for 4 people including us, and we think you can come with us!" Jennie squealed in delight, as she cuddled with her boyfriend, who smiled at her adorable action.

"Yeah, and we can get to know each other better!" Yoongi said, giving in a nod of approval to his girlfriend's statement.

When the two thought that they already wanted to banish into this world, was just an understatement. Because there is no way, NO IN THE FRICKING WAY they'll act all lovey dovey, considering the fact they were just faking it, and worse, they were only friends!

But the decision wasn't theirs, because the couple right in front of them has already decided, and that would definitely crush them if they refused.

So there are only two choices.

To tell them the truth, or to actually fake it. But it seems like they were rooting for the second option instead.

"So eonnie, tell me about this Jungkook guy. Where'd you meet him? Why'd you date each other? Have y-"

Jisoo just wanted to tell them the truth, but she only fought the urge not to disappoint her friend, so she continued faking it all.

They were in a super fancy restaurant inside a huge mall, and the appearance itself can tell you that this was a favorite restaurant of elites.

"Uh, can we not talk about this here?" Jisoo said, slightly embarassed at the classy looking people who were eyeing them from nearby and from afar, due to the loud voice of Jennie.

Jungkook then looked around, still gawking at the newly unfamiliar place that he was in.

He then quickly darted his attention to Jisoo, who was already thinking and counting ways to escape all this shenanigans.

Sooner, the female thought of a plan, something that would benefit both Jungkook and her at the same time.

"So Jen, me and uh, Jungkook wanted to check something out. Can you excuse us for a bit?" Jisoo used her puppy eyes, trying her very best to persuade her friend, which easily hypnotized her.

Jungkook slightly cocked one eyebrow at Jisoo, amused by her persuation skills, who seems to perfectly trick Jennie.

"Ok then!" Jennie shooed them away, and darted her attention to Yoongi.

Without wasting any second, Jisoo quickly rose from her seat, along with Jungkook who was finally able to breath, before marching out of the restaurant.

"God that was so weird!" Jungkook scatched his nape, reminiscing the very weird and awkward situation they were in. But soon, his frown was quickly plastered into a smile, just by remembering the moment yesterday.

Jisoo frowned at the male, feeling sorry, since she was the cause of all this shenanigans. "Sorry if you got involved with the commotion." The female said, obviously feeling dissappointed to herself, because things got more messier for the latter.

"Nah it's okay!" Jungkook waved his hands at the air frantically, dissmissing the unecessary apologies that were coming from Jisoo.

"I actually enjoyed this day!" Jungkook smiled at Jisoo, whose heart was already beating fast just after hearing his statement, and seeing him smile because of her. That was such a wonderful feeling, making a person smile because of you. Especially if it's Jungkook, because it was really rare seeing him smile, since he was always worrying about a lot of things.

"I could say the same." Jisoo smiled at her friend, giving in a hint that she somehow still enjoyed this day, just by with his very presence.

Soon enough, the two of them wandered off, with such happiness painted on their faces. One with a different reason, and one, still unaware of the fast beating of the heart.

This chapter turned out way TOO fast, since I tried to fitted the events with the plot.
