"Why can't you speak whatever you have in your mind now instead of creating so much confusion?" Naina asked him as they walked down the lane.
"That would be too much for tonight. I don't want you to have a sleepless night. We will speak about this tomorrow." He replied.
"Why not today? I would choose to spend a sleepless night rather than not being able to sleep with so much suspense." She said, pulling his arm.
"I have never been into a serious relationship, Naina. The moment I saw you, I wanted to try a lot of things with you. That's the reason I propose a no strings relationship. Trust me we both will enjoy it. " He stalled as they reached their house and spoke in a composed voice staring directly into her eyes.
Naina did not respond trying to analyse and absorb whatever he just said.
"You mean a fling relation-between us?"
Sameer bobbed his head in a way of yes.
"This kissing thing is still new to me. Having an overprotective brother in my life isn't easy to deal with. I...I don't know how to respond you. These flings aren't my type." Naina stuttered, taking a few steps backwards. He intervened with her fingers.
"Trust me when I say it's going to be a win-win situation, I mean it. "
"I need time to decideβ" Her words hung out between her mouths as he pressed his lips on hers. In just a fraction of seconds his arm wrapped around her waist while his other hand rested on her neck. He kissed her hungrily and desperately. Before Naina could withdraw her mind from the situation, his arms were around her. She again felt a rush of helplessness, the surging tide of warmth that left her limp. It felt as if their body would have exploded with the feeling of happiness, the feeling of being rarely safe in each other's hold.
"Take your time, Naina." He whispered against her ears.
"What if I deny your offer?"
"I will make you accept it then." He replied calmly.
"You won't be able to force me. If you do so, I will make sure you will have to pay back for your deeds." She said, wrapping her arms against her chest.
"I have my ways, Naina. You will accept the offer by yourself. " Sameer said as he pressed his thumb on her lips. He leaned down to reach her height and whispered in her left ear, "He kissed her, like her lips were air and he couldn't breathe." mumbled the lines which she had scribbled down in her diary.
"This was your first fantasy, wasn't it? Kissing a man as the twilight would witness it. " She pursed her lips as her face heated up.
"I am not into fling relationships, you get that?" She said, opening the gates and rushing towards her house.
"Just tell me one thing before you leave, Naina." His voice pricked her senses and turned around. He smirked as he found her eyes travelling up the leanness of his body until their eyes met.
"How loud do you think you'll scream when I fuck you?" Her eyes widened up listening to him. Her brain wasn't able to find the words to adequately express what she felt. He let out a chuckle, resting his arm on the rocky wall.
"I will wait for your answer, Naina" A smile lingered on his face and walked towards his apartment.

Sameer's POV
We break apart, breathing hard, and I stare at her like an idiot, my brain still too numb to figure out exactly how I got here.
Naina.
I was able to think of only her. She felt so perfect and soft which nearly killed me. I mumbled against my breath pulling her closer. She fits perfectly in my arms, like we were made for this, like we've done this a thousand times before. When we broke apart she looked different, her eyes had turned darker. She turns her gaze away and when she looks back again, smiling at me for a second. I think we might both be thinking the same thing. She needed time which I knew. But every time I saw her, I felt things which I had never felt before. Not love, though. Relationships were never my type. I could think of what I could do with her, my pretty girl.
"Just tell me one thing before you leave, Naina." I called her as she stalled in her tracks and turned behind to face me. Her eyes trailed on my body before reaching my eyes which made me grin.
"How loud do you think you'll scream when I fuck you?" I asked at which her eyes widened in shock. Her lips parted before she pursed it and shook her head. I chuckled at her antics which seemed cute to me. "I will wait for your answer, Naina." I mumbled as I left for towards apartment. I pulled out the nicotine stick and lit it, placing it on my lips.
"S...Sameer." A soft yet hesitant voice called me. I tried to look through the bushes to find my pretty girl calling me, making me smile instantly.

"Missing me already?" Sameer flirted at which she shook her head swiftly in a way of no.
"I need help," She said, which sounded like a whisper. "I forgot to take my keys. I have never been like this. It's always Mom, Dad or Arjun who makes sure that they take keys of the house. I have never stayed alone and this is my first time. Why do I have to be so careless?" She uttered the last statement to herself.
"You can stay at my home. Tomorrow you can get new keys made." He suggested. Naina nodded her head hesitantly which was noticed by him. Making sure the gates were closed, she walked into his apartment.
"Thank you for letting me stay. I won't disturb you." She mumbled as he gestured her to walk in.
"Do you want to eat something?" Sameer asked her at which she shook her head in a way of no in response.
"You can rest in the guest room. It's a little messyβ"
"I will clean it." Naina replied.
"You said you have never cleaned or done any work before. I will clean the room for you, it won't take much time." He said calmly and walked in the guest room. Naina followed him in the room and stared at his house adoring the photographs of his family.
"This is for you." Naina turned to see Sameer holding a few clothes.
"I am bothering you so much."
"It can be compensated with a kiss." He smirked, leaning towards her. Naina palmed his lips and shook her head in a way of no. He chuckled widened eyes.
"So you wish to sleep?" He asked her.
"I don't have anything else to do. The book which I read last night is in my bookshelf. My phone is nearly dead. So sleeping is the only option left."
"What about spending some time on the rooftop?"
"I am in only if you keep you won't do any dirty business." Sameer's lips tugged a bit, "Yeah, no dirty business, I promise."

Stars filled the night sky. It was the promise of life in the darkness, a sense of warmth springing from the cold. Sameer stared at the sky each night still it felt so new and fresh. His breathing deepened a little while his smile reached his eyes. Naina cocooned herself with a blanket. "I miss my Mom, Dad, Arjun, Jay and Olaf."
"You are seriously missing that soft toy?"
"Olaf!"
"It's just a white cloth stuffed with cotton."
"No it's Olaf! If you don't call it by its name I will kick you off the roof." He laughed as she huffed in anger.
"What did your parents gift you when you were a kid, Sameer?" Naina asked him.
"Nothing." He uttered.
"You don't want to share with me, right?" She said, looking at him, pulling her lips into a pout.
"I haven't received any such gifts. My family is not like yours," He sighed. She looked at him with a confused face.
"My dad wanted me to continue the family business but I don't wish to do that. Being an only child, I have been pressured to be successful like him. He doesn't understand what I wish to become in the future which leads to fights and arguments. I have stopped visiting my home because I don't want mom to get tense because of our bickering."
"It's your life so the decisions which you take must be respected by your parents."
"If that was so easy for him to understand." He mumbled against his breath.
"He will understand you. How could a father not agree with his son?" She said, placed her arm around his shoulder.
"Tell me more about yourself." He said as he turned his face to look at her.
"I love my family but Arjun a little more. He has been more of a fatherly figure to me. He is my someone with whom I have never hidden my secrets except the ones which I had written in my diary." Her voice lowered down while Sameer nodded his head in a way of understanding listening to her keenly. "I have always liked to write and read books. Thanks to all my passion for reading books which filled me with positive as well as dirty thoughts."
He smiled a bit listening to her, shifting his attention back to the night sky.
Naina's POV
"I have always liked to write and read books. Thanks to all my passion for reading books which filled me with positive as well as dirty thoughts."
I said whatever I had in my mind. I was not shy or felt uncomfortable around him which was strange. I somewhere knew he would never judge me. I stared at his whole naturally pink lips, wanting to taste those again. He glanced at me, feeling my gaze. I watched his lips part as I moved in closer. His eyes widened slightly. When my mouth closed over his, a low moan escaped from his mouth. The sound was soft, just like the feel of his lips. Everything about him was so perfect. His toned body pressed against my chest, the fabric which he had worn was curled up in my fist. I loved the way his mouth opened at my gentle insistence, allowing me in. He kissed me back slowly, mirroring my movements.
As we broke apart, we stared at each other for a few seconds. His lips curved into a smile.
Dimples.
"Go to your room. It's already too late." He said as he pat my cheeks. I stared at him in confusion. I made the first move and now I was bothered. Why wasn't he making any further moves?
Maybe he doesn't want to push you too far and scare you off. My conscience replied.
"Should I take that as an affirmative sign?" He questioned with a smirk.
Maybe I should make the first move but what if he thinks I am too easy to be whipped?Β
" I will be busy thinking how lucky I am." He replied smugly which made me gasp. He leaned forward, placing his lips on mine. And he kisses me until I've had a taste and realize I'll never have enough. His arms travel up my back. Suddenly he's kissing me deeper, with a fervent urgent need I've never known before.
I feel feverish and dizzy as realisation struck me that I kissed the boy whom I met today more than once and still wasn't getting enough. He leaned towards me, supported by his elbow with a constant smirk that lingered on his face.
"I feel nothing for you. Absolutely nothing!" I said shifting a bit as I felt my cheeks heated by the constant stare.
"Is that so?" His tone was mused, which only irritated me more.
"Yep. Nothing"
He leaned closer to my face with a smirk on his face. I swallowed visibly, refusing to back up. He laughed at my discomfort.
"Relax pretty woman, I am not going to do something which you don't wish to."
That relieved me somewhat, until he added, "not until you ask me to anyway."
I couldn't take my eyes off him for a few moments. "I am not going to ask anything which you have in your dirty mind." I uttered covering myself with the blanket not wanting him to see my flushed face.
Voiceover ends
"Asleep?" He asked her, she rubbed her eyes with her knuckles bobbing her head in response.
"Get in your room, it's getting cold here." He said at which she nodded no, pulling her blanket closer. "I want to sleep here itself. It feels good." She mumbled. Sameer sighed, he covered her with his blanket. A smile crept to his face as he stared at her. Her phone vibrated and she gasped seeing the caller. She sat up in jerk and received the call.
"What are you doing, little one?" His hoarse voice hit her ears.
"Trying to sleep, Bhaiyu." She said in a low voice.
"So how was your day, Naina?"
"I... I actually went to a club." She confessed not able to lie to him.
"Okay and?"
"And I am now staying at my friend's place because I forgot to take my keys."
"I am not surprised that you didn't listen to me. It's not even been a day to make friends, Naina. You must not trust anyone in an unknown place like that. That's the reason I didn't want you to study there. I am going to come there tomorrow itself to pick you from there-"
"Arjun, you are being too protective again. That's the reason I wanted to study in an university far from our house. I can take care of myself."
"Yeah, so you decided to not take your keys ans end up staying at your friend's place. You aren't understanding why I am restricting you from doing certain things. Be careful, do not trust people blindly."
"I am sorry."
"It's fine, little one. Don't stress yourself now. Good night." He said before he cut the call. She held onto the phone for a few seconds still thinking about what he said. Was she being too quick to trust people? She glanced at Sameer who was laying next to her with his eyes fixated on the stars.
